I hate my life. There isn't a thing in the universe I'm good at except thinking, writing, and reading.

Some people try to convince me that I'm good at making comics, playing drums or keyboard, making games (using Game Maker 7.0 Pro), and some other things, but that's not true. I totally suck at them.

I have about 10 true friends in the whole entire world, including people I know only though the internet.

I'd say Vahi, Jahli, Hojirick, and Zahaki are my only true friends on this site. Who have really stuck their heads out for me. Everyone else just pretends. Except Chan'e, she doesn't pretend.

But really, I find even my good friend Gavla abandoning me sometimes, though he might not realize it.

I have over time been shown the ugly and hostile side of life, and I have never been the same since. It's now so easy to tell when someone forgets you or doesn't look out for you.

I'm lost, and nothing can change that.

---------

My favorite author is Ted Dekker, and you will probably like his books if you like Christian Fiction.

My favorite books are:
The Caleb Books (Blessed Child and A Man Called Blessed) by Ted Dekker
The Circle Trilogy (Black, Red and White) by Ted Dekker (There's actually a 4th book, Green, out in this series now, but it's not that good)
The Paradise Novels (Showdown, Saint and Sinner) by Ted Dekker
Invitation to the Game by Monica Hughes
The Books of Ember (The City of Ember, The People of Sparks, The Prophet of Yonwood and The Diamond of Darkhold) by Jeanne DuPrau
God's Smuggler by Brother Andrew (his real name is Andrew van der Bijl, but he's known as Brother Andrew in Eliglish-speaking countries)
The Darkest Age series (The Coming of Dragons, The Book of the Sword and The Circle of Stone) by A.J. Lake
The Shadow Spinner by Susan Fletcher
Hittite Warrior by Joanne Williamson
God King by Joanne Williamson

My favorite bands (not in any particular order, except I like Dream Theater the best, with Kutless in second):
Dream Theater
Kutless
Skillet
Switchfoot
Ozzy Osbourne
Fuel
7th Day Slumber

My brother and dad really like Creed and Red, though I haven't taken the time to listen to them yet.

I'm really into independant gaming, and here are some of my favorite Indie games:
Iji
An Untitled Story
Jumper
Jumper Two
Jumper Three
Cave Story
Visit
Visit II: Dark Tower
Dark709's Comics: The Game
Super Mega Awesome Dude
Seiklus
Return to Sector 9
Castle of Elite
Much, MUCH more

My favorite TV shows are:
StarGate SG-1
StarGate Atlantis
StarGate Universe
Firefly
MythBusters
Red Green
Hogan's Heroes
. . . Probably more, but I can't think of any more right now.

I can't wait for Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M to come out. The trailers are awesome, so I suggest you watch them.

If you people have any questions, please PM/comment!

_________

Song of the Week #1
A Nightmare to Remember (by Dream Theater):

A nightmare to remember
I'd never be the same
What began as laughter
So soon would turn to pain

The sky was clear and frigid
The air was thick and still
Now I'm not one to soon forget
And I bet I never will

Picture for a moment
The perfect irony
A flawless new beginning
Eclipsed by tragedy

The uninvited Stranger
Started dancing on his own
So we said goodbye to the glowing bride
And we made our way back home

Life was so simple then
We were so innocent
Father and mother
Holding each other

Without warning
Out of nowhere
Like a bullet
From the night
Crashing glass
Rubber and steel
Scorching fire
Glowing lights
Screams of terror
Pain and fear
Sounds of sirens
Smoke in my eyes
Sudden stillness
Wrapped in silence
No more screaming
No more cries

Stunned and bewildered
Cold and afraid
Torn up and broken
Frightened and dazed

Stunned and bewildered
Cold and afraid
Torn up and broken
Frightened and dazed

Lying on the table
In this unfamilliar place
I'm greeted by a stranger
A man without a face

He said "Son do you remember?
Do you even know your name?"
Then he shined a light into my eyes
and said "Take this for the pain"

Hopelessly drifting
Bathing in beautiful agony
I am endlessly falling
Lost in this wonderful misery

In peaceful sedation I lay half awake
And thought of the panic inside starts to fade
Hopelessly drifting
Bathing in beautiful agony

"Tell me does this hurt you?"
Said the faceless man
"Can you move all of your fingers?
Can you try your best to stand?"

I asked about the others
"Is everyone okay?"
He told me not to worry
As he turns and looked away

Hopelessly drifting
Bathing in beautiful agony
I am endlessly falling
Lost in this wonderful misery

In peaceful sedation I lay half awake
And thought of the panic inside starts to fade
Hopelessly drifting
Bathing in beautiful agony

Day after day and night after night
Replaying the events, did they ever see the red light?

Over and over
Scene by scene
Like a recurring nightmare
Haunting my dreams

How can you prepare
For what will happen next?
No son should ever have to see
His father's such a mess

It's a miracle he lived
It's a blessing no one died
By the grace of God above
Everyone survived

Life was so simple then
We were so innocent
It will stay with us forever
A nightmare to remember

(Whew, that was a LOT of words!)

_________

Song of the Week #2
Awake and Alive (by Skillet):

I'm at war with the world and they
Try to pull me in the dark
I struggle to find my faith
As I'm slippin' from your arms
It's getting harder to stay awake
And my strength is fading fast
You breathe into me at last

I'm awake! I'm alive!
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it's my time
I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life
Here, right now!
I'll stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I'm awake and I'm alive!

I'm at war with the word 'cause I
Ain't never gonna sell my soul
I've already made up my mind
No matter what I can't be bought or sold
When my faith is getting weak
And I feel like giving in
You breathe into me again

I'm awake! I'm alive!
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it's my time
I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life
Here, right now!
I'll stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I'm awake and I'm alive!

Waking up Waking up, Waking up Waking up
Waking up Waking up, Waking up Waking up

In the dark, I can feel you in my sleep
In your arms I feel you breathe into me
Forever hold this heart that I will give to you
Forever I will live for you!

[Guitar Solo]

I'm awake! I'm alive!
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it's my time
I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life
Here, right now!
I'll stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I'm awake and I'm alive!
Waking up Waking up, Waking up Waking up
Waking up Waking up, Waking up Waking up

_________

Song of the Week #3
In My Arms (by Plumb):

Your baby blues
So full of wonder
Your curly cues
Your contageous smile
And as I watch
You start to grow up
All I can do is hold you tight

Knowing clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Story books full of fairy tales
Of kings and queens and the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing
You'll someday see the truth from lies

Knowing clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Castles they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone
Because I will always
Always love you

Clouds will rage
And storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

_________

Song of the Weel #4
Redemption (by Switchfoot):

Four A.M., two hours to go
I'm wearing out a lonely glow
I miss you more than I can know
Here I am, here I am
Won't you keep me?

I've got my hands at redemption's side
Whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
It'll come alive, come alive

With my fist down at your feet
I was running out of mysteries
Insecure and incomplete
Here I am, here I am
Won't you get me?

I've got my hands at redemption's side
Whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
It'll come alive, come alive, alive, come alive

My fears have worn me out
My fears have worn me out
And my fears have worn me out
My fears have worn me, worn me out

I've got my hands at redemption's side
Whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
It'll come alive

I've got my hands at redemption's side
Whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
It'll come alive, come alive

_________

Song of the Weel #5:
Sacrificed Sons (by Dream Theater)
(This is my favorite song ever, btw):

[begins with samples from 9/11]

Walls are closing
Anxiously
Channel surfing
Frantically

Burning City
Smoke and fire
Planes we're certain
Faith inspired

No clues
A complete surprise
Who'll be
Coming home tonight

Heads all turning
Towards the sky
Towers crumble
Heroes die

Who would wish this on our people
And proclaim that His will be done
Scriptures they heed have misled them
All praise their Sacrificed Sons
All praise their Sacrificed Sons

Teach them
What to think and feel
Your ways
So enlightening

Words they preach
I can't relate
If God's true Love
Are acts of Hate

Who would wish this on our people
And proclaim that His will be done
Scriptures they heed have misled them
All praise their Sacrificed Sons
All praise their Sacrificed Sons

God on High
Our mistakes
Will mankind be extinct?
There's no time, time to waste
Who serves the truth
For Heavens' sake

_________

Song of the Week #6
Million Dollar Man (by Kutless):

He’s driving down a road to nowhere
The moon reflects off his spotless car
Speeding away from all he’s known
To greener grass on the other side

He’s a million dollar man
He’s got everything he wanted
But now what he wants is what he had
But he threw it all away
For a life filled with cars and rings and
everything that money can bring

Now everything is not what he thought
As guilt reaches in for all of his wrong
The profit is worthless when you’re alone
The grass isn’t greener on this lonely side

He’s a million dollar man
He’s got everything he wanted
But now what he wants is what he had
But he threw it all away
For a life filled with cars and rings and
everything that money can bring

He threw it all away
He threw it all away

He’s a million dollar man
He’s got everything he wanted
But now what he wants is what he had<br
