  1. To be completely honest, I don't think they would. What LEGO would have to do to ensure a G3 was successful would be to cater to the fans of G1. Make a line designed for older fans and include lore books in the sets. Even if it was just a limited run, it would almost certainly be successful because of how many of us are still obsessed with Bionicle in general.
  2. I've recently found my love of Bionicle reignited and have returned to this delightful corner of the interweb after a time away. To celebrate my return, may I introduce you to the star of a new Bionicle story I'm working on: Corros, the First and Only Toa of Acid! (Working name because I'm shite at naming things!) Ready for battle, Toa Corros does not remember where he comes from or how he came to be. All he knows is that he possesses control of an element that no other Toa has: Acid. Corros is cautious when using his power, as his powerfully corrosive acid can be dangerous to both friends and foes, and it is for this reason that he travels alone. As a Toa of Acid, Corros can create, control and absorb any acid. He is near immune to any corrosive substances, and possesses the useful skill of altering the acidity of any liquid he touches, both increasing or decreasing its corrosive-ness. Corros's element is not his only unique trait; he also bears the one and only Kanohi Juule, the Mask of Kinetics, which allows him to absorb and wield kinetic energy. This mask is always on at a low level, absorbing kinetic energy around Corros and storing it for later use. Corros can then channel this energy into his weapon strikes and physical blows, or when in grave danger, even unleash all of the stored energy in a devastating wave of force. Corros takes great advantage of his mask, using it in favor of his destructive element as often as he can and even fooling some he has come across into thinking he is a Toa of Kinetics, equally unheard of but without the negative connotations that Acid may bring. In battle, Corros wields his massive Titan's Battleaxe with great proficiency, making use of his mask's powers to allow him to swing it with great strength and imbuing the edges of its blades with his acidic power to ensure his enemies are rendered unable to continue fighting. The smaller blade on the opposite end of the shaft grants Corros much greater versatility in battle, earning him a reputation as a foe most don't want to cross when all of his skills are in play. More story to come (likely sporadically) as I begin the process of actually building this poor fool. Reviews and constructive criticisms are of course encouraged, as I'm a little rusty and LDD is terribly limited. Additionally, if anyone can think of a better name for a Toa of Acid, I'm open to suggestions!

  5. IC: Marda Marda laughed despite herself. She had to admit, the little Matoran had a certain sense of humor she enjoyed. "As much as I'd love to pick a Matoran out of my ceiling, I think we have more important things to deal with." she said. "So, any ideas as to where we should head first? After supplies, of course." she asked.
  6. IC: Marda Marda nodded. "Yes, thanks, but I've spent most of my time in Po-Koro. In fact..." she trailed off, looking around. "YES! There, that little bar...between the armory and the empty lot...that's my bar and inn, the Dal Riata." she said, pointing off in the direction away from them.
  7. IC: Marda Marda looked over at Farzan, and then at Cotan. Honestly, if this little squirt could help, she'd welcome it. "Alright, then. Lead the way, little man." she said.
  8. IC: Marda Marda nodded. "Yes, a store. That sounds good. I need a new cloak, for starters, and maybe a few extra supplies. Well, sweetie, shall we be on our way?" she asked, moving to the door before Cotan could answer.
  9. IC: Marda Marda glanced over at the Matoran, trying to mask her disappointment. Then she turned her gaze back to Cotan, smiling. "Right, okay then. This is going to be grand." she said, wrapping her cloak around her shoulders. A glance down, however, revealed it to be tattered beyond repair. "Karz...oh, well. I needed a new one anyway." she said, tossing it aside. "Now, my new friend. Where shall we begin?" she asked. OOC HEY DARTH DARONUS!!! Not sure what you're up to, but we're going on an adventure if you'd like to join.
  10. IC: Marda "Huh..." Marda thought about it. She had heard the name Dasaka before, but she had no idea who they were or what they were capable of. "I don't like ignorance..." she mumbled. "So if nobody needs a PI, maybe I'll do some investigating for myself." she said. She looked over at the Toa. "I've decided. I'm going to go on a fact finding mission. I've been gone too long. Things have changed too much. So I'll just have to traverse the island and reacquaint myself with its mysteries." she said, standing and grabbing her travelling cloak from a nearby stool. "Either of you boys care to join me? It's been a while since I've traveled with company." she said. Before either answered she shot Cotan a mischievous look. "Maybe you'll find out what I'm capable of." she added with a wink.
  11. IC: Marda Marda smiled. "I know how you feel. I haven't taken a job in a very long time. Nobody seems to need a private investigator in these parts anymore. , even the Dal...that's my bar, the Dal Riata...even the Dal hasn't seen much business in a while." she replied. With a sigh she looked around the room. "Sometimes I wonder if there's something else out there...another world to explore. Great Spirit, what I wouldn't give to sail to a new land." she mused.
  12. IC: Marda Marda kept her stare on the Matoran for a second longer before she looked back at the Toa. The armor knuckle swung back into her wrist, and she smiled. "Sorry about that. So, what's the situation like around here? I've been gone a while, and I feel a little out of the loop." she asked.
  13. IC: Marda Marda looked over at the Matoran giving him a look that she hoped conveyed how thoroughly unimpressed she was. "Watch your tone, little man, or the only pain you'll experience will be my fist against your...precious little invention." she said firmly, holding up her fist. A small click sounded, and a piece of armor shifted, swinging upwards to rest in front of her knuckles. The sharp edge gleamed, deadly and efficient.
  14. IC: Marda Marda's smile shifted ever-so-slightly as she shook the Toa named Cotan's hand. She was starting to see through the rush, the adrenaline fading from her system, and she realized that if this Toa had seen her faze the poor Matoran she would have some explaining to do. In he few seconds it took to shake the Toa's hand she went over the options. Faze him too, exposing herself but distracting the Toa long enough to get away? No, she found herself interested in this Toa now. Then there was option two: expose her ability and let him know that she meant business, but no harm? Maybe, but it would risk him turning against her. So, then... Option number three: Do nothing and wait for his next move. Let's go with that one. "A pleasure, Cotan." She said, pulling her hand away and watching him closely. What would he do next?
