I thought it had something to do with Dr Manhattan at first (judging by the title) but it's a well-done poem, somewhat Joycean with a very epic feel to it.

Would you mind putting that in the topic? And thanks, I love epic wording, and Mata Nui's story is one with epic potential to recall ancient myths and legends. A shame Lego fell short.

  1. ...starting to miss the title of Hip Historain. xD Oh well, it'll come back in ...90 days. Curses.

  2. "Hello, I'm Iaredios Paerkenon, and I am a Rasin Bran addict." "...That's quite a mouthful."

  5. "The emperor, though, rode on at the head of the line like a huge tower, or a pillar of fire, or some divine celestial apparition, encouraging his soldiers, telling them to continue in the same formation, building up their confidence. He added, moreover, that it was not for his own safety that he endured such travail, but for the honour and glory of Rome." - Anna Komnene about her father Alexios Komnenos, The Alexiad

Emperor Alexios Komnenos riding to battle against the mighty horde the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum, with the aid of warriors from the First Levantine Crusade (crusader generals leading from the back).

    2. 25K Now!

      25K Now!

You mean the really unsubtle Jesus metaphors, awkwardly thrown-in foreshadowing for more DCEU movies, Lex's connection to the New Gods which came out of nowhere because they cut out the scene where he communes with Steppenwolf, pulling off the Death of Superman without establishing the necessary grounding to give it its proper impact, and a general lack of thematic consistency?

I hated the DCEU Meta-Human stuff, it was rudely shoehorned in. And the entire theme was about human fear of the unknown. Some people can't handle the thought of a greater power. If you had asked me this stuff right after I saw the movie I would have a more comprehensive rebuttal; i had it all thought out. I need to see it again.

It's not the perfect movie, but i thought it was great. Can't wait to see the unrated extended director's cut.

  7. *reads profile* "While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were broken to pieces at the same time and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain, and filled the whole Earth."

That leads to a title, and that title leads to something indirectly touched upon in your profile. Can you connect the dots?

  8. =For the longest time I thought your signature pictures were pokeballs, but now I realize that it's Poland + Lithuania = Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Or at least i think so, do I get my victory cookie? :3

Don't eat 'em often but they're A+ tucker. Wouldn't count myself an enthusiast though - my consumption is far too infrequent.

I get a couple every few days; this week I've had four. And not the small ones, but huge ones like from Dexter's Lab. God bless the Southwest. xD

Mine is one I've had since birth, a little polar bear. Later, I also got a woolly mammoth and a koala. I still remember when I stained the mammoth by cracking open a glowstick and pouring the liquids on it, hoping to make the little guy glow.

I think holding ones hands behind their back is stupid. What happens if you get attacked from behind and you can't turn around easily? Thats right they'll grab ya from your arms and throw ya to the ground. I was contemplating life you arse-helmet!
