  1. Apparently Shadow used to be a normal element before the Makuta turned from the Light and claimed Shadow as their own. As for what you're asking, I think by lore it's not impossible but such things weren't ever written about.
  2. Thank you! Unfortunately we've had no snow, otherwise I would have taken the picture of him in it. I really enjoyed the 2015 set but like you said, it just seemed way too busy, and in my opinion used too many colors. Gray and gunmetal and white and trans-blue and gold and black and wew laddy that's a lot of colors. If I had put a little more time into this MOC it probably would have been a little more light gray, but this was done only using parts from the 2015 model. Thanks!
  3. It struck me that Kopaka 2015 looked extremely similar to his Nuva form, so I decided to strip the model down a lot and see what it would look like as a Toa Mata. It's been a really long time since I've posted an MOC, so I hope you like it!
  4. As one of the people who bought Nex 2.0 as my only large hero, I really was disappointed when he didn't return for anything after Breakout. Such a cool character, gadgets and tech! But of course he could not return.
  5. I mean, if you're a kid with no idea where to start, this guide might not be too bad. Plus really most MOCs do start with a body shell, which then has armor and masks etc. added to it. It's not as bad as you guys are thinking.
  6. I got a few pictures of it, if anyone wants some more I can provide them. -snip- Pretty sure all gold and silver Kakama (along with all the other gold and silver masks from the 2002 mask packs) are like this. It's a property of the colors they used, Yellow Flip/Flop and Silver Flip/Flop. Solid-colored when lit from in front, translucent when backlit. Great photos, though — I haven't seen a lot of photos that show off this ability quite this well. Ah well. It probably still is one of my rarest pieces. Thanks for the info!

  8. I really like it, but your nose sticking out is very funny and does not seem to fit with the rest of the mask. I know this thread is pretty old, but I was going to make a mask like that and I wanted to see how others had done it. I think when I do mine I might have to add in a nose cover. Can you see out of the mask? If so, you did a great job hiding the eyeholes.
  9. I have a Toa Iruini, and a Translucent Pearl Kakama which I'm pretty sure is the only one of its kind.
  10. Welcome to BZP
