  1. I miss Greg but this new author seems pretty talented, so I'm eager to see what he has in store for us. Hopefully the story will help us learn more about the Protectors and the villagers, of whom we know almost nothing about currently.
  2. Man, this summer wave is pretty underwhelming. No titans, battle vehicles, or large sets of any sort. Not even a full group of bad guys (Tahu and Gali don't get to fight anyone?). I suppose I'll pick up the mask maker set, if only to get the Mask of Creation. I'll probably pass on the others though, at least until they go on clearance next year.
  3. Overall, I'm fairly impressed with the design. They clearly made an effort to incorporate of the features of the old sets. I like how they brought back the gear action function, but without sacrificing the advancements made in poseability. The ability to knock off the masks is a nice nod to the original sets. I'm not sure how much I like the armor though...I think it looks a bit too bulky, and silver may have been more appropriate than gold. I really don't like the idea of stickers or printed designs on Bionicle pieces; it's looks super tacky. That said, I'm really forward to buying Kopaka and putting him together. At 99 pieces, I think $20 is pretty reasonable for these larger Toa. I am, however, disappointed by the cheapo packaging they decided to use. Please Lego, bring back the canisters, even if it adds a couple bucks to the price!
  4. Praise Mata Nui! I had seen the rumors and alleged leaked images, but I remained skeptical. Today I came home from my last day of work before school and could not have been greeted by more joyous news in my FB news feed. THANK YOU Lego, for keeping the legend alive, and THANK YOU BZPower for staying strong through the last five years for us!!
  5. It's great that BZPower continues to be such an active site after 11 years, and I'm glad to have been around for 10 of them. Thanks Big D, for bringing us this wonderful place, and thank you to all the staff for keeping things running smoothly.
  6. Hey there Reya!I haven't been on BZP in a while, but I just had to stop by knowing that it's my 10th anniversary here! I still remember vividly that Saturday morning on March 16, 2002 when I first made my account at BZCommunity. Naturally, I'd have to say that was my favorite and most memorable moment. I still remember that date after all these years, and here I am now, ten years later (plus a few hours). It's hard to choose my next favorite moment after that, but such moments as becoming a Premier Member (May '02), winning prizes in a couple of giveaways, and entering my first BBC contest were all wonderful for me.I know BZP and Bionicle will always have a place in my heart. I'm a sophomore in college now, and I still love to listen to tunes from MNOLG- some things never get old.Cheers!
