  1. I assume you mean stone! Anyways, he isn't that bad, and I like the shoulder mounted thornax launchers, but he needs a little bit more... uniqueness. I don't like to say customization because I dislike people saying that every moc must have custom everything, but he needs to look less like pohatu.
  2. Say, has anyone found a reply from greg? if so, what page is it on?
  3. Ooh! Purists are gonna cringe at this one! Luckily, I'm not a purist! The group looks good together, but Saido is my favorite. I like that you went beyond normal placement for full armor coverage, despite it not being my style. Saido: I really see nothing to complain about, aside from that the cape seems a little high. His colorscheme is simple and effective, and that chest plating is awesome! Oras: Not quite as good as the last one, but still relatively good. His armor is kinda chunky looking, and with the theme you are going for, better leg coverage would be nice! As before, the colorscheme is nice and unbroken (aside from some of those blue pins) , and despite the custom chestplate, His chest still works out! Randas: This guy is my second favorite. Essentially the same things that are good with saido, are good with randas. My only real gripe would be that that krana looks rather weird on his crotch area! Sanuiy: Strait off the bat, I'm gonna say that I don't like the nuva chest plate bits. Aside from the arms being a little iffy, they are the only things that bother me. They just look a bit... Tacked on. As far as good things go, I like what you did with the armor on the hips, and the shins are marvelous! Overall, they could use a little work, but they honestly look good as a team!
  4. I like the head and chest, and the arms are pretty good, but I think the legs need more work. The are too stiff!
  5. '08 Phantoka Air Saber. That was da bomb. (not literally)
  6. Patiently waits for the ridiculous AMERICA comments to start appearing...
  7. Not sure! I didn't have any problems with it! Sure, it could have been less "kid oriented", and a bit less corny, but it wasn't too bad.
  8. They look wonderful as always, however I gotta say that Ehlek is a bit too stocky, but no big deal. I certainly like the whole tentacle gauntlet idea you used for kalmah, and ehlek's thumbs are lovely! oh, and is that shoulder articulation that I see?
  9. He means TV shows. Anyways, Ninjago tops them all. Atlantis wasn't really a series; it only had one or two episodes (depending on how you look at it).
  10. Do you potato, or does potato you?

    1. Art Vandelay
    2. Lemony Lepid

      Lemony Lepid

Depends, are we in soviate Russia?

    3. Aurora the cat

      Aurora the cat

      Yup, so potato you.

  11. Yeah... The lions in their fortress-temple... An army of reptilian baddies... And of course the lions themselves!
  12. Assuming you don't alter it well, or make it fit in with the rest of the moc. for example: this is a one piece modification. He went a little too far with the gloss, but looks pretty good, still. this is a full customization: http://www.flickr.com/photos/65061697@N05/6566249947/in/photolist-b1eKkZ-b1eKte-b1eKoR-aLnnoF-a9i6YA-9hYdxo-aCpNkn-apHawD-aet4iQ-amLpvd-amHyWn-apf12b-amgFpd
  13. I certainly support the creation of custom pieces. I feel that it helps give characters a unique feel that separates them from the bionicles they are made out of. This works particularly well with masks! EDIT: I don't approve of customizing parts to make the construction easier, just to make the final product look nicer.
  14. I went to the lego store today to pick up a few sets when I found this; an exclusive black evil brain piece will be released along with a few other parts in an exclusive accessory set! It will only be available at lego stores and from July 15th through July 31st! you can find the PDF here: http://stores.lego.com/en-us/ (not sure if that link is BZP legal though)
  15. I don't think that this has a big influence on children as a whole. Honestly, I think a little bit of realism won't hurt anyone. It seems to me that although many folks here are rather overreacting! It needs to happen for one, to keep lego above the water, and for two to provide some contrast to the happy go lucky smiley faces that lego has been identified with. And if you seriously thing back, Would you have gotten interested in Bionicle if Tahu and Makuta had simply settled things over a nice cup of tea? An interesting study, none-the-less.
  16. Hmm, the curiosity rover is a nice set. Needless to say, this is the third cuusoo set that has little "playset" appeal, and is furthermore a representation of an exploration device. Funny how 3 out of 4 cuusoo sets are less likely to appeal to children and more likely to appeal to AFOL's.
  17. Yes! Yes! And also the ability to choose from all tribes!
  18. Cool beanz. Perhaps not the most interesting lineup of cuusoo sets, but certainly not bad.
  19. I'm very much with most of you, '08 makuta. They could have easily trashed the Toa, had they not been ordered to restrain their powers.
  20. Ah yes, combos would be great. I think I may have gotten that glitch once. It does fix after refreshing, correct? I got that glitch teleporting into the first teleport station at the forest of falling leaves! It was weird getting beat up by all those easy to kill crocs.
  21. I always thought Ronald McDonald was a bit creepy too. I always hated it when my parents made me throw something away that was very valuable to me, but they saw as junk. I always tried to explain to them how narrow-minded they were being, but that didn't really work out too well! All the poor canisters I wish I still had... Anyways, nice find!
