I can't seem to find a good picture of Emperor Manuel Komnenos. Oh well, at least I made a pimpin' take on his parents.

There is a typo in your name. No wait, make that a plural.

With there going to be a Star Wars movie each year now, is anyone else afraid that the magic will vanish and it will become tiresome, like Marvel movies?

Personal theory of mine: What the other movies had was more cosmic conflict that is rooted in the legends and myths that inspired Star Wars. The Force Awakens just feels shallow compared to the previous six. It makes no apparent call back to stories that touch the heart, instead it is self-referential, being Star Wars and harking back to Star Wars.

How is it that I have one more star then you? I don't understand.

Nice signature! It takes me back to my early years here on BZPower, back when I called myself RC15O5. Thanks for the nostalgia.

For some reason, I have an itch to watch a movie adaptation of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. I keep having the quote from the play I have in my quote section playing through my head... This should sate my itch for the time being.

"Well we know better now, don't we? That devils don't come from Heck beneath us. No, they come from the sky..."

You mean the really unsubtle Jesus metaphors, awkwardly thrown-in foreshadowing for more DCEU movies, Lex's connection to the New Gods which came out of nowhere because they cut out the scene where he communes with Steppenwolf, pulling off the Death of Superman without establishing the necessary grounding to give it its proper impact, and a general lack of thematic consistency?
-
I hated the DCEU Meta-Human stuff, it was rudely shoehorned in. And the entire theme was about human fear of the unknown. Some people can't handle the thought of a greater power. If you had asked me this stuff right after I saw the movie I would have a more comprehensive rebuttal; i had it all thought out. I need to see it again.

The day is closing, and I feel I need to come out and say something I've been needing to say for a while. ...I like coffee. No, I love it. Everything bad I've ever said about coffee, was a way to strengthen myself and my feelings. Well, I don't need to hide anymore! I AM AN AVID COFFEE DRINKER!!

Love the quote in your sig. I wish I could shake Lewis's hand.

Hey, welcome to BZPower! Hope you enjoy your new home.

Wouldn't be the first time I've confronted authority. Once got into an argument with my grandfather, and he couldn't win so he just kept yelling louder. I just stood there, scared stiff underneath, but visibly calm and responded as such, which only infuriated him more. Funny, that I don't remember what the whole thing was about, only the experience itself. I think I gained more respect from him after that.

Happy Resurrection Day!

Happy Good Friday! God bless you all.

I think I want to learn to play an ethnic lyre. Maybe something Greek, or Persian.

Is that Emperor Zurg from the Buzz Lightyear Animated Series? I loved that show! (I love cartoons)

While I enjoy Carolus Rex and the eponymous King Charles 12th of the Swedish Empire makes for an epic read, the only two things that and Bach have in common is that they both lived around the same time and they lived on the same continent. While one made great music and met powerful rulers, the other spent his entire life, from 15 years of age until death, fighting in never-ending warfare, the Great Northern War, and used superior brainwashed soldiers called the Caroleans.

I have thus been rechristianed. I hope I do not regret it and tire of it any time soon.

Smells like meat... rotten meat!

Small rant: Why do people capitalize the word 'gods'? People capitalize the word god when referring to the powerful, sentient being of the Judeo-Christian spirituality because it is a title in place of a name (which you capitalize), not some member of a race or species. We don't capitalize 'humans', 'cats' or 'ducks' all the time, do we? The English Language isn't Wookiepedia. I just feel like it's passive-agressive wording.

*reads profile* "While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were broken to pieces at the same time and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain, and filled the whole Earth."

Whenever I see your name at the bottom of the page, i can't help but think that you area Google-Bot.

Chinese eh? I'm of English, Prussian, and Comanche descent. Chinese have an interesting history, moreso than Japan TBH.

Got three soundtracks. Star Trek (reboot) was boring except for a part of a single song, The Matrix had one good song, while 300 will permanately be part of my library.
