  1. Thanks you two.Alright, for the past month I've been fairly busy with both life and V.3 preparations.I'd say I've done enough to finally revitalize V.3, but that will have to come officially within the week.I've decided to begin releasing new comics starting on July 3rd to commemorateThe Amazing Spiderman movie coming out in theaters on that day.(Because as a good old fan of Spiderman, I should)These next few months I have of comic making will be filled with updates!Keep an eye out starting on July 3rd!-V-

  2. White-list would be good. Though many non-Bzpower bionicle fans would have to join Bzpower, send you a message, and get invited in. Thats the only concern I have. But its your choice.
That's not necessarily the only way to contact them, though. They can easily be reached through Rebrick and such.-V-
  3. Thanks, guys.Alright, it's now time for the next comic! The mid-season special, and an important announcement regarding V.3's future.First, the announcement. (It'll be brief!)As I mentioned before, this will be my last year in making comics.I will be retiring to focus more on my life and studies around the end of the summer season.~V.3~ will conclude for the last time in the series finale that will be posted around that time, which is about 50 more comics away. The comics will be done much more quickly and updated more regularly than before during this final run.So bear with me.After this mid-season special, some significant changes will be made to V.3 in the next half of the season. The story will remain completely consistent, rather than go on-and-off like how it's usually been in the past. I can't waste any time with this series. The comics will keep humor, but it will become much less random. This was a trait my comics had been usually known for in the early first two seasons, but I'm putting it to a halt to keep it more situational like how I've been doing it lately. The comics will start to look different as well. My style will become a lot more consistent (meaning I'm done experimenting). The backgrounds will be more consistent, meaning I'm going to ditch mixing photo-realistic backgrounds with digital backgrounds. Consistency is just something I'm really looking into keeping the comics easier to make, and look better in the end.If these will be my last comics, I'm going all out.I have another thing to talk about, but first... The new comic.Note: If you are new to the series, you may need to read Comics # 201-203and # 211-217 in order to fully understand the rest of the season.Comic 250: The Three VirtuesThis may not be a well-known fact, but for about two years I've been associated with The Three Virtues crew, and together we formed a group called Pandemic Panda. We've put several of our works under this group name, such as the already well-known upcoming Minecraft movie, Biocraft: Chronicles.I've decided, since I've been with the group for so long,I will enlist V.3 as a work under the Pandemic Panda name, considering I'm a group member working on it.This won't change anything storyline-wise or the character roster(Varderan and Mesonak becoming PGS's had been planned for a long while)but it will just explain why you will see the name Pandemic Panda in the following comics. That's all for today, future comic updates will come much later, so you'll all have to wait. XPThanks for keeping up with me and my comics! Let's make this a good, final run for me.And remember to enjoy!-V-

  4. Thanks, Soran! Story is actually going to be a bit bigger and a lot more consistent in the rest of this season.Well happy Friday everyone! (And Happy National Donut Day!)As I promised, I have a new comic today to conclude the Anti-Venom mini saga.Comic 249: Anti-Venom, Part 5This is basically starting a sort of "mid-season finale".There will be some pretty new and significant changes in the next half of the season starting after the next comic.Stick around for next week's update!(Also I should note that what's said in the last panel is a Godfather reference)-V-

Wow. You've actually managed to impress me even more than you had done so already, Maphrox. Those 3D Models still look great and they look astounding when put into action, especially the Kranua.I seriously love how the Kranua looks. The sand effect, while could've been better, didn't really stick out too much from the overall style of the comic.(Other than the brush effect that it gives)Great work, Maphrox!-V-

  5. Alrighty! Summer time!Just officially became a high school graduate last Friday, meaning I'm done with school for now.Which especially means more time for updates! As I said I would do, I remade the previous comic, and made some slight changes.Comic 247: Anti-Venom, Part 3PGS's will be more involved later on in the series. Promise.Comic 249 will be up this Friday, and it will conclude the 'Anti-Venom' part saga.So stick around, it's a real deal.-V-

  6. Wow. Eddie's gone psychopathic.

He's pretty much falling into increased aggression, which is a side effect of hosting a symbiote.@Invictus and Meso: Glad you two liked the comic. Before I progress, though, I'll have to redo the previous comic like I said.Nice that you noticed the new poster, BTW. @MesoJust whipped it up this morning, going for the traditional abstract look of ~V~ posters.-V-
  7. Thanks again for bearing with me guys. And I'm glad you two decided to catch up a bit on my recent comics, @LNU, @karpinsikijd.I haven't been able to gain everything back, instead I had to restore a few things I had saved to my old computer.Very outdated things. So I've lost alot of recent work, like I said...Meaning I've lost some key sprites that I actually needed to continue V.3 properly. But hey.I managed.Comic 248: Anti-Venom, Part 4And for the first time in a long time, I have to redo a previous comic. Number 247.Because B-Shelf was down when I made it, I uploaded it to iaza, and it's now been removed from the iaza database, which is why the link is broken. And because the file was saved to my old laptop... Yeah.So I'll get to that sometime. In the meantime, enjoy the new comic! The next one is going to have to be a bit of a longer comic.-V-

  8. I've worked with both styles before, but I prefer sprite comics. It's become more of a passion for me,considering I've done my own spriting over the years.Though, in a general comparison, I think both styles are equally good. They both take time and effort to make something good out of.Saying every sprite comic is nothing but lazy copy paste is like saying every hand drawn comic is just stick figures and badly drawn panels. XPI can appreciate others' opinions, though as to which style they prefer. But I don't appreciate being called a lazy, untalented sprite comic maker, like how the majority of BZP sees the Comics forum to be filled with.Seriously. Be a bit more open-minded.(Not directed towards you, Peach00. :P)-V-

  9. Thanks, Cal and Meso. And I want to apologize for the more than a month-long lack of updates to pretty much everything. As noted already, I recently worked my butt off for a whole month on The Legend of Runii,a 12-part comic I made for the Comics Contest, but failed to enter it into. The last few days working on that gave me a massive headache, and a feel of not wanting to touch GIMP or Paint for comics ever again. Temporarily of course. :PI've also had a lot of school work recently, but that doesn't even top the fact my laptop's hard drive, the same very laptop I do everything on, has failed as of yesterday, and I may or may not be losing a lot of work done behind the scenes for ~V.3~.I'm currently using a new laptop provided by my dad (technically provided by his job) to get by,while in the meantime we try recovering all of my data from my friggin' hard drive.Back to the comics, I will probably be back on my working feet shortly after this issue is settled, and when I feel well-rested enough to work again progressively on the Reimagining, The Outliner, and of course, most definitely, ~V.3~.Thanks for bearing with me guys, and Happy April Fools.(No, that doesn't mean I'm joking)(And no, that wasn't sarcasm)-V-

  10. Hated the whole thing. :PNaw, I'm kidding! The whole thing was pretty cute actually, and like a lot of people said, the graphics were really good too! ^^

Thanks Alena! I really appreciate you taking the time to read and post.

Absolutely amazing series, Venom. I REALLY wish people would divert their attention from daily nonsense such as Gavla's comics and look at this. This was such a well written story and the ending was great. I didn't totally get it until the end, and it had be guessing the whole way through. I am really impressed at what you did here. I feel that you can do so much with this in the future. Also, great job tying it in with LoMN.Great job, Ven. Keep it up, and I hope to see more.sig.png

I kinda have to agree. I put a lot of effort into this one, and I'd appreciate a bit more reception. Thanks a lot for the commendations, Eljay. I'm really glad you liked the comic.

Who called it!? I did.Well now I'm sad it is over, this was an excellent comic, different from anything on the forum today.I'm sure had you entered it into the actual contest you would've won.

Thanks MoC. I wanted to do something different with this comic,so it's nice to see you acknowledge that.

Excellent comic, overall, as I've told you before. The conclusion was very well done IMO, and as Eljay has stated, is extremely commendable because of the ties to LoMN. That, in itself, is a major plus for me. You should do more BIONICLE stories like this, yo.The graphics were top-notch, which, to reiterate, is no surprise. Such is the standard you've set for yourself, which is great. The story, in itself, was excellent. Plot twists aboiund left and right, straight up to the end, which is great.Fantastic comic, a shame you weren't able to enter the contest in the end.KUTGW 11/10-Mesonak

I really enjoyed planning out the story for this comic, so I may or may not do more completely BIONICLE-centered comics in the future. It's pretty new to me, but in the end, I think it came out really well. And hey, I love plot twists. They're my thing.Glad you enjoyed the comic, Meso.

This is very well shaped out. I loved the storyline, characters, and location! My favorite had to be the time when Runii was grinning.Where'd you come up with the name Runii, anyway?

Thank you! It took me some time to re-familiarize myself with Metru-Nui and the locations.(finding and making Metru-Nui backgrounds was a really large hassle)I got the name "Runii" from my childhood, when I made my first custom Toa (a Toa-Metru ironically) and the name I came up for was...Well, yeah. Runi. It just randomly popped in my head at the time, I guess. So I just added another ' i ' to it, and there we go.-V-
  11. Geez, guys, is it really necessary for a Blog Leader and a Reference Master to publicly argue in a topic? If you want to continue tearing each other into pieces, carry this over to a personal conversation, okay? And anyway, DV, I recommend you react a bit more calm.

There is nothing wrong with staff members publicly disagreeing, and when one is spreading misinformation, it is necessary to correct them. Also, I am plenty calm, thank you very much Gata. Italics and capitlization are tools of rhetoric, not signs of emotional argumentation.
Not to get involved in any argument or whatever, but when you say that someone is frustrating you in a previous post, it kind of implies that, well, you know, you're feeling frustrated. Which is a sign of emotional distress. I also want to put out that I disagree with your previous statements against Bonesii. He hasn't spread any sort of misinformation at all, rather he just stated that the earlier discussion has been discussed and concluded before- and it has, and it doesn't really need to be brought up again here.Only reason I'm speaking up is to put in an average member's two cents in a staff conflict. Now, back on topic, I'd prefer BZP's name to stay the way it is currently, just for three reasons.1. HFZP doesn't sound as tasteful. :P2. It sort of labels our community. We've been known as BZP and always should be.3. BIONICLE is still discussed as a primary subject.-V-
  12. Happy Thursday everyone.Part 11 and Part 12 of 12 are up.Part 12 is linked as the epilogue of the comic. The mystery ends here, so I'd appreciate some more feedback on the most time consuming comic I've ever made.I put a ton of effort into it, and I thank you all for taking the time to read and post.-V-

  13. @Mera: Yeah, it's been a while. Welcome back. Past is the past.@Eljay: I'm glad you're so impressed with the comic. It really did turn out to be the hardest I've worked on a comic to date.I really appreciate the compliments and feedback.I was busy all day yesterday and couldn't update with another part. But I guess I kind of justified that by updating with two parts on Saturday. =PSo here's part 8 of 12.-V-

  14. Thanks, Maphrox. Part 6 of 12 is up.As a quick note, I spent 12 hours straight on the next six partsbefore missing the deadline for the contest. For this, I grew a headache that night, and I decided to finally add speech bubbles the next day, and finish the comic anyway.-V-

  15. Thanks, guys. The graphics took a beating out of me to do,especially in the last 12 hours straight that I worked on half of this comic.Part 4 of 12 is up. May be the least graphically pleasing, but here's an advancement in the plot.-V-

  16. The Metru-Nui backgrounds were a pain to put together, so apologies for the low quality in that first panel.Part 2 of 12 is up. If you think you have it figured out now, you're far from it.-V-

  17. runiilogo.pngDang. Couldn't make it to the contest.I swear if I had about one more day...Anyway, this is basically what I was going to enter into the Comics Contest #1.It is based in Metru-Nui, and has nothing to do with my main comic series, V.3.I worked too hard on this comic to let it go to waste, so, even though I missedthe deadline mid-way of wrapping some panels up, I decided to just finish it anyway.Because at the point it didn't seem to matter as much at the time, the speech bubbles probably won't look too fantastic. The comic may seem oddly paced in the beginning due to thetime frame I tried getting this comic done in.---The Comic---Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6Part 7Part 8Part 9Part 10Part 11---Epilogue---

This comic took me pretty much the entire month given to plan out a story, put together the sprites needed, plan ahead as to how the comics going to look in the end, edit lighting, edit this and that, custom sprite some things myself...And at the last minute, add the actual dialogue n stuff. The comic turned out to be 12 parts total,so I'll be posting them daily.Hope you guys enjoy it.-V-

  18. Well, it looks like I won't be making it in this contest. My comic at the moment is currently somewhat finished, though it's lacking text and dialogue to make it 100% complete.Only way I can make it now is if we get an extension of atleast one saving grace hour or so.-V-
