  1. going by my signature's checklist, 221 sets i had a list sitting around my old laptop with all the sets i still need, but i can't find it at the moment
  2. the game saves every time you enter a loading screen. this has the side effect that any map that won't load (like the cave next to Kapura, "PZZL") will result in a softlock. and yeah, those issues are normal, this was a work-in-progress snapshot of the game. quite a lot of issues with the game have been fixed with the launcher you can get from the game's page on BMP; that said, a couple levels like Gali still have a few issues that impede game progression.
  3. have you tried the fix offered on the download page?
  4. i'd like to chime in that Vahkiti from our group has gotten both the much-higher-res Tech Demo onua (onua_old in the files) as well as the higher-res RedQuark onua working in LoMN. (the better animations from RedQuark's onua have been backported to some of the other toa as well)
  5. Just tried that one too; no better success, I'm afraid. My computer seems convinced that the patch file "contains a virus or malware" and is giving me trouble with downloading it from there. Do you know if that's just the nature of the patch's filetype, or is there really something potentially harmful in it? I know AVG can be rather... overzealous sometimes; but without knowing enough about the reason for the warning, I'm reluctant to bypass it in case there really is a risk ^^; it's an unverified executable that modifies another unverified executable - this is why it gets flagged as a risky program. there's dozens of people on the discord server who can vouch for its integrity, though i personally opt to patch the W10 and zbuffer fixes in myself (mainly because i want as little game content changed or fixed as possible, for documentation purposes).
  6. you can just delete what you don't want to quote in the post editor anyhow, i'd describe home console Heroes as a decent celebration of the series? dang near every major character gets some representation, it has that early Tt Lego game charm, though the base gameplay is rather lackluster and while there are some good tracks, don't think for one second that you won't be listening to the Hero Mode song for at least half of your playtime. i had the wii version, and yes it used wiimote pointing controls a la metroid prime 3/trilogy. honestly wasn't that bad. biggest complaint i have is that it gave me headaches.
  7. DirectX viewer works, but doesn't load materials as they're a bunch of folders away:
  8. yeah roshi's pretty jacked but yeah onua's almost always been a bit shorter, right? and even without his pakari he's still stronger than the other toa, right? i think swol dorf is the only option here.
  9. i got mine rather early in 2004 and they all had the cards advertising the gold kanoka (among a couple other things)
  10. i was part of Brickmaster from the start up till the end of g1, the only bionicle sets were Klakk and Click iirc
  11. my collection status is already outlined in my sig, but to clarify, i'm missing huki, jala, kongu, maku, and the nui rama from 2001, and i'd really like the Power Pack as well.. and i got my manas set used, and it was incomplete. 2002 is only missing the Bahrag in 2006, i'm missing four of the voyatoran plus umbra? AND GOOD GUY 2008 is missing Krika and Tahu! D: and of the 2010 Stars sets, i still need Tahu, Piraka, and Rahkshi. and as for gen 2, i'm missing Ikir, Tahu, Gali, Lewa, Ekimu, the three Beasts, Umurak.. possibly Terak and Pohatu? i don't quite remember.. i'd really like to finish collecting them at some point, but i know once that happens i'll be wanting to get all the kanohi and krana and kraata and discs and etc... and that's a slippery slope i already have trouble keeping myself from overcollecting SEGA hardware, lol
  12. i second planetperson's post, back in 01/02 it was just the island of Mata Nui. the robot itself is just referred to as Mata Nui in the Faber Files posts for the old stuff
  13. well, Kahgarak was a combiner that ended up in two of the playsets at a varying size! my favourite titan would probably be either Brutaka, Kardas Dragon, or Maxilos... i'm thinking for Brutaka and Maxilos they could be some variant of the old Technic Figures (from CyberSlam and such) since that scale's roughly accurate, and kardas would probably be some small technic-built figure like the Tower of Toa playset's kahgarak, but a little bigger
  14. oh, i had the Tahu/Kopaka set back when, this must be where i remember some of this stuff from, like some toa being older or younger, or lewa being monkeylike.
