  1. What shelf stocking method? My Targets are horrendously understocked.Well, since I've been gone, I've managed to score a single Vehicon, Kup, Rumble, Voyager Dreadwing, and Masterpiece Thundercracker. Vehicon is so amazing and everyone should own at least one. Kup is... Kup is kinda like Knockout in that he's almost kinda-good, but also kinda isn't. Rumble is like Dead End in being totally unassumingly awesome. Dreadwing is not as perfect as I would've liked, but he is nonetheless an incredibly cool toy. TC is my favorite of my MP Seeker trio. The MP-11 remold is extremely superior to the original.Anybody see the news on Beast Hunters? Predaking looks awesome. I'm hoping the show finally gets some sort of actual ongoing plot aside from MacGuffin of the Week. That Silas episode was one of the worst of the entire show, and TFP has yet to recover from that in my mind.
  2. Flashback, at least from what we've seen. That preview tried to play it up as Cliffjumper coming back to life, but Starscream's lack of a scar and position of command on the Nemesis gives it away as occurring pre-"Darkness Rising".Unless it turns out at the end that Cliffjumper does come back, but that's speculation. Besides, "when a character is dead, they stay dead."
  3. Actually, I'm more thinking it was done as a "retool" for the sake of the animation model itself. Those CGI models cost a truckload of money, so I'd say it's cheaper and easier to just use the Megatron model as a template for Shockwave instead of creating an entirely new design.Plus, for the toy to even work it'd need very extensive retooling to the point where it wouldn't be all that more expensive to just make a new mold.
  4. Finding the crown in Starcream's level is pretty awesome.I beat the campaign yesterday. Pretty awesome, definitely superior to WFC in terms of story and gameplay. I found Grimlock's level to gat rather tedious after a while, though. And I wish you could do more as Soundwave and Starscream, but this seemed very much like a story > gameplay kind of game, which is alright. Now, to hit the multiplayer... (I'm Stryker055 on XBL, if anyone wants to play.)
  5. Well, I caved and bought it today. Made it to Jazz's level (where you're in Shockwave's house) before I had to quit. I'm really enjoying it so far. It's just challenging enough without being too easy, and everything just seems like a step up from WFC. I especially like Jazz and Cliffjumper's interactions.
  6. Come on, guys... don't let the thread die.Who all's getting FOC tomorrow?
  7. "Everybody's Changing" (Keane) has always stood out to me. I don't adapt well to change, especially when the things that are changing are things very close to me, so that song still strikes a bit of an emotional chord. Also, basically anything by Coldplay.
  8. Silly Karen Traviss. What are you doing on BZPower?I'm with TNG Prime on the CN shows. They're just repulsive to me.
  9. Nope. Greg got caught up in other business, not the least of which including raising a child. Thus, he probably chose to focus on doing things that he actually gets paid for rather than writing free media for a small, clinging fanbase. There's always a chance it'll return, yeah, but it's overwhelmingly unlikely that we'll ever see a proper, "canon" conclusion to Bionicle.
  10. I caved and bought FOC Jazz and Optimus. I'm so weak.Seriously, though, they're not bad figures at all. Just, y'know, not ideally worth $15.
  11. I'm not wasting my money on Airachnid. I just don't understand how a toy with this horrid level of engineering could even pass for a Transformer released in 2012. It's incomprehensible. Airachnid makes RID Bumblebee look like MP-10.I'm still holding out for more Vehicons. Y'know, IF I HAD ONE.
  12. For WFC? I dunno, probably not. But even if there was, I'd say it's completely inactive by now. I'm pretty sure there isn't one for FOC, either.
  13. I'm pretty sure Johnny Test is universally hated.Pretty much everything on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon that isn't Star Wars: The Clone Wars or Avatar: The Legend of Korra ranges from mediocre to terrible, with a few passable things here and there.
  14. If breaking Batman's back was an act that so hugely relied the comic backstory and character of Bane, then I would agree with you. But, for all intents and purposes, breaking Batman's back is the core of Bane's character. That's what he's known for.Besides, this Bane is not the Bane from the comics. It's an original reimagining of the character, same as Scarecrow and even The Joker, to a degree. I fail to see the problem in doing something original with the character, really.
  15. Offended from what? Bane is from a fictional Caribbean island, there's no social stigmas about wrestling masks and Caribbean people, at least not that I'm aware of. Bane's mask is the most recognizable part of his appearance (well besides the HUGE BODY), and removing it for some lame respirator was pointless. And the whole "wouldn't have contributed to the storytelling" comment doesn't make any sense to me, at all. His jacket doesn't contribute to the storytelling.Even disregarding that, the biggest issue is that Nolan completely changed Bane's back story, including removing what makes Bane, well, Bane. Venom not only gave Bane his huge appearance but is also the primary driving factor of his character. Nolan's Bane shares no similarities with the real Bane. He just made up his own villain and slapped a pre-existing name on it.Also, I really hated how Bane broke Batman's spine, BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY DONE. You can only do something like that once, then it completely loses it's wow factor. )I honestly didn't expect Nolan to copy it, I thought he was better than that.) Then again most people don't know anything about Batman other than what was in the Nolan films. :IIt really upsets me how so many people praise the movie, because it really was just an OK movie, and a terrible Batman movie. Not only did it completely disregard an established character so Nolan could do what he wanted, it was barely even about Bruce/Batman.It should've been called Some-Cop-That-Doesn't-Matter-at-All Rises. On the bright side, Catwoman was well written and I was pleasantly surprised by Anne Hathaway's performance, even though her character was completely pointless in the movie.I would just like to point out that you're criticizing Nolan Bane for not being enough like comic Bane, yet at the same time criticizing Nolan Bane for doing the same thing comic Bane is famous for.
  16. The "Elite" heads are just the main characters for the class (Bumblebee, Optimus, Megatron, and Starscream) with different crowns. While it's great for Starscream, it doesn't really make sense for the others. Huge missed opportunity to include a Grimlock head with his Marvel G1/Masterpiece crown. As for class, I hit the level cap first with Titan, oddly enough. I hated the Soldier/Tank/whatever class in WFC, but it's pretty great in FOC. It's really not as fun when you've only got the preset weapons with no abilities, but I'm sure I'll warm up to it in the game proper.
  17. After looking through all the perks and abilities that will be unlocked (including grenades!), I think FOC's multiplayer will be a lot better of an experience when the actual game comes out. Not to mention High Moon seems really good about fixing minor glitches and flaws, so I have relatively high hopes for this game.
  18. Jelly level: Supreme. You lucky person, you. The demo came out a few days ago for Xbox360 and Ps3. Not sure about PC, though. Haven't heard anything about it yet.
  19. I really don't understand why they omitted things like double jump, grenades, killstreak abilities, secondary abilities... I mean, it's not like it kills the multiplayer for me, it just feels like it's a bit unfinished and a bit of a step back from WFC. The customization definitely delivers, though, with the exception of the horrible color options (much worse than WFC, I think). I particularly like the crazy head choices (crowned Optimus and Bumblebee? lolwut).I haven't played through the two campaign missions in the demo yet, and I probably won't in favor of playing them in the game itself.
  20. Personally, I just abhor Magno's artwork. It was better there than in Nefarious, but that's not saying much at all.
  21. Trust me, Rising Storm is not worth reading. Just read the summaries on the TFWiki. You want good Movierverse comics? Read Reign of Starscream or Foundation. The latter is what can only be described as miraculous in terms of continuity.
  22. Considering the markups other stores seem to be getting, TRU's $14.99 is looking to be among the cheapest.
