  1. So, I don't know if anyone has brought this up before, but I had an interesting idea. I was reading about the Kingdom alternate universe, and I saw something I had forgotten about: when Vezon passed through that universe, he saw them preparing to launch a spacecraft. Now, this obviously has some pretty huge implications on its own, as it would mean that the beings from the Matoran Universe would obviously come in contact with the people of Bara Magna and Bota Magna. But something else occurred to me: in that universe, Velika had become a Toa. Of course, when Greg wrote The Kingdom, he probably hadn't yet decided that Velika was a Great Being in disguise, and so he couldn't have taken into account the implications of him becoming a Toa. However, knowing what we know now, these facts give rise to some interesting speculation. Some things to consider: the Matoran, and all other beings of that universe, have lived out their entire lives inside the GSR, and so should theoretically not have any concept of anything beyond. For 100,000 years, their world ended at the tops of the domes; on the island of Mata Nui, they shouldn't have thought that the sky was anything different. They would have no way of knowing that outer space existed, as nobody had ever told them anything about it. The only person in the entire MU that knows about the true nature of things is Velika. Also, if events played out the way they did in this alternate universe, Velika would be in a total panic. His goal is to rule Spherus Magna, but here Mata Nui's mission has failed, and Spherus Magna is pretty much doomed. Furthermore, he has no way of ever getting off the uninhabited world of Aqua Magna to return to his loyal agents. He's completely stranded, with no way of seeing his goal through. So, this is my idea: what if the Kingdom's space program was Velika's idea? He could have used his status as one of Turaga Takanuva's prime Toa to convince people that there was a whole universe in the sky, and that they should build a craft to explore it, as a ploy to get off Aqua Magna, return to either Bara Magna or Bota Magna to see his agents, find another way to reform Spherus Magna, and then take it over. I think it makes sense. What do you guys think? Do you think that this could have occurred to Greg, and, had the story continued, we would maybe revisit this universe? I think it would have some interesting story potential.
  2. Hey, so, are these winning entries now official canon? Should they be put on BS01? EDIT: I see this question has already been asked. I gather that Greg hasn't yet read them, and all things considered, who knows when that'll happen. But, like everyone said, it's great that these stories won, though I'm pretty late to saying that. I remember, I was a freshman in high school during the submission period, and I was working on a story, but due to my struggles with OCD I was never able to finish, or really get anywhere with it. Even with the extension, I would just find myself wasting all the time I had, even though it was really important to me. I really wish I could have done it back then. Maybe I'll finish it someday.
  3. I'm international. You can look at my topic to see what I have to offer. http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/14883-trading-masks/
  4. Just so that I would have more, to make the order more worthwhile. How big are you thinking?
  5. I would just need some other random masks, it doesn't matter which ones they are.
  6. Do you do trades? I'm interested in the red Kaukau, and any of your other Kanohi, Kraata, and Kanoka.
  7. Do you do trades? I'd like the green and blue Haus, the white Pakari, and the gold Kaukau, along with maybe some others.
  8. Of the ones you have listed, I need Orange Ja, White Za, and White Yo.
  9. I can get you yellow and silver Haus for any of your Krana.
  10. How about a two yellow Haus, a gold Pakari, and a red Pakari?
  11. I tried to pm you, but it says you can't accept any new messages.
  12. Bike: That's listed under Wants. Wishful thinking on my part. Fives: For the Hunas, done. How much are you thinking for the others?
  13. Hello everyone. I am looking to complete my Kanohi collection. I can pay or trade for the masks I need. I also have a few masks I can sell. Under Wants, I will list the masks I am looking for, and under Haves, I will list the masks that I have, and can trade or sell. Wants: Hau: Green Miru: Teal Kakama: White Pakari: White Kaukau: Trans Red Trans Green Trans Orange/Brown Clear/White Gold Huna: Light Grey Lime Green Mahiki: Dark Grey Komau: Copper Ruru: Blue White Rau: Dark Grey Matatu: Red Green Black Hau Nuva: Silver Kaukau Nuva: White Silver Kakama Nuva: Blue Green White Silver Pakari Nuva: Red Blue White Silver Miru Nuva: Blue Silver Akaku Nuva: Brown Black Green Silver Vahi: Gold Krana Bo: Yellow Tan Krana Ca: Red Orange Tan Krana Ja: Lime Green Tan Black Purple Krana Su: Green Orange Light Blue Tan White Krana Vu: Blue Orange Krana Xa: Blue Tan Black White Krana Yo: Red Green Krana Za: Green Yellow Haves: Hau: Yellow x2 Red x1 Blue x1 Miru: Green x2 Pakari: Red x1 Black x3 Golden x2 Blue x1 Kakama: Silver x1 Kaukau: Trans Blue x3 Akaku: Blue x1 Huna: Orange x1 Mahiki: Orange x43 Komau: Metru Blue/Silver x1 Ruru: Trans Blue x1 Dark Grey x1 Miru Nuva: Green x3 Kakama Nuva: Brown x1 Akaku Nuva: White x1 Krana Ca: Yellow x1 Krana Vu: Red x1 Krana Bo: Purple x1 Also, my Kraata and especially my Kanoka and Krana-Kal collections are pretty sparse, so you can also offer pretty much any Kraata, Krana-Kal, or Kanoka that you'd be willing to sell or trade. I'm also happy to take any masks that I already have.
  14. Ok, I'll PM you about the TNGMs. The orange Mahikis came with the TNGMs, I don't know where the seller found them.
  15. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/A10/Kenneth/image.jpg
  16. I voted no on all of them. The Makuta are extinct (except for Miserix, who I would like to see more of), and bringing them back would be cheap and unnecessary. Velika is the obvious choice for a new villain.
  17. Oh, I forgot to put the Movie Edition Kraahkan in the picture. I'm still offering that, too.
  18. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6155884 That's the 31 Kanohi and 1 Krana in the center, 142 TNGMs and 43 orange Mahikis on the left, and the miscellaneous heads, masks, and armor on the right.
  19. I don't have much rarity-wise, but this is what I've got to offer: Orange Pakari x1 Red Pakari x2 Purple Pakari x2 Light Blue Pakari x1 Black Pakari x3 Black Pakari Nuva x1 Yellow Komau x1 Metru Blue/Silver Komau x1 Translucent Blue Kaukau x4 Translucent Blue Ruru x2 Dark Grey Ruru x1 Yellow Hau x3 Red Hau x1 Silver Hau x1 Orange Huna x1 Green Miru x2 Green Miru Nuva x2 White Akaku Nuva x1 Brown Kakama Nuva x1 Yellow Krana Ca x1 I've also got a sizeable amount of other masks from post-2003, heads, and armor that I was planning to sell, but I could throw that in, too.
  20. 142 trans neon green Mirus, 43 orange Mahikis, a Movie Edition Kraahkan, other miscellaneous masks, and possibly some money.
  21. Reboot it. Make the story stupid and shallow like Hero Factory. Have someone other than Greg write the story. Make a TV show with stupid story and dialogue and bad voice acting and relegate the books to side stories.
  22. Yes. As far as I know, I'm the only person with duplicates. I have Ja, Bo, Ca, Ca, Su, Su. If anyone has Xa, Za, Vu or Yo I'll offer that same deal : 100 TNGM. That's $1000 in eBay dollars if you get $10 each. Of course you have to go to the Post Office 100 times too. Your Xa, Za, Vu or Yo for my 100 TNGM. For the Xa I'll add a metal mask. Your Xa, Za, Vu or Yo for my 50 TNGM and my spare Ca or Su <== You still have a GPKK !! Your Ja, or BO for my 50 TNGM and a metal mask made by me. (think battle damaged) Your Ca or Su for my 50 TNGM OR a metal mask made by me. Not the best, but nice. Notice that the only way to get a GPKK from me is to trade GPKK. Your best bet, if you have a GPKK to sell is to trade it to me then sell the Ca or Su instead. For Magnetic Vorahk, whose thread I've hijacked, I'll sell you a TNGM for $1 plus shipping as an apology. That actually won't be necessary, as I made this thread to see how much I should sell mine for. I've got a bag of 143. Thank you, though!
  23. I haven't been following Hero Factory or Ninjago; so the books are side-stories now? Are they like the serials? How is the main stories delivered? The main stories for Ninjago, Hero Factory, and Legends of Chima are all told through the TV episodes. The books and graphic novels generally tell side-stories that take place in between the events of the TV episodes. They're not quite like the BIONICLE serials, since the Ninjago, Hero Factory, and Legends of Chima books tend to have the same main characters as the TV episodes, while the BIONICLE serials tended to focus on characters OTHER than those that the main story was focusing on. I think a better comparison would be certain BIONICLE books like BIONICLE Adventures #3: The Darkness Below, BIONICLE Adventures #10: Time Trap, or the various BIONICLE readers, all of which told stories that took place in between the year's primary quests. For instance, The Darkness Below takes place AFTER the Toa Metru use the Great Disks to defeat the King Root of the Morbuzakh, but BEFORE they present the Great Disks in the Coliseum and are declared outlaws. And Time Trap takes place AFTER the Visorak horde is defeated, but BEFORE the Toa Metru give up their Toa power to revive the Matoran. Interesting. So would that mean that BIONICLE would have a TV series? I personally hope not, as I was never a huge fan of the movies. They just seemed kind of off to me, because of the tone and pacing seeming kind of like they had children in mind, and the voice acting isn't really what you expect. I always preferred that the main story be told through written material.
  24. I was actually dreaming of a BIONICLE AAA RPG a few days back, and I decided, since my dream is to become a game designer, that I will make that game someday. I'll try and get the license from LEGO, hopefully get Greg Farshtey involved, and I will make it. The game will be a turn-based RPG where you play as a Toa whose element you pick at the beginning, and along the way you'll find Kanohi masks that you can equip and use in and out of battle. It will be set at some point in the 100,000 year history of the Matoran Universe, and it will have a huge open world, with the entire robot being available to explore. You'll meet younger versions of many major characters, and the moral decisions you make will affect the direction of the story (but not so much that it will contradict established canon), and the way that NPCs talk to you. There will be no predefined main story, and instead you will forge your own through your selection of sidequests, all of them feeding into one another. There will be many wild Rahi to fight, and many easter eggs to find. You'll be able to discover new lands, go on many quests that allude to the main story, and join organizations (such as the Dark Hunters). And, when you've reached 100% completion, you can go find Velika, and he'll tell you the truth about the origin of the Matoran Universe. Anyway, that's my dream BIONICLE game that I hope to make someday. What do you guys think?
