  1. Feels like the Twilight Zone.

  2. At first I thought the topic title was 'Irish Matoran'; I was hoping for some sort of Matoran leprechaun or faerie. :PI really like the sword; I never thought of putting those two together to make a more complete-looking weapon. The color scheme's a little scattered with the silver and the light gray, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do at certain times. For a little build, this is nice.
  3. I try not to view them all as lazy slobs - not in a mean way, though. I have enough trouble viewing myself as one...I guess I imagine them as their avatars; I mean it's like a book jacket, practically.
  4. I set an email alert on replies for all my MOC topics; while I'm waiting for those I just...I don't know, do things. Because I'm not really active on BZP, it's not like I sit there staring at the screen, mentally begging for someone to drop by. I just kinda put up what I have and leave it be for awhile.
  5. Pretty much my entire time on BZP is just one long absence; I just never get on often...
  6. I don't usually buy books like that, but I think I'd be willing to for Bionicle.I mean, after all, I did end up buying a lot of the reference books even though I always have access to BS01.
  7. Wow. As someone said on my giant LDD MOC, this must've really taken some patience - the fact that it's Technic, too, is a little outstanding.I like the fact that you gave it an actual windshield the most. It's nice to see those on Technic/Bionicle/HF-sized vehicles. It's also kinda hard to believe that this thing is under 1000 pieces... Nicely done!
  8. Hey thanks, bones (and you too, Taipu). I actually am planning on doing some Neo-Classic Space stuff in LDD, considering I have the capability digitally. And thanks for the criticism - some of the stuff you brought up I didn't think about before, such as the reason greebling would even be on the outside of the ship. But I can just blame it all on the Steampunks; after all, this is the first rocket ship they've ever designed and built.
  9. RSF Orbital Sailor The Philosopher's Stone (click for gallery) First spaceship I’ve really ever built; kinda sucks, but I like it.1 - First angle2 - Back shot3 - Side view4 - Front5 - Interior of the control center6 - Greebling side 1 *7 - Greebling side 2 *8 - Room 1, cargo hold9 - Room 2, bunks10 - The Royal Steam Federation11 - Main part of the ship, 112 - Main part of the ship, 213 - Observation port ***14 - Entry into the observation ports15 - Topside radar16 - Engines (with fuel tanks immediately next to them)17 - Topside airlock **18 - Topside back greebling *19 - Bottomside back greebling *20 - Airlock hold with space suits ****21 - Space suit (with light thingy flipped down)22 - Captain and crewmemberThis isn’t exactly Steampunk; I’d say it’s actually a bit more of Dieselpunk, but considering they’re going to space, I’d give them a little leeway to be a bit more futuristic than their current era.Basically the way this thing contextually works is that it explodes, launches itself into orbit, and floats around the earth a couple of times (considering it's Steampunk, the safety and well-being of the crewmembers is just an extraneous variable). The ship isn’t actually white; it’s this weird shade of light gray that’s in the LDD color palette, but I’ve never seen it before in real life, unless it’s supposed to be the NXT/Thok white…This whole ship is maybe held together by…three or four major connection points. Hence why I love building in LDD.* To be honest, I really don’t like the greebling I did on this, on the few parts that actually have it. My problem with greebling is that I’m just not experienced; my idea of the trick is just to surf through the minifig piece inventories and just pick out random pieces that look mechanical-ish would maybe work if thrown all together. My idea of good greebling is basically mechanical puke where you can’t distinguish separate pieces out of the whole cluster; I just haven’t gotten up to that point, yet.** I didn't really like this part, either; I just really wanted to do something with this design that I made, so I was all like 'Hey, airlocks.' Probably a bad move.*** The best job on the ship is getting the port that faces the earth; the worst job is the exact opposite.**** I guess I could’ve added a little something more into the latter part of the ship where the space suits and airlocks are; that rooms kinda blandishness.Anyways, enjoy or whatever.
  10. Guys, let's just remember that it's just personal opinion whether or not SS was a good or bad game...if you feel that it was good, then great, that's your opinion; if you disagree, that's great too, that's still your opinion.Just wanted to throw that out there before a flame war starts or something.
  11. I don't work in favorites - I work in the other direction, having least favorites, because almost all of the games are appealing to me.That being said, my least favorite definitely have to be Zelda II: Adventure of Link, Zelda, and Majora's Mask.Unfortunately, I have yet to play a good majority of the portable games, such as the Oracles, the Four Swords, and Link's Awakening, but I'm sure they're alright.
  12. I'm listening to it right now. Yes, it is "freaking rad". I agree wholeheartedly. My favorite song on the whole CD has to be the Ganondorf battle from the Wind Waker symphony. I really love that song, and I was a little disappointed when ZREO screwed it up (their snare drum was way in the background; it wasn't loud enough at all, and neither was the piano), but the 25th Anniversary edition really fixed it. I just wish they did the whole song through and looped it. Are we talking about the one that comes with Skyward Sword or something else? Yeah, that CD.

  14. Dude, these look amazing. Great usage of the Hau on the yellow one. I'd love to live in it.
