  1. My dearest comrades, I was in the smoking room of my rather luxurious home, causally examining the cranial structures of Mortrius -- His disembodied skull, at the very least -- when I received a telegram from the Sir himself; I could tell by the lettering. The postman that sent the message is now casually floating face-first up the bouldburst river on his way to meet the former holder of his position. At first I was mortified by the recent events that occurred, but I realized this was the most logical step that He could have taken. If the police find out about this they will be too late; things are already under way. With currently warm regards, Pridak Omega-san P.S. I have written the telegram below. Pray you don't misplace it. Holding off on jewels deal stop Needing to eliminate all residence of Helsmik village stop Do not fail me stop The Ghidfather~ Rules: 1. Basic Mafia rules. If you're new to Mafia, or you just need a refresher, just ask. 2. Vote switches are handed out very gingerly, so if you genuinely made a mistake, I'll allow a switch. 3. Night rounds last about 24 hours, and day rounds about 24. However, votes a little late will still be counted. 4. This has barely anything to do with the Bionicle Storyline, so no need to have a perfect history of it. 5. And don't reveal your role until after you've been eliminated. Revealing your role prematurely is asking me to boot you from the game. Village-aligned Roles: Roles assisting the safety of the village. Win by eliminating all Mafia. Villagers: You can vote each day for who you want to be killed off in an attempt to find the Mafia. Medic: A healer with rather vast powers. Each night, the Medic can protect one player from being killed. However, the Medic cannot protect himself. Detective: May investigate a player each night, and find out their role. However, He cannot reveal them to anyone else but himself. Fiddler: Can choose to risk a 3-way defense for whoever the Mafia targets via RNG (1/3 dye while saving, 1/3 fail to save, 1/3 succeed), or null from a night and have vote count as double. Mafia: Those running the murders. Win by eliminating all neutral/village roles. Pridak Omega-san: Cannot communicate with the other Mafiosi, although they all know who each other is. Instead, He immobilizes a player each round, preventing them from taking any action, even from saying they're immobilized. Mafiosi: These are the Mafia. They select a player each night to eliminate. There are five of these. Plainclothes: Hiding in plain sight, his vote counts double. He also never appears on the suspect list unless there is only 4 players left alive. Neutral Roles: Those who are not Village-aligned, yet not Mafia. Win by eliminating all Mafia. Candy Man: If targeted, he will reward his attacker with a lollipop, and reveal the identity of them to the world. He can only escape death once, however. Worm: The Worm is tied to a random Villager at the start of the game. If that role is targeted, the worm dies first. Player list: #1: ToaTimeLord, Villager - Murdered by Mafia Day 5 #2: Quisoves Potoo, Candyman - Lynched Day 1 #3: Shadowed Dallior, Mafia - Survived Day 5 #4: Lenore (Nevermore), Pridak Omega-san - Lynched Day 5 #5: Fortalpig (portal), Worm - Lynched Day 4 #6: B0ss Manducus, Villager - Murdered by Mafia Day 5 #7: Shadow FF (FF The Forgotten), Mafia - Survived Day 5 #8: fishers64, Plainclothes - Murdered by Mafia Night 3 #9: Taka Nuiva, Villager - Lynched Day 3 #10: jed1ndy, Villager - Lynched Day 2 #11: Impulsive (Pulse), Medic - Murdered Night 5 #12: #13: Jotaro Kujo (An/A Blade), Detective - Murdered by Mafia Night 2 #14: Shadow Unit#phntk#1, Mafia - Survived Day 5 #15: #-16: Voltex (ToaD), Mafia - Survived Day 5 #17: Reyn (Gengar), Fiddler - Murdered by Mafia Night 1 #18: #19: Shadow Nato, Mafia - Survived Day 5 #20: #21: Shadowhawk, Villager - Murdered Night 4 #2427135: Makuta Luroka, Mafia - Survived Day 5
  2. Welcome welcome, to the newest game on the block, yet another Mafia game! Signups are currently CLOSED, though I encourage you all to give the page a glance! Mafia: Web Of Shadows! *Wait, like the movie? No, not like the movie, this is something else entirely.* In the far-off city of BeeZeetru, civilization thrives. Tall gleaming buildings, mostly punctual public transportation, streets only half filled with forgotten trash, truly a paradise! But for every shining metropolis, a seedy underbelly forms. Seeing potential for new nesting grounds, a Visorahk queen and her brood have moved into the city, displacing the local misunderstood youths and singing-dancing misanthropes in favor of their own, Mafia-style gang. Since the failure of Metru-Nui, the insects have been trying different tactics, and this may be their most subtle. Using specialized Visorahk, empowered by the Queen herself, they hope to recruit some in the city to their ranks, twisting the unfortunate residents to their will and killing those who oppose them. *So... A sequel to the movie? No, this is different. It's not a movie, it's a game. So... An adaptation of the movie? ... Stop talking.* However, there may be unexpected opposition in the city... Exterminators, bug hunters, a pharmacy student who's studying Visorahk venom for his PhD, and a secret detective all stand in the way of the dark web. Even some, who may be a secret for now could prove to be either friend or foe to the Mafia... Roles: Each role will have certain special abilities (and some may even have their own win conditions!) unique to them, which will be explained in further detail later on in the game. Mafia-aligned roles: Queen: The head of the swarm, she makes final decision during the nights. Visorahk (x5): The grunts, these can suggest targets and plans, and each have their own abilities. Town-aligned roles: Detective: An elusive figure, he skulks around at night, searching for suspicious activity and keeping detailed notes about his findings. Med student: Knows just enough about the Visorahk venom to be able to reverse the effects in a short period of time. Bug hunters (x2): A pair of vigilantes, these two hunters will take to the streets if they have any suspicions. Exterminators (x3): Simple workmen, these trap-layers know how to proof their houses against infestations. Lookout: A nosey Nelly, this person likes to hide in the bushes and see who gets visitors. Lovebirds (x2): Just a couple of Matoran in love! Villagers (x9): Misunderstood youths and singing-dancing misanthropes. Rules: 1: All BZP rules apply. 2: No revealing roles. 3: One vote switch may be used per-person per-vote. Switches must be posted in BOLD CAPS or they will be ignored. 4: Town wins when all Mafia have been killed or jailed, Mafia wins when all of town is gone. 5: Though the roles look a bit barebones, each has a detailed secret to them, which will be revealed as the game goes on. *What, that's not a rule, it's a comment! Hush you, where was I supposed to put it?* Spots: 1: Quisoves Potoo Matoran, Killed night 2 2: Pilgrim Shadow 3: Festive Australovenator 4: Underscore 5: Shard the Gemknight Toa 6: 7: Rahkshi Guurahk ??? Left town night 3. 8: fishers64 9: xccj Matoran, lynched day 1. 10: Toa Smoke Monster 11: The Chattering Corpse Heap 12: Jed1ndy 13: Jotaro Kujo 13.1: Unit#phntk#1 14: Nik the Three -16: Dio Brando 17: Reyn 18: Noriaki Kakyoin 19: FF the Forgotten Lookout, lynched day 2 2(427135)0: Strange Festive Luroka 21: Shadowhawk 22: 23: 24: Colonel Roy Mustang 25: ShadowVezon
  3. PREVIOUSLY ON BIONICLE X NINJAGO MAFIA: A NEW CONFLICT / NINJAGO STRIKES BACK (credit to art in banner goes to TBK, may his presence on BZPower rest in peace) Worlds clashed in an epic struggle…. Five years ago, a planet warped into the sky above the World of Mafia, where it subsequently crashed into the plains of the infamous and perilous Desolation of the Staff. From this mysterious planet spewed forth alien figures and structures. They quickly spread across the globe, and all who belonged to Bionicle learned that everything on this planet somehow related to Ninjas. The survivors of the crashed planet all claimed themselves to be of ‘Ninjago’, a mystical realm filled with ninjas, robots, magic powers, and chefs. The two worlds quickly came to blows; the residents of Bionicle fearing that the legendary Bionicle Mafia was in danger, and had to be saved from the wicked Ninjago – while the residents of Ninjago feared that the last remnants of Ninjago Mafia would be squashed by its larger brethren. At first, it seemed that victory was in the hands of Bionicle, for their elite taskforce was able to easily take down the not-so-equally elite taskforce sent by Ninjago. With only a single so-called “survivor” for the Ninjago side, Bionicle was able to rest easy for two years. Ninjago was not so easily defeated, however. Three years ago, they managed to successfully infiltrate Bionicle, and then, they struck with lightning speed. It was a flawless victory on Ninjago’s part, led by none other than Sensei Wu. Little did they know at the time that a third party was taking part in events – Mr. Makuro, creator and leader of the Hero Factory. He revealed himself before Ninjago could even begin to celebrate, and so the conflicts began anew. --- For the past three years, Ninjago has been forced further and further back as they continuously try and fail to hold the line against the Hero Factory forces. Driven to desperation, they have united with what little is left of Bionicle, and together, the two lines have managed to force the conflict to a standstill; neither side has been able to advance for quite some time. Hope is on the horizon for Bionicle and Ninjago; whispers of a single, lone surviving Toa grow more common by the day. But Hero Factory’s most elite Heroes have now joined the front lines, and surviving the upcoming assault will be no easy task. Let the war begin! RULES 1-Vote changes are not permitted. 2-All BZP Rules Apply. 3-Once killed, players can no longer have an impact on the game. 4-Role revealing is not allowed. ROLES BIONICLE (Wins if Hero Factory is defeated) Matoran x9 – Ordinary players; they vote on who to execute each day. Toa x1 – Each night, this player targets four players; one to protect, one to investigate, and two to kill. This player will survive the first attempt to kill them at night or the first attempt to execute them. She can investigate a player each night to determine their role. Skylor x1 – The Amber Ninja. She can capture a player each night, protecting them from harm. Lloyd Garmadon x1 – The Golden Ninja. Targets two players for death each night, but can only kill them if they are a part of Hero Factory. Final Ninja x1 – The Final Ninja. Having survived both of the previous conflicts, the Final Ninja has grown extraordinarily resistant; they can only die if targeted for death two nights in a row, executed twice in a row, or targeted for death and lynching in the same round. HERO FACTORY (Wins if they outnumber both Bionicle and Ninjago) Mr. Makuro x1 – Has one separate kill each night; this kill will only succeed if the target is a Matoran or a Ninja. Preston Stormer x1 – If sent to kill, no suspect list will be provided. Dunkan Bulk x1 – Cannot be executed during the day as long as Preston Stormer and Jimi Stringer are alive. Jimi Stringer x1 – Can kill up to four players when sent; for each additional kill, the suspect list shrinks by one. Von Ness x1 – [FILES MISSING] Thresher x1 – When sent to kill, can also protect another member of Hero Factory from death. Zib x1 – Cannot be sent to kill. 4. by voltex & tbk Back in April of 2014, I had just finished writing an epic called Isolation, and was in the process of writing its sequel, Extraction. There were a number of new characters being introduced in the sequel, and I had an idea for a story starring them that would take place during the events of the first book as a "bridge" of sorts between the two epics. Busy as I was writing the epic, however, I did not want to delay it further by writing what I had titled Project Mayhem. So I got into contact with TBK, and asked if he would be willing to help me turn Project Mayhem into a comic instead. He enthusiastically agreed, and so we got to work. I do not know if the comic will stand up well on its own; it wasn't until Extermination where I started actively trying to make sure every entry in the series was also standalone so that newcomers could understand everything that was happening. Complicating this matter further is that Project Mayhem remains unfinished; out of what was planned to be a 6 or 7 part series, we only completed 4 before TBK vanished from BZPower last November. After more than a year, I figured that I would release what we did complete; while I do not think the writing is really up to par, I do think that TBK's art in Parts 3 and 4 deserves to be shown off. I will release each part over the next few days. --- CHARACTERS Pictured here are the various BZPower members depicted in the comic; they were all members who had signed up to be characters in Extraction. Links to their profiles are below. Vinylstep - Canis - MT - Valendale - Tyler - Hero Two other characters also appear in the comic: Kante (a police officer working alongside Canis) and Elittra (a member of Project Mayhem). --- COMICS Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four SCRIPTS Part Five & Part Six --- Every bit of art is thanks to TBK; I was responsible for the writing and such. C&C is appreciated, as this is the first time I did anything with a comic; I enjoyed it a lot and would love to do so again in the future, so feedback would be helpful. And I do apologize if nothing makes sense story-wise, but do encourage you all to check out Parts 3 and 4 when I release them, because TBK switched to a hand-drawn style and it looks really cool. I will post Part 2 tomorrow.
  5. Well, Godfather, it seems our time has come. I have finally finished my preliminary investigation. Counting your esteemed self, your two lackeys, and I there are twenty Matoran left. The Detective is still alive and to make things worse he seems to have graduated from medical school. This means he can investigate and protect at the same time, but his rusty bicycle only lets him follow one Matoran each night. Of the fifteen Matoran left, eight are utterly unremarkable and can be ignored for now. Three have armed themselves and are prepared to kill anyone with hostile intent. Another three possess impressive criminal records and might be persuaded to join us. The last one is somewhat disturbing. I cannot term this one anything other than a Maniac. Strangely enough, the Militia, Piraka, and Maniac all seem to think they are regular Matoran. This does make finding them rather hard, but I feel certain that it will prove no trouble for me. For ease of reference, I have included a condensed list of the different roles and the names of all present. I have not been able to link the two lists together, but I will update them regularly based on my investigations and current events. Insincerely, The Private Eye Role List: Mafia: (wins by killing the Town) -Godfather x1: Head of the Mafia. Should you die I will do my best to take your place. -Private Eye x1: I couldn't resist creating an entry for myself. As you know I will observe a player each night and deduce whether they are hostile, neutral, or even friendly. I am also your second-in-command and will take over should you die. Mafioso x3: A pair of rather dull brutes if you ask me. All they do is follow orders and shoot people. And stab, poison, burn alive, poke, hang, bludgeon, and occasionally electrocute. Town: (wins by killing all the Mafia) -Detective x1: A slippery fellow. My investigations have turned up nothing but a forged medical degree from a disreputable institution of higher education. But all the same I must admit his deductive skills are greater even than mine. Players he investigates are also granted temporary protection from us. If investigated by me they will show up as Hostile. -Matoran x9: Boring. These players are about as normal as it gets, except for the persecution mania. If investigated by me they will show up as Neutral. -Militia x4: Rather than react as they should and cower at a hint of danger before randomly lynching some innocent, these fools have decided to fight. They will kill any Mafia-affiliated players who try to kill them (unless the only remaining players are either Mafia or Militia). If investigated by me they will show up as Hostile. -Piraka x4: These Matoran could prove quite useful to us. Should we succeed in finding them I feel confident they will join us. If investigated by me they will show up as Friendly. -Maniac x1: An utter psychopath with selective amnesia. The Maniac can be Patriotically Insane, Criminally Insane, or Sane at any given time. While Patriotically Insane, they get an extra vote and act like Militia. While Criminally Insane, they have no vote and act like a Piraka. While Sane, they act like a normal Matoran. The delicate state of the Maniac's mind also renders investigation useless. Player List: (More spots can be added if need be) Blade - Matoran, killed Night 6. Quisoves Potoo - Mafioso, executed Day 1. Pahrak - Matoran, executed Day 7. Luroka - Militia, gone to Karzahni Day 3. Petewa - Private Investigator, won! Dragonstar - Matoran, executed Day 5. Unless betrayal is a part of your role you shouldn’t be betraying anybody. -Rounds are twenty-four hours each, but the formal deadline is whenever I post the scene. Rounds may be extended whenever necessary. -Only one vote change per Day scene. You must also list who you are switching your vote from. -This is a game, so don't take things too seriously. Discussion and debate are encouraged, but arguing is strictly prohibited. -Have fun! Failure to comply is punishable by torture.
  6. PREVIOUSLY ON BIONICLE X NINJAGO MAFIA (credit to art in banner goes to TBK, may his presence on BZPower rest in peace) WORLDS CLASHED IN AN EPIC STRUGGLE! Precisely two years ago, a planet warped into the sky above the World of Mafia and subsequently crashed into the plains of the infamous Desolation. This mysterious planet spewed forth alien figures and structures across the globe, all somehow related to ninjas. These menacing figures claimed themselves to be of ‘Ninjago’, a mystical realm filled with ninjas, robots, magic powers, and chefs. Among other things. The world of Bionicle Mafia was in danger, and had to be saved from the wicked Ninjago! Thankfully, the elite taskforce sent by Bionicle was able to easily take down the not-so-equally elite taskforce sent by Ninjago. With only a single so-called “survivor” for the Ninjago side (although really, we all know they died), Bionicle has been able to rest easy. --- So read the headlines a week ago; but it has become clear that Ninjago was not defeated, and merely awaiting the perfect chance to strike back against the Bionicle Mafia crew. Their force is smaller this time, designed for infiltrating the Bionicle ranks and performing a stealthy takedown as opposed to the even odds of their last confrontation. Deciding on some sort of poetic justice, the battleground decided for this conflict is the same town as before – not that this town has been named yet. Voltex might be a bit lazy in that regard. Let the defense / infiltration begin! --- A mysterious figure has appeared in town, and their purposes are unknown…. RULES 1-Vote changes are not permitted. 2-All BZP Rules Apply. 3-Once killed, players can no longer have an impact on the game. 4-Role revealing is not allowed. ROLES BIONICLE Matoran x12 – Regular players, who vote on who to lynch each day. Detective x1 – Investigates a player each night to determine their role. Medic x1 – Targets a player each night to protect them from death. Pyro x1 – Targets two players each night to kill; the one who dies is determined by RNG. The Shadowed One x1 – Leader of the Dark Hunters. Can swap two players each night, possibly altering targets. Dark Hunters x2 – Regular players. If the Shadowed One dies, one of these players becomes the new Shadowed One. NINJAGO Sensei Wu x1 – Leader of Ninjago. Decides who to send and who to kill each night. If sent to kill, can protect one other member of Ninjago from the lynching that round. Nya x1 – The Water Ninja. She can investigate a player each night to determine their role; if she discovers the Pyro, the Pyro is slain instantly. She is also immune to the Pyro’s fire, and as such, cannot be killed by them. Skylor x1 – The Amber Ninja. She can capture a player each night, rendering them unable to use their role ability if they have one. She is immune to the Detective, and as such, shows up as a regular Matoran to them. Lloyd Garmadon x1 – The Green Ninja. Takes command of Ninjago if Sensei Wu is killed. When sent, can kill two players during the night instead of one. Final Ninja x1 – The Final Ninja. As the only survivor of the original battle between Bionicle and Ninjago, the Final Ninja is partially immune to the lynching; they can only be slain at night or if lynched twice in a row. 7. BIONICLE WINS! (credit to art in banner goes to TBK, may his presence on BZPower rest in peace) WORLDS CLASH IN AN EPIC STRUGGLE! Precisely 26 hours, 32 minutes, and 49 seconds ago (we lost the smaller increments of time in a data loss that followed the recording, unfortunately), a planet warped into the sky above the World of Mafia and subsequently crashed into the plains of the infamous Desolation, spewing forth alien figures and structures across the globe! These menacing figures claim themselves to be of ‘Ninjago’, a mystical realm filled with ninjas, robots, magic powers, and chefs. The world of Bionicle Mafia is in danger! It must be defended from the wicked Ninjago! An elite team has been put together to defend Bionicle Mafia from the intruders, to combat an elite attacking force of the same size! The illogical decision has been made by both sides to avoid overwhelming the other with larger forces in favor of good, old-fashioned Mafia-style beatdowns is where all of you come in. You and a handful of others are the only people left to escape the ruined city Mahri Nui. 9. The island of Kraahva has cut itself off from the nearby mainland, the reason for which, being that a Mafia has begun to form itself, and the effects are devastating. Though this Mafia's ranks are few, they are growing by the minute. The only hope brought the citizens of this island of contrast being the local investigator, the identity of which is unbeknownst to the island. Although there is rumour that a vigilante has taken justice of this island into their own hands. Rules: Mafia: Each night, the Mafia may either recruit, or kill. This choice is left to the head of the Mafia, and once this choice has been made, a vote is held between the Mafia. Excluding the Head, none within the Mafia know which inhabitants of the Kraahva are Mafia, aside from themself, nor do they know what the others have voted, majority wins, Head's vote counts for double. Investigator: The Investigator may choose once per night who to investigate, and will be told whether or not who they've chosen is within the Mafia. Vigilante: The Vigilante may once per night choose who to chase down, if who they have chosen is within the Mafia, the Vigilante may either save whoever is being killed by the Mafia, or kill the Mafia they've found. Voting: Once per day, the inhabitants vote on who to hang, voting for the hanging takes place in this topic, whilst voting for the Mafia takes place through Private Messaging. When one is hanged, they must reveal in this topic, what they were, whether it was Mafia, Inhabitant, or Investigator (the Vigilante gets the freedom of saying they were an Inhabitant) Heirs: When the Mafia's Head, the Investigator, or the Vigilante is killed, their heir then takes their job, they may tell me through private message who they wish to be their heir at any point in the game before they are killed. NOTE: THE HEAD'S HEIR MUST BE CHOSEN FROM WITHIN THE MAFIA. Victory: If the entirety of the Mafia is killed, then the Inhabitants win. If there are only three players remaining, and there is still Mafia, the Mafia wins. 10. We’re back, b***** We would like to apologize for our language --- I stand looking over the Desolation, my partner beside me. The sun is one moment beating down from the sky, yet another moment gone entirely. However, we do not oversee the same plains. I know not why, nor how, but a crowd walks before me, trekking into the Desolation. But are they echoes of the past, or shades of the future? We're concerned about these fools who have entered this wasteland. What are they here for, and why do they dare walk these cursed plains? Although my partner can't see them, we are determined to find out what they are, or were, doing here. Whatever it is, hopefully they turn back. I will strive to record my visions here, that we might use them to gather information about these unfortunate souls. May the Desolation be merciful to them. Because it sure wasn't for us. Day Zero Results: None [Portalfig Logging Off] In the wake of a final battle, there are always those that are left behind. Survivors left to roam the wastelands, to pick up the pieces, to tell the stories, to share the legends, and learn the lessons. It existed only in legends, fables, and the tales of travelers driven insane by their experiences. It existed as nothing more than a phantom, a training ground for one to prove to the others that they were better, more worthy. It could have only - would have only - should have only - existed as a mere figment of imagination, as the wisps of dreams (or nightmares) resting there, foreboding, at the edge of a mind never to be forgotten. That was before Mafia. That was before the sounds of darkness, before the darkened skies, before the darkest dawn. In the wake of a final battle, there are always those that try to rig the game in their favor. Those that step on the graves with derision and those that treat the legends as simple fantasy. There are those that ignore the lessons, hear of the treasures, and believe them theirs. Those people are idiots. But in the wake of darkest days, that is what happened. They thought they could steal the Staff themselves as one whole group and rig the game. Take over everything and succeed together where three separate entities alone had failed. But the Desolation of the Staff plays by different rules, and they clearly turned upon one another. In this place, time has no meaning, and they clearly suffered for it. So here we stand, my partner and I, looking over their desolation. Our bodies forced to roam this wasteland forever, not quite alive but not quite dead. “Less than ghost” my a**. Night Zero Results: None [Voltex Logging Off] --- And now it’s time for one last bow [THE TWIST] In the Desolation, time does not work the same as it does elsewhere; events become accelerated, merging together in a frantic rush. If they try to protect a member of the Mafia, the Medic will perish instead. However, burnt records recently found seem to hint that one of the Medics might not be what they seem… Drifter x1 - This role investigates one other person each round to determine their role before also killing them; results are made public in the scene. 11. ASK ME ANYTHING!! PREMISE A small group of Matoran survived the isolation of a terrorist attack one year ago. After fighting their way out of the trap, they battled those who wished to see them dead and achieved extraction. Several of the survivors launched a rebellion - an uprising - against the White Council, who lead the city of Metru-Nui. They have been at war for nearly a year... but now they find themselves vanishing, one by one. Hunted down by a mysterious figure known as the "Shadow"... it is extermination. EXTERMINATION

PROLOGUE A Matoran with sleek black and silver armor sat at a wooden desk, staring at the lit computer screen. Checking behind him to make sure that the door was shut, he let out a small sigh and turned back to the screen, tapping the microphone perched beside the keyboard to make sure that it was functional. Satisfied, he opened his mouth and began to speak. “Journal entry one-zero-one,” he said. “Let’s recap.” “About twelve years ago, a group of thirteen beings referring to themselves as the ‘White Council’ silently took over Metru-Nui. While one of them would later be exiled, having come to see that the group was nothing but a bunch of tyrants, the others remained firm in their standing and beliefs. A resistance group was formed to combat their corrupt regime, led by four Matoran; their names were Burnmad, Xaeraz, Fighty, and Agni. For six years, the Resistance fought a guerilla war against the White Council - however, while on a mission gone terribly wrong, Xaeraz was captured. “They tortured him for an entire year, driving him absolutely mad with help from a Makuta known as Luroka. With help from insiders within the Resistance, the White Council engineered Xaeraz’s rescue; upon reaching the Resistance headquarters, Xaeraz slew both Fighty and Agni, although Burnmad managed to escape with his life intact and his role still a secret from the White Council. It was at this time that White Thirteen was exiled, and returned to his original name: Xaron. “For the next couple years, the White Council reigned supreme with little challenge; two years later, Xaeraz resurfaced, committing several acts of terrorism against the White Council. At the same time, several ‘fight clubs’ began popping up in the various Metrus, launching a long-term campaign known as ‘Operation Rainfall’. Thanks to an Onu-Matoran called Portalfig, Operation Rainfall would eventually fail; unfortunately, this meant that the White Council continued to operate unimpeded. “One year later, six Matoran were hired by the White Council to operate as a covert task force, intended to infiltrate their enemies and bring them down from the inside. Among this group were Burnmad and myself - Burnmad with the intention of striking the White Council at an opportune moment, while I had been unwittingly manipulated into joining by White One, the leader of the White Council. Shortly before I arrested a high profile ally of Xaeraz, the White Council hired me onto a secret project known as ‘Scenario Alpha’. It was a plan designed to lure every single enemy the White Council had, with the intent of eliminating them all at once. “Six months after I made the arrest and was assigned to Scenario Alpha, the White Council announced a conference to be held on BZ-Koro. To my shock, I was invited; as were several Matoran that I considered close friends. The conference was Scenario Alpha - and the White Council had branded me a foe. At the conference, Xaeraz struck with the help of several other Matoran, killing almost all of the over two hundred Matoran in attendance. I was among only twenty-three survivors. Trapped inside the building by the powers of Luroka, whom we believed to be a Matoran, we were killed off one by one, both by Xaeraz’s allies, led by Sumiki, and by popular vote. For several days, I worked alongside Ehks - who I would later learn was Xaron, the former White Thirteen - and a Su-Matoran called Pulse to bring down Xaeraz’s allies. It all culminated in a final showdown with Sumiki and Luroka, who struck me down with an attack designed to drive me mad before he and Sumiki vanished. Thanks to some very quick thinking on the part of Ehks, I survived - barely. But the damage had been done.” The Matoran paused the recording, rubbing at his eyes tiredly and glancing at the time on the computer. It was late - very late. Yet he could not wait until the morning. This recording had to be completed now; for if he was to fall, he needed to know that whoever replaced him would be brought up to speed on everything that had happened. Everything that he - and others - had experienced. With a sigh, he began to speak once more. “Less than ten of us escaped that conference - in addition to myself, there was Ehks, Pulse, Lhikevikk, Portalfig, TBK, Locke, and Kayn. While Sumiki and Luroka had also survived, we did not know their whereabouts. When we left the conference hall and stepped outside at last, an extraction team was waiting for us. Burnmad had heard about the situation and lead three other Matoran to BZ-Koro to save us; unfortunately, he was already too late. “Our rides off of the island exploded, leaving us stranded - and then Matoran loyal to the White Council began to pick us off one by one. Locke was the first to fall, a deadly poison causing him to drown in his own blood. I fought against a mysterious Pyro and Cryo alongside a De-Matoran named Canis, and was handed control of BZ-Koro when its mayor was assassinated. While Burnmad and Ehks managed the rest of the group, I led a team across the city, hoping to get information from a Ko-Matoran named Valendale currently imprisoned in the BZ-Koro jail. Half of my team was killed on the way, and the rest were forced to return back to base, injured. I alone reached Valendale, and I alone entered the main headquarters of a group known as Project Mayhem. “There I met with Xaeraz, and joined forces with Project Mayhem. We created an army - the forces of Project Mayhem and BZ-Koro combined. As a team, we trekked back to base, where the rest of the survivors of the conference waited; there, Ehks was slain by the treacherous Squishy, and a servant of the White Council only known as ‘Agent 64’ attempted to slay me, although the intervention of an Av-Matoran known as MT saved my life at the last second. Before we could determine the identities of the other traitors in our group, several airships of soldiers led by White Ten arrived, with the intent of either apprehending or killing us. During the battle, Xaeraz’s tortured conditioning caused him to turn traitor, and he was killed by Burnmad; while the rest fought the soldiers, I fought White Ten in the sky, eventually slaying him. “After the battle, I had Burnmad lead almost all of the others back to Metru-Nui, to organise those who disliked the White Council and build us an army. I remained behind on BZ-Koro with Valendale and a De-Matoran known as Vinylstep to try out an invention of Ehks’s designed to revive the dead. While it was unsuccessful, we did find two Matoran in the conference hall - Shadowhawk and JiMing - actually still barely alive, and awoke them. It was then that Fighty revealed himself to me, and helped me to understand many things. “The Fighty I spoke to explained that he was from a different dimension, where the White Council had achieved victory and taken control of the entire universe. He had managed to travel to our dimension and found his counterpart, planting the idea of the Resistance. Unfortunately, when his counterpart was killed, the Fighty I spoke to was forced to disappear, or risk being captured by the White Council. However, he told me that the time had come to take the battle to the White Council once and for all, before they could complete the construction of their ultimate weapon. Together with Fighty and Burnmad, I led our forces in a strike on BZ-Metru, seizing it as our base of operations in Metru-Nui. “That was eleven months ago - and for almost a year now, we have been at war. We have lost many allies along the way, lost several close friends; since the battle with White Ten, Canis was assassinated by Agent 64. Baltarc was ripped apart by three Matoran that our forces - and the White Council - have dubbed as the ‘Triplets’. MT was taken prisoner and publicly executed by White Four; his body has been displayed within the Coliseum ever since as a ‘lesson’ to those who wish to disobey the Council. Valendale fell while duelling with White Five personally; unfortunately, White Five managed to escape alive. And… perhaps what hit both Portalfig and I the hardest… Lhikevikk died at the hands of a new series of Vahki. Officially, they are the ‘Vahki 2.0’ series; however, they have come to be known as the ‘Dread’. Advanced over the originals in every way and designed specifically for war, the Dread are terrifying to meet on the battlefield. Portalfig, Lhikevikk and I had managed to stick together and survive everything since the conference; and it took only seconds for a Dread to spear Lhikevikk through his heartlight. “Despite these losses, we have made some significant ground as well; in addition to our acquisitions of BZ-Koro and BZ-Metru, we have managed to take control of both Ta-Metru and Ga-Metru as well. Ta-Metru has always been at the bottom of the barrel to the White Council, and it was easy for us to take; Ga-Metru was easily won over after the White Council bombed the Great Temple. We have also made significant headway into Le-Metru, although thanks to the Dread we have recently been meeting significant resistance. And, as much as I am loathe to admit it, our numbers are beginning to fall. Recruitment is down, and the White Council is beginning to pull in their allies from other regions. If we cannot strike them down now, it may soon be too late. “In a few hours, I leave to lead a small team of only three Matoran, including myself, to try and infiltrate the Coliseum. If we are successful, we may be able to win this war within the week. If we are not… well, I doubt I shall survive to see another sunrise. “This is Voltex Oblige, signing off.” To Be Continued. 13. You've all seen how badly villages fare against their opponents as of late. Instead of, well, getting anything right, they turn against each other, lynch the obviously innocent, kill their most important people, as if they were acting out a play for the entertainment of the Mafia that hounded them. As a result, we have concluded one thing: villages are dumb, perhaps more so than we think. This is also why we have plucked five different tribes of Mafia from their home islands and dropped them on one much smaller, uninhabited island without any villages. Five different tribes of Mafia, all bloodthirsty, or at least we hope so... now we get to see what happens when there is no village around to mess things up for itself! Perhaps we will see a bloodbath. Perhaps we will see things go catastrophically wrong. Perhaps the island will sink in a sea of blood. Perhaps you will die. Perhaps I will die. Perhaps we will stop beginning sentences with perhaps. So, without further ado, we present to you... BIONICLE MAFIA: FIVE FACTION FACE OFF Rules: No Screenshots. No Betrayals, especially not dramatic ones.I reiterate: NO BETRAYING YOUR FACTION.Dead people cannot help the living. You can reveal your own role, but not those of others in your faction.Roles: There are five tribes of Mafia - Ice, Water, Jungle, Earth, and Fire, each with five members. The roles making up one of the five tribes of Mafia is as follows: 1x Leader - This member leads their Mafia, and decides who is sent to kill. 1x Bodyguard - This member can protect a member of their faction each night. 1x Spy - This member can investigate the murder of a previous night to get a 'suspect list'. 1x Diplomat - This member's vote counts for twice as much, and they will become leader if their Mafia's leader is killed. 1x Unique Role - a role unique to the faction. Detailed below. Unique Roles 1x Wraith - Unique role of the Ice Mafia. Once killed, this role can kill one person each night. However, they cannot vote or be sent to kill. 1x Orator - Unique role of the Water Mafia. Their votes count as three as opposed to one. 1x Alchemist - Unique role of the Jungle Mafia. They may poison someone so that they die during the day, blocking any Spy's attempts at receiving a suspect list. 1x Necromancer - Unique role of the Earth Mafia. They may sacrifice themselves to resurrect three people to help their own faction. 1x Emulator - Unique role of the Fire Mafia. They may copy the abilities of their fellow tribesmembers for one night and one day There are also legends of three two neutral roles... Neutral Roles 1x Trickster - The Trickster can switch the target of a murder. Additionally, once and only once, they can 'flip the votes' so that the people with the highest amount of votes live and the ones with the lowest amount die. 1x The RNG - The RNG Itself can target a player like any killing role, but with a twist: they give the target a choice of five numbers. The RNG denotes what the correct number is, and if their target picks the correct number, they live. If they don't, they die. Additionally, they may inverse it so that if their target picks the correct number, they die, and if they don't, they live. Things That Should Be Known The only suspect list is the one provided by your faction's spy.24 hour rounds. FFFO: Thoughts

Well, FFFO just ended. I hope that wasn't as much of a trainwreck as my last game. Might as well post my own thoughts Interesting thing: everybody died at least once. Lasted five nights and four days. Best nights were the ones where 4 or more people died. You all killed my favourite role the first night, the Trickster. Second favourite role was the Wraith, probably because it was the first role I created for the game. Day rounds seemed to go much slower than nights. Day rounds in general didn't really fit the game. When everybody is Mafia it turns out there's not much incentive to vote. Would remove diplomats if I did FFFO again. Similarly, not much use for suspect lists. Spies could be better served by acting as detectives instead of getting a suspect list. Didn't feel that much of a trainwreck to me, but I was the host so of course I'm biased. Fire Mafia and Ice Mafia were the first to go, followed by the Jungle and Water Mafias. After nearly being eliminated the Earth Mafia won the game.

    Two Things

Two things: 1. Changed my BZP name. I did say it'd become something along these lines eventually. 2. There are two spots left in BIONICLE MAFIA: Five Faction Face Off! Two more people and we can begin.
  16. PHASE ONE In the aftermath of The Voltex Constant, the sinister Makuta Luroka, head of the organization known as MOPE, hatched a wicked plan to raise an army of mafia to conquer all of BZPower. To that end, he devised a wicked set of numbers which, if used properly, brainwash innocent people and turn them into bloodthirsty murderers! These numbers, known only to Luroka, cannot under any circumstances be released to the world! My friends, welcome to: Rounds last 24 hours. Dead players may not reveal gathered information. Betraying your team is discouraged. Suddenly, there was a crack in the sky, and from it emerged a massive round object, easily the size of the Coliseum. From it, life was returned to the fallen bodies of Portalfig, Taka Nuvia, Blade, Seaborgium, Unit, ToaD, Underscore, and Voxumo. Just as all had begun to question why they were alive again, they were all teleported inside the metal sphere. Luroka spoke: "You are aboard the Black Star, my personal space station." Soon after, everyone was transported into one of two large chambers with several smaller rooms inside, one colored white, and the other black. Then, everyone heard Luroka's voice once more: "Let the real games begin." Roles: Black Room: Mafia x2Detective x1 Matoran x4 White Room: Mafia x2Medic x1Matoran x4 Player List: Black Room: 1. 17. BIONICLE MAFIA: The Sinful Fifteen Welcome, my brothers, to my sad tale of woe, one that I hope will serve as a warning for those that still live. For our foolishness is something I would not wish upon anyone. We were consumed with greed, ambition, and other selfish desires. Unable to ever rally together and stand up to the evils both within and without. Perhaps that is why were always the target of those consumed with rage and bloodlust, for what easier target is there than those who can never unite. Apologies, I got ahead of myself without even bothering to introduce myself. I’m a simple observer one who has seen our foolishness increase through many long and bloody battles, if you must call me by a name then call me the Watcher. For all I ever do is watch and listen. Time and time again I have seen the mafia tear us apart from within, hysteria and paranoia would run rampant and in the height of our naiveté we developed a system. The mafia were creatures of the night so we became fighters of the day. Every day we would band together and vote. Trying to decipher which of our neighbors was the culprit of the heinous crime. As you might expect, this did not end well and all too often we found ourselves prone to committing even more atrocities. It didn’t matter what we did. Suspect lists, Lloyds, even the slaughtering of the null family, none of it prevented our ambitions from killing each other. So we ran, from village to village, leaving only carcasses in our wake. I don’t know what possessed us to think that this time would be any different. For while it may have been peaceful for a few short years, the mafia soon chased us down, followed shortly thereafter by more mysterious characters. Some came to our aid and others to enjoy and partake in madness. However our greatest threat was one entirely of our own making. A vengeful being determined to avenge its family for we were the sinners who had killed them. I am the Watcher and I saw how the sinful fifteen acted out another saga of bloodshed. Small Thing

Every time I go to the BZP front page, it says: Welcome, You Have 24 Hours. You have 0 new messages. If it wasn't my name, I'd assume BZP was threatening me. --- Anyway, I now have the urge to host a boinilces mafia game subtitled "You Have 24 Hours." Like 'BIONICLE MAFIA: You Have 24 Hours', in which you have 24 hours to perform 'night' and 'day' actions taking a maximum of nine rounds, one extra if nobody has won by round eight and then split into four quarters with two rounds each: morning, afternoon, evening, night. Don't know how that'd quite affect things, but I was thinking along something basic and simple to understand like the Mafia getting the chance to kill twice in the night rounds due to it being darker (also to hasten the pace of the game, since it'll hopefully be near its end at that time), while in the morning some roles like the traditional Detective/Doctor duo were 'sleepy' and on their way to work, preventing them from acting until the afternoon. Need to think this through a bit more. Open to suggestions, though. If the game ever comes into existence.
  19. If one was to look upon the village of Le-Koro on any other day, they would have found a sanctuary of happiness and peace. The streets would be filled with mirthful Matoran, all talking, laughing, and sharing the joys of life. Not a single window would be shut, and the bright day would be enjoyed by all. Music would ring out as well, filling the air and lifting up the spirits of the downtrodden sky high, and Matoran dance throughout the city. This day was different though. On this day, the village in the trees was completely silent. Doors were closed and bolted shut, as fear prowled through the village. The only signs of life in most the streets were the instruments that had once brought such joy to the village, left forgotten on the ground. The leaves rustled softly above the village, bringing a whisper to stir the somber silence. A red Matoran stood, motionless, in the center of the town square - the only Matoran to be seen outside. Was it really only this morning that I brought the news here? Tavahka mused, It feels like this place hasn’t been touched in an eternity... Slowly he turned and looked towards his home village, towards Ta-Koro. He fought against the tide of memories that rushed to overtake him, but they swept in against his will. He remembered the fire, the screams of pain. He remembered getting away, and worst of all, he remembered looking back. Mata Nui, that look back. He had turned, and what he saw had stunned him. He saw Ta-Koro, his home, burn in the very liquid that had been their living. Seeing his everything burn and everyone he had ever known melt into nothing had left him in shock. Just the thought of that moment brought sudden tears to his eyes, which he began to wipe away furiously. He didn’t know what had caused the corruption of his friends, or who was responsible for the civil war that had overtaken Ta-Koro in its’ final hours. But, he feared that they were still out there, somewhere, and that the horrors would renew themselves soon. He began to move, slowly heading towards his temporary house while lost in his thoughts. His hands shook with fear at the sight he had seen. Memories of his friends still haunted him, and he couldn’t stand to think about the fact that he would never see them again. Tavahka wiped his eyes again, struggling to keep the tears in but failing drastically. Every crack made him jump, every slight sound made fresh tears spring into his eyes. He shambled to the house he had been directed to earlier that day, hoping that sleep would claim his tired body soon. He hadn’t gotten any rest since the bloodbath had started, and so he pushed along, struggling to reach his bed. Everyone else had gone away, mourning in their own ways. But they had left him, here in the middle of the town all alone. He closed his eyes, and he pictured the faces of those brutish caricatures of his friends, thirsty for blood. The sun was setting as he finally collapsed into his room. This was towards the outskirts of town, because it was as far away from the wreckage of Ta-koro Tavahka could get. The door thudded shut, and Tavahka closed his eyes and wondered. Wondered what could have happened if he had stayed. Wondered what he could have done to save somebody’s life, anyone’s life. Wondered if he could have the courage to keep living. He opened his eyes, still seeing phantoms of the deranged. This one was different though. This one didn’t go away as he focused more and more on it. “Did you miss us?” a voice hissed, startling Tavahka to the ground. This was no vision or memory, one of the killers had found him already! Tavahka opened his mouth to scream, scrambling backwards, but was silenced before he could. His body slammed into the ground, as the killer stood up and grinned while wiping his knife clean. “Let’s get ready to exterminate the rest of these insects.” he spat out, to seemingly nobody. The darkness itself seemed to grow darker, and the blood-red armored killer began to feel an uncomfortable sensation. He was nervous. “Your services will no longer be required.” a cacophony of voices spoke. “You’ve completed your task.” Suddenly the killer found his lungs filling with some foreign substances. He clawed at his throat, struggling for breath. In mere moments his body hit the floor, right next to his victim. Four beings stepped out of the dark. Each wore armor like the Matoran, but they were not simply villagers like the rest. No, these were monsters, traitors in every regard, and they were going to destroy any hope the village had left. They would not stop until their mission was accomplished. --- The next day, a red Hau was found in the center of the village, cut through with a savage M. The worst fears of those living in the small village were coming true. Their brothers had already fallen prey to this cult, who was to say if they could survive it? Bionicle Mafia II: Electric Boogaloo HD Edition --- Remember this, anybody? No? Okay... Basically I said I was going to write a Mafia epic long before Voltex started his epic. But then he beat me to it, and while I was writing this one, I realized that it really should probably be over here in comedies instead. After two years I finally have it in a state I am sorta okay with. This opening wasn't very funny, but things get a little more... off kilter in a bit. So yeah, let's do this. All of the scenes have stayed intact, as far as deaths go, as well as the fact I use much of what was actually said in topic and in PM as dialogue. So it gets pretty silly, if you remember how this game went haha So yeah. Thoughts?
  20. WHAT IS THE POTOO?! Several Matoran were sitting around a campfire, rambling madly and pointing fingers as they tried to decide who would be roasted with the marshmallows that evening. Two of the Matoran in particular - Voltex and Seaborgium - were getting rather heated in their debate, as Seaborgium insisted that Voltex had some sort of mad scheme while Voltex tried to explain that his mad scheme was that he did not have a mad scheme. Needless to say, it was going about as well as trying to grow onions by watering them with flower pots. “I’m telling you, I simply voted for Quisoves because I voted for Quisoves!” Voltex exclaimed, throwing his hands up in the air and pointing at Quisoves, who sat across the circle. “He was the first one that popped into my mind!” “Impossible!” Seaborgium responded, shaking his head. “You were in an alliance with Blade! You are clearly a part of some devious conspiracy!” “Nope.” “Yes you are!” “I just don’t want to join a bandwagon!” Voltex said, crossing his arms defiantly and turning around. “But you started a bandwagon!” Seaborgium cried. “Did not!” “Did too!” “I DID NOT YOU’RE ALL VOTING TO EAT GENGAR WITH THE MARSHMALLOWS AND THAT MAKES ME VERY UPSET!” Voltex shouted, eyes bugging out of his head. “Okay, fine, gosh, calm down,” Seaborgium muttered. “I’ll just, um. Yes. I shall go. I shall go and… the thing. I shall not vote for Gengar.” Voltex nodded in approval. “That is very good.” “You are still evil though, very clearly,” Seaborgium continued. “Look at you! You have scorched armor!” “My house burned down!” “Your house did not burn down!” “We are sitting in the remains of my house right now!” “No we aren’t!” “Yes we are!” “Both of you please, stop yelling,” Ehks said, stepping between them. “I’m sure you’ll both get to eat whoever you want.” “I don’t want to eat anybody,” Seaborgium said. “I think we should eat you!” Voltex said, grabbing onto Ehks’ arm. “Come on! You can be roasted with the marshmallows!” “Wait, that’s a bad idea! Bad idea!” Ehks protested, pulling himself free. “SEE?!” Seaborgium shouted. “Voltex is evil! He is coming up with some sort of dastardly plan to have all us eaten for dessert!” Voltex frowned. “Seaborgium, there are no words that can express my disappointment with regards to your utter incompetence. Heck, even Quisoves, the player that I am voting for, appears to understand my motives.” There came a disbelieving snort from Burnmad, but the Ta-Matoran successfully started to play a trumpet immediately afterward, and Voltex ignored him, continuing: “That said, you are correct; I did indeed vote just to vote. And since I'm not exactly intent on Quisoves dying... I hereby switch from Quisoves to Seaborgium.” “WHAT?!” Seaborgium screeched. “Nice,” Quisoves said, pulling a large creature out of his pocket. “You crack me up.” Everyone turned to look at Quisoves and froze at the sight of the absurd creature perched on the Matoran’s arms. Ehks slowly took a step back as the creature opened its mouth and stared around the circle. It was Voltex who found his voice first. “What in Ekimu’s name is that thing?” “It’s a Potoo!” Xaeraz said excitedly, reaching forward and handing the Potoo a large concrete block that it immediately began to grind into dust with its beak. “They’re hilarious looking and sounding! It’s going to be a secret role in Red Sea!” “It’s gonna be Quisoves because the RNG is biased,” Chro muttered from where he was crouched right underneath the Potoo, his nose wrinkled at the concrete dust settling on his nose. “But… that doesn’t make any sense,” Ehks replied, sounding confused. “It isn’t a double roasting because I actually counted right this time.” Everyone turned their gaze from the Potoo and over to Ehks, who gulped. “What?” “I was talking about the Potoo,” Chro said. “What do they sound like?” Burnmad asked. “Potoos, I mean, not roastings.” “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.” Everyone turned their gaze from Ehks and back over to the Potoo, taking a collective step back from the absurd creature in Quisove’s arms (except for Chro, who merely shuddered). “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.” “Dear god, what the heck is that sound?” Voltex asked. “It’s the Potoo’s call!” Quisoves replied. “Isn’t it weird?” “It’s horrifying!” Voltex exclaimed. “Turn it off!” “You can’t turn off a Potoo,” Quisoves said. “That would be disrespectful.” “My face is disrespectful, but people turn that off all the time,” Voltex replied. “No, Voltex, we just don’t like you.” Voltex turned to Burnmad. “What?” “Nothing.” “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.” Portalfig burst into a fit of giggles, collapsing to his knees and clutching his stomach. “I just - I can’t - I can’t take it seriously - I - it’s - it’s so goofy-” “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.” “ALRIGHT! I GIVE UP!” Voltex yelled, throwing his arms in the air. “I GIVE UP!” Ehks glanced down at the cards in his hands. “Hey! We’re roasting Gengar! He was the one that stole Onarax’s liver! We got it right!” “THAT’S NOT FAIR!” Voltex shouted, stomping his foot. “I wanted to keep Gengar alive! Save Gengar 2015!” “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.” Voltex’s eyes bugged out of their sockets. “I swear to Ekimu if somebody doesn’t shut that Potoo up I am going to go insane.” “You’re already insane!” Seaborgium snapped. “That’s what you’ve been saying this entire time!” “Only to bug you!” Voltex responded. “The absurdity of my claims causes you increasing frustration! It brings me joy!” “Just you wait until I’m in charge,” Seaborgium muttered. “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.” “Alright, that’s it, I’m done,” Voltex said, turning away and walking off into the darkness. “I’m ou-AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH….” The group remained frozen in silence for several seconds - even the Potoo - until Ehks tentatively asked, “Voltex?” He glanced back to the others. “I… what? I don’t….” “Oh well,” Burnmad said, shrugging. “Back to the roasting.” “MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.” “And to the Potoo!” Quisoves cried gleefully. “To its honor, its absurdity, and its majestic nature!” “That thing isn’t majestic at all,” Ehks said, looking utterly disgusted. “It’s revolting.” The End. I hope you're all happy. This horrible thing is my 5000th post and will officially tarnish what little reputation I have gained in the library forums E: FIXED A MINOR COPY/PASTE ERROR THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS AND REALLY BUGS ME UGH
  21. The stone hallways of the little Scarlet Abbey were silent. Nothing moved, nothing breathed. If one would describe the interior of the building, it could only be described as still. The courtyard outside, however, was a different story. The sun shone brightly on the little park, and the echoes of the robed initiates’ games reverberated into the sky above. The proceedings were heard from above by an elder in a long, rustling robe that concealed his entire frame. He stood in the belltower, using this time to get some time to keep his thoughts to himself. Being the sole Abbot of this small monastery meant that he did not have much time to himself these days. He glanced down at the others below him, then a thought began to creep up upon him. Time alone did this to him frequently, and he could hear it’s whispers in his ear. Come... He did not fight it, but rather took the opportunity to glance around before descending into the depths of the Abbey. His footsteps clinked rapidly as he made his way down into the storeroom in the basement. The muffled sounds of the playing students penetrated even this far, but the Abbot only heard one thing, one voice. Come, my brother... The Abbot leaned forward and pushed on a stone in the wall, which fell away with a rumbling murmur. Quietly, yet inspiring dread, a small door opened in the cold wall. The Abbot stared into the echoing dark, and then proceeded in with his stilted walk, going to where he knew he had to be. He came upon a room, black as night, with a little candle on a desk next to the doorway. Careful to not disturb the ground he stood on, he lit the candle and trekked forward. With the light, he could now see the pedestal with the massive tome on it, and the silver sword on the wall next to it. He was here once again. Ah, brother. You have come for me once again. It’s been too, too long. --- The young scribe looked up as the Abbot hustled by the slightly ajar door. He cracked his neck, and glanced around the room. He needed to speak with the Father about this troublesome translation, so he silently stood up and began to walk after him. The Father’s purposeful walk confused him, and he struggled to keep up. He didn’t want to call out - he’d been reprimanded many times for doing so - but yet he couldn’t seem to keep up. Finally the Abbot went into the basement, and the scribe thought he would catch up to him there. He descended the steps, opening his mouth to finally speak, when he saw the Abbot enter in a door that he knew wasn’t there before. The young scribe scrambled over to the entrance, and glanced into the dark room. There stood the Abbot, and another figure next to him. The figure was tall, with dark blue armor covered in spikes. It held a dark black mace in its’ hand, and it had a sickening malformation for a face. And worst of all, the scribe recognized it. This was Barshai: the Lord of Despair, the wielder of the Eternal Silence, and the holder of the Accursed Tongue. This was the very monster whose bones the monastery was built on, who was supposed to be dead - killed in the Demon Wars by Zatdae. The scribe found his body frozen as he watched the proceedings. The Father seemed to be making amends, maybe even pacifying the demon. The Scribe then noticed a gleam out of the corner of his eye, and he turned to see the legendary silver sword that Zatdae used to kill the Demon, hanging on the wall. He turned back to the proceedings in the room, and he was shocked to see the monster step forth, slowly raising the mace. The scribe had hardly registered this before he reached out and found himself holding the sword. He then found himself dashing forward, intent on protecting the Father. He yelled out as he ran the sword through the accursed figure, as he looked in it’s eyes. But what he saw there gave him pause. He didn’t see anger or evil; he saw betrayal. The room suddenly seemed to shift, and the scribe found that he still stood in the center. However, now he was standing next to, not a demon, but the Abbot. Realization hit the Scribe’s eyes, and the light from the little candle was snuffed out. Mistakes were made. --- The little monastery had never been a quiet place, no matter what the Abbot attempted to do. The birds sang, the scribes scribbled, there was always purposeful movement and the enjoyment of life. That is, until the Silence fell, and the darkness in the hearts of Matoran began to reign again. This was still the Scarlet Abbey, but its’ name was about to take on a much more dreadful meaning. Welcome to the Silence. (Also known as Bionicle Mafia XXI(2): Silence) Roles You know what these do, but whatever. Have some role descriptions anyways. 19x Villagers - Has the power to vote!... and that is it. 1x Detective - Searches 1 player a night, learns who they voted for the day before. Gets a normal conformation night one, since there wasn’t a day beforehand. Mafioso will come up as abstaining the vote. Can vote. 1x Doctor - Makes one player immune to death for one night per night. Can vote. 5x Mafioso - Have no power to vote, but can choose to collectively kill one player each night. 1x Secret Role - I’m still not going to tell you. Rules After all signups are in, this topic will be reported and closed. I will then send everyone a PM, telling them their role. This will be how everyone votes during the day, and how they receive each of the scenes. Do not make the game unfun. It is still a game. If you try to make it unfun any way, be it revealing all the roles or anything, I will repeatedly bash you over the head with phun. Do not make me do that. This is le numbero uno rule. It is so important I just mangled three languages or so in one sentence to get it across to you. There are innocence lists this game because, quite frankly, I don’t want to have to think too hard about my in-text clues but I also don’t want a normal suspect list. Just deal with it. =P If you are dead, please do your best to not affect the game. Dead people may be able to chatter, but they certainly can’t write notes. That’d be ridiculous. Null votes are just abstains. Please include me in all group PMs if possible. I want to be able and get the fullest picture possible for when I explain what happened after the game ends. Have fun! 22. Here is a place where one could theoretically tell me how I am doing with Operation Rainfall. This is a canon side-story of Voltex's Mafia Uprising universe. I don't have fancy multiple narrators or anything, though. This is just through Portal's eyes. =P So enjoy this little prequel romp through the world before Scenario Alpha takes place. Comment, rate, subscribe, follow, favorite and share or I'll nom you.
  23. -----Portalfig looked absentmindedly at the racers as they flew by under the organizer booth again, a long streak of colors speeding down the track. He tapped his foot impatiently, as his gaze began to wander. He just wanted them to finish the race, he had to leave as soon as he possibly could. -----Of course, at least one organizer had to be at each race, and everyone else was busy. Portalfig almost laughed at this, because of the sheer number of responsibilities he had at this point. Not only was he one of the organizers of the Day Run, which was a full time job in and of itself, he also was now an interim organizer for the Bionifight league. -----Talk to me again about busy. He thought with a grin and a slight shrug of his shoulders. He didn’t really mind, but being forced to not be doing anything productive was really bothering him. He had a meeting right after this, depending on how fast he could run. He hadn’t ever had a reason to sprint from the Day Run stadium to the Bionifight Arena before, so he didn’t know how fast he could make it. -----The racers came charging back towards his booth, moving faster and faster with each lap. Then, for a fraction of a second, the Onu-Matoran’s gaze wandered onto the perfect spot. He noticed the leader of the race, a fan favorite rookie known as Gelosa, as he began to pull even further away from the rest of the pack. He was not anywhere close to any other racer on the straightest part of the course. -----Then, it happened. The leader was speeding along the track to the finish line when, without warning, his vehicle exploded in a blink of an eye. It was flipping in the air, turning over and over, before landing on it’s side with a nasty crunch of metal. The arena fell silent as the remaining racers took off past at incredible speeds. Portal looked on in horror as the audience began to murmur, and he came to a frightening conclusion. -----Somebody had sabotaged the race. Presenting... Bionicle Mafia: Operation Rainfall 6 Months before Isolation... -----“Portalfig, Hat Enterprises just contacted us. They want to talk about renewing their sponsorship again.” -----The Onu-Matoran looked up from the now-spotless desk and the untidy piles of random junk all over the floor to the doorway, where his secretary stood. “Thank you, Yoichi. When can I see them?” -----“You are open this Wednesday after the races. Shall I book it for you?” -----“Yeah, sure.” The Matoran stood up slowly and cracked his back as he looked around. “I had no idea Burn’s office would be such a mess. He always seemed like the clean type.” -----“He certainly wasn't that.” The Fe-Matoran said, glancing around with a slight grin on his face. -----“Surely he’ll be back soon.” The Onu-Matoran said absentmindedly, “Then we can work permanently back at the Day Run and not keep running back and forth like this.” -----Yoichi nodded solemnly, and then a quick flash of remembrance crossed his mask. “Oh, and the numbers from the last race were calculated finally.” He said, glancing down at the paper in his hand. “Our profits were up a full sixteen percent from the race before.” -----“Really?” Portalfig said, an impressed look crossing over his face. All the while he was planning his next attack on the messy room, before giving up and collapsing into the chair. “Isn’t that the biggest profit we’ve gotten so far?” -----“Yes, sir. We estimate that we will sell out every race in the final set of the tournament.” -----“That’s good.” Portalfig said, “Anything else?” -----“That is everything for the moment, so I’ll leave you to your crusade.” Yoichi said, before turning and leaving Portalfig to combat the room by himself. -----After another scan of the room, the Onu-Matoran just slumped even deeper into the chair. To clean all this up would take much longer than he had time for. He shoved himself up and cleared a path with his foot to the door, where he grabbed his bag and made his way cautiously back to the desk. He pulled out a stack of paper, a lightstone, and a pen and set them down before tossing the bag onto his shoulder. -----He looked back around at the hurricane of a room, and decided that he had done enough with this for the day. It was a temporary accommodation, anyways. And after all, the races started in just a few hours, and Portalfig had to attend. But first, he had to do his pre-race check-ups on everything. -----He stepped slowly back across the room, and let himself out the door. He sighed, a breath of relief escaping his lips. It was clean out here, and he much preferred it. A wave to Yoichi told him that they were leaving, and they left the Bionifight facilities at a brisk pace. They headed for the chutes, making small talk about the weather and the newest kind of vehicle that was sweeping the Day Run, a wheeled model that was quite inefficient in Portalfig’s mind. Yoichi swore that it would be much faster than anything else they had seen before, but Portal was not convinced. -----They passed by a small newsstand on the way, displaying yet another article about JiMing’s success in the Bionifight ring. Portalfig stopped for just a moment to grab one, pay, and then he was on his way. “Might as well see what the press is saying about this tournament, considering that is my job now and all.” He said with a grin to his secretary, before folding it up and placing it in his bag for later review. -----The two continued on their way, and after a quick trip through the chutes, they finally arrived at the Day Run facility. They entered without stopping, and together made their way down the stairs into the bowels of the facility. A long hallway stretched out before them, lit brightly by a multitude of lightstones embedded in the ceiling. -----This underground hallway was the backbone of the Day Run facility, connecting most every part of it together. If you needed to get to the racer apartments, you took the hallway. If you had to get to the engineering hanger, you took the hallway. The kitchens, the janitorial sector, the experimental track, and even the entrance to the real track were all connected by this one artery of stone and mortar. -----This highway of efficiency was bustling at this moment. Matoran were busily zipping from to and fro, trying to put the finishing touches on everything before the audience arrived. Portalfig put his head down, and began to make his way through the crowd. He followed the stream of people heading towards his destination, and decided to take a quick detour into his favorite place in all of the Day Run. He motioned to Yoichi to go ahead to the organizer booth, and then took off through the crowded hallway. Before long, he saw his destination. -----Splitting off from the others, Portalfig opened one of the double doors into the hanger and slipped in. He looked around the entire room, taken aback yet again. He could never get used to the sheer size of this room. The engineers were all climbing up and around the multitude of machines, performing last minute tests to make sure everything would be safe. From the bipedal robots, to the Rahi mecha, to the newer wheeled variety of racer, every one of them had to be double and triple-checked as the race grew ever closer. -----Nodding happily at the busy Matoran all around, Portal then turned around and slipped back out the door. Today’s race was going to be a good one. He stepped back into the speeding stream of people, heading this time towards the organizer booth. Twenty minutes and seven flights of stairs later, he was there. He walked into the room, happy to see it wasn't completely destroyed yet. This booth was Portal’s favorite, because it had the greatest view of the city outside of the Day Run Arena. The skyline just looked fantastic in the dim light of the evening, something that Portal always enjoyed to see. -----Of course, they were going to “renovate” it before the final race. The White Council was coming, but their booth had to be brought up to some security standards before the championship. This saddened Portal a bit because it would ruin the view, but the prospect of being backed by the rulers of the city would have benefits, so he kept quiet about it. -----Yoichi was sitting in one of the six chairs in the room, all around the meeting table in the middle of the room. Portal went and sat down next to the Po-Matoran, looking out onto the clean track. He spun around and looked out the other window out onto the city, then he sighed and spoke. -----“I should probably be doing some productive, shouldn't I?” -----Yoichi looked at Portal and laughed, then responded. “Yeah, I have a few things that you could be signing right now. After that, Djoser did send us a package detailing the Bionifight league and how all that is going to work, so that will need to be read at some point.” -----“Alright,” Portal said, moving his chair up to the table, “Let’s get this stuff done.” -------- -----Twenty minutes of signing papers and contracts, and a little more than an hour of reading up on his duties as interim Bionifight organizer later, the Matoran started pouring into the arena. Portalfig sat back in his chair, looking forward to the race ahead but dreading the final few laps. He would be cutting it really close to his meeting with the Bionifight League. Standing up and stretching, he began to walk around the room before the race. -----Yoichi walked back in, thankfully without any more papers. “RomeTech just contacted us, they want to meet with you in a week or so about renewing their sponsorship.” -----Portal visible slumped, his voice starting to tremble as he responded. “Oh. I guess that means I’ll have to meet with Kaiser, then?” -----Yoichi nodded solemnly. He was well aware of Portal’s acute dread of every meeting with Kaiser. He came back every time looking deflated and defeated. “If anyone was going to scare me to death, it would be that Matoran.” Portal often quipped after every meeting. -----Portal rubbed his eyes, and then put his fists down, determination in his voice. “Well, I guess I will be seeing Kaiser soon then. When do we have it scheduled for?” -----“You can go in...” The Po-Matoran said, looking through his notes, “A couple of weeks from now sound good?” -----“Sounds fine. That gives me plenty of time to hope he calls it off.” the Onu-Matoran replied with a grin. He turned to walk back towards the window, and saw that the race was finally about to start. “Come on, sit down.” he said to his friend, “No need for us to stand when there are all these chairs in here.” -----The two sat down, and made themselves comfortable as the sound of the vehicles revving up filled the arena, meshing with the voices of thousands of excited fans in a joyous ruckus. The lights turned, and a explosion of noise hit the arena as the racers took off, speeding around the track. Portal watched intently, but before long the result of the race was pretty much settled. The fan favorite, Gelosa, gained almost a half a mile around the track ahead of the others, leading to a long, boring race. Portal stood up as he became restless, hoping that he could leave soon. -----But then it happened. Gelosa’s vehicle was gone in a second, and Portal had to pick up the pieces left behind. -------- -----The flames continued to die as more and more racers passed by or colliding into the flaming wreck; Portal ran around the room as he began to try and do damage control. This did not bode well for the Day Run. The paramedics were already on the track, pulling Gelosa’s body out from the dangerous, twisted frame of the ruined vehicle. Portal called the other organizers about the event, just one thought running through his head the entire time. -----Somebody must have sabotaged the race... -----Review Topic
