Dude, did you know that Higurashi was made by a doujin group?! it seems there are only three members, one of which has died. And doujin games are projects from no-namers, who present stuff at conventions. So they must be lucky for having it as a anime.

Yeah, the reason why Keiichi (I assume you've seen the first arc) acts like the way he was in the first episode is explained in the later ones (ep 22-26), and the explanation is pretty good, not an a**pull.

Ya rally. Its good too know another person here like Higurashi. I read some of the manga, and it sticks decently, and I try hard to ignore all the Harem stuff. But its still good and legit.

Just a PS3. I don't have an xbox because only 1 or 2 games interest me. Why buy a console just for exclusives? I also find the PSN community a bit more mature than the xbox community. not by a lot, but it counts. Except for the screechers. they need to be punched in the throat.
