  1. Stormer X.L. Built for the Hero Factory Special Ops Collab, I decided to reinterpret Stomer XL, turning its XL model into an XL gadget. This Stormer is an expert in infiltration, its XL backpack is a submarine truster, useful for infiltrating marine structures. The helmet attached to the backpack is fully articulated, you can open or remove it from Stormer. Yes, basically it's based on Solid Snake from MGS1, I even built a Famas just for him. 19/02/22
  2. The Hero Recon Team (to those unaware) was a hero designing tool on the Lego website back around 2011. It let you design your own hero, and order it, with the pieces to build it, custom instructions and a very slick box. I recently found my old Recon Team instruction booklet, and I'm curious to hear anybody else's experience with the Recon Team, and I'd love to see the Heros you guys made from it! I remember I was at my grandparent's house on their laptop and found the Hero Recon Team creator on the Lego website, and I thought it was so cool. I made my hero and somehow convinced them to order it for me, and it's one of the coolest things I've ever had. Unfortunately I had mine made during the 3.0 update, at that time the exclusive chest piece was no longer available, so I didn't get the chest piece at the time.
  3. Hi, guys. Today is the 10th anniversary of the summer 2011 story arc called Savage Planet, when its two-part TV special was aired on Nicktoons on September 5, 2011. The story arc is about six members of the Alpha 1 Team, Stormer, Furno, Bulk, Stringer, Nex, and a new rookie named Daniel Rocka fighting against a new tall and monstrous skeleton-based villain called the Witch Doctor, who was an ex-teacher from the Hero Factory organization named Aldous Witch and is obsessed with collecting and using Quaza, and his army of mind-controlled techno-organic animals to save a jungle planet called Quatros (the place could give you what Bota Magna from Bionicle 2001-2010 looks like). It’s all started after the villains from the Ordeal of Fire arc in 2011 were defeated, Aldous was trying to use the Quaza, the thing that is used to make the Heroes’ Hero Cores, to supercharge himself because he is interested in it, but Stormer stopped him, and Aldous was exiled as a result. He went to Quatros, where its core is sustained by a large amount of a special kind of Quaza to keep the planet healthy. Mining Quaza in the place is illegal because of that fact about the core, but Aldous collected a corrupted piece of Quaza and a skull from a mysterious and ancient temple. When he created a staff of these things, it turned into into the evil monster called the Witch Doctor, who uses the staff to become powerful. He put corrupted Quaza on four species of animals in the planet and then uses his staff to mind-control them. It’s like how Makuta Teridax from Bionicle 2001-2010 mind-controls many species of Rahi with his Infected Kanohi masks (this similarity was to celebrate Bionicle’s 10th anniversary during the time?). The species of animals are Fangz, Waspix, Raw-Jaw, and Skorpio. He collects the Quaza from the core to make an evil army, and doing so is hurting the planet. The Heroes got new animal-based armor and weapons, and they are called Heroes 3.0 because of them. Their armor gives them the abilities of the animals, and they wear them to adapt to the planet. This is the last set wave to use numbers, sadly, when Breakout, Brain Attack, and Invasion From Below should have used 4.0-6.0. I was also expecting the coming years to do a similar tread with the six heroes in the early and late 2011 story arcs, but there’s inconsistency. At least I was happy with Breakout having all nine heroes in a way. Anyway, the story arc also introduced Heroes’ “XL forms”, which are Hulk-sized forms similar to Takanuva in 2008. In this story arc, Rocka is the first to have that. Speaking of Rocka, his design is based on Furno, and he wants to be like Furno. Stormer, Furno, and Rocka are basically the main protagonists of Hero Factory. His first name was unknown until Leto decided to have Daniel as his first name officially, right? Wished Lego could have said it right away, like how the other heroes happened. The story arc ended when Rocka XL and Stormer defeated the Witch Doctor by destroying his staff while the other heroes removed the Doctor’s animal servants by removing their corrupted Quaza to free them. Furno then returned the core’s stolen Quaza back to it to save the planet from dying. The Doctor is affected for his crimes. According to a guide book, Nex was looking for something that rumors were talking about, but there weren’t. He fought a snake, and that was about it. Weird. Anyway, the leader of the Hero Recon Team, Merrit Fortis, got upgraded with the 3.0 armor and was exploring Quatros a little bit. Nothing much from there, either. Weird. Hero Factory FM never continued since the Ordeal of Fire story arc. As for the sets, they are good for the most part. Some of the Heroes and WD have weapons for hands, though, and Stringer has uneven forearms. Bulk has a flimsy design on his wrist blades. WD is the tallest HF set in general, but he has a wonky design. I mean, there’s an asymmetrical waist and stiff joints here and there when the set tried to be giant. For my favorite sets, I love Nex, Furno, Waspix, Skopio, and Rocka XL the best because Nex has a weapon on his forearm, which most his friends don’t have, Furno looks awesome, Waspix has four arms, wings, and a stinger, Skorpio is an intimidating scorpion, and Rocka XL looks awesome with his spiky design. The episodes are good, as it shows a rivalry between Furno and Rocka, Rocka trying to be like Furno, and I love the fight with Waspix and Skopio, and final battle the best. It’s pity that Surge, Breez, and Evo missed out. Breez could have tried to talk to these animals. It’s quite interesting that Nex said that he loves her, even though that Natalie doesn’t have any romantic relationships with any Hero. There are two online games that the story arc is known for, Mission: Savage Planet and Jungle Crushers. They are good games. Sadly, we never had new installments from these things. Well, we have the Breakout online game in 2012, which is a very great game. So, what do you guys think of the story arc? Happy 10th anniversary to it!
  4. Yep. You heard correctly. Common Sense Media, a parent/kids age rating website, has these reviews for HF: Rise of the Rookies / Savage Planet I mean... WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Hero Factory... a... a... a... 18+?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Please. Somebody PLEASE explain.
  5. Alright, everyone. I thought it was time to make a thread to consolidate everything about a Hero Factory continuation, be it theories, wants, stuff, etc. There are already quite a few threads with smaller parts, but basically just throw all your ideas here. So far, just explore pages 1 and 2 of this forum and there's quite a lot of stuff. Anyway, my big thing would be a TT game, as I have FREQUENTLY stated in my previous posts. I already made a thread with some of my ideas, so you can check it out (but I'm not forcing you). For those of you who don't know (but I'm pretty sure you do know), TT, a.k.a. Traveller's Tales, have made almost all of the mainstream LEGO games since LEGO Star Wars (I think). You've got licensed serieseseses like Marvel, Batman, Star Wars and Harry Potter, and original LEGO works like Ninjago, Chima and City. The TT games are always great (almost finished Batman 1, and it's a blast) and I'm pretty sure there's at least one other person here who would like to have a TT Hero Factory game (even though, not be pessimistic or anything, it probably won't happen). Maybe you would want a double, triple or quadruple TV special, like Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Or another Secret Mission book? Or maybe a Hero Factory FM episode? Or an Amuzo mobile game (hey, I'm just throwing everything at this topic)? Really, there's so many options. Feel free to discuss them. I'd love to hear!
  6. I was just thinking the other day, what if the amazing Hero Factory FM was still going during later Hero Factory lines? Coverage of other episodes like the mission to Quatros would be awesome, and there would obviously be interviews with the new kids on the block, Evo, Nex and Rocka. It would also be awesome if Mak Megahertz got attacked by a brain mid-episode. What are your thoughts?

  8. Years ago around 2010 when Hero Factory first launched. I created a Moc of the character from the Hero Factory FM podcasts. DJ Mak Megahertz https://brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/herofactory/034.jpg Cut to a decade later and I decided he needed an update. Mainly to his head and back builds. So here is the updated design. He is basically a walking radio station able to broadcast from anywhere by himself. Comments and criticism appreciated
  9. So, here's something I started making the other day, it's a Hero Factory timeline of media. Click here to go to the timeline. Right now it's just got episodes 1-6 and 8-10, but soon I'm going to update it with material from HeroFactory.com, novels, games and alternate reality material (some of the reality names are going to be made up, but they'll follow the same sort of thing the official reality title). I'm also eventually going to make a downloadable edition for when the timeline's done, which will look something like the attached image. Hope you enjoy it so far!
  10. Recently I've managed to get the HF Breakout game working through Pale Moon but I can't find a downloadable PC version on BMP or anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find the game?
  11. I kinda got bored so I decided that I would make a Hero Factory quiz. You can find it right over here. It's on Kahoot, which I know is usually used for educational-related stuff, but it was just a little bit of fun. Please tell me what you think!
  12. What do you guy thinks about the knockoffs? Personally I think many knockoffs of gen 1 are actually pretty well made. The issues I see are the higher probability of getting pieces in bad condition, and the fact that the pins and axle usually don't fit well with neither the knockoff or the original pieces. On the other hand, the Hero Factory and gen 2 knockoffs are really bad. Besides the issues I said before, the plastic is really cheap and weak and it's almost imposible to pose them. Here's a video where I tell the diference that I have found between fake and real Bionicle pieces. It's also in Spanish on my channel if someone of you speak Spanish.
  13. The only ones I can really think of is how much Mr. Makuro bears a strong resemblance to Turaga Matau, his mask specifically. Another one is the Bohrok (I wonder what it's even called; an eyepiece?) part in the Furno bike. Does anybody know anything else, I'm really interested in hearing more about these discoveries!?
  14. Hi, guys! Ever since Bionicle: The Legend Reborn happened in 2009, Lego had been limited with Tinseltown Toons’ Lego stuff before Lego stopped using the company in 2014, when they made that silly Hero Factory web episode called Invasion From Below. In 2003-2005, we witnessed Lego creating three direct-to-video Bionicle movies, made by Miramax, which is a Disney thing (Disney should buy Bionicle to make it healthy again. Just my opinion.), where the characters are organic-looking cyborgs rather than looking like their actual Lego sets. It’s kind of a nice feel. They were the first things in Lego media. They had some good qualities, like the dark tone of the story and good character development, despite that not all sets appear in the story, some don’t look accurate, some designs were lazily created, like some masks and the red eyes, some important story content weren’t in the movies, and there weren’t any movies in 2001-early 2003 and 2006-2008. Some designs look a little weird, like that there are no mouths behind the characters’ masks. In 2009, for some reason, Lego replaced Miramax with TT, and TT, along with Universal Studios, made The Legend Reborn, which is a loose continuation to the trilogy. The movie uses more professional and more popular voice actors rather than reusing the ones from the trilogy. This movie also is where the characters look very accurately like their sets. I mean, they are living toys, like Toy Story (Lego is into that in all other Lego media since the movie) and Bionicle Heroes video game in 2006, and some of the characters have mouth guards that open and close, and they have organic teeth. However, there are some silly things in the movies, like the spinning axles, misplacement of the pieces and armor, not all characters carry all of their weapons from their sets, like the Thornax Launchers, Mata Nui’s sword should have appeared in his canister set, not all sets appear in the movie, the script is kind of wonky, as the script seemed a little rushed and there were less action, as we see characters talk and observe things often, the Glatorian heads look like skulls opening their mouths when they talk rather than having actually lips that express emotion (tell that to The Lion King remake this year. Lol.), and some designs were made lazily, like the Skopio using stuff from the Skopio XV-1 (I mean, what was that for?). It would also be nice if Malum would fight Mata Nui if the Vorox that Mata Nui fought is one of Malum’s Vorox. Plus, the Matoran in the prologue did the same repeated design thing and red eyes thing as the original trilogy. Originally, that movie was going to be a trilogy, where the second movie coming in 2010 and the third in 2011, but it got cancelled for some reason as Bionicle’s G1 toy line got cancelled for some reason. We were left with that silly cliffhanger from The Legend Reborn. However, we got a draft of a script for the fifth Bionicle movie, which wasn’t canon anymore, and in 2010, Michael Dorn, Mata Nui’s voice actor that we know and love, narrated a series of web video slides called The Mata Nui Saga, where Mata Nui completed his mission in restoring Spherus Magna (but Michael didn’t narrate in the last slide for some reason). That’s where Greg Farshtey released a few serials that continued the G1 story, with some things explained and where we should have see the Great Beings come back, but he stopped at June 2011, where there are two unfinished serials, thus the story is unfinished (what good comes out of that. Please finish the story for sake of us. Seriously. I wish Disney could help with that, too). Then, we have that TV short called Lego Altantis and Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers in 2010, which were made by the creators of The Legend Reborn. They follow the same pattern as The Legend Reborn, but they are original stories, so some of the cons that I mentioned are fixed, but there are no sequels for them (there should be, though, because the Atlantis toy line continued in 2011 and Clutch Powers has a cliffhanger). Plus, the Atlantis short has some cons, like the designs don’t like their sets for some reason and not all sets appeared in the short. Then, the Hero Factory TV show happened, it was made by the creators of The Legend Reborn, too. Like The Legend Reborn, the show is based on a constraction theme and followed the same pattern, but like Atlantis and Clutch Powers, it has an original story, so some of the cons that I mentioned are fixed, as the characters look like actual robots. However, there are still some problems, like not all characters have their weapons from their sets, the script is sort of wonky, as there are some cliffhangers and unresolved things, there are ten episodes that are like specials where they deceased by one episode every year, some characters look like their prototype sets, like Rotor’s gray shoulder armor, not all sets appear in the show, like Vapor, Thornraxx, XT4, Core Hunter, Breez’s Breakout form, Bulk’s Breakout form, and Nex’s Breakout form, some designs are lazily made, like Toxic Reapa’s eye color and Arachnix, which was never used as a gun, and reused, the release dates for the episodes weren’t announced immediately, not all episodes are released in DVD for some reason while the DVDs that had the episodes were wonky and never had scene selections for some reason, and there are some noticeable production mistakes, like scratches on some of the characters’ armor appear out of nowhere (if Disney decides to buy HF, too, it should fix all of those problems). Talk about false advertising a little bit. Some fans like to think that Bionicle and HF share the same universe, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, because of TT. In 2014, for some reason, Lego stopped using TT for some reason, and Invasion From Below was made by different companies while HF got cancelled in that year for some reason. However, that episode and many other Lego media, like Bionicle: The Legend Reborn, followed the same pattern as the TT stuff, while most of them, like Ninjago, Legends of Chima, and Nexo Knights did a much better job with most of the characters and the scripts, even though some things seem like false advertising, like not all of them included everything from the sets. Along the way, Bionicle’s 2015 online shorts, Mixels and Unikitty did similarly while being 2-D animated. So, my point of this topic is this: What’s your review on TT’s Lego stuff and what’s up with them? For me, well, TT did a good job copying the sets, but it was kind of cheap with many qualities, like the accuracies to the sets and the scripts, which caused some inaccuracies to happen and the scripts to be wonky. Their stuff weren’t as popular as Ninjago or the Lego Movies. What do you think, guys? Do you think TT deserves a second chance?
  15. Hi, guys! You know, Hero Factory is known for having a “TV show” as the main medium that tells the story, and the TV show is actually a bunch of 22-minute episodes that act like specials that decreased by number every year until 2014 when it ended. Plus, there are five Secret Missions chapter books, which went from 2012 to 2013, some online games, which are pretty cool, and a song by Cryoshell for Breakout. Well, I wish here are more stuff. Plus, HF kept making some mistakes and missing some things. Not too satisfying. I tell you what. If I could change HF, it would be like this: 1. Make the TV show act like a real TV show, like Ninjago. I mean, have each season be based on one of the storylines and have at least 10-13 22-minute episodes. More screen time for some important characters would be nice, too. 2. Give more character development on the characters (well, the heroes are good, though some need to be worked on). I mean, the villains are just video game enemies and bosses to be defeated and never fully came back to be threats again. I would like to see that Von Nebula is the one responsible for the Breakout and using the plans to create a Villain Factory. The Galactic Conspiracy should either be excluded or be made significant. I also don’t know why that new rookie Hero and his villainous foe in Breakout were there when they have no story significance. Seriously. How things in HF’s story is weird. There are a lot of unresolved stuff, including those silly cliffhangers in Brain Attack and Invasion From Below, and the story hasn’t been finished before the theme ended. I would very strongly suggest these to be resolved and finished, respectively, and make the them go a little longer to accommodate that. Plus, have the Heroes make peace with the Jumpers from Invasion of Below instead of killing them. 3. I would love to have a water theme, ice theme, underground theme, and sky theme before the events of Breakout. We have Ordeal of Fire and Savage Planet (Jungle) in 2011, but these themes could be interesting. I would imagine them to be half-of-year-long themes with six of the Heroes each. Ordeal of Fire had Furno, Stormer, Surge, Breez, Nex, and Evo (2.0) and Savage Planet had Furno, Stormer, Rocka, Nex, Bulk, and Stringer (3.0), so these new themes of mine would go like this: First arrangement: Stormer, Furno, Rocka, Evo, Surge, and Breez (4.0), Second arrangement: Stormer, Furno, Rocka, Nex, Evo, and Bulk (5.0). Plus, other arrangements. You get the math here. 4. Have Vapor, Core Hunter, XT4, and Thornraxx appear in the TV show. I mean, seriously. Why leave them out? That’s annoying. Plus, have Bulk, Breez, and Nex appear in the TV show with their Breakout forms. 5. Make the characters in the TV show look more like the sets. I mean, Rotor having silver shoulder armor, like in the prototype version of his set? Seriously. Have the characters in 2011 have five fingers instead of four. 6. Give the characters in the Invasion From Below arc five characters instead of four. It’s a silly downgrade. 7. Have Stringer and Nex appear in Brain Attack and Invasion From Below. I mean, they’re absent. What’s up with that? No one wants to be chopped liver, you know. Plus, give them their own Brain Attack monsters and IFB mechs. 8. Fix the designs on the sets. Give some of the sets hands because they don’t have hands. Give Breakout Nex a second pair of cuffs, so he can capture XT4 completely. I could say that about Stormer when he fights against Speeda Demon. Make some of the sets’ arm look less weird. They look bent. Give Rotor and Vapor eye holes. Make Jawblade’s and Core Hunter’s wrists able to be cuffed. I mean, they’re so chunky that it’s hard to cuff them. 9. Fix the color schemes on the sets. There’s a lot of lime green. The silver on Breez is placed weirdly. I mean, Breez having a silver helmet? Not a good choice of color. Stringer needs to make up his mind with his secondary colors. Lol. 10. I don’t know why Brain Attack and Invasion From Below happened when there is a villain (probably Von Nebula) making a Villain Factory, so I would suggest have the Villain Factory be dealt before the events of those two arcs happen (where I would put Brain Attack in between). 11. Have Voltix and Core Hunter and all other escaped villains be recaptured, so they wouldn’t cause trouble more. 12. Have that live-action HF movie happen already. The Hollywood Reporter mentioned this back in April 2012 where Universal Studios is planning to get the right for it, but they haven’t done anything since. I wouldn’t trust Universal on anything, neither on Sony. I would trust Disney or Warner Bros. for this. Plus, put humans and the planet Earth there if that were to happen. I mean, it’s live-action. 13. Do a crossover with Bionicle and perhaps other constraction themes with original stories (Slizers/Throwbots and RoboRiders) to do a shared universe story (like the Marvel Cinematic Universe). I mean, they’re similar (and a friend of mine did say something like “Stormer is my favorite Bionicle character”, which is hilariously wrong. Lol.). I would like to think that Velika from Bionicle 2001-2010 actually would team up with the HF and Bionicle villains to try to take over the universe to bring order of his own way to it. I also like to think that the Great Beings from Bionicle 2001-2010 have created Mr. Makuro while Spherus Magna from Bionicle 2001-2010 was destroyed. It would make things much more interesting if that were to happen. 14. Make HF’s sets less expensive. 15. Have HF be promoted more. Those commercials and a bunch of other stuff made some things and sets under-promoted. Seriously. It’s like ignoring them. 16. Make the Invasion From Below episode be much more like the past episodes before it. I mean, it got cheap in quality, and it used voice actors that we don’t know. 17. Either re-continue HF and/or do a G2 (I would recommend finish G1 the most before G2). So, there. Man, what a mess that HF have made. It would be nice if my ideas have happened to make HF much better, like Bionicle. Seriously. What about you guys?
  16. I am looking to buy physical copies of the Hero Factory comics, as eBay searches only bring up 5, 6, and 7. As a result, I am much more interested in getting copies of 1-4, but would not be opposed to a bundle of all the comics. Please let me know if you have copies that you would be willing to sell. Open to negotiation, but please stay reasonable. Most comic book database sites have these books listed at or only slightly above MSRP. Thank you!
  17. Hi, guys! I see that constraction is gone this year. No sign of them in toy fair this year, either. You know, in this decade, constraction was getting weaker and weaker until it’s gone this year. It’s shocking to look at it this way. I bet constraction are complaining about it right now. Why does constraction deserve this terrible fate? Lego shouldn’t have done this. I think Lego is so busy with other Lego themes and has budget issues while Ninjago, The Lego Movies, Star Wars, and the Super Hero themes are popular. First, Bionicle G1 is gone, then Hero Factory, and lastly Bionicle G2. There’s no replacement for Bionicle G2, and their stories are unfinished. This is a cruel world we all live in now. (Crying in tears of sadness) To be honest, without constraction, I don’t know what to buy from Lego. I felt like that I have no great purpose in my life that makes me happy (Ninjago is something that I follow though, even though that I am more of a constraction person than a playset person, to be honest, but I like the TV show). We are in a dark age/Great Depression, y’all. I hope that Lego will bring the constraction category back somehow. Bionicle deserves a lot more praise and respect because it is one of Lego’s most popular themes in history and it saved Lego from babkruptcy when it began. Hero Factory is an okay theme, but I feel it could have potential, like Bionicle, and needed some improvement to fix things up. I hope that Lego could satisfy the fans by bringing back Bionicle G1 a little bit just to finish up the G1 story to resolve its unresolved stuff. Same goes to HF and Bionicle G2. Plus, a good Bionicle G3, HF G2, a Sonic Generations-equse crossover with Bionicle G1 and G2, a Bionicle and Hero Factory crossover and cinematic universe-equse theme in terms of story, good TV shows that are like Ninjago (like have 10-13 TV episodes per season while the season is based on a storyline), but be more accurate to the sets and have 3D animation be good 3D animation in the style of Transformers: Prime), either good 3D animated theatrical movies or theatrical live-action movies with humans and the planet Earth as the constraction themes’ own cinematic universe (in the more child-friendly style of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not the wacky The Lego Movies), and good TT Games Lego video games with console versions (in the style of the Super Heroes games, not The Lego Movie 2). I mean, I think the constraction deserve to have these good stuff. I feel that they have that potential. So, what do you think, guys? Man, I need these themes back in my life.
  18. Hi, guys! I know that Hero Factory ended 5 years ago, but if you are aware that Ninjago’s new wave of sets, Legacy, is basically a wave of remastered sets from the past in a modernized (with new pieces), we could think about remasters of Hero Factory sets to cheer ourselves up. Plus, Hero Factory is kind of successful, very strong theme at that, and is the second best constraction theme, so it should have this kind of treatment to have us think fondly of the past, but in a modernized way. People tend to think about the remasters nowadays. So, what sets would you like to be remastered? For me, well, here’s some stuff: 1. Preston Stormer - his Breakout form, but be more icy 2. William Furno - his Breakout form, but be like more fiery 3. Daniel Rocka - his Breakout form, but give him a sword and make his arms even 4. Dunkan Bulk - his Breakout form, but give his a big main gun, like a large cannon, or a drill. 5. Jimi Stringer - his Breakout form, but his secondary colors would be either yellow or orange, or just blue as it is. 6. Mark Surge - his Breakout form 7. Natalie Breez - her Breakout form 8. Julius Nex - his Breakout form, but give him a hand (literally) and another pair of Hero Cuffs 9. Nathan Evo - his Breakout form, but also give him a hand (literally) and make his arms even 10. XPlode and Rotor pack - Their arms need to be fixed. Plus, make his spikes shoot like guns, like in the TV show. Rotor’s arms need to have hands as well. Plus, put eye holes in his helmet. 11. Corroder and Meltdown pack - again, their arms need to get fixed (make Corroder’s arms bend-able) and give them actual hands. 12. Thunder - again, his arms need to be fixed and give him hands and the Nebula Gas Cannon. Plue, well, probably make him able to curl up like a ball. Plus, make the guy look symmetrical. 13. Vapor - again, his arms need to be fixed and give him hands. 14. Von Nebula - again, fix his arms and the place where his head is. Also, well, make his design look more impressive. 15. Drilldozer, Nitroblast, and Jetbug pack - make their heads look more unique and fix Drilldozer’s and Nitroblast’s arms and make them even. 16. Fire Lord 17. The Witch Doctor - make him look symmetrical and fix his arms and legs. Plus, give him a hand (literally) and his head look like an actual head. 18. Toxic Reapa, Jawblade, and Splitface pack - give TR and Splitface hands and make Jawblade’s wrists being able to get cuffed 19. Thornraxx and XT4 - make them look less weird. I mean, make Thornraxx look more like a bug with legs, give XT4 hands and make his head look less weird. Also, make their torsos less weird and bigger. 20. Core Hunter - well, fix his torso, make his Hero Core Removal Tool able to actually grab things, and make his wrists able to get cuffed. Make his arms not stubby, either. 21. Speeda Demon - well, I would imagine his vehicle being modernized. 22. Black Phantom and Voltix pack - well, probably make BP’s Arachnix drone red. Also, make Voltix’s arms not stubby. Plus, make him shoot from his horn-like things on the sides of his heads. Lego should really remaster those guys to help fans relive memories. This would be split into two waves and hopefully be less expensive. Perhaps put them in packs. I never included the vehicle, 2013, 2014, the enslaved animal sets much because they’re not as great as the ones that I listed. I know I put a lot of stuff in my list, but to be honest, I’m going with the Heroes the most because they are the main characters in general. Plus, it would be cool to have Von Nebula and Black Phantom and Voltix because they are like some of my favorite villains, too. What about you guys? What sets would you like remastered?
  19. Hi, guys! I know that Hero Factory has ended and there isn’t a G2 for it, but let’s just happy for something else. We could celebrate HF’s storyline in 2014 called Invasion From Below. It’s been five years, a week, and three days since this happened, as the Hero Factory website got updated with the 2014 content, including the online game with the TV episode. So, let’s celebrate the storyline’s 5th anniversary. Basically, the storyline is about the Heroes from the Brain Attack storyline in 2013, Stormer, Furno, Bulk, Surge, Breez, Evo, and Rocka, minus Stringer and Nex for some reason again, sadly, using their new mechs called Battle Machines to protect a city called Antropolis from a race of monsters called the Jumpers, which came from underneath the city. The storyline is extremely different from HF’s past years in many ways. It filled with playset-like constraction sets this time rather than constraction action figures, as there are new minifigure versions of the Heroes while they are using their mechs and fighting giant monsters. The website became square-ish again rather than vertical when you scroll it. Unlike the first ten TV episodes, this TV episode is very unique in various unhealthy ways, sadly. It did not come in Nickelodeon or Nicktoons this time, sadly, as it is kind of exclusive in the game itself. Plus, Lego had hired Ghost Animations and whatever other company to make this episode, like some kind of a Bionicle online video, rather than having Tinseltown Toons and Threshold Studios to do it. Plus, the popular actors are changed with completely new ones that we are not familiar with. The storyline is like the least best HF storyline, but let’s celebrate its 5th anniversary to cheer ourselves up. To celebrate IFB’s 5th anniversary, let me tell you the story in there. It’s all started when a bunch of miners from Antropolis were using a drill to create a tunnel underneath the city. However, the drill disappeared into a big cave under the city and awakened the Jumpers, which disturbed them and made them think that they were attacked, so the Jumpers kidnapped the miners. Other miners called Evo to investigate the situation, as Evo drove a a small Battle Machine called the Walker Machine. However, the Jumpers destroyed the machine, and then Evo discovered that the Jumpers, including giant mutated ones, are attacking the city, so he called his team, the Alpha 1 Team, for backup. The members of the team, Stormer, Furno, Bulk, Surge, Breez, and Rocka, arrived. Stormer, Furno, and Rocka used a new giant machine that can create Battle Machines to make their own Battle Machines to go fight the monsters while the other Heroes are fighting the monsters on their own. Evo stayed behind to make himself a new Battle Machine. While the Heroes were fighting the Jumpers, which are normally small and bug-like repilitian man-sized creatures with rhino-like heads that can jump high, are strong, and always attack their enemies without getting tired, they also fought the giant mutated versions of them, which are Jaw Beasts, purple male beasts that bite, and at least a Flyer Beast, a male yellow beast that have wings that allow him to fly, has a big clawed hand and uses a tower antenna as a weapon. Along the way, Breez learned that they can communicate like people, and Rocka saw what she meant. The mechs were destroyed by the Jumpers while Stormer was kidnapped by a Jaw Beast. After Furno’s mech was destroyed, Furno was running away from another giant beast called the Splitter Beast, which is a pair of two giant beasts that combine to form a monster with two heads. One of them is the bigger bipedal orange female beast with big hands with orange claws that uses a lamppost as a weapon while the other one is a smaller male blue beast that can be carried by the orange beast like a piggy back ride. When Evo finished his mech, which is the XL Battle Machine, he used it to fight the Splitter Beast while he and Furno worked together to defeat the beast. However, only the orange beast was defeated, as the blue one kidnapped Furno. Breez called Hero reinforcements to take care of the monsters on the city, as she and the remaining Heroes went inside the cave to save the miners and their friends there. End of the winter wave part. This is where the summer wave part begins. The Heroes saved the miners and then created new mechs for all of themselves to adapt to the cave. Breez read the readings in the cave that they shouldn’t go further, but they got no choice because they wanted to save their friends. When they are travelling further into the cave, they accidentally split up into two groups. One is Rocka and Surge going to an upper part of the cave where rocks are floating and have weird magnetic and gravitational properties while the other is Bulk, Breez, and Evo going to a lower part where there are crystals and lakes made of acid. Rocka and Surge fought some Jumpers and giant mutated ones called the Tunneller Beasts, which are red insect-like female beasts with clawed hands. One of those beasts kidnapped Surge, and Rocka got out of the upper part of the cave to go after Surge. Bulk, Breez, and Evo fought some Jumpers and giant mutated ones called the Crystal Beasts, which are female beasts with transparent blue body parts and spikes that have clawed hands and staffs that grab people. This group of Heroes managed to get out of the lower part of the cave. The remaining four Heroes went to the Jumpers’ nest, which is where their leader, the Queen Beast, who is the queen and the mother of the Jumpers, live and kept Stormer, Furno, and Surge hostage. The Heroes started fighting the queen, who is the biggest and most powerful of the Jumpers and giant mutated beasts that looks like an insect version of a centaur that has blue wings that allow her to fly, clawed hands, and is armed with a staff that grabs people, but she is too tough to defeat, all but Evo’s mech, which is the Spider Battle Machine, are destroyed during their journey. When the Heroes destroyed a part of the nest that made some of the Jumper cocoons fall into a lake made of acid, which killed the Jumpers inside, the queen got so angry that she called upon her minions to destroy the Heroes. The Heroes were surrounded and having a hard time fighting the Jumpers, but Breez made a plan, and the Heroes had to give her a chance. Breez talked to and convinced the queen to stop the invasion because no one was trying to attack her kind, as the queen told his kind to stop attacking the city. Then, peace is restored, and the Heroes and the Jumpers were in good terms, as the queen returned Stormer, Furno, and Surge to the remaining Heroes. When all the Heroes started to leave the nest, one of the Jumpers accidentally triggered one of the Heroes’ guns that killed some of the cocooned Jumpers, which angered the queen so much that she falsely blamed the Heroes for this and started attacking them again. However, Stormer used a canister from the Spider Battle Machine to stop the queen and destroy the nest, which caused the acid to kill the entire Jumper species, leaving no Jumper alive. The Heroes then used the Machine to get themselves out of the cave finally. The Heroes told the city’s people to close the cave to prevent more problems and make a brigade above the city. When the Heroes were going back home, but they didin’t notice that there is the last surviving Jumper in a cocoon stowed away in their Drop Ship. The end of the entire storyline. In fact, the end of the entire Hero Factory franchise’s story, but as an unresolved cliffhanger. Now, for the sets, well, it’s interesting that Lego was trying something new for the Hero Factory by giving it its own playsets like it did for Bionicle and that the playsets look kind of like the constraction action figures, but this is not the best idea. It’s a little good, but not the best idea. I’m more of an action figure person than a playset person, to be honest. I like the monsters more than the mechs, though, because they are very much like the action figures. I hate that there are a lot of stickers on the mechs. I’m not a sticker fan, either. The Jumpers, which are included in the mech sets, are fun to launch when you press their torsos to make them jump. There are 15 sets in total. Eight of them are in the winter wave while the other seven are in the summer wave. Some of them are primarily mechs while the others are giant beasts. One of them is both mech and giant beast set, though. They all have the Hero minifigures. The mech sets are pilots by Heroes, and some of them have containers that look like Meltdown’s and Nitroblast’s from the 2010 and 2011 sets. All but one of the mech sets in the winter wave are shaped like humans while all but one of the ones in the summer wave look like crawling insects. There is a crawling mech set in the winter wave, which is the Evo Crawler set, which is a very small set with three legs. Not much from it, but it looks cute. Lol. The human-shaped mech set in the summer wave is the Rocka Digger set, which is a very small set with the chainsaw hands. Not much from it, but it looks cute, too. Lol. Each Hero has his or her own mech set, even though that Surge is sharing his with Rocka in a summer set called the Surge & Rocka Combo Machine, which can split into two mechs where each is piloted by one of these Heroes. Plus, Evo and Rocka have more mechs than the other Heroes, where each has one mech. Some is the sets have Heroes without their mechs and are fighting the monsters alone. The Heroes have new molds that are like improvements to the minifigures in the Bionicle G1 era. The Heroes look like their 1.0 versions in 2010, but Bulk’s and Surge’s helmets are different for some reason while the episode is where their helmets look like the 1.0 versions. The Jumpers in the winter wave have black torsos while the summer wave sets feature Jumpers with blue torsos. There are six types of those Jumpers, and they are ones with black torsos with red legs, black torsos with orange legs, black with green, blue with red, blue with orange, and blue with green. The blue and red one is not shown in any of the sets for some strange reason, but you can mix and match if that makes you happy, and it is exclusive in the episode, I think, and the online game. The summer wave sets also have Jumper cocoons that are both eggs for the Jumpers and prisons for captured Heroes. They are made of four pieces. I think they are kind of cool. Good for storage. The giant beasts’ heads are made of two main jaw pieces, where one is longer than the other, and they can have spikes on them. The beasts also have those pointy black things on their tails, hands, and feet, and there are gold versions of these pieces in the Queen Beast’s Staff, if you know what I mean. Plus, they have these new foot pieces. All Jumpers in general are primarily black and with blue as a secondary color for most of the beasts. As how I feel about the sets, well, they are pretty cool, but are not my favorite HF sets in general. It’s cool that the mechs have these new seat pieces that can connect the Hero. Plus, it’s awesome that you can mix and match the equipment in the summer mechs as well as splitting up the Splitter Beast into two smaller beasts. I love Bulk’s mech because of the drill, Evo’s XL mech because it’s a big mech, like the Hulk from Marvel, and Surge’s and Rocka’s mech because it’s a big mech and can split up into two mechs. I like that you can connect pieces from the winter mechs to Evo’s XL Machine to give it four more arms with arsenal. As for the beasts, I think they are my favorite in this wave because, as I said before, are more like action figures than how the mechs are. I love the claws and heads. The normal Jumpers are cute. I love the Splitter Beast and the Queen Beast the best. Plus, I love the grabbing staffs from the Crystal Beast and the Queen Beast, as well as the Flyer Beast’s and the Queen Beast’s wings. It’s sad that there’s no Stringer or Nex in the sets. I would love to see what their mechs would look like. I wish the red and blue normal Jumper could have been included. As for the episode, I feel kind of negative for it, but it does have a few positive qualities. I love the graphics for how it looked like an improvement from the first ten episodes by having pupils, organically moving mouths, it uses the Heroes’ 1.0 helmets in a way, and the Heroes look like their action figure selves rather than their minifigure selves (they look like their 2.0 selves, in other words). However, the Heroes have four fingers per hand instead of five for some reason. I mean, this isn’t 2010 or 2011. We moved on. The Heroes look kind of plain-looking, but they need to fit onto the mechs, anyway. I love how the monsters look in the episode. They look more realistic menacing reptiles. Man, they are quite tough, like the Hulk from Marvel. As for the story, well, there isn’t much to it, sadly. There isn’t much character development, but I could see that the Heroes aren’t trusting Breez in talking with the creatures until the end when they are having a hard time fighting them in the nest. Breez is quite clever with her ability to talk to animals. What’s up with those Heroes? Seriously. She’s always helpful for them, even in the past with her ability. I mean, did they forget? Plus, where’s Stringer, Nex, Zib and Quadal, and Makuro? They disappeared for some reason? Why? Anyway, it’s interesting that Rocka acts like a second-in-command for the Heroes when Stormer and Furno were kidnapped. Well, he is one of the main protagonists in the franchise, after all. It’s cool that the Heroes can build their mechs like Lego sets, but why do it when there is an emergency? Plus, these things are getting easily destroyed like tissue paper. That’s being ridiculous as well. Plus, the Heroes are missing some weapons from their sets in the episode, like Furno’s sword in the Splitter Beast set. However, I do like the part where Stormer was having a little trouble with his mech. Lol. The monsters are like the Hulk, as they break everything in their path easily, and they don’t rest until everything opposing them is destroyed. That’s very cool. I see that they want peace for themselves, but they felt threatened by their confusion with the drill, so they attacked. I understand that they’re animals because of that. Not only animals. They are actually people who can communicate, like the animals in Hero Factory’s Savage Planet storyline. Sadly, I feel bad for the creatures for how they died because of the Heroes’ action against them. I mean, the Heroes only cared about protecting the city, even if it means making the creatures extinct (well, there’s one that they are unknowingly carrying). These things were trying to have peace, but this is ridiculous. What were the creators of the episode thinking? They at first thought about making peace, but they changed the ending where the “extinction” happened. This is just being silly. Also, why the unresolved cliffhanger? I hate those. It’s like Brain Attack and Bionicle 2001-2010. Again, this is just being silly. Well, we did see the Heroes’s heads without their helmets for the first time (unlike the Bionicle movies and the first ten HF episodes). They look a little plain generic, but alright. I mean, they don’t look too ugly. Well, maybe a little bit. Why don’t the other companies do that’s in the past? Now, for how the episode is made overall, I find the change of companies and how things went with the storyline weird. I mean, seriously, what’s going on, Lego? Why the new companies and the new unpopular voice actors that we are not familiar with? It could do much better than that. And then, the franchise ended. The episode is kind of like the Brain Attack episode in 2013, but much worse. This is a polar opposite of how you can say good things about Steven Universe. Dang. The episode is like the worst of the episodes. Why didn’t have it played on Nickelodeon or Nicktoons, too? That’s also ridiculous. Plus, the storyline shows that the constraction category is going downhill (even Legends of Chima’s action figures in 2014 weren’t shown in that year’s Toy Fair for some reason). As for the game, it is where you play as the Heroes as you collect three pieces for the mechs. You have to watch out for the normal Jumpers, otherwise they will defeat you. When you completed your mech, you go to fight against a beast, who is a boss in the level. You also have to watch out for obstacles in that monster’s area. If your mech is destroyed, you go back to rebuild it to continue fight the beast until you defeat it. The online game is one thing, and there is an app version of it, where you buy two downloadable pieces of content to play two more levels. I played the game. I say that the game is fun, but not the best in my opinion. Plus, you can’t have Evo’s Walker mech, fight the Flyer Beast, or the beasts that form the Splitter Beast individually. That’s sad. As for the combo models, well, they look cool, but not the best, either. The mech combos look cool. I like the monster combos the best, though. Sadly, they are not canon. As for the comics in the instruction manuals in the sets, well, they look good, but not the best. I wish they could have longer stories, and it’s too bad that they aren’t canon. So, there you have it. That storyline is like the worst of the HF storylines. No joke. I’m sorry if I sounded negative in some parts, but that’s how I feel, to be honest. We had Bionicle coming back in 2015, anyway. Thumbs up for that. Plus, some of the new pieces introduced in the storyline are featured in some Lego themes after HF ended, like Legends of Chima, Bionicle 2015-2016, Ninjago, Star Wars, and Lego Dimensions, as they have those pointy insect things, the monster feet, the Heroes’ arms, and the Queen Beast’s wing pieces that look like Ben 10 sets’ tail pieces, but they are skeletal. The episode was called the most watched video in the Lego website, anyway. Anyway, how would you celebrate the 5th anniversary of the storyline? Plus, what is your favorite set in the storyline? Favorite characters? Favorite parts of the episode? What reminds you of the storyline? Well, I would rewatch the episode and play with the IFB sets. I collected all of the sets. My favorite characters are Rocka and Bulk. My favorite parts are when Stormer is having trouble with his mech, Breez wresting the Flyer Beast, Surge and Rocka using their Combo mech, Bulk kicking some monster butt, and Breez making peace with the monsters. The things that remind me of the storyline are: 1. The Pacific Rim movies in 2013 and 2018 - they are very similar. Lol. 2. Bionicle - many things. Nidhiki is like the Queen Beast, the Bahrag are like the Queen Beast, the Visorak, The Skull Spiders, the Shadow Traps, and the Elemental Beasts are like the Jumpers, and how the 2008 Toa Nuva Makuta, the Toa Uniters, and Umarak combine with their little partners remind me of the Splitter Beast. 3. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014 - the Rhino reminds me of Jaw Beast. 4. Kirby: Right Back at Ya! - Dyna Blade and her chick are like the Queen Beast and her children because the mother protects her baby, and if anything threatens the baby, the mother can get angry and attack the ones that caused this. The mothers are very powerful and giant beasts, so they are hard to be defeated. Plus, they are not actually evil, as they just want to protect their babies, even if it means harming good-hearted and are stubborn when they listen to them.

  21. Hi, guys! I know that Hero Factory ended sadly, but let’s be happy about HF something else. You see, this year, 2018, is the 5th anniversary of HF’s storyline called Brain Attack in 2013. So, let’s celebrate the 5th anniversary of the 2013 storyline. Let me tell you the Brain Attack storyline: It was started when the Alpha 1 Team (Stormer, Bulk, Furno, Breez, Evo, and Rocka) are celebrating with their people from Makuhero City for their successfulness. They got a monument with their statues to commemorate with their successfulness. The Heroes are like celebrities or superheroes to be praised. Surge, however, doesn’t like interacting with people while talking to Breez about it. Meanwhile, a mysterious villain that looks like Black Phantom from the Breakout storyline in 2012, but with different horns, is creating big brain-like parasites with spikes and long tails called the Brains in a secret base in an asteroid. He also uses plans that are about the Hero Factory building and stolen by Black Phantom in the past storyline to have the Brains attack the Hero Factory organization, so they wouldn’t stand in his way. He put the Brains in little rockets and launches them from his base, and they are heading to the Hero Factory’s home planet. When the Brains arrived on different environments on the planet, they jump onto a lot of the planet’s different animals’ heads to mutate them into monsters and mind-control them while the Brains attach themselves on the animals’ heads. These creatures include: 1. Pyrox - a red creature that was once a small bull that can resist being in lava and lived in a volcano, but got mutated into a big Minotaur-like monster that has black legs, red claws on the left hand, long black horns, and a staff-like weapon that spins around and shoot fire and lava. 2. Scarox - a gold creature that was once a small beetle that lived in a desert, but got mutated into a human-sized version of itself that has green poisonous fangs and four insect claws for arms. 3. Bruzier - a big gray rocky creature that was once a rock golem that lived in a mountain that eats jewels, but got mutated into a strong spiky monster with a big and spiked right arm, and his left hand is holding a dagger. 4. Ogrum - a big green creature that was once an ogre-like creature that lived in a jungle and eats mushrooms, but got mutated into a bulky and plant-based monster that has big brown hands, vines on the right hand that stretch like a rubber band, grab things, and regrow when being cut, a frail being held in his left hand, and fangs. 5. Aquagon - a yellow aquatic creature that was once a fish-like creature that lived and swam in an ocean, but got mutated into a human-shaped monster that can breathe air, walk on land, and is armed with two blue swords that can combine into a two-sided weapon. 6. Frost Beast - a big white creature that was once a yeti-like creature that lived in a snowy environment, but got mutated into a spiked monster that has blue claws on his left hand, a blue sword being held in his right hand, and can shoot ice from his mouth. 7. Dragon Bolt - a big blue dragon that has big wings that can fly and a strong tail with two spikes that was once a normal creature that lived in a cave in a jungle, but got mutated into a powerful monstrous version of himself that spits electric fireballs from its mouth. After the mutations, the Brains head to Makuhero City to attack it. One of Hero Factory’s staff members named Nathaniel Zib notices this, so he lets the Heroes know about it. The Heroes got upgraded with new armor that has locking clamps that protect their Hero Cores, helmets with visors with various functions that flip if they want to battle or not, and new weapons. After that, the Heroes notice the attack, Furno, who is in his XL form, which is the size of the Hulk from Marvel, is shown to be a commander of many Hero teams, including his own, as he commands some to go to different places in the city. He tells Surge to go defend the Hero Factory building while the others fight the monsters, even though that Surge is annoyed by that because he wants to do action outside the building. When the Alpha 1 Team found the monsters marching on the city’s streets, they don’t want to harm them because they are innocent animals that are controlled by the Brains. The Heroes defend themselves on the streets while Evo patrol the city’s sewers to fight the Aquagons. While Surge was defending the building, he is attacked and outnumbered by a bunch of Brains. The Heroes are worried that they are going to get tired out, but Bulk figures out a way to defeat the Brains, which is to hit the Brains’ spikes to remove them from the monsters to turn them back to normal. Bulk tells the Heroes about this, so they are able to defeat the Brains. Dragon Bolt shows up and breaks through the building by breaking through the walls while something happens to Surge because Surge went inside the building’s Assembly Tower for some reason. Rocka goes to fight the dragon while the rest of the Alpha 1 Team goes to find Surge in the Tower. Rocka finds Dragon Bolt in a room in a building and a big hole that he made. Rocka fights and tries to defeat the dragon, but the dragon while Rocka and then Rocka gets trapped in a room with weapons. However, Rocka finds a big jet pack with blasters, so he uses it to fight the dragon, Rocka then defeats the dragon by removing the Brain from the dragon’s head, freeing and turning the dragon back to normal. Meanwhile, the other Heroes finds Surge, who got controlled by a Brain and created an army of blank Heroes to fight the Heroes. The Heroes fight the army while Breez goes to stop Surge from creating more blank Heroes to destroy the Factory. The blank Heroes may be mindless drones, but the Alpha 1 Team would get tired out if they keep on fighting. Breez removes the Brain from Surge, freeing him. Surge stops making more blank Heroes and shuts them down to end the fight. The Brains are defeated and all of their possessed slaves are freed, ending their attack. The Heroes imprison the Brains and help repair the city that got damaged by the Brains. Surge changes his mind into wanting to help the citizens of the city repair it. Meanwhile, two Hero Factory workers go into the hole to investigate it, and they find a bunch of Brains hiding there. They attack the workers. That’s about it in the main storyline. This was never resolved. However, there are more adventures that involve the Brains. They were started when the Brains were heading to the Hero Factory’s planet, a solar storm split the swarm of Brains into two groups, one that arrived on the planet while the other went elsewhere. The Heroes first encountered this group in a space ship called the Valiant. The Brains controlled the ship’s robotic crew there. However, the Heroes freed the crew from the Brains. Later on, when Stringer was on another planet, he was attacked by the Brains and got controlled by one of them. The whole planet got attacked by the Brains while some members of a secret robotic conspiracy were doing a secret project, which was a weapon called Project Sunstorm that they would use to go against Hero Factory. The conspiracy used the Valiant to cover their intentions. The Heroes went to save Stringer and the whole planet from the Brains. When one of the conspiracy members named Karter was destroying the project, the Heroes arrested him because they wanted to examine the project and didn’t want it to be in the wrong hands. Later on, some of the Alpha 1 Team, who are Stormer, Furno, Breez, and Bulk, accidentally got sent to an alternate universe by a power generator. The universe is where the Alpha 1 Team’s villainous enemies, Von Nebula, the Legion of Darkness, and Core Hunter, took over the universe, the Heroes were defeated and went into hiding, and the Brains are bigger, have wings that fly, can shoot powerful laser beams, and communicate telepathically. The prime universe’s Heroes helped this universe’s Heroes defeat the villains, repair Hero Factory, and save the universe from the villains. The prime universe Heroes then went back to their universe and find Karter, who was planning to destroy the Hero Factory, talking to the conspiracy’s leader with a communicator, but Stormer stopped him from destroying the factory and threatened the conspiracy’s boss. The boss killed Karter. The whole thing with the conspiracy went unresolved, too. To celebrate, let me ask you this: What are your fond memories about the storyline and/or what do you like about it? For me, the Heroes look very cool. I like the new armor that have the locking clamps on their Hero Factory. The visors are pretty neat, as you can open and close them by flipping them over the Heroes’ helmets, but attaching them to the Heroes’ heads is weird. The design on the helmet are pretty good. I like that they are versions of the Heroes’ 2012 helmets. I like Rocka’s sword and shield. I like that the shield has two blades that spin around. I like the secondary green color scheme on Rocka. I like Bulk’s drill weapon with the flick missile launcher and his shield. I like his secondary orange color scheme. Breez has a cool two-bladed weapon that looks like an archer bow. I also like her saw shield. I like the light green and dark green color schemes on her. I am too fond of Breez’s helmet being silver, though. I like that you can store those Heroes’ shields on their backs. Furno XL looks awesome with that form! I love his sword, shield, cape, and flame pieces! He looks a bit skinny for his XL form, though. Evo looks cool, and I like his staff with the two blades that bend and his dagger. I also like the fact that you can store the staff on Evo’s back. He doesn’t look like that he has water-based equipment, though. Stormer looks very cool. I love his sword, shield, flick missile launcher, and spiked armor. Surge looks very cool, and I like his electric weapon that can spin, like Pyrox’s staff, and wings that fold and have flick missiles. Jet Rocka looks very cool. I love his big jet pack, the weapons (the flick missiles, plasma blasters from the 2012 storyline, and the blades) on it, and the green and white color schemes! It’s quite interestingly weird that Rocka’s body got lengthened to make him look like a Titan figure in that set, though. I don’t like stickers in there, either. Too bad that there are no sets for Stringer or Nex. I mean, why didn’t they have their own 2013 sets? Bummer. As for the villains, well, they look pretty cool. I love the squishy Brain pieces, and they are kind of cute. It’s cool that you can attach the Brains’ bodies onto the villains’ heads. Plus, how you can put the villains’ faces onto their faces is like Toa Metru’s masks from Bionicle 2001-2010. The Brains make the villain’s necks sort of stiff when you attach them, though. Pyrox looks very cool! I love his spinning staff, claws, and horns, and he looks fearsome! Though, his big head is sort of stiff. Scarox has a neat gold color, and I love his claws and fangs, and the fact that he has four arms. His arms are sort of weird, though, because they are short. Bruizer’s name sure fits him because he is sure bulky and strong. I like his arm and the swing function in it. Cool. The arm is a little stiff, though. Ogrum looks cool and menacing. I like his fangs, frail, and vines, and it’s nice to see light green, dark green, and brown color schemes on him because he is based on a plant. He looks like that he is missing a fourth vine on his right hand, though. Plus, combining hands with his arms sure makes his arms look weird. Aquagon looks very cool, and I love his blue swords. Frost Beast’s name is kind of not creative. He would need a better name like his fellow monsters. However, he looks cool and menacing, and I like his bulky sword, claws, and spikes. Dragon Bolt is awesome, and I love his lightning pieces, tail, head that chomps, Brain that glows in the dark, and those giant wings that look like that it is made of blades! It’s neat that he has a button that you can use to flap his wings, and he’s big. Anyway, his name sounds like “lightning bolt”. Neat name. His body looks kind of disproportionate, though, as you can compare his head to his body. I wish that his Brain’s body would glow in the dark rather than just its eyes and spikes, too. I see that most of the characters released in sets are based on Knights and medieval mythology, like how most of the Heroes look like knights, Pyrox looks like a Minotaur, Bruizer a rock golem, Ogrum an ogre, and Dragon Bolt a dragon. Plus, each of the Heroes have their own monster counterpart to fight against because of their similar abilities and traits. Here’s how it is: 1. Furno vs. Pyrox - red color and fire 2. Rocka vs. Scarox - gold color 3. Bulk vs. Bruizer - gray color, and Bruzier is based on rocks while Bulk has a drill. Plus, both of them are tough and strong guys. 4. Breez vs. Ogrum - green color, and Ogrum is based on plants while Breez has a sharp bow and saw shield. 5. Evo vs. Aquagon - yellow color and water 6. Stormer vs. Frost Beast - white color, ice, and spiked armor 7. Surge vs. Dragon Bolt - blue color, electricity, and flying I wonder what would Stringer’s and Nex’s monster counterparts be and look like if the Heroes would have their own sets? I’ll bet they would be black and orange, respectively. Too bad that there are no such sets existed. Plus, there is no set for that mysterious villain who created and unleashed the Brains, either. Anyway, I love the new pieces in the storyline. I like the new transparent heads, swords, Hero Factory shield pieces (two of them can connect to make an “H” for Hero Factory. Nice.), visors, Brain pieces, and those flame pieces. Nice choice of colors with those pieces in the sets as well, though I wish there are red heads for sets with red pieces. The flick missiles are neat. As for the combo models, there are only seven, and each is made of one of the Heroes and its monster counterpart. These combo models look like Heroes getting upgraded as they have bulky features that belong to their monsters. They look very cool. They’re not canon, though. As for the story and media, well, the story is pretty good, but could’ve been better. It doesn’t sound much. I mean, the only thing that the Brains did was to try to attack Hero Factory, and we don’t know who that villain is and why he did all of this. We don’t know anything about this conspiracy, either. Stringer and Nex weren’t involved with the battle in the city for some reason, either. Plus, Mission: Catch ‘Em and Cuff ‘Em from the 2012 storyline is still there. Shouldn’t it be done over with after the storyline is over? These are quite annoying. There is a little bit of character development, and there are some questionable things in the storyline. Surge was complaining about interacting with citizens, but Breez is trying to convince him to get used to it. Surge loves to do action outside of the factory. Plus, he is a funny guy who gets into funny situations, though, even if he is in danger. Lol (like when he tried to get a Brain away from him with his lightning blades, he accidentally shocked himself to dance like Michael Jackson uncontrollably). I like the he learned his lesson about interacting with the people, too. Breez is a cool Hero who is very talented. I don’t understand why she was too scared to talk to Brain-controlled animals. Lol. I’m glad that Bulk is able to figure things out rather than being just a fighter, and he used some references from The Avengers in 2012 (Captain America’s throwing shield move and Hulk Smash, as he said “Bulk Smash”). Lol. Since when Furno is the commander of many Hero teams? Man, he’s growing up fast, but why having this position for some reason? I like that Rocka is being productive when he was fighting Dragon Bolt alone. I mean, he used the jet pack to fight the dragon like how Optimus Prime from Transformers: Dark of the Moon used his jet pack. I don’t see much from Stormer or Evo, though, but I like that Stormer is a cool fighter whose weapons can freeze things and Evo can swim and fight underwater. Anyway, shouldn’t Evo and Rocka become veteran members of their team because of their actions? I think they should be (I don’t know about Nex, but I think he should be, too). The Brains and their monsters are quite funny. Lol. For the side characters, including Quadal, Daniella Capricorn, and her camera-bot, they are funny. For the media, there is one 22-minute TV episode, three Secret Missions chapter books, and a guide book that is about the whole Hero Factory story from 2010 to 2013. The episode is alright, but could’ve been better. The animation is good, though there are some silly things. The normal Bruziers have two big arms before the Brains controlled them, the normal Frost Beasts have two claws before the Brains controlled them, Bulk and Breez not being in their 2012 forms, and the monsters’ weapons came out of nowhere. I like the humor, though. Man, the monsters in there are quite scary. The Brains are cute, though. Plus, I don’t know why Furno’s voice actor replaced in this episode, but I like Josh Keaton, man! Anyway, again, a short story, like a special. Sadly, that is the last episode to be played on TV. The chapter books are okay. It’s nice to see Stringer and Nex in one of them, and it’s interesting that there is that conspiracy. It would be cool that the conspiracy would have been the main villains in a future storyline, but it never happened. Plus, these books are the last chapter books, depressingly. The guidebook is very cool, and it provides some good and interesting intel. There’s online and app game called Brain Attack, based on the storyline, where you play as your made-up Hero to fight the Brains and their monsters in different parts of the city by shooting at them. You can use codes from the sets’ Hero Core pieces to gain some points, so you can use them to buy some stuff easier. I played and liked the game. It was fun and a good game, though I feel that it is missing a few things. There’s also an app where you can make your face look like one of the monsters. I don’t know what to say about it. There’s also comics and Hero Factory’s website contents. Well, there is one comic issue that is about Jet Rocka fighting against two Dragon Bolts. It’s good and funny, but not the best issue. The website contents showed more alternate universes, which is, well, interesting. Plus, I remembered that Hero Factory’s website has this silly page that goes vertically when you scroll in it. The website has some interesting videos, and these vary a lot. Many of them are silly, and I like the ones that are about the Brains attacking the animals. It’s weird that the episode came out in the website first when being on TV for some reason, and I don’t know why the episode doesn’t show those videos completely. Not the best version of the website, but alright. Anyway, Lego provided instruction on combining the Furno XL set with the CHI Laval set from Legends of Chima to make a bulkier version of the Laval set that is more like Laval’s minifigure form. That’s spontaneous, but I find it cool. Sadly, we have a lot of unresolved stuff here and there in the storyline. It’s a bit of a mess. Never did the 2014 storyline talked about them. Overall, the storyline is not the best storyline, but it is good in a few ways. I believe that’s where Lego is having a budget problem that got worse than in 2012. So, guys, what are your fond memories of the storyline, what do you like about it, what’s your favorite 2013 set, favorite character(s) in 2013, favorite moment in the storyline, what things remind you of the 2013 storyline, and/or how would you celebrate it? For me, well, my favorite sets are Furno XL, Stormer, Surge, Bulk, Pyrox, Aquagon, Frost Beast, Dragon Bolt, and Jet Rocka to be honest, and my favorite characters are Furno, Surge, Stormer, Rocka, and Dragon Bolt. I remember talking to my friends about the storyline five years ago and this year in Instagram. The things that remind me are: 1. Krang, the Utrom, and the Kraang from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise - they are brain-like aliens who come to attack heroes’ home planet and mutate living beings into monsters (the 2012 storyline, at least). 2. Dr. Amino from the Ben 10 franchise - he mutated animals into his monstrous servants. 3. The Xenomorphs/DNAliens from Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien - these evil creatures are like the Brains by latching onto their hosts’ heads to mind-control them. 4. Optimus Prime from Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011, Transformers: Age of Extinction in 2014, and Transformers: The Last Knight in 2017 - In Dark of the Moon, Optimus has a jet pack with many weapons, like Rocka with his jet pack. In the other two movies, Optimus looks kind of like a knight and has a powerful sword, like the Heroes who have swords. 5. Nexo Knights - the Nexo Knights kind of remind me of the Heroes’ 2013 forms. 6. Tahu from Bionicle - Tahu is like Furno because they have fire powers and fire-based swords. Plus, Tahu’s 2015 look has similar legs as Furno’s. 7. Kopaka from Bionicle - Kopaka is similar to Stormer because they have ice powers, swords, shields, and special headwear that tells them things. 8. Umarak and the Elemental Beasts from Bionicle 2015-2016 - their faces remind me of Aquagon’s a little. Quake Beast and Bruzier has similar big right arms, and they are strong monsters that are based on rocks. 9. Lewa from Bionicle - Surge is like Lewa over there by accidentally looking for trouble. Lol. 10. The Toa Metru from Bionicle 2001-2010 - how you put the Brain Attack villain sets’ faces on their heads is like how you place the Toa Metru’s masks on their faces. 11. The Krana from Bionicle 2001-2010 - how the Brains control their hosts is like the Krana. 12. The Lightning Dragon from Ninjago - that dragon reminds me of Dragon Bolt. 13. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug in 2013 - that scene where the Dwarves and Bilbo Baggins fight Smaug by using their surroundings against him is like in the Brain Attack game where you use your surroundings to defeat Dragon Bolt. 14. The Skrill from DreamWorks’ Dragons TV show - that dragon reminds me of Dragon Bolt 15. Predaking from Transformers: Prime - that dragon-based character kind of reminds me of Dragon Bolt because of the head and the spiked tail. Both of them were introduced in 2013. 16. The Jaggerwocky from Alice in Wonderland in 2010 - that dragon kind of reminds me of Dragon Bolt because he shoots electricity from his mouth and has spikes. 17. Bionicle: The Legend Reborn in 2009 - the scene in the Hero Factory episode where normal Scarox was wandering in the desert is like that scene in B:TLR where Click was wandering in the desert while finding the Mask of Life. 18. Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014 - Electric shooting electricity from his mouth reminds me of Dragon Bolt.
  22. Hi, guys! Since Bionicle G2 ended abruptly and rudely in 2016, there is no constraction replacement with an original story by Lego now (Not like how Hero Factory replaced Bionicle G1 in 2010). Let's talk about the history of constraction. The first constraction theme is Slizers/Throwbots in 1999-2000, and it has elements from a Lego theme called Technic. It was replaced by the second constraction theme called RoboRiders in 2000. This theme also ended in the same year. These dudes lasted shortly, and they barely have stories. RoboRiders is replaced by the very theme that we and love, Bionicle G1 in 2001-2010. This one is the most successful and famous of the constraction themes, and it has an epic story. The theme got a lot of media, including four direct-to-video movies, chapter books, comics, online serials, video games, and online games. There's also music videos promoting the theme's certain storylines. The building system in Bionicle changed over time to become better. Sadly, this theme ended in 2010 probably because Lego had money problems in 2010, and its story hasn't ended as it stopped in 2011. It then got replaced by Hero Factory in the same year. Like Bionicle, it has a story and is successful, but it is second most successful of the constraction theme and has the second best story in the constraction themes. The theme has a TV show with 22-minute episodes, online and app games, chapter books, and comics. It also introduced the Character and Creature Building System, or CCBS for short, in 2011. HF ended in 2014 probably because Bionicle came back as a reboot called G2 in 2015. HF had waning successfulness for some reason, anyway. Also like Bionicle G1, HF's story hasn't ended, sadly. As for Bionicle G2, it had online animated videos that tell the main story, chapter books, graphic novels, and a Netflix show with 4 22-minute episodes. Sadly, Bionicle got cancelled again abruptly and rudely in 2016 for some reason (I mean, we just got it back). Well, G2's successfulness was declining, anyway. it's like the Amazing Spider-Man movie series in 2012-2014 all over again. The replacement for G2 never happened in 2017 or this year for some reason. Right now, there are Star Wars constraction still being made nowadays, even though there are a few sets each year. Of course, there are more Lego themes that are sort of like constraction, which are Galidor, Knights Kingdom, and Exo-Force, all in the 2000s. Lego Ben 10 was like that, too. When CCBS happened, many playset themes in the 2010s used it, and they are Super Heroes, Legends of Chima, and currently Star Wars. Ones before Star Wars lasted shortly. Plus, there are some other themes that are like constraction, but they are made of bricks, and these themes are Mixels in 2014-2016 and Nexo Knights' mech sets in 2017. To sum this up, I would say that constraction has been going on from 1999 to 2016 by original Lego themes (It's been like 17 years). It seems that constraction is failing this decade (might explain the Bionicle G1, G2, and Hero Factory's problems with waning successfulness.). Right now, people are interested in Ninjago (this decade's minifgure equivalent to Bionicle), Lego Super Heroes, Lego Movies, and Star Wars primarily. Boy, things aren't looking too good for constraction. The Lego constraction themes were keeping the category alive, but with no replacement, it's getting weaker. We don't even know when will the replacement come. Now, that's where we are going to talk about how would you like the replacement to be if it could happen. So, yeah, how would you guys like it to be? Well, for me, I have some ideas: 1. Something similar to Bionicle by using the building systems in 2001-2003 and 2006, and all figures should have bendable limbs. Don't make them look too weird or faulty designs on the joints (the Bionicle 2016 sets have this problem), and give the sets good color schemes. Also, their final designs shouldn't leave anything out (Bionicle's Caparar and Nuparu Mahri in 2007 have this problem by abandoning their weapons. You could look at Kongu Mahri because he never kept his main weapon, too.). Make all the sets equal in every way, like having all masks in many possibilities (Bionicle G2 and probably Hero Factory has this problem. Not every G2's Toa has a Skull foe to fight or mask to recover, specifically, for example.). 2. If either Bionicle G3, Hero Factory G2, or a completely new theme, it or they should have a good story, as good as Bionicle G1 or Ninjago, and if or they could use references about other original Lego constraction themes for fun. Or A theme that is a constraction equivalent to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where original Lego constraction themes, Bionicle, Hero Factory, Slizers/Throwbots, and RoboRiders, have a crossover by sharing the same universe and work together to fight evil Avengers-style. Either way, this theme should have humans and Planet Earth in there. If that crossover theme, it would be called "Lego Constraction Universe". Here are my ideas about that, too: - Phase 1: -- First year would be --- Winter - Bionicle - Toa Mata/Toa Masters as the main heroes who can keep their personalities and elemental powers from G1 (Lewa being a Toa of Air again). It's optional to have Pohatu having a Batman-like personality from G2 because I love it. Lol. The main villain would be any Bionicle villain, not a new one. At the end of that storyline, there would a foreshadowing thing that hints crossover. --- Summer - Hero Factory - The first six Heroes as the main characters and can keep their personalities from their G1, not like Invasion From Below (because they were just acting like Stormtroopers from Star Wars). Main villain would be Black Phantom. It would be cool if there are some Bionicle references and Easter Eggs in there, and would still do the same foreshadowing thing. -- Second Year: --- Winter - Slizers/Throwbots - Characters stay the same as their G1, but with an actual story and better character development. There would be references and Easter Eggs from the other themes. Again, foreshadowing thing happening. --- Summer - RoboRiders - Same as Slizers, but also with an identified villain. Again, there would be references and Easter Eggs from the other themes and the foreshadowing thing happening, but this thing hint an Avengers-equse crossover next year. -- Third Year. It would be like the Avengers movie in 2012, where the main heroes from the previous themes (at least Tahu from Bionicle, Preston Stormer from Hero Factory, good-hearted Slizer leader, and good-hearted RoboRider leader. They're all leaders.) working together and form a special team to stop Black Phantom from collecting magical cube-shaped objects, which the themes hinted in the past and found on the heroes' worlds and Planet Earth, to try to take over the whole universe. I picked Black Phantom to be the main villain because I would love to see him as a mix of Avengers' Loki and Steppenwolf from the Justice League movie in 2017 by wearing a horned helmet like those villains and being Hulk-from-Marvel-sized like Steppenwolf. BP would have new villains or minions (from other themes, and not completely new villains) to assist him. There would be six worlds that Black Phantom would travel to to search for the six cubes, one cube in each world, which are Spherus Magna and the Great Spirit Robot from Bionicle, Makuhero City from Hero Factory, the Slizers' world, the RoboRiders' world, and the Planet Earth. The cubes would either be either the Doom Box(es) from Hero Factory's first chapter book or not, and BP would use them for his evil plan to take over the universe. The heroes would have a boss to guide them, whether be a certain Turaga from Bionicle, Mr. Makuro from Hero Factory, or someone else. The heroes would have new looks, like the Toa being in their Toa Uniter forms. The Slizers and RoboRiders would also kind of act like Dinobots from Transformers to other heroes by being clumsily destructive. Lol. End of Phase 1 - Phase 2 -- Fourth year: Bionicle - The Toa Mata becoming Toa Nuva (but Tahu would stay that way in this story this time) and fight against a new villain. Heroes and villains from other themes would appear in there as cameos or with major appearances. This villain would smuggle and use technology from other themes and this one, too. Imagine the Piraka got some stuff from some Hero Factory villains, like Von Nebula or Black Phantom, for example? -- Fifth year: Hero Factory - The Heroes getting their 2.0 upgrade to fight against a new villain. Heroes and villains from other themes would appear in there as cameos with major appearances. This villains would smuggle and use technology from other themes and this one, too. Imagine Von Nebula's or Black Phantom's gangs of villains getting weapons from some Bionicle villains, like the Brotherhood of Makuta, and Vortixx's Xian weapons from Bionicle? Also, add New, Eco, and Rocka in there. -- Sixth year: Another crossover year - The team of heroes go fight against a villain, like Von Nebula, Makuta Teridax, or Velika from Bionicle. If Makuta Teridax, he would be like Ultron from Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2016 by infecting technology. Either of these bad guys would be this theme's equivalent to DC Comics' Darkseid and Marvel's Thanos by being one or two of the heroes' toughest and worst villains. The Toa would get Adaptive Armor from Bionicle, the Hero Factory Heroes would be in their Breakout looks, and the heroes would use each other's technologies to make themselves better in fighting than how they usually do. End of Phase 2 - Phase 3 -- Seventh year - Bionicle vs. Hero Factory - Someone evil made Toa and Hero Factory Heroes fight each other. It would be like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016 (but much better) and Captain America: Civil War in 2016. Imagine Tahu, Toa of Fire, and Stormer, Hero who use ice, fight each other like this, for example? Stormer would be like Batman while Tahu would be like Superman. The Heroes would use equipment that use the Toa's weaknesses to beat them while the Toa Nuva use Adaptive Armor and their smarts to counter the Heroes' attacks, even if the Heroes' technology is more advanced than the Toa's. -- Eighth year - Slizers vs. RoboRiders - Someone evil made those heroes fight each other. Same hero-vs.-hero scenario, but with these guys, instead. -- Ninth (maybe final) year - After the heroes got over their wars with each other, they had to fight against their greatest villainous foe, who would be either Von Nebula, Makuta Teridax, Velika, or someone else completely new and responsible for the theme's events just to do his master plan, which is to collect 1-7 magical artifacts that could allow him to take over the universe. It would be like DC Comics superheroes fighting Darkseid and Marvel superheroes fighting against Thanos, even in Avengers: Infinity War coming this year. That would be a big final battle. End of Phase 3 Maybe end of the whole theme because Bionicle G1 lasted for nine years, so I thought it would be okay for Lego to end the theme after this time. I pick the idea of the crossover because Lego is not doing well with making new franchises for the constraction category now (Look at Hero Factory's Invasion From Below and Bionicle G2), so I thought reusing old stuff would make something new out of them. Plus, people wouldn't say silly stuff, like "Stormer is my favorite Bionicle", which is not true about Stormer (a friend of mine once said that. Lol.). I would say that a shared universe like this would be a huge improvement for the old themes and probably the constraction category as a whole. It's called a renaissance. 3. A TV show with 10-13 22-minute episodes per season. No Netflix, and the show would be on Cartoon Network or Disney XD, and the primary source of story that shows character development greatly and better than other media. Make all characters in their sets equal to each other in every way in all media (Bionicle G2 and Hero Factory have this problem. Kopaka never had his mask stolen, specifically, for example). Don't make stuff in the story look confusing, not even to the sets, and don't make too silly. Just have a good amount of comedy and a super-great and dominant amount of action. Also, no unresolved stuff, rude cancellations, or rushing before the theme ends. Plus, a theatrical movie(s), which could be either a Lego Movie with positive reviews this time (unlike The Lego Ninjago Movie, which sort of disappointingly got mixed reviews) or a live-action or 3-D animated movie with human and the Planet Earth, similar to Transformers, but with constraction characters and always positive reviews, like the Avengers. Also, constraction-based Lego TT Games video games with positive reviews (and make every boss-looking antagonists bosses with boss meters, and make the game be open-world, like the Lego City Undercover, the Lego DC Comics games, and the the Lego Marvel games). Online games would include something similar to Bionicle's Mata Nui Online Games and Voya Nui Online Game. The chapter books, comics, and online serials would just be side stories or re-tell the stories from the TV show or movie(s). Do not make sets for characters that aren't too important in the story (Bionicle G1's 2007, 2008, and 2009 characters, like Lesovikk and Mazeka, sort of have problems with that, for examples. However, they can be shown in cameos if they aren't too important). Again, the TV show's great way of telling stories must apply to all of the other media. For the animation or whatever look on the constraction characters, there would be a mix of certain animation styles. They would have realistic parts of their bodies, like the first three Bionicle direct-to-video movies, looking very accurate to the sets, like Bionicle: The Legend Reborn, Hero Factory TV show, and Bionicle: Journey to One, but to the sets' final designs specifically rather than the prototypes (B:TLR and HF have this problem). Make them look 3-D animated, like all four Bionicle direct-to-video movies and HF, rather than looking 2-D-3-D mixed (like Iron Man: Armored Adventures and Transformers: Robots in Disguise in 2015. B:tJtO has this problem.). No drawing-like 2-D animation as the main animation style (Bionicle G2's online animations in 2015 have this problem). Nothing in the media or sets go missing, so everything should be there. Give the constraction characters pupils. Think of this as a Transformers: Prime animation style. For actors in TV shows, I prefer famous ones from Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, B:tLR, and/or HF TV show (Hero Factory's Invasion From Below episode and B:tJtO have actors that we don't know, and the Bionicle 2015 online animations only have one actor voicing everyone. Weird.). For actors in theatrical movies, use celebrities from the Lego Movies. 4. For the combiner models, give all sets a chance to be in a combiner in every way (Bionicle's Sidorak and Roodaka never combined, which is an example of a problem). All-members-in-a-group combiners should happen, like having all six Toa Mata combine into a Toa Nui, for example. Don't make combiners look too weird, and I would like them to be in the story somehow, like fusion of members of a team. 5. For terms of money, small sets should be $5-7, medium sets $10-12, and large sets at least $15-20 or more. Bionicle G2 has this money problem. Also, bring back the titan combiner sets (Bionicle G1's Takutanuva, Ultimate Dume, Voporak, and Vezon and Kardas are such sets). For the instruction manuals, make the pictures 3-D in at least the small and medium sets again, like Bionicle G1's early years. Also like those years, have manuals show instructions for the combiners again. It would be neat if the canisters are brought back. Don't make the small and medium sets too chunky by amounts of pieces (Bionicle G2 probably has this problem). So, yeah, that's all I can think of. This is an ideal thing for me, and I would like everything to be perfect. I know it's a lot of stuff that I said, but that would do. What about you guys' dream constraction themes, too?
  23. A friend of mine just bought pink Brain Attack Stormer's helmet. He found it in lot of parts which were rejects from Lego factory. Sadly, I don't have any knowledge about Hero Factory collectibles, so I hope to find HF experts here . Anyone know if this part is one of a kind or maybe more of them exist? And is it prototype or misprint rejected from production? And how much it could be worth? I'm posting it in B/S/T since friend said that if price will be good enough, he may consider selling it. Here are more detailed pics:https://imgur.com/a/CLqt3 Part has "© 2012 LEGO" and part number on it and it comes from trusted source.
  24. I was browsing eBay and came across this peculiar listing of what appears to be a sealed Von Nebula set but in a narrower box. Is this a bootleg or is it a legitimate release of the set? I've never heard of one set having boxes in different sizes before. Perhaps its a regional variation of sorts?
  25. Hi, guys! I know that Hero Factory ended sadly, but let’s be happy about HF something else. You see, this year, 2017, is the 5th anniversary of HF’s storyline called Breakout in 2012. So, let’s celebrate the 5th anniversary of the 2012 storyline. I heard that some of you guys liked the theme considered it to be your HF theme. Let me tell you the Breakout storyline: It’s about when Rocka captured a villain named Voltix, Voltix used Von Nebula’s Black Hole Orb Staff, which was in the prison room in the Hero Factory building, to create a portal that freed all of the villains, including the 2010, 2011, and some new ones, and then they are escaping through the portal. The Alpha 1 Team tries to stop the villains, but they failed, as all of the villains went through the portal and got away. This breakout is said to be the worst time that the Hero Factory organization had ever faced. The Heroes’ new mission is to find and recapture the villains. The Heroes got new upgrades to adapt to their surroundings when finding and recapturing the villains there. They also got new Hero cuffs, which can fly, find their target, and cuff it. This mission requires all Heroes except Rocka, who has something else in mind, so he chose to stay in the building. Here’s the list of Alpha 1 Team’s members and the respective villains that they are capturing: 1. Evo vs. Toxic Reapa - this happens in Toxic’s home planet, which is a jungle planet called Z’Chaya, where Toxic Reapa plans to turn his cocooned members of his species into his army. Toxic Reapa can shoot toxic substances. 2. Surge vs. Splitface - this happens in a HF communication satellite, surrounded by big meteorites in space and which has people, where Splitface plans to destroy the satellite, but he argues with himself on how to do it because he has a split personality (lol. ). Splitface has two personalities, one for his right, mechanical half of his body and the other for his left, organic and mutated half. Each half is armed with a preferred weapon. His right half is armed with the Shredder Claw while his left is armed with a gun that shoots a dangerous substance called Infecticide. 3. Furno vs. Jawblade - this happens in Jawblade’s home planet, which is a water planet called Scylla, where he plans to collect a substance called Oxidium to make Heroes rust to defeat them. Jawblade is a shark-like villain who is armed with two blades called Magma Blades that were actually Furno’s Dual Fire Shooter. 4. Stringer vs. Voltix - this happens on a misty planet with power containers, where Voltix plans to create a powerful electric weapon. Voltix has electricity powers. 5. Stormer vs. Speeda Demon - this happens on an icy planet, where Speeda plans to rob people there. Both Stormer and Speeda ride motorcycles as they race against each other. Stormer is in his new XL form, which makes him the size of the Hulk from Marvel. Speeda has four arms and is armed with two long swords and those devices that shoot electricity. 6. Breez vs. Thornraxx - this happens in Thornraxx’s home planet, which is a hive planet where he plans to recruit an army of members of his kind. Thornraxx looks like a wasp. 7. Nex vs. XT4 - this happens in XT4’s home planet called Mechna, where he plans to turn his fellow XT4 units into his army (that’s revealed in a guide book in 2013). He has has four arms, and each of the arms is armed with a weapon. 8. Bulk vs. Core Hunter - this happens in Makuhero City, which is where the Hero Factory building is, where CH plans to remove Hero Cores from Heroes there to kill them. He is a former Hero who gone rogue, like Von Nebula. He is armed with a tool called the Hero Core Removal Tool that can remove Cores from Heroes, and a gun. Along the way, Evo is upset that he failed to stop the villains from escaping, but Furno wants to help Evo by giving him advices. While the Heroes are away and Rocka investigating the prison room to examine the Black Hole Staff, with its orb part was destroyed when Voltix used it, a Hulk-sized villain named Black Phantom, who planned the Breakout and used it as a distraction to get the Heroes out of the Hero Factory building, sneaks inside the building, imprisons most of the building’s staff members there, and takes over the building as he activates the fail-safe shield around it. Black Phantom is armed with a big weapon with a mace and a blade and a spider-like drone called Arachnix, which can multiply, shoot energy from its mouth, and cane be used as a gun. Rocka notices the situation, so he goes to deactivate the shield, even though that one of the staff members named Nathaniel Zib is suspicious of Rocka’s secret intentions and abilities. Black Phantom also plans to steal Hero Factory’s plans to create an army of evil versions of Heroes who are powered by an evil substance called Anti-Quaza, which is an evil counterpart of a good-hearted substance called Quaza, which is used to create the Heroes. Black Phantom also has some inside him, and he used it to shut the staff members down like computers. When Stormer, Evo, Furno, and Surge finished with their tasks early, they notice the shield, and Rocka turns it off. Rocka tells the Heroes about the situation, even though that they are suspicious of his secret intentions and abilities as well. Rocka answers that he secretly works for a special Hero team called the Hero Recon Team (who are sort of introduced in 2011), and the Heroes like it. The Heroes go to fight Black Phantom in the building’s Assembly Tower to stop him from creating his army. Rocka defeats Black Phantom by overloading him with power from the tower, with the help of Evo. Later on, as some more Heroes returned with their recaptured villains, the mission continues (even through the events of the Brain Attack storyline in 2013). When the Alpha 1 Team, Nathaniel Zib, and their boss named Mr. Makuro were talking about the breakout, they learn that the breakout was used as a distraction, so Black Phantom was able to deliver the Hero Factory plans to an unknown villain before he was defeated. They are worried. Meanwhile, this villain opens his laptop, which reveals the plans, and he is happy that he got them for his evil plan to create a factory that creates villains. That went unresolved (even though that the plans are also used to help a villain and his army of Brain parasites attack the building in the Brain Attack storyline). Since Black Phantom’s defeat, Breez, Nex, and Bulk are having a hard time with their villains while Voltix is still on the loose. However, Breez and Nex later become successful (mentioned in the guide book). Core Hunter is planning to use a super-powerful and super-dangerous device called the Doom Box to do a ransom. When he is trying to use it, the Alpha 1 Team stop him by having his Removal Tool absorb the Box’s energies. However, Core Hunter becomes more powerful and defeats every single Hero in the tram except Surge. Surge defeats Core Hunter by reflecting the energies back at CH, which causes CH to disappear to his unknown fate. The Alpha 1 Team are having a flashback about the Hero Factory’s beginnings, when the Alpha 1 Team just had Thresher, Stormer, Bulk, Stringer, and Von Ness (before he became Von Nebula). During the time, no one knew about the Factory yet. Black Phantom planned to form his gang of villains called the Legion of Darkness. This group consisted of Black Phantom as the leader, Toxic Reapa, Jawblade, Splitface, Thornraxx, XT4, Voltix, and Speeda Demon (that’s almost every Breakout villain). The Legion were trying to destroy the Factory, but the Heroes were defending it. While the two groups are fighting, Black Phantom secretly revealed to the Heroes that he actually planned to betray most of the Legion except XT4, who is reprogrammed to be obedient to him, so Black Phantom could eliminate a competition that the villains gave him and become the best villain in the villain underworld. However, the Heroes let the Legion know about this, so they defeated Black Phantom before they get defeated by the Heroes. To celebrate, let me ask you this: What are your fond memories about the storyline and/or what do you like about it? For me, I like the Heroes’ designs. They look amazing on them! I like that the designs matched their abilities, like the fire print on Furno’s chestplate. I like that the Heroes also wear their original 2010 helmets again, while I like that Evo’s, Nex’s, and Rocka’s new helmets have the same style as the others and are based on their original 2011 helmets (their new helmets happened because Evo, Nex, and Rocka were never born in the 2010 storyline before they were born in the 2011 storylines. Plus, Rocka’s 2012 helmet is based on any previous storylines (Just saying a fact there), but it looks cool on him.). The cuffs are a great touch since this is about the breakout and recapturing villains, after all. I love their new blasters, which look like Thronax Launchers from Bionicle 2001-2010 because of their new design. I like Evo’s Tank Arm. Looks cool. Evo could have kept his purple color scheme and his arms look uneven by length, though. I like Surge’s lightning sword. Surge shouldn’t use too much green, though. Furno and Breez look alright. I like Furno’s underwater gear and Breez’s flying gear. Their weapons look neat, but I like Breez’s red weapons the best. Rocka looks awesome in his new look. I love his transparent green shield and crossbow. Nex looks alright, but needs some green color scheme. I like his Laser Cutter, though it’s weird that he doesn’t have a hand over there in his set. Bulk looks very cool. I love his shoulder pads and missile launcher. It’s neat that you can attach his Cuffs on his armpits. Lol. Stinger looks alright. He has some nice transparent blue pieces, but why does he keep changing his secondary color? Shouldn’t it be orange, like his 2010 look? Anyway, I like his blaster and those shoulder pieces that look like sound booming things. The blaster looks like a guitar, which matches his sound-based personality, and the shoulder pieces match his personality, too. Stormer looks epic in his 2012 look. He is the size of the Hulk when he is in his Titan set, man! It does match him as the leader of the team when the Breakout storyline is a serious business. I love his sword, and the scout drones are a great touch. As for the villains, Toxic Reapa looks cool. I like his guns, head piece, and those tanks on his back. Jawblade looks great. I like that he has fins for legs and arms. However, his wrist are so thick that I could hardly Cuff the guy, which is not satisfying. I like his tail and blades, though. Splitface looks cool. I like that his black and red colors divide his body into two halves to represent his respective personalities. I like his weapons, too. Black Phantom is mighty epic. He looks intimidating. His weapons and the drone looks very cool. I like his red and transparent yellowish green pieces, and the fact that he is a Titan set, which makes him look like the main antagonist of the storyline well. He looks like a mix of Fire Lord from Ordeal of Fire and Hewkii Inika from Bionicle 2001-2010. Thornraxx is okay, and I like his stinger, wings, claws, and his ball-shooting mouth. It’s cool that Lego is reusing the wing pieces from Bionicle 2001-2010’s Gorast set. He looks weird, though, because he doesn’t have legs, and his design looks weird, too. XT4 is alright. I like the fact that he has four arms and each of them has a weapon, but his body looks abnormally tiny, which kind of makes him look weird. He looks like a love child of Meltdown from the 2010 storyline and Waspix from the Hero Factory franchise’s Savage Planet storyline (Just saying a comparison). Core Hunter looks cool, and I love his Removal Tool, his buff and spiky design, his gun, his mask. However, he has the same thick-wrists problem as Jawblade’s, and there’s a bulge on his back. Voltix looks amazing! I love his electricity-based and power-switch-based design, the red and blue wires, his whip, his gun, his purple pieces, and those horn-like things on his head. His arms are a little stubby, though. Speeda Demon looks very cool, and I like the fact that he has four arms as well, his swords, his electricty-zapping things, and his horns. His motorcycle looks very cool, too, and I like its color schemes, gold pieces, and 2010 Surge’s lightning weapons being used as its exhaust things. The CCBS in the sets are used very well in the 2012 storyline. I wish that Stormer could have included his motorcycle in his set, but it’s a blue version of Furno’s bike in 2010. Plus, Nex needs two Cuffs instead of one to recapture XT4 because XT4 has four arms. Next, the combo models. The ones where each are a mix of a Hero and a villain that he is sent to capture look cool, but they look super-weird. I like the combo with Furno, Evo, and Surge, which is an extra rookie Hero in the team, and the combo with Toxic Reapa, Jawblade, and Splitface, which is a mutated underwater villain that the Hero is sent to capture. The Hero looks epic because of his bulk and blasters. The villain looks like a bigger and deluxe version of Jawblade with feet. He looks awesome. The Lego pieces introduced in the storyline are quite neat. I like the armor pieces, the transparent dark green Glatorian head piece from Bionicle 2001-2010, and the villains’ head pieces and helmets. As for the story and media, I think the story is very good. There is some character developement here and there. It’s weird that Evo went from a calm ninja in the Ordeal of Fire storyline to a worried person in the storyline (though it is revealed why he did that in the guide book), but good thing that Furno wants to help him. Furno is becoming a teacher, like Stormer. Surge and Stringer are funny as always. Stormer and Rocka are very cool as always. It’s neat that Rocka is a part of the Hero Recon Team. Too bad that we didn’t see more of the other heroes, though. The villains are just video game enemies to be defeated, kind of sadly. Black Phantom, Voltix, and Core Hunter are impressive, however. The other villains may be great in their own clever-ness and skills, but they are easily defeated, even though that they are funny. Lol. But, are the extra combo Hero and villain necessary? These guys don’t have character development at all. There are some things that I find annoying about the villains other than the combo characters: Voltix is still on the loose and Core Hunter’s fate is unknown. It’s quite annoying. About the villains from past storylines, it’s cool that we can see them again, but we don’t know what happened to them after the breakout and they aren’t recaptured (however, the guide book says that the Witch Doctor from Savage Planet is recaptured). Plus, we know that Von Nebula was imprisoned in the orb part of his staff, but when Voltix destroyed the orb part to activate the staff, we don’t know what happened to him, but I think that he may the mysterious villain who got the plans from Black Phantom somehow. Zib is a good and funny character as always. Capricorn is funny as always, too. It’s just that. Lol. As for the media, there are two 22-minute Hero Factory TV episodes, which are a two-parter episode called Breakout, two Secret Missions books, and an online game and app game called Breakout. The episodes are fine, and I like the highlights on the Heroes’ helmets and the fact that the characters finally have five fingers in each hand like their sets (the 2011 episodes only show four in each hand). However, there are a little bit of inaccuracies between the animation and sets, but the characters look mostly alright. I like the voice actors in the episode, though I question why people who made the episodes replaced Evo’s original voice actor with a new one. Also, I wish we could see Breez, Nex, and Bulk in their 2012 forms, Thornraxx, XT4, and Core Hunter in there, though, I wish that Vapor from the 2010 storyline could have been with the escaped villains during the breakout (he never physically appeared in the TV show at all, too). There weren’t any more episodes that continued the Breakout storyline to show their adventures or recapturing the other escaped villains, either. Bummer. I think Lego had a budget problems with this, so our expectations didn’t become true, sadly. For the books, they are good. The online game is very fun. I think of it as the best Hero Factory game. I love shooting at stuff and enemies. I also liked the fact that’s you can find codes and use them to get more points in the game, so you can upgrade the Heroes. The codes that you find are on the Hero Cores in the sets and some online content. The app game wasn’t much, sadly, but it has codes that you can use. It’s very cool that both of the games are made by the company who made Bionicle 2001-2010’s Glatorian Arena games. However, the online game is missing two things: XT4 and Nex’s mission in Mechna. Quite disappointing. There’s also comics and Hero Factory’s website contents, but they suffered the same condition as the TV episodes, as they don’t show all of the Heroes and their villains. So, guys, what are your fond memories of the storyline, what do you like about it, what’s your favorite 2012 set, favorite character(s) in 2012, favorite moment in the storyline, what things remind you of the 2012 storyline, and/or how would you celebrate it? For me, well, my favorite sets are Stormer, Furno, Rocka, Stringer, Bulk, Breez, Voltix, Black Phantom, Speeda Demon, XT4, and Core Hunter, and my favorite characters are Stormer, Furno, Rocka, Voltix, Speeda Demon, Black Phantom, and Core Hunter. The things that remind are: 1. The Cybug craziness from Wreck-It Ralph in 2012 (Thornraxx) 2. Stronius and Kopaka from Bionicle 2001-2010 (Core Hunter) 3. Bane from The Dark Knight Rises (Core Hunter) 4. Two-Face from DC Comics and Blitzwing from Transformers: Animated (Splitface) 5. Hewkii Inika from Bionicle 2001-2010 (Black Phantom) 6. The Barraki’s prison break and underwater fight between hero and villain from Bionicle 2001-2010 7. The Avengers movie in 2012 8. Darth Vader from Star Wars (Stronius) 9. Umarak the Hunter from Bionicle 2015-2016 (Black Phantom) 10. Pridak from Bionicle 2001-2010 (Jawblade) 11. The Serpentine from Ninjago being released from their prisons to do evil things in 2012 (the Breakout event) 12. General Grievous from Star Wars (Speeda Demon) 13. The fruit “Thornax” from Bionicle 2001-2010 (Thornraxx) 14. Electro from Marvel and The Amazing Spider-Man movie series in 2012-2014 and probably Ehlek from Bionicle 2001-2010 (Voltix) 15. Jay from Ninjago (Mark Surge and Voltix) 16. Lockdown with his spark-ripping tool from Transformers: Age of Extinction (Core Hunter)
