  1. There's only 2 mythicals, but there's plenty of events they can do to pad out the time in between. There's an alternate form of Magearna, as well as some special Pikachus. There's a special Z-move and crystal that isn't in the game either. And the Eternal Flower Floette is still in the game files, so they may be planning on finally releasing her. Keeping something out of the game to keep it a surprise wouldn't make sense, because it's not like we're supposed to know about Marshadow either. The only reason we do is hacks. It would all be a surprise anyway if people couldn't just access all the game files.
  2. Wait, you mean you don't name your legendaries after other random Pokemon? That your Guzzlord isn't named Togepi or your Type: Null Jigglypuff? Weird.
  3. Yeah, I got a friend who had finished the game to lend me ten of them before I went to catch it.
  4. I've been really inactive on this site lately. I haven't even visited for a couple of months. Now it's December, and that's weird. It feels weird, but I guess that's just life. I got Pokemon Sun. I've been playing it. It's fun. It's been ages since I played a Pokemon game from the beginning, and it was a lot of fun. Helps that I think it was probably the best story the series has had thus far. Whole thing was really good. Enjoyed it a lot. Mechanically there's a lot of mixed feelings about this generation, but I definitely can't say the actual game wasn't enjoyable. My final team was a Primarina, midnight Lycanroc, Mareanie, Salazzle, Golisopod and of course Solgaleo. (Though of course that last one only joined my party very late in the game). First time actually using a team of six or less, so that too was fun. I've grown quite attached to this team. I finished the game last weekend, so I've been working on finishing up the dex since then. I don't like doing things in half measures much, so I was going for a living dex, and I finally completed it tonight. The final catch to complete the dex was appropriately Necrozma. And I caught it in a Beast Ball, because, as the title clearly states: a madman. I also caught Solgaleo in one so that was fun. A bunch of places had the Gen 6 games for really cheap last week with the sales, so I bought Omega Ruby. I'd been wanting to for the past, couple years, I guess, but being able to get it for 25 bucks finally made me do it. I have a lot of bred shinies I've been meaning to use, so I've been wanting to form my OR team out of those guys. Should be fun when I get around to it. Since I just finished Sun I don't know when I'm gonna want to start up OR, but I'll get to it sometime. Going back to HMs is gonna be hard, let me tell you. Anyway, that's just been me and my pokeymans. Random post but whatever.
  5. Hahaha I just noticed the topic over on those forums. The guy you quoted on that thread was actually me. (assuming, that is, that you are RG)
  6. I did. Lots of people running around with troll stuff around here in 2010 got me to check out MSPA. I started with Jail Break tho.
  7. I read the last couple of chapters, and... Honestly, whenever I pick the series back up I kind of feel like it'd be best to not go past the Fullbring arc at all.
  8. It's August 1, which means I've been on this website for 8 years! That's a lot of years. I've been on this site for more than half the time it's been around now, and that is Weird. It's weird! But hey, now I get Ackar's disembodied head. Cool stuff. Anyway, that aside, today is a significant day for other reasons. 3DS related reasons. My circle pad has been....actually, I'm just gonna paste what I wrote about this on another site. So a while ago. Don't even remember when, it was...a while ago. my 3DS's circle pad started giving me trouble. The edges of it started peeling off. Like so. And for some reason, as soon as that happened the top of it became feeling all oily and sticky. It rendered my poor handheld Literally Unplayable. Couldn't really play the games I already had, and turned me off buying any new ones. This has been going on for at least a year. But with today's Pokemon news getting me really hyped for Sun/Moon for the first time, and finally deciding I want to get that game, I became determined yet again to clean up that dang circle pad. Or at least try to replace it somehow. So I'm going at it, trying to remove whatever sticky garbage is on it, and it turns out it is the sticky garbage. For some reason having the edges fall off left the remainder of the pad as a mushy clay-like substance. Anyway, tore off all the gray stuff, leaving just the plastic base. It's inelegant and unattractive, but at least it's Literally Playable. Woohoo. Anyway, as mentioned, woohoo. Sun and Moon are looking like extremely unique games and I am so looking forward to them. The Alola forms are fantastic and I hope there are many, many of them. The new Pokemon are equally cool. And the things we're hearing about the game mechanics are also exciting. I literally couldn't care less about Z-moves or whatever, but no HMs, no gyms, lots of ridable Pokemon...hype. It's gonna be 3 years since I last got a Pokemon game, but I am definitely buying something from Gen VII. It's looking great.
  9. I love everything about this batch of news. No HMs. No gyms. Alolan Pokemon. Beautiful. All of it. Beautiful.
  10. Well I watched JtO the night it came out at like 3 in the morning or whenever that was, and then I made the thread about it, so, around here, I guess. I would have been sleeping when the announcement actually came out. But as far as when its story media actually ended, that was it.
  11. I stopped caring about the reboot a while ago, because the primary media was just unexciting and unengaging to me, so I honestly can't say to be affected in any way by this announcement. So it's ending. I guess it it. It is something of a shame though. I was looking forward to another year of the sets at least. To get the MoUP, to see where they were going with the Vahi...oh well. It was nice while it lasted.
  12. Well the second half of JtO is out now so we may as well have a dedicated topic for it. Anyway, discuss away. (remember to try to use spoiler tags at least for a little while)
  13. 2014 probably. I had hope back then.
  14. the worst part is you're right. except for 2015 i don't personally know anyone who said "oh man oldschool bionicle was so much better and the new sets are even worse than hero factory!" Man. You sure weren't looking, then.
  15. I mean, it was completely expected but the gray joint pieces really do break up the color schemes in a rather unpleasant way. Most notably on PB, the gray in the dress is just...egh, it ugly. Honestly, I would have preferred if they'd gone with clips rather than balljoints, if it could have resulted in better looking sets. They basically only have 2 points of articulation, so it's not like you're ruining them by restricting it a little more. And Jake just looks...really off to me for some reason. They don't look bad, anyway, all in all (Lady Rainicorn is particular looks really good) but I don't know if I'll be making this a day one purchase like I intended to. Guess I will see.
  16. I watched those three plus Flying Witch, Kuma Miko, AssClass and Mayoiga last season. Luluco is probably my favorite one, Kiznaiver wasn't too bad though. I kind of finished the season wishing I'd watched nothing else tho. Flying Witch and Assassination Classroom aren't bad, but I found the former unengaging and to the end I just couldn't care about AssClass. Kuma Miko was unpleasant to watch, and Sakamoto...is good. But I like the manga so much more, it basically wasn't a good use of my time. I decided to put it on hold until I finish the manga, so...well, the last volume comes out this month. Will try to get back to it. Mayoiga deserves to be executed. Is bad animeme. This season I'm watching the Danganronpas, seasons 2 of Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE and Arslan, Mob Psycho 100, 91 Days, Amanchu, (this art clubs got probs yo), Naria Girls and orange. A friend may also get me to watch Love Live Sunshine. Not sure yet. Depends on whether he believes in Amazon. We'll see.

My laptop's keyboard has been doing this: a2a2a2a2a2 on and off for a few...months? whenever I try to use the a or 2 keys. So I've been forced to use an external keyboard. I also kept dropping my mouse so I'm having to use another one since the old one pretty much died. Also my headphones are dying too so. Yeah. Adapting to new things sucks and is for chumps. I can relate. (and, full disclosure: electronics may hate me? also, gravity)
  18. Yeah, the MSRP isn't too low (though still decent), but you can find them heavily discounted pretty easily, and at least Barnes & Noble is always running some promotion or other on top of that. It's a pretty good value.
  19. There was a point, before the second season came out I think, when OreImo was on my to-watch list, but it became clear to me at some point that there was only one way a show with a title like that could go, and it was not one I cared to see. I have read about how it ended before though, and it really is about as bad as I would have expected. At this point I basically make it an habit to not even pay attention when the words "Imouto" or "Onii-chan" are in the title to anything. It is better that way. Been a while since I posted in this topic tho...already mentioned Katanagatari. I watched all of SYD over the last month, it was pretty fun. Watched some Digimon Savers, Arakawa, Suite Precure, Cowboy Bebop before that...all placing somewhere on the decent to great spectrum, so that's...good. My to-watch list is getting shorter and shorter all the time (really hoping I can finally wrap it up this year) and I really hope I don't run into another friggin' Mirai Nikki. I can only take so much garbage. Also watching like 10 shows this summer. Couple of them have started already. Haven't watched either. Finally going to finish reading Tonari-no Kaibutsu-kun first. Have reread up to volume 7, and boy do I love this manga. I've only read up to volume 9 previously, those last 4 volumes have me pretty hype. Should be fun.
  20. I mean, part of it will be the completionism, but I honestly have a soft spot for Bleach and don't really expect much from it. At the same time, I still really love Kubo Tite's art, so that's reason enough for me to press forward. It's not a priority or anything. But someday I do kinda want to complete it. Plus the boxsets they come out with are fairly cheap. Could get like 27 volumes for like 4 bucks each. Not horrible, all in all.
  21. That sounds pretty silly. And not good. Nice to have a final number though...74, huh. Would mean I'd still have to get 63 volumes. That's...a lot of volumes.
  22. Nah it's okay, I wasn't going to anyway. Incest anime are not my thing. Anyway, started Katanagatari last night. I love the length of the episodes and I've only seen two of them so far but it's an absolute blast.
  23. I'm a little surprised they're apparently keeping Togedemaru's name. One would think they'd change it to Sonichu or whatever in the process of localization. I like most of the new mons tho. Probably the new Pokemon I've liked most overall so far, though still I don't think any really jump out at me too much at this point.
