3. This story was written for school (for an exam), but I thought it might be interesting. ^^ The task was to write a story where Alice, after some years' time, comes to Wonderland again and meets the Queen of Hearts. Since this was done with only a limited amount of time and words it isn't too long... Hope you enjoy! ALICE IN WONDERLAND – REVISITED “Looks like I won”, the Queen of Hearts said and smiled triumphantly, “you know what that means!” Alice went pale. How had she been so blind to believe that the Queen would lose a poker game? All of her followers were cards! She wondered whether begging for mercy would help, but decided against it. Even after all these years, the Queen’s heart was still as hard as marble. “But I like myself the way I am!”, she protested. “My dear Alice”, the Queen replied, her smile widening, “you can’t step back now. That would be cheating”. She gave the girl a cunning look, “… and you know what we do with cheaters here!” The cards cheered as their queen took a pair of handcuffs and put them around Alice’s wrists. “You agreed to it, remember? There’s no way out.” A brutal-looking guard stepped forward and out a hand on Alice’s shoulder. The girl was led through the Queen’s castle, through endless dark corridors, past portraits of former Kings and Queens, and many, many cards. Then they got to the door. It was made of dark wood, and there was an iron heart pinned onto it. And somehow the door seemed… alive. Alice’s heart was pounding hard as the guard opened the door and pushed her through. There, in the middle of the gigantic hall stood a machine. At least it looked like one. It was made from the same wood that had been used for the door. There was also a table with several brushes and a pot full of red paint. “This, my dear, is the press!, the Queen said to Alice. Here, in this room, she seemed to glow with crimson light. And for the first time the Queen of Hearts seemed to be happy. All of a sudden she grabbed a brush, dipped it into the red paint, and painted a little heart onto Alice’s cheek. “You’re mine now” she murmured gleefully. The Queen and the guard led Alice to the heart of the machine and chained the girl onto it. She was lying on her back, arms and legs stretched out to the sides. The guard pulled a lever, and the ceiling slowly began to move closer and closer. Alice stared in horror. “Don’t worry, my dear”, the Queen whispered into her ear, “you’ll make a lovely card.”

"That was almost too easy," Bounty chuckled, wiping Giovanni's blood from his pistol before replacing it in its holster. The former Team Rocket leader lay in a crumpled heap on the floor, beaten in battle by his most trusted followers before, at his own prompting, being executed. As it stood, the four Shadow Admins remained in a wide circle around him, taking in their victory. At his fellow Admin's remark, Sleight's eyes narrowed, looking at his former leader's body before seating himself at the long, ebony desk at the end of the room. He leaned back, placing his feet on its shiny surface. "Don't jinx us," he warned, his icy blue eyes focused on Bounty. "There is still work to be done. Have any of our spies managed to get inside Kanto's chain of command? Or Johto's? Hoenn? And what of Sinnoh?" Ace nodded. "Riley and Miller managed to.... 'replace' several prominent figures last month," she said. "McKlellen and Adrian the month before. Others are in position, waiting for our assassins to take out the leaders of the other regions." Sleight nodded. "Excellent," he said. "Soon enough, we'll be ready... Until then, make the announcement. Begin recruitment and training immediately -- with our new policies. Giovanni sought and failed to remake the world, to remove liars and thieves from power; but together, we will bring about the end of corruption, once and for all, and create an era of 'peace.'" The other Shadow Admins saluted Sleight before turning and heading out. Sleight waited until he was sure they were gone; then, he pulled out a PDA, flipping through several files. His eyes darted back to Giovanni's body; then, he stood up, called for a couple of Rocket Grunts to remove the corpse, and left the room. 18 years ago... "Don't move," the Rocket warned, his pistol pointed at the President of Kanto. The man looked fearfully at his captor, but nodded nonetheless. All around the room, guards were being held at gunpoint; the President had a feeling that the situation throughout the rest of the building wasn't much different. He jumped as someone knocked on the door, once, twice, three times; then, nothing. The next instant, the doors flew open, and another Rocket strode in, flanked by two burly Grunts. He recognized the man as a lawmaker he had met a couple of months ago; now, he wore the black uniform of Team Rocket, and his eyes betrayed the flame of hate hidden by his calm face. "Master Sleight," the pistol-toting Rocket saluted, grabbing his captive and hoisting him to his feet. "Our mission has been accomplished. What do you want us to do with all of this baggage?" He gestured to the guards. "Exterminate them," Sleight said simply. "Leave the President -- Kanto must see its leader hand over his position. Then he will join the rest of his cabinet, in an... undisclosed location." The President looked confused for a moment; then his eyes widened. "You'll never get away with this..." he said, his voice shaking. "The other regions will do all they can to defeat you -- you'll face a war you cannot win." Sleight frowned and held up a remote, pointing it at the TV. The President watched as large groups of Rockets marched into the various cities of not only Kanto, but its neighbors, too. His eyes widened even more in terror, thinking of the risk that he would be taking by refusing. Hundreds might be killed; thousands, even. By the looks of it, the KPF had already been subdued; no one arrived to fight back against the invaders, aside from a few brave trainers, who were quickly felled. "All right!" he said. "I'll do it... As long as you promise not to harm anyone, I'll do it." Sleight smiled, snapping his fingers. Several Rockets came in with two large cameras and a teleprompter-like device, turning them on. The President sighed, wiping his brow. Looking directly at them, he began to speak, hoping beyond hope that this was a better choice than the alternative. "Citizens of Kanto," he said bitterly. "Do not be alarmed. It is with great..." He had to force the next word out. "... pleasure that I announce the new reign of Team Rocket. Do not fight back; follow their orders and no one will be harmed. Please -- for the sake of your lives, do not disobey." "Well done, sir," Sleight said, as the cameras were removed. "You will be escorted out... And rest assured, your citizens will remain safe -- for now." He exited the room, followed by two Grunts escorting the President. The guards led him outside; then, without hesitation, they placed a gun to his back and fired. The bang rang out through several blocks; then, they tossed his body down the front steps, into the dirt below. 12 years ago... Six years is long enough... Markus Aleivy thought, pushing his way through a thick bush and into a clearing. It was empty, much to his annoyance. Hopefully the others feel that way, too... And why am I always early? He knew why -- because he was one of the only ones who bothered to check for waiting Rockets. Despite the fact that they were on the Sevii Islands, a place that was now hidden from the Rockets because of mole work, he still didn't feel at ease -- he never did. It was impossible to, with Team Rocket's reach stretched so far, especially when you were on their list of wanted trainers, as Markus was. This in mind, he edged his way around the perimeter of the clearing, Pokéball in hand, ready to fight if the need arose... There was a sudden rustling behind him, and he whipped around, though relaxed when he saw that the newcomer was simply Shannon Ramirez, a refugee he had met a couple of months before -- one who happened to have helped him disable a Rocket Facility or two in that time. She smiled and nodded at him. "I saw a couple of other trainers approaching on my way here," she reported. "I'm not sure if they're Rockets or refs, though." "I'm sure we can take either one," Markus responded, spinning his Magnezone's Pokéball on the tip of his finger. Through the trees, he could hear someone else nearing; he and Shannon slunk into the shadows, watching as another trainer entered the clearing, followed by another, two more, four others. There were eight in total, ten including Markus and Shannon. Recognizing the first, Mark smiled, slowly stepping into view. "Long time, no see, Kane." The Dark-type specialist nodded curtly. "Mark. Shannon," he said. "So, we're really doing this, then? I almost thought against coming here, considering the Rockets ferocity towards renegades. I suppose it's good that I kept true to my word. I'm assuming you have the plans all drawn up?" "Of course," Mark said, reaching into his bag. He extracted blueprints, showing them to Kane. "I think it'll work, at least until we have time to add on to it." Kane looked over the papers for several moments before nodding. "Good; I'll have my workers get going on construction immediately," he said. He gestured to the other trainers with him. "Meanwhile, I would decide on our first act of defiance." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a phone, stepping outside of the clearing as the others gathered in a circle... * * * Sleight smirked at the news. It was an unsettling sight, though the Grunt who had made the report didn't show his unease. The Admin thought the news over for another moment, and then began to chuckle. "You're dismissed, Alder," he said. Alder nodded, saluted and then left. Sleight pressed a button on his desk, prompting a screen to flip up. It turned on, showing the faces of the other Shadow Admins. "Well, my friends, apparently we have a new resistance group to take care of," he immediately began. "'Team Liberty,' they call themselves." Joker laughed. "How funny," she smirked. "I received news of them, as well. Don't worry; they'll follow the same road as the others. They'll spread word about themselves for a little bit, manage to take out a couple of patrols, and then-" The line suddenly went down. Sleight's eyes narrowed as it was replaced with a picture, a bird-like creature flanked by two swords. Beneath it were the words "Team Liberty," followed by the words "Blackskull," "Goldhawk" and "Bluefalcon," alongside a message. The Shadow Admin studied this for a moment. Then, he smiled. So... It's war. All right; I'm willing to humor them... for now. Present Time... Sleight was both impressed and annoyed as he surveyed the battle taking place outside of Team Rocket's Fuschia base. Twelve years ago a resistance group called 'Team Liberty' had announced its existence to the world, declaring war on Team Rocket in an effort to remove the group from power. Sleight and the other Shadow Admins -- especially Joker -- hadn't thought much of it: in the time that they had ruled, small rebellions had popped up constantly, each one swiftly defeated by their forces. But this one... Sleight didn't know how, but this one had managed to drag out this little 'war' for over a decade. While admiring their determination, he was losing patience, though he knew that they would not be able to hold out for much longer... "Sir?" Sleight turned to the door to find Jackson, a Rocket Executive, standing with a PDA-like device in his hand. "Our newest recruits have just finished their training. They're awaiting further instructions at Chapel." Sleight nodded, grabbing the Pokéballs lined on his desk and placing them on his belt. "I will be there shortly," he said, heading out the door. "Hopefully they'll prove more competent than the last group when it comes to capturing targets..." * * * The war was not going well. Goldhawk knew that, and he knew that Blackskull and Bluefalcon saw it too. Each passing day brought about the fall of more and more veteran Agents, and the earlier deployment of new ones. Grounds shifted from the control of one side to the next sooner than one could say "Gyrados." The strain was starting to show, as arguments among the three Team Liberty leaders grew hotter and hotter. Despite this, they knew that they had to do something; that was why they had unanimously decided on a new course of action. It was clear that their current forces would never be able to free every region; however, if they could find the members of the Elite Four, the Gym Leaders who had been imprisoned or were in hiding, or even locate the missing Legendary Pokémon, then maybe, just maybe they could end Team Rocket's reign. They just needed troops to send on that mission... Goldhawk looked at his desk, noticing that a red light on his intercom was blinking. He pressed the button next to it, and was greeted by the voice of Red, one of Team Liberty's Chief Advisers, as well as an effective Agent. "Goldhawk, sir, we've just finished training a large group of recruits," he said. "Shall we initiate Operation R.A.L.L.Y.?" Goldhawk smiled. "Affirmative," he answered. "Permission to initiate Operation R.A.L.L.Y. has been granted. Proceed under protocol." Story in a Nutshell Twenty years prior to the events of the RPG, Giovanni's abilities as leader of Team Rocket were called into question. A group of ambitious Rocket Administrators, called the Shadow Admins, overthrew him and orchestrated a master plot to take over the four main regions -- Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh. After infiltrating the governments of those areas, they succeeded, and now rule with a supposed iron fist. In response to this, several small groups of trainers attempted to rebel; all were defeated and imprisoned or killed. One of these groups -- Team Liberty -- moved their operations to the Sevii Islands, a small region that they had managed to erase from the Rocket's database. Here they turned their rag-tag team into an organized fighting force, declaring war on Team Rocket soon after. Twelve years after Team Liberty's formation, the war has shifted in favor of Team Rocket. Desperate, Goldhawk, Bluefalcon and Blackskull, the leaders of Team Liberty, decided to send several small groups of newly recruited and trained Agents to search for the Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and Legendary Pokémon and trainers that Team Rocket had driven into hiding, to assist them in the war. On the flip side, Team Rocket had similar ideas, and are using their own Agents to capture these prominent figures. Here is where you enter, acting as an Agent of either Team Rocket or Team Liberty, searching for these figures and ultimately deciding the fate of the Pokémon world. Gameplay: Welcome to Rise of the Rockets, a Pokémon RPG, as you might have been able to tell. RotR takes place in a drastically changed Pokémon world, one where the villainous Team Rocket, now more brutal than ever, has taken over the four main regions, led by the Shadow Admins. A resistance team, called Team Liberty has declared war on them, a war that is still going on today. This is where you come in. Players participate in the war as either a member of Team Rocket or an Agent of Team Liberty, fighting for seemingly obvious reason -- the former to keep themselves in power and the latter to upset that rule. However, there are many secrets hidden in the shadows, hinting that things aren't as concrete as they seem. Your primary job is to locate various figures -- Gym Leaders, Elite four members, Legendary Pokémon and famous trainers -- and either recruit them to your cause or imprison them. Other jobs include attacking facilities controlled by your enemy, catching and raising your Pokémon, etc. etc. So, that's that. For more in-depth information, read on! Factions Every story has two sides, typically the "good" side and the "evil" side. In Rise of the Rockets, you have a choice -- will you tell the story from Team Libetry's point of view, in their efforts to liberate the world from Team Rocket's reign? Or will you fight for the Rockets, seeking to crush rebellion and remake the world in your view? Team Liberty First established twelve years prior to current events, Team Liberty, as their name suggests, strives to liberate the four main regions from Team Rocket's control, seeing their methods of control as unacceptable. Leaders: Markus Aleivy (Goldhawk,) Shannon Ramirez (Bluefalcon,) Kane Umbra (Blackskull.) Controlled Regions: Sevii Islands. Base of Operations: The Alamo: Located on Four Island, the Alamo is Team Liberty's main headquarters. It was constructed with and funded by Team Liberty Leader Blackskull, and consists of a Pokémon Center/storage warehouse, sleeping quarters and several training grounds, among other similar things. Boats heading off to secluded islands nearby are a common sight, from which Agents take other forms of transportation to their assigned areas. Its location has been hidden from Team Rocket after grueling mole work, and is where Blackskull, Goldhawk and Bluefalcon are most commonly found. Team Liberty has built several fallback points on the other islands, in the event of a Rocket invasion.Other Information: Tensions seem to be rising between Goldhawk and Blackskull recently, which is thought to be due to the pressure of war or some other problem. Team Rocket For generations Team Rocket knew nothing but defeat; with the coming of the Shadow Admins, that changed. Under their rule, Team Rocket orchestrated a master plot to take control of the four main regions, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, along with wiping out resistance in the Orange Islands and the Sevii Islands. Leaders: Sleight (Kanto,) Joker (Johto,) Ace (Hoenn,) Bounty (Sinnoh.) Controlled Regions: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, some outposts in the Orange Islands. Base of Operations: Chapel: One of Team Rockets' four main headquarters, and the Master Facility in Kanto. Thus far, Team Liberty has only managed to find out the name -- they still have not located it, though it is believed to be located somewhere along Victory Road. It is run by Shadow Admin Sleight. This is also the starting point for new Team Rocket characters. ?: Team Rockets' Master Facility in Johto. Location and name unknown, aside from that it is under the control of Shadow Admin Joker. ?: Team Rockets' Hoenn Master Facility. Nothing else is known about it, though it is managed by Shadow Admin Ace. ?: The last of Team Rockets' Master Facilities, it is located somewhere in Sinnoh. It's name and exact location are both unknown. It is commanded by Shadow Admin Bounty. Various, smaller bases stationed around the four main regions and the Orange Islands.Other Information: Despite their history, Team Rocket has actually brought about a relatively peaceful atmosphere for their controlled areas -- prior to the war with Team Liberty, there were no large scale conflicts, and hostility was only shown to those who would not obey. Whether this is actually true or if it just seems that way because Team Rocket wants it to is an unanswered question. On another note, some of the Shadow Admins seem rather distant as of late, though no one knows why. Bear in mind that not everyone is truly what they make themselves out to be -- everyone has their own hidden agenda, plans that may be better for the world than the current one. Others, though, may be far, far worse... Choose carefully. Achievements This section lists the current achievements of each group. Characters retrieved by Team Liberty will be marked in green, while characters captured by Team Rocket will be marked in red. You are allowed up to three characters at one time, though extras can be issued as rewards for good behavior. Username: Your username here. Duh. Name: This is so ridiculously obvious that the only note I'm going to add is that you should probably use a logical name - something like Daniel Pepper or Emily Johnson, for instance. For realism, you can add a last name. Faction: Team Rocket or Team Liberty. Hometown: Where is your character from? Age: 14 is the minimum, unless you can give a good reason as to why your character would be younger. Appearance: This is the physical description of your character. Hair color, eye color, height, and clothes should be listed here, as well as other such information. Personality: This is your character's personality. Please do not make your character perfect - everyone has their flaws, no matter how much you may say otherwise. Also, describe! Make it in-depth! We need to know how your character would act! Do NOT put, "Fun, smart, loving." OR "Doesn't tell anyone." Background: Information about your character's life. Ya know? Pokémon: You may start with two Pokémon. For your Pokémon (one for each): Species: Um... yeah... Pokémon species. Rather obvious. Is it a Charmander? A Pikachu? Whatever? Nickname: What's your Pokémon's name? Trainer: Name of trainer here. Appearance: Canonically speaking, all the members of a species (supposedly) look the same. That's not the case here. What are some differences between your Pokémon and the norm? Personality: Your Pokémon's personality. Pretty much the same as the one for your trainer character -- what's he or she like? Ability: Each Pokémon has a certain ability (e.g. the Fire starters usually have Blaze, while others have, say levitate, and so on.) What is yours? Specialty: Pokémon are bound to have their own individual skills. Does your Pikachu excel in physical or special attacks? Known Moves: Choose up to six (6) attacks that the Pokémon would learn by -leveling up- to start with. TM and HM attacks still need to be taught through TM and HM, therefore you cannot start with them. The Age and Family Factor You are allowed to have your character be related to a Gym Leader/E4 member/other famous trainers. however, this brings up several issues, which will be addressed here. First off, you may only have one of your characters be related to one famous trainer. The reasons for this should be pretty obvious. For one, if you have all three of your characters be the child of a famous trainer and you specify that they are those three trainers' only children, you have effectively used up three famous characters that could have easily had more than one child. Next, and I have seen this before on another forum and version of this RPG, without a limit on the amount of famous relatives you can have, the possibility arises for you to continuously add more and more and more relatives to your character. The person in question who did this ended up having Gary Oak be their father, Prof. Oak be their grandfather, and (I don't know how the heck this worked out) Lance as their uncle, among several others. It was ridiculous and unrealistic. The only exception to this is if your relative has an established relative of their own in the canon, as in the case of Gary/Prof. Oak or Koga and his daughter. The second issue here is in regards to age. Assuming that the fourth generation games all take place at the same time, this is set 20 years after it. As such, no one is going to look or be the same as they are during those games, since they would be 20 years older. For those who don't have a clue in regards to how this works -- I'll use Brock as an example. We estimate him to be about 26 during the events of HG/SS. You would take that age, add 20, and you get 46 -- his age during the RPG. It's pretty simple. Take this into consideration when writing your profiles, too -- if you do the math wrong, you could end up with a father/mother only 15 years older than you are, and that's a little... weird. So, please remember this, as it will be heavily enforced when I or my co-GM begin to approve profiles. Evolution Guide I am setting limits on how often you can evolve your Pokémon, as I do not want everyone getting third-stage Pokémon right after we start. Not only is that unrealistic in terms of Pokémon realism, but it also takes away the fun of the game. When you feel you've battled enough, you are free to evolve your Pokémion -- you don't need my permission, as long as you are willing to fight the required amount of battles. Also, this is not required, but to keep things balanced, I would prefer it if you would evolve each of your Pokémon that can evolve at once before evolving one of them again. Say, for instance, I had Charmander, Squirtle and Pichu. I evolve Charmander into Charmeleon. You can either evolve it into Charizard later, or evolve both of your other Pokémon into Wartortle and Pikachu first, respectively. It's not required to do the latter, but I would prefer it very much. Anyway, here's a fairly simple chart showing how many battles you must participate in to evolve. Note that you do not have to win every battle: 1st Evolution: 7 battles. 2nd Evolution: 9 more battles. Evolution w/Stone/Item: Either use the stone/item or do 8 battles. Evolution w/Other Pokémon: 7 battles, with at least one alongside the required Pokémon (You do not need to own it.) Evolution w/Trading: Either trade or do 7 battles. Evolution @ Certain Location: 8 battles with at least 1 at that location (I.E. 1 battle at Moss Rock for Leafeon.) Simple, riiight? Good. Pokémon - Starters and Catching When you first start off, you will be able to choose up to two basic-level Pokémon to start with. Any Pokémon can be chosen, aside from a select few. These Pokémon and their reasons for being restricted are: -Legendary Pokémon -- Rather obvious, as they are legendary, and as such there aren't that many, plus they're too powerful. The only time these can be obtained in any sort of way is on missions where you are required to recruit them; however, this is the only instance. -Middle/final stage Pokémon -- No final stage Pokémon are allowed to be used by new Agents -- they're too powerful. Duh. Some middle stage Pokémon could be used, though it depends on what the requested Pokémon is. In other words, I'll be judging middle stage Pokémon on a case-by-case basis. Otherwise, anything is free to use. If you wish to catch a Pokémon, which you inevitably will, then you must get permission first. Multiples of Legendary Pokémon Because we are mostly going off of the games and manga, quite a few Legendary Pokémon are going to be treated as multi-member species throughout the game. This system is primarily based off of their Pokédex entries, many of which imply the existence of more than one of the Pokémon in question. These Pokémon are: -The five Kanto/Johto birds -- Ho-oh, Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. -The three Johto dogs -- Entei, Suicune and Raikou. -Mew -Celebi* -Three of the four Regis -- Regice, Registeel and Regirock. Regigigas is not included because of its implied status as a single Pokémon. -Latios and Latias -Deoxys -Jirachi -Manaphy and Phione All others will be treated as one of a kind Pokémon, due to evidence in their Pokédex entries. *Celebi's nature as a time traveling Pokémon leaves its status relatively ambiguous. Some people may argue that there have to be multiple ones from different moments in time, while others could simply see it as one that has made its mark at many different times to many different people. Moves I'm going to go out on a limb and use a trust system when it comes to moves. Basically, you are the judge of what your Pokémon can use, selecting attacks out of their naturally learned/Egg move pool to use. The only thing is, young Pokémon are not going to be allowed to use moves they learn at, say, level 30 -- at least, not nearly as much nor will those attacks be as powerful. So, yeah, technically your Charmander could use Flamethrower, but it wouldn't be nearly as strong as it would be once it evolves into Charmeleon. In addition, to stop suddenly changing attacks, your Pokémon may only know a maximum of six moves at any given time. TM/HM Factor TMs and HMs are rather curious items in the games. When you use one, provided it is an attack that your Pokémon can learn, it will automatically teach the specified move to that Pokémon. The workings behind this have never been revealed. For the purposes of this game, though, an explanation must be given. Essentially, TMs and HMs act as computerized instruction booklets, giving you information on how to teach an attack to a Pokémon but not necessarily allowing them to use it right away. Using these instructions, you can teach your Pokémon how to use the move, though it will require practice before they master it (about the duration of one mission.) However, there is a rather annoying technicality with most HMs: Most are things your Pokémon should already know how to do, like swimming (Surf) and flying (Fly) for example. Well, needless to say that I'm not going to not let you use a Pokémon to fly around or swim from place to place without being taught the move. However, to use them in battle, your Pokémon would have to learn how to manipulate whatever it is they are doing, like using a large amount of water for Surf. The same goes for several other attacks, like Bite and Scratch, which aren't in the move pools of some Pokémon that should, from a technical point of view, be able to do that. I am throwing that out the window, to an extent: If your Pokémon has a mouth but doesn't learn Bite, it can still bite, but it will be typeless and do less damage than the learned move; same with Scratch. 'Upgrading' Moves As your Pokémon grows older, it should be able to use its powers to a larger degree. So, whenever one of your Pokémon evolves, you can choose one move to 'upgrade' -- for example, if my Charmander evolved, I could freely replace Ember with Flamethrower. Other moves can be upgraded as time goes by, though by no means can all of those moves by powered up right away. Move Tutors Move Tutors specialize in teaching moves to a Pokémon quicker than their trainer is able to. They can be found throughout the various regions, and, for a small price, will gladly teach your Pokémon a move for you. However, as this process takes time, you will need to leave that Pokémon with the Move Tutor so that they can teach them the specified move. There is no specific time required for them to finish teaching a move -- generally, they'll be done after the duration of the mission following you dropping the Pokémon off. Game Masters and Moderators Games Masters are the hosts of the game. Usually, their word is law; however, if you feel that an unfair call has been made, then politely say so and we'll see if we can work it out. Moderators are similar; however, the difference is that GMs can overrule a Moderator's call if they feel the need to. Current Game Masters are: -Parugi (host) -Kumata Nuva (co-host) Current Moderators are: -N/A. Rules Rules are rules are rules. They should be followed. They should not be broken. The latter will do you no good; the former will. Therefore, follow the rules. 1. As usual, all BZPower rules apply. These can be found here, if you haven't looked them over already. 2. To reiterate from the above, flaming and spamming will not be tolerated. Spamming involves posting useless messages, in this case a post that has no connection to the RPG. Don't do it. Flaming involves purposefully fighting with or attacking another member. Don't do it. 3. Listen to the staff. If you think a Game Master/Moderator has made an unfair call, take it up with us, and we'll work it out. 4. Don't take control of another player's characters unless asked. By this, I mean A. Don't kill someone's character without permission, B. Don't hurt another player's character without permission, and C. Don't make another player's character do something they wouldn't do. If you want to do that to your own characters, then fine, go ahead. 5. Be realistic (at least, in terms of Pokémon.) Do not get from one place to another in one post. Do not win every single battle. Do not evolve your Pokémon in rapid succession. Space out events so that you don't run out of things to do throughout the game. 6. Distinguish between IC and OOC. IC stands for In Character and is used for the in-game portion of your post. OOC stands for Out of Character and is used for the out of game portion of your post. EX: IC: Bob charged forward to meet the two Rocket grunts, tossing a Pokéball into the air and releasing his Charmander. OOC: Hey, teammates, feel free to jump into the fight. Along with this, GM stands for Game Master and is used for important, in-game announcements. EX: GM: Attention: Team Rocket is attacking Team Liberty's base. TL members, defend your headquarters! TR members, get inside and destroy as much as you can! 7. Creativity is a must This is a pretty sandboxy RPG, and as such there aren't a ton of restrictions to abide to. The only things that need to be approved are really big NPC introductions and REALLY big plot points, the likes of which could completely change the game as we know it. Other than that, feel free to experiment. 8. You must be approved before you can start playing. This makes it far easier to keep people from starting with super powerful Pokémon, as opposed to catching them after they've gone on two missions. 9. Do not meta-game or God-mode. For the uninformed: Meta-gaming is the use of OOC knowledge (or things that you know, but your character doesn't) to your advantage, like reading a conversation between two characters, who are nowhere near your character, and then going to your boss and telling him about it. God-modding is, plain and simple, unrealism -- never fatiguing, acting super powerful, preforming things that your character could never possibly do, etc. Neither are allowed under ANY circumstances. 10. Shiny Pokémon are not allowed, as they do not really add anything to the story (save for bragging.) Besides, they won't be that amazing to behold if everyone catches one, will they? Also note that drastic color changes used in your Pokémon's appearance will be counted as Shiny and will not be allowed, either. 11. Have fun! And because there is no other good place to say this -- don't take things extremely seriously. Yes, the plot is darker than your average Pokémon plot. Yes, it's mostly based off of the games. This does not mean that your experience has to be. Relax; don't put too much time into IVs and weaknesses and strengths and natures and whatever else there is to consider in the games. So, again, have fun! Rewards & Punishments Rise of the Rockets offers a variety of rewards for good behavior. Such rewards include the following: *Special items, e.g. evolution stones, TMs, HMs. *The ability to create an Executive character for one of the factions, who are candidates for promotion to Leader status if one of the faction leaders dies. *The ability to evolve a Pokémon sooner than stated in the Evolution Guide. *An upgrade to an attack without having to wait for evolution-- e.g. Ember could be upgraded to Flamethrower. *In-game information regarding things like base information, blueprints, etc. These rewards, as usual, can be obtained by a variety of actions -- like showing good sportsmanship, helping other players and the GMs, giving recaps when players ask, and other such actions. On the flop side, though, we also have a system of punishment. RotR follows a five strike system: Each time you do something unacceptable, like breaking a major rule or just plain being really rude, you will get a strike. Once you get five strikes, you're out for good. This system is detailed below: First Strike: A friendly warning via PM or in-game, depending on how bad of the offense. Second Strike: Another, more severe warning, possibly an injury or two to make the point clearer. Third Strike: Another warning. You'll lose either an item or a Pokémon, depending on the offense, and a character will temporarily be unable to serve. Fourth Strike: Final warning and a one week ban from the game. One character will be killed. By this point, you should have gotten the message. If not... Fifth Strike: Permanent ban from the game. All characters killed or compromised, all Pokémon released or given back to TR/TL. Hopefully we won't have to resort to this. So, yeah. Just be a good player -- there is no reason why I should have to use this system at all, at least not if everyone plays fairly. Questions Got a question? PM it to me or post it and I will answer ASAP. Q&A will be listed here for reference. I'd say it's pretty good by now, don'tcha think?
8. Pokémon Rise of the Rockets Consequences of a Break -- 20 years ago... Ash Ketchum's adventures had come to an end. It had been many years since he had started his journey; but having defeated the Gym Leaders of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and the Orange Islands, bested the seven Battle Frontier Brains, and managing to drastically weaken Teams Aqua, Magma and Galactic, along with foiling the plots of Team Rocket far too many times to count, he was weary; weary of travel, tired of fighting, and sick of sabotaging Team Rocket. Maybe, some day, the spark of travel would return; but for now, he just wanted to settle down and rest... and so he did. The world's most famous trainer went under the radar just as quickly as he had come. How long would it be until he came back into the spotlight? No one could tell. For a time, activities considerably slowed down. It was not to last. For in the depths of the criminal underworld, the remnants of Team Rocket, the largest and most dangerous organized crime group of all, best known for their constant defeat by Ketchum, plotted. Giovanni, their failure of a leader, was quietly usurped by the Quatre Admins, four Rocket Executives whose identities have since been lost to all. With this exchange of hats, their armies began to grow, their plans became more full-proof than before, and they planned to succeed, no matter the cost. Training regimens grew to be harsher and twice as frequent as they had been in the past; policies were revamped, allowing for far more aggressive behavior than ever before. The world was in for a very nasty surprise. Normally, fate would not allow this: A group of trainers would come along and ruin Team Rocket's dastardly scheme. They would be praised, while Team Rocket was left with little ground to stand upon. But in a moment of curiosity, Lady Fate turned the tables. How would people fare when everything as they knew it was pulled out from under their feet, she wondered. Would they be braced for such a change? Or would it catch them off guard? She was about to find out. The Takeover -- 18 years ago... Team Rocket's plan was simple: Infiltrate the governments of the four main regions and corrupt them from the inside out. And so they did -- beautifully, slyly and near perfectly. As their spies made their way into the roots of the main governments, planting the seeds for the Rockets' new reign, the organization built their armies. One by one, politicians were discredited and replaced by undercover Rockets. In the shadows, they prepared new laws, laws that would go into immediate effect once they took over. All too soon, they were ready. Their announcement came like a storm, their takeover akin to a flood through a field of fire. Using their sheer force, they marched through the lands, crushing any resistance, erecting main headquarters in the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh regions. Whole towns burned and fell; law enforcers could do nothing against them, falling powerlessly to their might. In days, they had full control, and their only rivals, the remainders of Teams Aqua, Magma and Galactic, were destroyed crushed, grounded beneath their heels. For the first time in a long, long time, Team Rocket had won. Only two places were able to hold off the invasion, though not for very long. The inhabitants of the Orange Islands managed to fortify their homes for a while, though eventually they were overrun, now watched like a worm by a hawk. The Sevii Islands, meanwhile, were decimated, the civilians who lived there driven off, and soon ignored once more by the Rockets due to the bad memories they held. All that had been before was gone; Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, famous trainers, like Ash Ketchum, Gary Oak and Richie Hiroshi, and Legendary Pokémon alike, the only symbols of hope, were driven into hiding. All hope was lost... Or so it seemed. Team Liberty -- 12 years ago... In the Rockets' celebration, they had turned a blind eye towards one key location: The Sevii Islands. They had been harmed, all right, abandoned, maybe, but they were not gone. Their ruins remained; many treasures were left there, the building materials for a resistance, and on top of that, their location had been forgotten by the Rockets. These islands were to provide the building blocks for a new, stronger resistance: Team Liberty. Drastic measures had to be taken. A large group of trainers gathered here, unknown but powerful. Many had lost their homes, were labeled as outlaws, and were being hunted, but they had still remained strong, driven by the fires of revenge. Led by three powerful trainers - Markus Aleivy (CODENAME: Goldhawk), Kane Umbra (CODENAME: Blackskull) and Shannon Ramirez (CODENAME: Bluefalcon) - they established Team Liberty, the polar opposite of Team Rocket. Using this new name, the resources of the Sevii Islands and Blackskull's inherited wealth, they built their own base of operations. Soon enough, they made their presence known, declaring war against the tyranny of Team Rocket. Captured cities praised them; the Rockets glared in disdain, immediately preparing for war and swearing to strike without mercy. Team Liberty began recruiting, taking in any volunteers, outlawed trainers, anyone they could find who was willing to help in the attempt to liberate the world. Those without training were trained; those who could fight were sent to the field; and so began the longest war the citizens of the Poké Universe had ever known. Present Time... The war has taken an incredibly bad turn for Team Liberty. Team Rocket has managed to eliminate a large number of TL Agents in battle, and as a result, Goldhawk, Blackskull and Bluefalcon are getting desperate. Despite the risks, they have decided to change their tactics. The Team Liberty Admins realize that they cannot win the war as they are now; their only hope is to get any surviving Gym Leaders, Elite Four members or Legendary Trainers or Pokémon to assist them. With their help, they can launch one massive attack on the Rockets. The idea is simple; putting it into action, however, is not. They cannot risk taking more Agents out of the field. To remedy this dilemma, they have decided to send their newer recruits out, so that they can locate and bring back these trainers. You are one such Agent Main Objectives [1] Acquire assistance from any willing outside trainers and Pokémon. Beware of spies! [2] Retrieve all Legendary Pokémon, Gym Leaders, and Elite Four members. [3] Capture as many key areas from the Rockets as possible. [4] Defeat Team Rocket and its leaders and shut down all remaining Rocket facilities to restore a reasonable amount of peace to the world. Other Objectives [1] Train your Pokémon. [2] Fill the ranks of your Pokémon team. Remember that you are only allowed six Pokémon with you at any time throughout the RP. Gameplay: Yeah. So, that was an epic shpeel, right? No? Well... whatever. So, yeah. If you didn't figure it out already, basically, in this RP, the Rockets have taken over the world (or, at least, a lot of it -- I'm not sure how much of the world consist of Kanto - Sinnoh.) You play as a member of the resistance team, Team Liberty. At the beginning, you head down to the Pokémon Center and choose your Pokémon. You will also be assigned to a team, who will travel with you on your mission. Missions vary -- some will simply be to locate a Gym Leader, Elite Four member, or some other person/Pokémon, while others will be to, say, escort someone from place to place, raise awareness for TL or shut down a Rocket Facility. Eventually, we'll move to defeating the Quatre Admins, one at a time, finally ending in an epic battle between Team Liberty and Team Rocket -- assuming we last that long. At the beginning of the RP, I'll assign you your team members and your missions. Be aware that I do this by random selection to avoid bias, and that teams are subject to shuffling down the road. After that, you're free to do whatever -- want to bring in some plot element from the Manga? Be my guest. Feel like going after a certain person for your next mission? Kay; you can do that. Character profile Fill this form out and post it here, should you wish to join. Name: This is so ridiculously obvious that the only note I'm going to add is that you need to use a logical name - something like Daniel Pepper or Emily Johnson, for instance. For realism, you can add a last name. Age: 14 is the minimum, unless you can give a good reason as to why your character would be younger. Description: This is the physical description of your character. Hair color, eye color, height, and clothes should be listed here, as well as other such information. Personality: This is your character's personality. Please do not make your character perfect - everyone has their flaws, no matter how much you may say otherwise. Also, describe! Make it in-depth! We need to know how your character would act! Do NOT put, "Fun, smart, loving." OR "Doesn't tell anyone." Background: What is your character's history? Who are his or her parents" Where was he or she born? Not required, but greatly appreciated. Pokémon: You may start with three Pokémon. However, before choosing, check the list further down to see which Pokémon are unusable. Rules [1] All BZPower rules apply -- spamming, flaming, trolling, none of that jazz is allowed, nor will it be tolerated. [2] God-modding and meta-gaming are both huge no-nos. For newer RPers, god-modding is where you act outside of your limits, like lifting up boulders with ease or, in this case, winning every single battle. Meta-gaming is where you use OOC information to your advantage, by making your character know something that they shouldn't. [3] Realism -- use it. Don't climb up Lavender Tower in one post and then climb back down it the next. Don't include conflicts with the Rockets or whoever else in every single one of your posts. It is extremely annoying when posts are abundant with fights and when everyone is zipping around everywhere. Honestly; did Frodo reach Mordor in one chapter of The Lord of the Rings? Didn't think so. [4] Even out your wins and losses. Admit it -- you never win every single battle. It's a fact, and it applies here. [5] Keep your evolutions realistic. Elaboration below. [6] Go crazy! Mix things up a little/a lot! It's more fun that way! : D [7] Use the IC and OOC tags when you post. For the uninformed, IC stands for In Character and OOC stands for Out Of Character. . EX usage: IC: The Rocket grunt hit Bob in the back of the head, knocking him out. OOC: Ooh, suspense. [8] Have fun! Evolution Guide I am setting limits on how often you can evolve your Pokémon, as I do not want everyone getting third-stage Pokémon right after we start. Not only is that unrealistic in terms of Pokémon realism, but it also takes away the fun of the game. To keep things simple, I'll just say this: If you think you've fought enough to evolve, then PM me and I'll say ay or nay. For an idea of when you should be able to evolve, here's a chart: 1st Evolution: 6-8 battles 2nd Evolution: 8 more battles. Evolution w/Stone/Item: Either use the stone/item or do 6-8 battles. Evolution w/Other Pokémon: 6-8 battles, with at least one alongside the required Pokémon. Evolution w/Trading: Either trade or do 6-8 battles. Evolution @ Certain Location: 6-8 battles with at least 2 at that kind of location (I.E. 2 battles in any forest(s) for Leafeon.) Simple, riiight? Good. Non-starter Pokémon When you first start off, you will be able to choose up to three basic-level Pokémon to start with. Below is a list of Pokémon that you can not start with. Note that you must get my consent before catching a Pokémon, be it through PM or a post. These are Pokemon that you are not allowed to start with, but can catch later on. Marill, Jigglypuff, Clefairy and Pikachu - You may start with their pre-evolutions. Dratini, Larvitar, Beldum, Bagon and Gible - These may be caught later on with my say-so. Eevee - Too easy to evolve. Any Pokemon that does not/can not evolve (I.E. Chatot, Seviper, Lunatone, etc.) These Pokemon are unobtainable. Legendary Pokemon (Moltress, Zapdos, Entei, Rayquaza, etc.) - This does not apply on missions where you must retrieve a Legendary. However, you do not get to KEEP or USE the Legendary. Fossil Pokemon (Omanite, Kabuto, Anorith, Lileep, Shieldon, Cranidos, etc.) - Two reasons: 1. They're extinct, and 2. Team Rocket has the only technology that can restore Fossil Pokémon -- for now. These may become open in the future IF you happen upon a Fossil and WHEN we get the Fossil restoring tech back. Note that some fossil Pokémon will be used by Rocket scientists at various times throughout the game, as the team is in possession of all of the regeneration machines and documents created thus far. Questions Got a question? PM it to me or post it and I will answer ASAP. Q&A will be listed here for reference. Achievements Kanto Gym Leaders Retrieved - Johto Gym Leaders Retrieved - Hoenn Gym Leaders Retrieved - Sinnoh Gym Leaders Retrieved - Orange Crew Members Retrieved - Elite Four Members Retrieved - Other Famous Trainers Retrieved - Legendary Pokémon Retrieved - So... yeah. Expanding upon that RP idea last entry. I realize that I still need to flesh it out a little bit, but I'm working on it. Meanwhile, any suggestions/opinions? Am I forgetting anything? Do you have any questions? Anything you'd like to see added or changed? I'm open to ideas. ... Anyone?
9. UPDATED RPGs are fun. I like them. They are great. And... I can't think of a funny pun. Horrible verse aside, anyone know what the current deal with the COT approval system is? EDIT: Thanks, EW. I have an idea for a Pokémon RPG that I don't think has been used yet. To give you an idea of what I mean, allow me to paint you a mental picture: It's 20 (maybe? Still working on the time) years after the Sinnoh games/anime/adventures as a whole. Four Team Rocket administrators, fed up with Giovanni's inability to successfully take over Kanto, rebel against him and take control of Team Rocket. They move on to take over not only Kanto, but Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and the Orange Islands, as well as destroying the Sevii Islands and the remnants of Teams Aqua, Magma and Galactic. Ash, Gary, and every other powerful trainer/legendary Pokémon is imprisoned, forced into hiding or dead. 10 years after the takeover, an official, organized resistance springs up (not the first -- other trainers had attempted rebellion in the past, though to little avail, mostly because they weren't as organized and they had fewer resources) led by three trainers, and they declare war on the Rockets. Present time, the war takes a turn for the worst, and so the resistance, now desperate, begins to send newer recruits -- the players, also called "Agents" -- out to the field so as to find Gym Leaders, E4 members, trainers like Ash and Gary, Legendary Pokémon, etc. while the rest of the organization continues to openly fight, so as to gather enough strength to defeat Team Rocket once and for all. The story would be fairly sandbox-like -- players could choose to include whatever they want and mix the manga and anime however they wished. The only set in stone things would be the obvious -- the resistance leaders (though they are subject to replacement by player characters, particularly in the event that any are killed,) the four Rocket Leaders, and the location of the Resistance HQ -- which is also subject to change, because you never know when the Rockets could launch a full scale attack on it. Thoughts?
10. I have a bunch of close friends who'll be in my Novel. Any takers on guessing who while I make art concepts from comic character details (meaning custom making and not drawing way too busy this week <
11. Since things are soo hecktic the way I'm working (Note: I'm okay, and I know I asked for it ) but I'm not continuing my ChroniclesoftheDemonworld Series. Do to the fact that it hampers my own two other topics and my CA Bizz and to the fact that I gotta focus on my Novel I'm gonna make. Sadly that goes for the Synui series remake as well, but its all for the better I'm not asking to close the topic because I'm afraid the Mods will close my other two topics, I'm trying as best I can but seriously. And for people who still want to be in the novel and are in my comics series please pm me and send me that character data, What:Demon,Angel, Creature or Hybrid your character is, Life Story, and etc. I will not make a Profile unless it is totally necessary T~0. Anywho I must go do some reasearch on Demonology, Fantasy Creatures, and find some inspiring anime and movie stuff

13. This is somewhat of a preview and as you can see there's Chane's many forms, her human form is crying because she somehow had been betrayed to, to be a sacrifice to the Netherworld. Reason why? After the Demon curse it had given several children unknown to her, and had given a special mark; the mark used to belong to female violent newborn from a Unknown Shape shifter who was her father but left, Sheeal'Leea after she and her unborn child had died from his betrayal. Now she waits until she can be born again, and becomes so being as in spirit possession in Chane's body in the form of the mark. That's all I'll tell for know but here's the art for it

On this warm Valentines Day in the still chilling cool of Febuary, near a Collage Facility down the road of the Down Town Colorado town of Springs. The day starts upright and rowdy in clamor and sweet tenderheartedness, as Taka was beating around her friend Gavla with fight practice, and martial arts moves, Arrol was having a good conersation with Redrose about gardens and how to manage them. While Skull was irratating Chan'e, he was pestering her about V-Day asking why she had not liked this day to a point that Chan'e shouted at Skull loud enough for the Doorm members to hear. "SKULL! STOP PASSING OFF YOUR TEASING AS A COVERUP FOR YOU STUPID QUESTIONS!!! >_<" Chan'e ended the conversation between them with her painting from her loud outburst, while Skull simply smiled with a wide grin. "What?" Chan'e now asked in a concerned and confused manner. "Oh. Nothing, Just got you to get the others involeved in the matter." Taka without meaning to sarcastic had simply blurted out her question with the uomost curiousity and sarcastic confustion. "What the heck is going on? Whats this about not liking Valentines Day? Its just been ehm-hmm >_0....well its just been my thing where I don't like Love. Chan'e then saw Skull grin widen as if he thought of a brillant idea, she was about to protest but was cut-off by Skulls cunning sneaky tone of voice. "Sooo. The next day Chan'e and her friends had gone down the street to the cafe eatery Callie's Cafe to eat and findout if there were any guys that Chan'e liked. 15. Prologue ~~~~~~~~ "Welcome to Chane's comics. Make your self at home friends.", A sweet modist voice said almost tenderly. The voice whom was speaking was the Demongirl named Chan'e, she was a kind, fun and free spirited little young lady, practically childish but seemed mature at times. This young Demongirl was busy making way for her four RZ comic formed friends and her RZ form little brother named Delta. Exactly like all the others she was in RZ form, but had Rayg wings behind her to distingquish herself from the others. As the Guests she had invited had arrived to the small ramp up to a rather short star the entry arborway shaped like Lihkan's Hau, colored red with the pillers as gold mata toa's skulls atop. Chane's little sibling was first to greet his older sister. Next down along a short line all asked questions and greeted on another. For quite awhile more GuestStars became PerminateGuestStars the short series that was likely to be thought of as an ordinary comic making day. But the Journey that is about to begin is anything but ordinary or happily gleeful without violence. No, this has a whole lot more to explain before all was done and put to rest. Chan'e had to infact lie to her friends where she had come from...call this selfish but its entirely for a good reason. None of Chane's friends- she felt would not understand her, or just because she didn't want them to know for their safety or because of judgement. Perhaps so, but her friends knowing about her family-(or just plainly the other side of her family), she felt plainly wasn't needed. So the lie she told was that Aliens from Halo and from Alien vs Predator had come and taken over her palace. No Friends that part where Covenant took over did happen. And almost three casualties almost died do the fact the Aliens that Chan'e kept inside her Dungon had made four little chests bursters from their hosts, when facehuggers were launched toward The four Gold team Elites. One had actually died before his chest was sown back up. And out of mercy and kindess she let them join on one condition- that they would not betray their loyalty, and she had declared that they would go as they wish. Many odd adventure's that Chan'e and her friends would face would never be same ever again. New friends and new Challenges that they all would face, the dangers and the love they give would be remembered for all time in Syi-Nui. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~End Prologue ^~^ On an important Note. I'm excepting Co-Epic Authors as well
16. Waking in the Morn, stretch legs and feet. Thinking of getting some food, might something good to eat. After daily Bible studies, and alittle comp typing, I sit at my little brother's side while he does flute piping. At the stroke of three, nothing much else to do for Me. So I sit and watch TV, or listen to my CD. Writing, Planning, Plotting, and daydreaming the freetime glee, of imaginations innocent and carefree. The day almost done and light almost dark. I sit in my room and read my book, till the night has come and the day is done. So you like?
17. Chapter 2: They Will Fall! Ziglak looked out of a Carrier window, seeing a Covenant Colony on a moon they went past. It was symbolised with a flag, coloured Purple with a Blue circle and several Symbols in it. Soon, a young Elite Major, around 16 or so approached Ziglak and attempted a conversation with him. "Ziglak' Xar' Variokee sir," he said, getting Ziglak's attention. "Yes?" Ziglak asked. "Where are we heading?" he asked. "A human planet, appearing to be small in size, but with heavy defense," Ziglak answered. "How strong are our cannons sir?" "Strong enough to put a obliterate the hardest of stone, well, damage it a fair amount at least." "What are their range?" "2X3 kilometres." "Who ordered these cannons in?" "Me." "And what would be your rank?" "Arbiter Selector," Ziglak informed him, moaning slightly, knowing what would come next. "What are your privliges, and how is this rank achieved," the Major Domo asked. Ziglak sighed, and answered him. "The Arbiter Selector is a one time rank, and I am the only who has ever held it. I achieved it via the slaughter of Tens of Thousands, and the ability to select efficient Arbiters. My Privilges are higher than a Zealots, and about equal to a Supreme Commander, having access to any chanels I want, and giving orders to any soldier, ship, fleet or squad that does not have any equivilants to myself," Ziglak told, and seeing the Major about to move his mouth, he said, "And yes, I plan on becoming a Councilor when I retire from this rank." "Do you have a mate?" the Major asked hopelessly. "More or less," Ziglak answered. "Why more or-" the Major was cut-off by a loud rumble. "Oh no they don't!" Ziglak yelled, runing for the air-lock. When he arrived, Ziglak saw Marines emerging from a door. He grabbed his swords and ran at them, activating them in the process. He pulled his arms forward when he came to a halt, killing two Marines of the 12. He then started slicing them to pieces, his shields taking in their bullets, which consisted of Pistol shots and Assault Rifle bullets. He'd soon killed all but one. The last Marine stepped backwards, but Ziglak grabbed him by his under-armour suit. "Why are you here!" Ziglak demaned, his sword reared back, reday to run the human through. "Why should I tell you," the Marine coughed. Then something slipped out of his pocket. Ziglak glanced at the object, which was a picture of a child and a mother, the Marine's wife and son. "Oh, so you have allowed your families to come to your planet. A stupid and irashional decision. They will die in the pillage, and their bodies will just add to the greatness of the sight of death," Ziglak told the Marine, a dark sense of humor easily being detected in his voice. The Marine saw Ziglak eyes change to a bitter coldness, revealing the Sangheili's true colours. "My god, how do you live with yourself?" the Marine muttered. "Quite easily and pleasurably," he answered, severing the Marines arms off, letting him bleed to death in the boarding craft. Ziglak then set about loading the other bloodied bodies in the craft, then opening an explosives lock and stashing a High-Radiation Plasma Bomb in the front seat, so when it reached its destination, the onlookers would see the bodies and the gorey sight, before having their world be blackened by a Radiated Explosion. Ziglak put a small survalience camera in the small ship and shielded it against the Explosion, then linked it to his Video Survalience Room, so that he could watch the devestaion. And finally, he shot the message "NICE TRY" into the back of the Boarding Craft's door, and sent the vehicle back to its owners. Later in the Video Survalience Room, Ziglak laughed darkly and the murder and destruction he had caused. Chapter 3: The Invasion Begins "Sir, we have sightings on their planet!" a Sangheili messanger began. "Permission to begin assault?" "Yes," Zigak told him, "but look at this first." Zigak was in the Survalience Room, and his intenions were obvious. The messager looked at the biggest screen there, and saw bodies. Men, chidren, women, they were all dead, their world in pieces and flames. The Sangheili looked shocked. "You don't like it?" Ziglak asked puzzled. The Sangheili shook his head. "Then start fighting more," Ziglak told him. After the message, Covenant Scouts spotted 3 Super MAC Guns ahead. "Fire on them!" Ziglak ordered his men. They let their canons roar, and soon, all that was keft of the MAC Guns was wreckage, so soon that the Humans didn't even get to begin Aussault. "Good work," Ziglak praised, now, let us take their planet for our own! So, covenant Dropships (Phantoms AND Spirits) departed and flew down to the planet right in their sights, one that was green in coulour, but it was obviously just the Atmoshpere. Ziglak and his DeathKnight General landed somewhat close to a Human structure. His General (Vakaz' Zarkxee) had spotted human presence, so he went forward with the rest of Ziglak's men, some other DeathKnights, their armour steel in colour, with red detail and with an Aussault Harness. Vakaz wore the same, but with a Commando Helmet. "Sir, I recommend you take the other side, it will give us more of an advantage if we run into any Humans," Vakaz recommened Ziglak. Ziglak did so, and soon, there were two parties heading around a large area covered with stone toward an enemy facility. When they met up, both teams said that they didn't encounter anything, so Ziglak told them to pull out their Particle Beam Rifles and Long Ranged Covenant Carbines and zoom in on the entrance. "Enemies spotted," a DeathKnight sergeant confirmed, "right above the gate. Itappears one is wearing a full Suit of Armour." "Let me look at that," Ziglak said, grabbing his weapon. He then saw the human and said, "Oh god! ODSTs!" Everyone one looked at him. "OK, I want all of you to use you active camoflauge and get around the back of them. I'll stay here and snipe them in the shadows. While they're distracted, assassinate the ones distracted," Ziglak ordered. They moved out, and Ziglak grabbed his Particle Beam Rifle, zoomed in on the back of a ODST's neck, then shot. Blood trickled to the ODSTs feet, and his body fell and dropped into a collection of rocks, the body now limbless. The Marines sent a scout to check on the ODST. What they saw was the scout almost throw-up, so they grabbed their weapons and maned their turrets, soon firing. Ziglak was Behind a rock, and had a small hole that allowed him to destroy more Marines. After 6 more gaurds had been shot in the head, the other Sangheili had assassinated the rest. Ziglak scaled the closed iron gate of this "Base" then met up with his soldiers. "Report," he demaned. "We've spotted a large human town up north. This only appears to be a look out with a few homes," Ziglak's Minor of the group told him. "In that case, kill everyone here. I will borrow Vakaz and Demax," Ziglak instructed. The soldiers jumped down from the gate and went began to move inside the base to kill the few people here. Ziglak and his two escourts made their way to a human home. At night, a marine returned home, back from the human town. It wasn't long before he noticed the mass of bodies, all hanging from the gate roof by their necks. And although the marine didn't know this, some marines had been hung alive. He panicked and ran through the gate's open door, not thinking about the fact that it shouldn't be open. He passed the armoury and ran into his home, where he saw his family... with Covenant Carbines pointed at thier heads, an unkown force of Soldiers holding them hostage. Then he saw a pair of eyes, a pair of eyes that held the presence of darkness and cold. The Human Soldier's son began to cry. "Do what I say, and they will not be harmed," Ziglak told him, letting himself be seen. Please Review Here
18. I'm am glad and happy to annouce and advertize for my good friend Tiranak-A.K.A-~ZMOG~ His first Epic of Book One: Of All Sangheili. Please Enjoy reading, please post maturely. Thank you. And now without further a'duo- I write his epic's chapter's here. This is my first attempt at an epic, so C&C is much appreciated. Prolouge Ziglak studied the other Sangheili that was called forward to the stand. He was an average height, 6"8, and was wearing Zealot Armour. "These DeathKnights of his have poisened the minds of my Clan against me and my realatives, those of my Clan who remain!" he shouted, guesturing at Ziglak. Ziglak, the Sangheili (who was named Rshuy' Rejadee) and the Elite High council were all located in Truth's court as this occured. The matter was about several of Ziglak's DeathKnight warrirors apprently talked Rshuy's Clan into betraying him. Ziglak personally thought this to be a punishment for him, considering the statement Ziglak was about to make. "You may be seated for the moment," Truth told Rshuy. "Ziglak, please come foward." Ziglak did as told and stepped foward. "Zealot, or Rshuy' Rejadee, as your name is, have you not thought of this to be a permitted retaliation against you?" Ziglak began. "After all, it was you who was found to be owner of plans to attempt to assinate my forces Generals and bring them down, was it not?" The other Sangheili then rebutted, "Since when has it been that I was found to be owner of these so called "plans"?" "Oh, just now," Ziglak stated, just before a screening of a survalience video was screened. It had shown Reshuy and several other Elites in a room with one singular table with the individuals discussing the written plans and how they would accomplished the tasked required to pull it off. Ziglak then diverted his glance toward Rshuy. "You will pay for this dearly," he said, moving his arm toward the hilt of his Energy Sword. "Guards, please monitor the Zealot," Truth ordered, viewing Rshuy's movements. The guards did as told. "My Phrophet of Truth, I would suggest accusing this tratior to our holy Covenant of Treason and attempted murder, due to the fact that I am his superior as the Arbiter Selector," Ziglak offered. "I will take those exact actions Ziglak' Xar' Variokee. Rshuy' Rejadee, you are scentenced to prison for a yet to be decided amount of time to the DeathKnight keep. Guards, please escort him there," Truth ordered. "Gladly your holyness," one of the Honour Guards stated, then taking him away. This was very unfortunate for Rshuy, as Ziglak would come around every month and ask him to cough up the plans. And when he didn't, he was stabbed with a spear once each of those 30-31 days until he did as planned. Ziglak merely looked him as someone with unfortunate luck, and felt no wrong or sorrow for what he did. After the Court had come to an agreed verdict, Ziglak would be called to the Prophets to be told of something that would change the Covenant forever. End Chapter. Chapter 1: The Search After Ziglak had accused Rshuy and sent him to an eternity of injustice, he went with the Prophets, as advised, or, more accurately, ordered. When they Reached their destination, Ziglak took a few seconds to waste viewing the area. It was typical Covenant Achitecture, Purple walls and the same coloured ceiling, with a pink-ish floor, walkways spread along it's centre. Although, there were a few things that set it apart from other sections of High Charity. First, and most obvious, was the amount of Honour Guards defending the area. Secondly, was the Incriate Patterns along the walls, plus the Thrones, which were also things that weren't usual. And Thirdly, it had Light Purple glowing around the place, on the massive Spike Formations, and on the two Massive Doors, the glow forming itself as a Shield with the Head of a Pike. "Welcome to our new Sanctum Ziglak' Xar' Variokee," Regret welcomed. Ziglak snorted under his breath. He only trusted, serived and worshiped Truth. He wasn't called Truth for an absent reason. "We have a misson for you that will truely test your courage and determination Ziglak, but will more test your loyalty to the Covenant. Still though, it is extremly urgent," Truth told Ziglak. "And that would be your holiness?" Ziglak asked. "We have found another Human civilisation. They have been... experimenting with training, or let's say, creating Super Soldiers. They planet must Fall Immediatly," Truth explained. "How many Human Ships defend this Planet?" Ziglak asked. "150," Truth told him. "I will need a fleet of 100 to-" "You are to link up with several Zealot Fleet Commanders and aid them. You will be supplied with 30 Ships," Truth told Ziglak. "A fair ration my Holy Master," Ziglak stated, bowing. "Now, Arbiter Selector, be off, and take your Death Knight Generals and Majors with you!their Planet will fall!" Truth exlaimed. Ziglak then left the building to meet with these Zealots. It wasn't long before he found a satisfactory amount the next day. He had three Zealot Fleet Commanders: Tekit' Washumee, Quawtr' Sulomee and Yushv' Fikaxee He had ventured in a Spirit to find Zealots able for the job in Ships leading the seemingly infinite amounts of Fleets guarding High Charity. First he'd encountered a Zealot who seemed yoo power hungry. As this is what he said once Ziglak told him about the plans: "I will kill every last one of them and gain my position as leader of all fleets." Ziglak replied to this: "Stop dreaming and start living this war, or just die." Of course, it wasn't long before he met some sensible Zealots. After all, most of them were fine. Although, when he was about to aquire his third voulenteer, he ran into an Ultra who had a Carrier and was willing to help. We was let help because they'd need alot of room because most of the Covenant Destroyers and Fighting ships were controled by AI, as it wasn't worth losing soldiers to Human ships if the were going to invade and kill every last one of those parastites on the planet. Soon, he'd found the men he needed, and they loaded their massive waves of men into the Carriers and set off to destroy the Humans and their planet. Please review and post here
19. I've already created this artwork and its story. But I needed to do a re-make. This explains my depression I have about too much Vanity . The Character is the 2nd spirit of the Angel of Death, and she discribes her dreams of hateful Men who took what was dear to her. Her flesh and blood in a way was stripped and sold for selfish purposes in vain. And she wakes up from her dream and realizes that it wasn't real. She soon lives her life to the fullest and dies, in doing so helps those in need beside the Angel of Death. Alltogether what I'm trying to express is that the stuff I see and hear is women and even teenage girls being mistreated, and even abusing themselves. Dressing up to impress in a very horrible way, and thus Some but Most Guys in the World abuse and disrespect them. Taking advantage of girls who are despreate for love or attintion, and some guys believe that All Girls are like the "Attention Getters", but truth is all girls are not like that. And I'd like an understanding to come between both Guys and Girls. So please enjoy this short poem like story: Death In Vanity. Thank you. I'm am born of carnal flesh and blood, but I grow to not want the things and the attention's of this World. When I am grown of Natural beauty of God's Creation I do well to keep out of trouble. But as innocent as I am trouble still yet comes to find me from the darkness of the shadows in the middle of the World. From what I've learned no one loves me for how I am. All that is dear to me, my Flesh stripped from my Bone and my Blood runnith cold. In the Blackness of Death Hate runs in my mind, Hate of how Men felt about Women, hate that abuse was in this world toward the weaker women. My heart begins to slow. I realize that all my fears a nightmare and continue not. I feel dead and lonely but I know that I'm still here. I now long for warmth, and safety and comfort. I'm not the only one who has this feeling....not all are bad as my nightmares tell me. My Blood begins to warm, and my Heart begins to beat again. I am able to give hope, I am able to sacrifice all that I need for the sake of others....Protector and Friend. Now Dead and gone I seek to help those on there way. The Protecter of the Helpless. 21. The Dawn of Aeropolis Intro Written by Axxerous Aeropolis was silent for what seemed hundreds of years. People of the surrounding lands never visited, or even looked at Aeropolis. But the days were growing darker in all of the worlds. Not just Aeropolis and it’s world, but every world out there. Akami dropped to the ground as he was on his way to see the king. He had news. News of an unidentified enemy that had appeared and had attacked his crew of light warriors. The enemy fled not long after he arrived. Must be afraid. Thought Akami. Akami was a great warrior. One of the kings best. He was the most loyal knight the king had. *** Ario was looking for a shoreline. He swam underwater for a moment to catch one last glimpse of his new enemy before he went to Mute Castle to tell the guards. Ario was the kings best swimmer, but he was kinda new, so the king never spoke to him face to face. *** Clara and her team, Fugi, Lauren, Ikami, Inukerrin, and Wheuii, struck the new enemy viciously before he finally fled. They looked at each other in confusement and seriousness. It didn’t take much for them to get going towards the castle. Being the only girls on the kings side at the time, they wanted their reputation high so all would know just how strong girls really are.*** Creden, Tom, and Michael flew towards Mute Castle. Well, Tom was carrying the wingless Creden. They had fought a strange enemy, and being high to the king, they had to tell him. The enemy had shot ice at them, and it almost froze Michael’s wing, until Creden fire bolted it.ccThey had never met anyone able to freeze their firey hot wings that fast. *** Legoran and Fairun fought back as their opponent shot shards of ice at them. The enemy was tough, but Fairun was tougher! Legoran was tough too, but he was hit as soon as the enemy arrived by surprise. Now he was less powerful, after finally unfreezing himself. He was still strong, but it seemed as if he would drop any moment. Fairun kept a close eye on him, making sure he could make it to the castle when the fight was over. *** Zero was in light form, but he was being chased by something, or someone. All he could make out was a shadowed figure that resembled himself. He tried to lure the enemy into the light, but it wasn’t working. Zero was loosing control over himself, but he never turned to his shadow form. He couldn’t not now.*** King Javogeh sat almost perfectly straight in his chair. After hearing tons of news about new enemies attacking, he was afraid what they might be. Even his best warriors noted that they were too afraid. Dawn was rising, but on what he still couldn’t ponder. Sir Vlascus led his giant team into an open field in the land of Mute. He was preparing something foretold in all the prophecies he had ever read. His team was Albert, Argane, Dark, Jack, Kannen, Princess Alladore, Samantha, Sarah, Skithia, Weldren, and Zhade. The Masters finest men, and women. Sir Vlascus was the Masters right hand man, and he could handle almost anything. Allen and his brother Ryou, the Shadow Ice weilders, followed close behind Vlascus’ army. They were making sure everything went right. If anything went wrong, they could blast Shadow Ice on the opposer, and it would hold them a while. The Shadow Ice Fighters, or the Shadow Ice army, were returning from their missions in the land of Mute. They had gathered information to help Vlascus defeat each opposer quickly. Jaden, Ardon, and Chaotix watched from afar, telling Lord Chaor everything that happens. “In a team of dark warriors, one must keep an eye on another if he wishes to keep his rank,” Chaor always said. Flare, Malvadine, and Odinn were backups for Vlascus’ army and they were ready, but they were worried. From what they heard from the Shadow Ice Fighters and other tales, Mute residential armies gave them the chills. Seiyra, Siado, and Sidicous were attending to Lord Chaor’s Battle Gear which was slightly damaged from his last match with his own warriors. They loved to be on the battlefield, but Chaor wanted attendance on his Battle Gear first. Spilicus, Tray, Vergil, and Vincent sat on small chairs in the throne room. As bored as they were, they still didn’t bother to ask to go into battle, which is basically asking to die, when Chaor already chose his army. Spirah was watching Chaor very closely. Spirah longed for his own power such as Chaors. Those two were tribal enemies. *** Zerakness followed closely behind Zero, making sure to stay in the shadow. Zerakness was the shadow duplicate of Zero. When Zero became shadow form, the two shared one mind. He was searching to take the power of the Zero Cross from Zero, but he had to kill Zero, and survive, to do that. But he wouldn’t give up. *** Lord Chaor glanced around his throne. He had an odd feeling that he was being watched. He saw nothing but his team members, and the army preparing for battle outside of his window. Chaor was determined to fulfill the written prophecies, so he had to do what was said to be done. It was the dawn of something, so said the prophecy, but the dawn of what was not foretold. Clara walked quietly through the castle halls dressed in a simple soldiers uniform. she had no reason to where her full suit of armor. It was hard to believe this beautiful woman was once a thin malnourished little girl. She was now fully grown, she had truly blossomed, in fact she had been mistaken for a princess a couple times before. To keep herself out of the limelight, so to speak she kept her fair hair short and dressed in a soldiers uniform. She was the last living member of the Draco family, the Draco family were charged with the responsibility of keeping the king safe. All the men produced of this family line had become a hero of sorts, especially her father, who gave his life in battle. Her father Daniel Draco had a statue made in his likeness in the middle of the city, his men loved him for his brilliance on the battle field. In fact rummer was that he could have easily overthrown the king. However he did not wish to commit such a sin. He served his king faithfully until the day he breathed his last. Rumor was that he was the last of the family line, no one knew that he had a wife, and that he had a child. when Clara was found taking care of her uncle, her fathers sickly half brother. Rumors spread like wild fire, the king quickly took her from her home. Offering her anything she desired. He was quite shocked when the small thin girl bowed at his feet and announced. "I wish to serve you, like my father before me. I know that I am a girl, But my good King, I wish to become a knight." And the rest, as they say is history. Lauren was trying to sit calmly in the castle gardens, resisting the urge to pick up her swords and slash something through. Her eyes closed, Lauren fidgeted knowing very well what would happen if another area of flowers were dead when the gardeners came outside. Suddenly, she jumped up with energy and ran up to the castle. Lauren decided she should walk instead of sit for meditation today. Zero was panicking. After he had escaped his shadow enemy, he almost lost control of his form. Unknowing of his enemy's ability to share minds with him when he was in dark mode, Zero gave in to the pressure. He transformed into his dark self. He seemed to have calmed down, but he knew something was wrong. He could sense it. He could sense someone. He looked around. Seeing no one, he became uneasy. He pulled out his gun. Somehow, the King had given him a weapon that transformed from a sword to a gun, as he transformed from light to darkness. He pointed the gun into a nearby patch of shadows. Why are you so afraid? It's just you, or me, but we're the same. Zero, your power of the Cross Form will be mine! All to Lord Chaor! said a voice in his mind. Zero turned in every direction, for the voice seemed to come from everywhere. No one was anywhere. Confused, and slightly startled, Zero began to run toward Mute Castle to see if his teamates knew anything. Creden looked back as they landed only to see Zero running up fear on his face. "Are you okay?" he called out before griping his sword. He began to smile at the thought of fighting. Cara entered the throne room and bowed low before the thrown knealing on knea. "You called your magesty? How can your servent serve you?" She questioned keeping her head low. Zero stopped to glare at Creden. "You want a fight, don't you?" Zero said to Creden with no sign of a smile or a smirk. "Look, I've got some weird voice that keeps talking to me, and everywhere I go I seemed to be followed but no one is ever there. I'm going to the king to ask him what's going on since he has some knowledge." Zero began to run towards the castle again. He was hoping Creden wasn't going to come back and try to fight him, because his Cross Form was leaking out. His Cross Form would devour any opposer. Once she reached the opposite end of where she started, Lauren followed the path out of the castle. No one would need her, unless they called. Feeling adventerous, Lauren ran into the forest looking for something interesting. King Javodeh looked at Clara a moment. He then spoke. "Theese new enemies, they use ice. Do you know anything else? Also, where is Zero? I haven't seen him at all today. His report was to be said five hours ago. " The King seemed to be thinking while he was talking. His words were not as graceful as they useually were, and his expression was rather grimm. He stared into Clara's eyes, but he was somewhere else deep in thought. Almost as if he was in a trance. He knew something that they didn't. "I'm afriad I know nothing more then the fact that our enimie use ice." 'my one weaknes..' Clara thought dryly. "Unfortunatly, no i have not herd from Zero as well. In fact after this meeting I was going to go out and find him. As a matter a fact i can sence hi spressence now.." She stopped speaking she looke dto her king, his eyes were blank and thoughtfull., she knew his mind was a million miles away. "If i may be so bold your magesty, might I inquire what is on your mind? " The King looked at her more now than the space infront of her face. "It's all happening as it was written to. The unknown enemies, the shadow ice, and a disturbance btween one of our heroes and one of the enemies. The prophecy fortells we have a major challenge heading our way. It's Dawn. It's finally dawn. " The King spoke so grimly. Zero stumbled into the throne room of Mute Castle. "Agh!" He sreamed while holding his hands over his ears. "Tell it to go away! Mocking my every thought! Gragh!!!!!!!!" Zero began to stumble frowards, hunching over his knees. His eyes began to glow a bright red as he began to transform. Cross Form was taking over. Then he felt an arm on his shoulder. He looked at his shoulder, but saw no hand. Nothing was there. But he then transformed to his light form, and the voice stopped. The unseen hand left Zero's shoulder. Zero looked at King Javodeh. There was worry in both of their faces. "Zero!" Creden called as he ran into the throne room. "Oh, you're highness." he said bowing before moving closer to them. Creden frowned as he thought of all the legend he had heard which seemed to be happening right infront his eyes. While practicing her sword skill on a stump, Lauren saw a flash of light out of the corner of her eye. It was rushing to the castle. Confused at what to do, she figured she'd better go back to see what was happening. Lauren ran back to the castle, but stopped when she realized she hadn't a clue where the person went. "Shoot!" she muttered. Cara quickly stood drawing her sword when the men entered the throne room. She spun herself in front of the king protectively. She could sense both of the men's pressence, but there was another that made her skin crawl. Was the prophesy to come true. "...." Her eyes turned a deep violet color, as she changed the position of her booted feet. Suddenly she sent a lightingng bolt threw the air craking though the castle walls, the projectile furiosuly sought out hit one who dare spy on her king and her friend Zero. Samantha sat in the tavern waiting for people to come in. She twirled her hair around her finger. Samantha wonder how the princess was doing she had not seen her in a long time. Samantha got up and walked over and picked up her weapon and stuck fingers in the hole in between the two blades and began to spin it around her fingers. Samantha saw a couple of dark solders come in and sit down she was kind of happy because they were on her side but she wasn't about to trust them. So Samantha walked over to them and sat with them and listened to them talk. Zero looked over ar Creden. Still looking a bit frightened, Zero began to think. He had no idea what could have happened. "I...I...I don't know what happened, or whose hand i felt, or whose voice it was...." He said. King Javodeh jerked up at the words "Whose hand I felt" and looked at Zero closer. "You felt a hand? Like the prophecy fortells also the arrival of an unseen friend...." The King said. "A friend?" questioned Cara, "well wopops." She called back the bolt motioning with ther gloved hands and snapped her fingers causing the elctricity to disperse harmlessly in the air. She frowned slightly, as she looked at Zero, she had never seen him so afraid in all the years she knew him. She fell silent sheathing her sword. Zero's expression turned from scared to very serious. He pulled out his trans weapon whic was now a sword. "Our little friend isn't the only one here. There's someone else," Zero said with all the fury returned to his voice."Inhuman." Evil laughter sounded loudly in the castle. Anyone partially near the castle could have heard that laughter. Zero's face showed no sign of wory as he scanned the room for clues of the new arrivals location. He would rather die himself than let someone harm his friends. Expecially Clara who cared for him most. King Javodeh pulled out his shield. He was luckily wearing his armor. Someone, or something was there. Feeling a lightning bolt shiver through the castle, Lauren ran to the throne room. She wondered what could have been bothering Clara if she sent a bolt out. The shiver quickly retreated as Lauren entered the throne room. She saw the King, Zero, and Ceden were also in the room. Cara pulled out her sword once more hearing the laughter, being a energy elemental, she found it disturbing that she could not pin point the dark energy that was seeping through the air. "Show yourself!" She shouted aloud. "You shall conduct yourself properly in front of our king!" she made the one who laughed angry, she felt the eyes on her flesh. Her eyes turned violet as the energy became more prominate. She breathed calmly she suddenly reliezed her breath turning to mist do to the cold of the air. Samantha got message that soldiers were coming. She told the soldier she was sitting with as she had her sword at her side and her other weapon still on her fingers. Samantha thought to herself "At least they don't know how close I am to the princess and lord Chaor." She got up and went over to the bar at the tavern and sat down. She began to wonder "What if the king or a higher rank is with them I would have to get out of here before they figure out who I am." Samantha sighed. "What's going...?" Lauren stopped as her breath became a visible mist and her memory began to work. "Shadow ice? Is it really the legend?" Zero looked at Clara. He was looking inenseley. He wanted to ensure her safety, but he wanted to know every thing she was thinking. He then aimed the point of his sword at an open patch of air. Pulsing red energy from his sword began to encircle the area, forming the shape of a treacherous demon, but this demon was more treacherous than any he'd ever seen. His red energy stayed on the being showing every move it made. King Javodeh fired a flame ball at the being from his fire blasting gun. He kept it for serious occasions such as this. The being simply shrugged off the fire. Zero thought. Shadow Ice, it destroys fire... We need Icilax for this mission, but he's not here yet... Clara stared at the demon who finally showed itself. It smiled at her, Why did it's eyes rest on her that way? She whirled her sword, she clamly aproached the demon, and they began to circle. "You shan't harm my king!" she shouted at the demon swinging her sword. She had to distract it, until help arived. "Such a pretty little thing," it sneared as it blocked her attack with it's own sword. "You would make a nice gift for my king.." She stuck at it agian cutting her sword through the air, cuting away some of the creatures hair. "I'm not going anywhere." She replied. Zero went over to help Clara out. He never showed any sign of emotion. He struck his sword, and shot more red energy at the demon. King Javodeh began to get up to help, hoping they wouldnt notice he was helping until it was too late for him to quit helping. Samantha got a message a demon needed help and ran off when she got there she watched from a window and when she saw the other sides king she knew she couldn't help him. Samantha kicked in the window and jumped in and front of the demon giving him enough time to run the ran after she attacked. Samantha fallowed the demon out of where the were to the tavern and back in where he sat down. She looked at him and rolled her eyes. "Samantha why did you help me if they find out who you are you know lord chaor will go and save you" He said in an evil voice. Clara stuck at the demon. The demon reliezed it was easily outnumbered. it suddenly smiled and cast an ice spell. Clara found herself trapped in a large block of ice. "Surrender, or die, my messege bring. Now i must return to my king." And with that the demon sank onto the floor disapearing. Knowing that Clara's allies would be distracted by the fact she was trapped in a large block of ice. Frozen in a fighting positition. "Clara!" Lauren cried. She thought that the demon freezing Clara could be a diversion, but she decided to try and un-freeze her friend. Zero stood in shock for a moment. He was motionless. Something was more powerful than he thought. This was no ordinary demon. He was feeling ice prickle up his neck. Samantha screamed as a bunch of light soldiers carried her to the light castle she kicked away from them. She began to run away till one of them grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her back Samantha kicked him in the face. Samantha looked around then ran down one of the streets not knowing where she was going at all. She stopped when she saw some kids and began to sing. I love the part in fairytales That's very near the end When all the kingdom cheers for their new queen And all is well, and all is good And everyone belongs And happily they're ever after-ing But when I enter the kingdom of dreams And face the promise of all I can be Will they see me as a heroine? Tell me, will they let me in? Won't someone let me in? Clara stood frozen solid in place. Her eyes wide open, she could her a voice call out to her wickedly. She had to break free of this prison! but how? Lauren cautiously held out her palm, increasing the fire magic's intensity slowly. She didn't want hurt Clara if she burned her by melting the ice too quickly, but moved as fast as she dared. "Can you hear me, Clara?" she asked, feeling stupid. Clara just stared out, she was unable to reply that yes, she could hear her friend calling for her. The ice begn to slowly weaken melting away. Samantha saw the guards again and ran off but they blocked her. She pulled out her sword stabbed one off them making him fall to the ground. People began to yell "demon demon get the king." Samantha ran off but stopped when she saw this let girl all by herself. She grabbed her hand and ran off later she stopped and picked her up but came to a dead end. The people came faster and faster Samantha jumped up the fire escape to the roof and ran then jumped to a diffrent roof with the little girl gripping on to her back. King Javodeh fired a fire bolt at the ice Clara was trapped in. It melted away, and she was free. A New Dimension Gate Opens SSB Brawl Intro So Far: After the recent trouble with shadow ice enemies, the dimension gate of Mute and Infage open sending all of it’s inhabitants to Aeropolis. The battle between dark and light still rages on in the new location. Meanwhile: As the people of Mute and Infage battle so intensely, no one notices a new door that appeared. Out of it came lots of people of many sorts. One in particular, Marth, notices not only how strange the land is, but also that there is a strange presence somewhere near him. He turns around to see the one and only Master Hand. After many more people and items spill out of the door marked SSB Brawl, it closes and disappears. Master Hand was still wounded from Tabuu. When a few more Brawlers noticed Master Hand, they remembered old times and began to attack Master Hand. Marth quickly pulled each of them off. He explained that Master Hand could be an ally in combat. They understood. Zelda came forth and healed Master Hand. He arose. As he rose, a few Brawlers readied themselves. Master Hand spoke for the first time in ages. “Thank you for helping me. Please forgive me of what I’ve done in the past, I would like to join your team,” He said. A few Brawlers began to snicker. Marth got up and stood before the others. “We could use his help! We are heroes, we are supposed to care about others besides ourselves! If you can’t be like that, leave this team,” Marth said. The Brawlers looked at each other and raised their hands to their foreheads. Master Hand put himself in that position and acted like he had a forehead to whack. A couple of Brawlers began to chuckle, but the ones next to them elbowed them to get them settled down. There was much more to be done. Master Hand turned to Marth. “You know, I think we are in the middle of something here, maybe we should move, or like…” He said. “What do you mean? We just fell out of…a….door…” Marth replied. Lots of angry looking warriors were staring and grunting in the direction of the Brawlers who were right in the middle. It was the people of Mute and Infage. “Who do creeps think you are falling out of a door and stumbling over to the middle of OUR battle?” Asked an angry Zero. “As I said, we should get going master Marth, um, we’re not trying to interfere or anything, um we-” Master Hand was cut off by Marth. “Who are you and where are we? Why were we sent here? Tell me or I will stand here forever,” Marth said in a heroically brave tone. “We are people of Mute and those are people from Infage, but we don’t know where we are either. We just appeared here just as you did Mr. Marth,” said Zero. “I’m afraid I don’t let people use my name if I don’t know theirs and I don’t go by Mister. If we form an alliance we can help each other out, but you all don’t seem like the type of folk to be so generous like that. Or are you?” Marth asked. “It’s Zero, and an alliance can only be formed if you prove yourselves worthy. I declare-” Zero began to say. “A Brawl. You’re on. We Brawl daily. We’re called BRAWLERS. Be warned, my team has never lost,” Marth said. “Probably because you’ve faced no one else but each other,” Zero commented, but Marth paid no attention, for he was already in the air beginning to strike. “Such annoyance.” Zero faced Marth for the first Brawl. The fight was fierce. Marth had stopped speaking in English so poor Zero was baffled. He thought he was baffled when he heard the amazing Marth speak English, he never expected his normal language to be so complicated. Soon the fight was near over. Marth stood high above Zero. Zero lifted his hand. “Well done… You pass, now can your team stand against mine?” Zero said, or asked. “I don’t trust that you believe the battle is over,” Marth said while knocking Zero farther than the eye could see away. The battle was over then. After multiple falls and get back ups on both sides, the fight fell down to Captain Falcon, Sonic, and Link to defeat Clara. It didn’t take much time, till Brawling heroes were declared winning heroes. “You may have won this time, and the agreement is accepted, but wait till we aren’t exhausted from earlier battles,” Zero said. “I won’t need to. I already have experienced it. I know you all used someone’s powers to revive your health. I’m not that blind,” Marth said. “Now we must find out more about this strange land, and maybe find some twiggs for a fire, it’s pretty cold around here, as if someone was breathing ice on my back,” Ike said.
22. The Vampire Council Chapter One Written by Axxerous Rain poured down outside of the small house that seemed to always be dark. It was dark for a reason. Inside the house, sitting in silence was a small being. That being was still growing, but it felt like the world was only trying to compress it, and make it smaller. The sound of raindrops on the window echoed throughout the entire house. Faint thunder crackled in the distance. Rain water flooded under the cracks of the door, soaking the floor, and weakening the wood panels. The being never stirred, it just sat, alone in the dark. It seemed storms comforted the being, but comfort to this being was different. Comfort was darkness. The storm provided that darkness. Though, the being still had comfort in company, but no company was present at the time. No company was ever present. No one cared for this being. No one ever had, and it seemed like no one ever would. Though, the beings heart was always open, incase someone decided to be different from everyone else. The being was different from everyone else. Not just it’s personality, but it wasn’t the same species either. It wasn’t human, nor was it an animal. The being was a vampire. Beasts who take on human form. Though this was not a blood-thirsty evil vampire, it was a pure-blooded, good-hearted vampire. It only seeked to help others, but no one ever allowed it. Or else no one would recognize it for it’s good deeds. Vampires were always excluded from parties and other events, even though no one knew they were vampires. They were just different, and different in a way no human cared for. Every vampire would grow up and be sorrow filled. Though this one being didn’t let the harsh attitudes of others corrupt it’s future, for that very rainy day, it sat in the darkness with a smile on it’s face. It had a plan. It knew how to bring vampires the company they needed without the harsh judgment, and the harsh attitudes. This being grew up with it’s idea. The idea of the Vampire Council. A council where great vampires could meet and converse about important things. So this being, Axxerous, and the few friends it had made, became closer, and Axxerous created the Vampire Council for those few people to help make greater. Though, even those few people seemed to ignore Axxerous, for the never attended meetings. But Axxerous would not give up. The Council had only begun. Chapter Two Written by Ghost in the SocialSystem on Gaia Axxerous stiffened. She had heard a sound many kilometers away approaching from the south. It made a weird noise, not like a horse, a car, or a motorcycle like the ones she had seen in magazines that people from the nearest village throw out. She has not been outside much for a week in fear that she'll miss a possible member visiting her "lair" mentioned in the flyer she set up for her council. So she "borrowed" magazines or newspapers whenever she could to keep up in the news. Today though, she wishes she had went out because whatever was approaching gave off a presence that she feels she should fear. Though, because of her anti-prejudice nature, she feels she should not fear what she does not know about like how people treated her. The noise stopped. A sweat drops. Ragged breathing escalates. Rats scurry back into their holes. It was the longest 10 seconds she has ever perceived. Finally, the figure slowly opened the door and took a step in. It looks to both sides, as if absorbing the life from the dark stale moist room. She could see the green tribal tattoo clearly as if it glowed. "You can come out now," it said. Axxerous came out as told, used to being commanded to avoid conflict. "How would you like it, a crucifix in the heart, holy water in the mouth, a fast death or a slow one?" But as Axxerous came closer finally visible in the moonlight and just stood there taking the presence of the new one in, but the being was surprised by her aura. He knew she was different and was only testing her, but her presence was full of... hope. "No pleading? No last stand? So you do not fear me, eh? Even though I am naturally your enemy?" The small vampire was perplexed, "Enemies?" Before she finished though, the new one came up to her a noiselessly pulled out a knife and nicked her finger which he had also unexpectantly pulled away from her. After said act, he did something out-of-the-norm, he began to lick the knife! "No, " She yelled, "Its poisonous to humans! Even vamps can't drink vampire blood!" "Who said I was human,... or a vampire. You see... I'm a Crusnik!" the Crusnik boasted. "I have come to help your cause. It appears I am the first," the still unnamed man implored. "No your not said!" replied a shadow leaning against the wall. "Who are you?" said the Crusnik. "You come uninvited and question me? How rude!" said the shadow. "Fine, my name is...", hesitated the man ", I have no name, but people call me Ghost." "I am Kora, the Vampire god!" "I am Axxerous and this is the Council of... Vampires, but I guess we'll allow you to join us." And that was the night that the council began to prosper... Chapter 3 Written by The Dragon-keeper 503 on Gaia Axxerous felt another Vampire approach. This one was.....different, not normal at all. It smelled alive.... and yet dead. There was blood in it's veins, but not it's blood. So, Axxerous waited, hiding in the shadows, to analyze the new approach. A tall, blue haired vampire approached. "I've come to see Axxerous," The vampire said. "I am Selos, representative to the Zanos clan. We are the living vampires." Selos stood proud, her hood still hiding her eyes. Axxerous came out of the shadows and asked, "You will join our cause?" "Yes," Selos replied, "and my clan will help when needed. We're having a bit of a problem with the Crusnik at home. They send their apologies about not being able to come. But seeing as I'm open minded about things, they sent me here." Selos bowed to Axxerous. "Then you are excepted, but I warn you, we have a Crusnik on our council. So show him respect." Axxerous warned. "I have no problems with Crusniks," Selos replied, "I find them fascinating. Its my sisters who have problems, well.......only if their female." "How so?" Axxerous asked. "My clan is female only. They have problems with sharing their mates, even if only they see the male that way, and not vice versa." Selos replied smirking. "Oh.......well, this one is male, but don't get any ideas." Axxerous warned. "Zanos don't court. The males come to us." Selos said coldly, as if offended. "No offence intended." Axxerous said. "Then none received," Selos replied, her voice softening, "who are the other members of the counsel?" "Come and see them for yourself." Axxerous replied. Axxerous walked inside, with Selos fallowing. "I am Kora, the Vampire God." Kora said, forming out of the shadows. "Selos of Zanos." Selos said, bowing. A man walked from the shadows, "I am called Ghost, and I'm a Crusnik." "Selos of Zanos." Selos repeated holding her hand, palm up, so Ghost could try her blood, as was custom where she came from. Ghost pulled his knife out and barely slit her finger. "I warn you, its strong." Selos said. Her body began to expel hormones into the air, she had no control. Ghost was effected by the hormones and licked her blood from the knife. The hormones and the blood made him want more. Selos quickly pulled her hand back and licked her own finger, causing the hormones to stop. Ghost suddenly stopped craving her blood. A faint smile showed around the edge of Selos's hood, "I warned you." Axxerous was perplexed, she couldn't figure out what was going on, so she dismissed it. The council had grown, and that was all that mattered...........

Death Road

Death Road Written by Axxerous Date Written: About a year ago All the people of Zango, Nexius know of Death Road. Every time someone goes down the dark, forbidden road, they never come out. That is why no one can tell us what happens. Three days after the last disappearance, someone new came to the town. His age he kept a secret, but by his size, he must have been a teen. He worked out, a lot, and never got weaker. He said his first name was forbidden to be told in this month of July, but he said his last name was Blackheart. With his arms so muscular and strong, we dare not bother him, in fear of those arms. It finally came to the end of July when we woke up on a day labeled August First. We gathered a group to go to his house and a group because he was strong. When we arrived, some non-understandable music was playing. We knocked on his door and stood back. The loud music stopped. The door opened. “My first name is Justin,” he said as he walked outside and headed towards the dark alley. He carried many supplies. As soon as a second had passed, a creaky voice from behind saying, “Oh please. He can’t do it.” It was a small girl. She walked up with no equipment in hand. Justin stopped, and turned around. He looked furious. “Who said that you could?” Justin said in an insulting way. “No one. I just know that you think you are better than us. Though you are not. You are going to try and do it casually and that’s going to mess you up,” she said, though her face never cried. Justin ignored her and continued to the alley. The alley is called Death Road because it used to be a road until no one came back from it. When Justin was finally beyond the mist, which threw him out of our view, we no longer heard his footsteps. The little girl rushed beyond the mist, and she fell silent also. Here on the planet Nexius, nights are dark and cold, normally silent. Most people got tired of our abandoned planet, so they went down to the Death Road and disappeared. The remaining Nexians, and us, strive to survive so we dare not go down Death Road. We wish to find a pathway to a more accompanied planet, or to retrieve back our lost Nexians. We have heard of a highly accompanied planet in the galaxy Zarthans away, and it’s named Earth. We try hard to create ways to get there. Suddenly, Justin’s voice was sounding. It was saying gratitude words. Then the little girl’s voice was sounding, “Your welcome!” As they came into view from behind the mist, Justin began to blabber. “It was awesome! The mist hides a portal to Earth! Little Cindy, her name, found the secret Earth portal on Earth leading us back! We need your help to get back all the Nexians we can!” Justin exclaimed. My group and I left our planet and used the portal to get to Earth. I now understand the stories of earthlings seeing odd life forms pop up out of nowhere. When we safely arrived on Earth, thousands, maybe millions of Nexians were grouped there. They had seen Justin and Cindy disappear. We took them back through the portal. Nexius was then again lit, noisy, and filled with Nexians. Life was restored finally. I will never forget Cindy. As soon as we got to the courthouse to have a party, she fell down and never woke up. She was burried right by Death Road. She was a legend to us, and maybe even a super hero, but we wont forget her. As life continued on Nexius, we went to Earth on vacation. We labeled the portal with special gel that earthlings can’t read. Justin wasn’t very optimistic after Cindy passed away. He decided to go to Earth and gurad the portal as his job. He never visited unless he accidentally fell in. But now we enjoy life on Nexius.
24. Megaman Starforce 1.5 Written by Axxerous Date written: Half a month ago Part 1 Geo was glad that Andromeda was defeated, and that he could live a normal life, or more normal life than it was, once again. He and Omega-Xis always went out on a wave road every once and a while. School was only getting easier ever since Geo made some friends. Sonia stopped by quite a bit now, so Geo and his friends got plenty of free tickets to her concerts. As life became more perfect, Geo began to feel as if something was going to happen, but he threw the thought away by thinking that the good life was just getting to him. But he couldn't stop wondering if it was all over yet or not. Omega-Xis knew something was up with Geo, but Geo always said, "It's nothing. Just thinking about dad." Suddenly, a loud continuous knocking sounded at the front door. It startled Geo's mother, but she stood up and rushed to the poor door. Geo yawned as he awoken in his room that morning. He sat still, waiting to hear who was at the door at such "early hours". Geo thought it was morning, but he did not know the time. He looked at his clock. "One Thirty Nine?!" Geo rushed to get into his normal clothes, and then he heard his mother say, "Geo dear, someone's here to see you!" Geo finished pulling on his left shoe as he rushed out into the living room. He saw a tall, 14 year old looking guy at his front door. "Geo. I need to talk to you. Meet me at Amaken at three," the guy said as he began to walk away. "Who was that? One of your friends? He seemed older than you," Geo's mother said. Geo didn't seem to hear his mothers words. Something about the guy reminded Geo of someone, but he couldn't picture who, or why. Geo just walked back into his room and layed down on his bed. To Be Continued...
25. Chapter Two Part 3 : Chaor’s Request Written by Axxerous Date Written: 7/17/2008 Maxxor studied Chaor’s face for a moment. “Well, why are you here Chaor? Why do you look so worried?” Maxxor asked. Maxxor walked over to Chaor’s chair, and stopped. Chaor’s expression disappeared. He sat emotionless for a moment. “I want the infection to end. I want to stop it. The thing is, I can’t do it alone. With the Danians powered up with their insects, my army isn’t enough. I don’t know what you two were just discussing, but I hope you can help. I know you don’t trust me Maxxor, but my people really need your help. Just this once, may our armies become allies? Just for this fight?” Chaor said. Maxxor’s frown quickly turned to a smirk. “Chaor, you just got lucky. I was hoping you would agree to an alliance, but I was afraid to ask. Anyway, this here Danian has given us a way to end the infection before fighting the Danians! He has provided us with some of the insects, and has explained to me how they work. I have sent them to Bodal, and he is going to find a cure, all the while creating a special venom that will turn the insects into our allies. Then the insects will infect the Danians, and make them destroy all of the insects, while making them retreat! Then we attack,” Maxxor said. Chaor’s face now held a surprised expression. Then he smiled. Hardly anyone had seen a heartfelt smile that held no evil appear on Chaor’s face. “That’s great! But, we will need more insects. Anyway, we should let our people know about the plan, so our army can be ready once our plan succeeds,” Chaor said. “Yes, Dasalin is going to retrieve more insects once this meeting is over. The queen knows nothing of his betrayal, and we will keep it a secret. Once Bodal gets the cure, I will send some with you, so you can be safe from attacks on your way home, and so you can cure some of your people. I will try to help him get a big batch made,” Maxxor said. Chaor stood up. He walked over to Maxxor, and stuck out his hand. “We are in this together, brother. May all the good souls of Perim unite to take down the evil of the Danians! And Maxxor, I heard Mudeenu denied your request for a temporary alliance, but maybe if we both ask, he will change his mind. Imagine. The Overworlders, the Underworlders, and the Mipedians all fighting together as one to defeat such a weak evil. It will be a battle to mark down in the young creatures history books! It will be a great day. And I do believe Mudeenu will accept. May we stand together and win this fight!” Chaor said, filled with a sense of great justice. Maxxor grabbed Chaor’s hand, and gave it one strong shake, and that sealed the alliance. They then began to walk towards the exit to go and seek Mudeenu. “Hey Maxxor, Chaor, we need that cure first right? I’ll go get some more creatures, and take them to Bodal, but you should wait for the cure, so you can present it to Mudeenu as a gift to prove that you truly want to help, and want his help. So, like the idea?” Dasalin said. Maxxor turned to see Dasalin’s excitement. “That is one great idea. Do you mind sneaking out to Bodal’s place to see what he has done yet? You are more safe than we are. Oh, and, thanks a lot for your help. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you,” Maxxor said. Dasalin’s eyes watered with pride. He was given a ‘thanks’ from Maxxor! Dasalin was speechless, for he often over-reacted. He nodded and headed on his way to Bodal’s office. When Dasalin arrived at the cluttered office, he found Bodal sitting in a chair hidden by a stack of paper. “Hey, Bodal, Maxxor needs the cure as soon as you can get it to him. He wants me to deliver it to him, since I can’t get infected on the way here and back. As soon as I get the cure to him, I’m on my way to get you more insects to transfer to our side,” Dasalin explained. Bodal looked at Dasalin with a confused expression. He then smiled. “So you are the brave Danian who took your chances and helped us out? I’m impressed. The cure is ready. I only have a couple more things to figure out before I can re-train these stubborn insects,” he said. Dasalin looked surprised for a moment. “I only helped because I knew her motivations were only of wrong, and I knew that someday, the infection would destroy the Danian tribe if I didn’t stop it’s existence. Anyway, man you work fast! The cure is already ready?! Only two more things?! Goodness, I admire you! I wish I was as greatly knowledged as you!” Dasalin said. Bodal handed a container to Dasalin. “One drop of this in any creatures mouth instantly cures any infected creature. Tried it on mahself. Oh, there are twenty more containers over there. Each one can cure up to five hundred creatures when full!” Bodal said. Dasalin took the container. “Only one drop?! You risked your life?! Twenty whole containers?! Five hundred each?! Wow!” Dasalin said. “Twenty one containers actually. You are holding one, remember? Now hurry and go! Get this thing done with!” Bodal said. Dasalin quickly grabbed all twenty containers. They barely fit inside of his bag. He ran out of the shop after waving at Bodal, and headed back to Maxxor’s palace. When he arrived, he ran up beside Maxxor and told him all about the cure. Maxxor was also amazed at how it worked, and how much was already made. Maxxor grasped one container, Chaor grabbed another. “Hey, you need to give one to Mudeenu remember?” Dasalin reminded. Maxxor grabbed another. “Now, let us go and recruit the Mipedians. And Chaor, if you ever need more cure, you know where to come,” Maxxor said. Chaor looked at Maxxor. “Thank you very much for sharing your army, and valuable cure with me and my people. Now, let’s get to Mudeenu! We don’t have much time. Give a cure container to one of your most trusted creatures, and let them cure as many creatures as they can. I will drop one off with my people on our way to Mudeenu. We need to keep a container each for ourselves incase we get infected. Five hundred cures will last us a while,” Chaor said. Maxxor nodded, and they began on their way. Maxxor handed a container to Intress on his way out.
