  1. Lol, nice new comic! Love the Dark Knight references. That was a pretty humorous villain-backstory. Wondering who the mysterious character at the end could be..-V-

  2. I like the concept of this series. I actually can't recall seeing this concept done before, where the series revolves around a matoran who's had his "topic closed".You have a really great start, the backgrounds look decent enough to fair well with the sprites (Glad you're not using Chimoru like 90% of the forum :P), and those speech bubbles are really well done. I like the humor in this as well. It's a nice change from the usual stuff other newbies bring in.Great job on these, so far. They're looking really spiffy.-V-

  3. @Meso: Yup, one thing I'd love to work on is character development.I'm trying my best to keep that up without the characters being overshadowed by the plot.@Eljay: Sooner than you think! Camoflauge is a natural ability of symbiotes.I never shed too much light on that before, or other symbiote abilities, so I atleast want to do that for the rest of the comics. And lol, you and your team are going to play a pretty decent role for the rest of this season.@Chath: Something else I also didn't really shed light on, actually! Hybrid can be said to be Massacre's biological uncle. The symbiotes that form Hybrid are siblings with Dona, so of course, I have to play with that fact. I'll be working on the symbiote origins much better when I get back to work on the Reimagined Comics. Now, another new comic is here!Comic 259: May the Test BeginSo the comics have been updated pretty irregularly this week. This is because I was gone for the past weekend, but I still wanted to update. And I also wanted to announce that I'll be changing the schedule of new comics.V.3 will now be updated three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.Enjoy the new comic!-V-

  4. @Chath: Young people are crazy, man. And lol.@Meso: Of course I had to go back to the symbiotes at some point soon. And yeah, the next few comics will actually set this series forward in a more interesting direction. The show hasn't even started yet.Now for a surprise! A new comic today!Comic 258: Bare TeethEnjoy!-V-

  5. I see this series has potential. While I'm not a big fan of the kit choice (almost everyone uses Chimoru nowadays =P), your graphic style isn't too bad.You have some decent looking backgrounds that do alright with the sprites, and it looks like you're doing okay with GIMP effects. The humor isn't too bad either. Kinda random, but it still works. This is a pretty good start for you, and I'll be looking here to see how you do through time. =D-V-

  6. Ah man. The good old days of expanding RZMIK.Great work, dude. I'm not a big fan of how Jaller's mask turned out, but everything else looks fine to me.I really like how Matoro's mask looks. Great job on that. Also, Mata Prime, an RZ topic was started a while back here.Don't post in it, though. It's dead.Maybe with a significant rise in interest for the RZ kit, a new topic will be started sometime.-V-

  7. Awww heck yeah. That Venom minifig, dude. It's finally here after all these years of wanting one. @_@(And lol yes. Just. Yes. J. Jonah Jameson)I also really like that Beetle minifig on Marvel's end.Spidey looks alright, but they really should've given him a red torso with blue printing like before. =/I'm lovin' the Arkham City and TDKR based minifigs on DC's end, too.Dat Batman. Dat Bane. And woohoo for Red Robin.-V-

  8. @Eljay: Yup, it's very important that this was established. It becomes significant later on in the series. Thanks!@Meso: Thanks! In this portion of the season, I'm trying to make the comics in a way that you don't exactly have to worry about back-tracking if you're just starting to follow the series by giving brief explanations here and there. This starts with Comic 250, in which you're featured.@Bio: Thank you! I'll try not to disappoint.@Kahi: Lol, yup. In my version of the comic land, Hapori Tohu shares his power with all of the comic makers in order for them to run their studios. As I mentioned above, this becomes very significant later on. And oh god. I'm never giving Deadpool a symbiote. XPAlright, well with BZP being down yesterday, I couldn't properly update the topic. But obviously, now I can! With a new comic.Comic 254: Business SucksStick around for the next comic coming soon! For now, Enjoy!-V-

  9. Oh, man, trust me. If it wasn't for that deadline, I would've put more depth into those parts. So yeah, I won't deny that it may look rushed. Cuz kinda it was. =PI'm glad you enjoyed it so much! Thank you very much for your feedback.-V-

  10. Oh look, it's Spider Man.How awesome. That was a great comic. Looking forward to seeing where this goes; Spidey being the focus for a few comics sounds like a cool idea. I wonder what that light is...Looking forward to the next comic, good sir.-Mesonak
Oh good, Spiderman is actually getting some purposeful screen time.He always got screen time, but it was always...More comical than serious.I wonder where this new road of the storyline will take us.
Thanks guys. I definitely wanted to give Spidey a biggerrole for the rest of the series right now for reasons you stated, Chath.I think I could do much more with his character. He deserves it.
Be careful Spidey. It could be small knives.
I loved that part so much.
What an interesting way of getting his old remastered suit back. Sprite looks nice, 'cept for the eyes... They could be kinda rounder I guess =PAlso, where are those backgrounds from? They looks interesting. Either way, looks great and I look forward to the next one!sig.png
Thanks! I redesigned him the best I could to represent his new costume in the new movie.Doing that in RZ of course has some complications, but yeah. The backgrounds are partially my work, and partially ripped from an old SNES video game.I'll be citing everything when I finish the series. So I've decided on a schedule for new comics. I will update at least twice a week: Tuesdays and Fridays.I may or may not update more than twice a week time to time for special/random occasions. XPSo since today is Friday...Comic 252: Traffic JamEnjoy!-V-
  11. In the podcast, we looked at the comic as what it was- a joke entry. It's not a well hidden secret that it's a joke entry, and I know enough background information to even say a portion of the votes were riggedbecause people think its funny to get a comic like that into the finals. That's shameful. Perhaps not by fact, but by my opinion, it sure well is.And you of anybody shouldn't act like you don't know what I'm talking about, Superkid. If you and the others want to keep defending it so stronglyby trying to turn the tables against the offense, then fine.I'm sure you love the laugh you get from it.-V-

  12. I don't really think all the hate is really necessary to BIOCICLES ACTITON COMIC. Even if it might not be your favorite entry doesn't mean you should bash it. A lot of people enjoyed it enough to vote (or they just voted for it) so it got some support. Even if it doesn't look like it deserved that many votes as apposed to Strawberry Ice-Cream (which is one of my favorite entries), there are still some people who did think so. How would you like it if people showed so much hate for your own creations just because of how it looks or functions. So try not to hate on BAC. ~Soran
I would kindly agree with you if the comic wasn't purposely made to look terrible as a joke-entry.That's why I don't think it deserved any more votes than the other entries, which were entered as actual entries, with effort actually put into them to make a good comic.Personally, it's not a huge deal to me. I'm not one to cry about it.But that doesn't make it any less shameful in my eyes. =/-V-
  13. Well, two of the entries deserved to be here, so congrats to the majority of the winners.~B~
    I agree.Congratulations to the winners!
I strongly concur.Congrats to first and third place. You deserved it.-V-
  14. This is why I'm going to continue to avoid taking Physics. And when I said your style "perfected", I meant you've managed improve the style of your comics without really changing much.I guess I do really mean "you've come a long way", but oh well. I'm bad at wording. =P-V-

  15. Ah man, I really should be posting here more often.Throughout my time on BZP, Akano, your comics have always been one of my favorites. After what happened to BZP months ago, it's great to see another comic making "veteran" still active in the forum to this day. I'm really glad to see you've still been making comics, and I value the fact you've perfected your style over time.Keep it up, Akano!-V-

  16. With that said, I pretty much concur. The only thing I really enjoyed was the fact you'll be using the Rayg kit.Everything else, while hard to read due to the clashing backgrounds, sounds promising for the future, but I'd really have to see more (and be able to read and view the content with ease) to actually judge this series. It's easier to judge a comic's content if I'm able to see it properly.I hope you take consideration into improvements for later comics, such as text that's easier to read, proper resizing of sprites, and smoother backgrounds, as it's always nice to watch new comic makers improve themselves.Luck to you in the future.-V-
