1. Two hundred entries. It feels like only yesterday when I first had access to my blog during one of BZP's anniversary weeks. I thought it was so cool to have it back then. I still think its cool even though I'm a Premier Member now. I've really enjoyed having a place to post my thoughts on movies, thoughts on video game and movie trailers, random questions, and post about some crazy things I've either seen myself or read online. Here's to another two hundred hopefully interesting entries!
2. Roodaka Master of Manipulation (BBC #69 Entry) Front - Back - Back without skirt/cape - Side - Side 2 - Side 3 - Above Catcher Claws - The "Rhotuka" Blaster - Both weapons Head - Torso - High heels She's cunning - She's cruel - She likes spiders - She steals masks Structure (minus 2 8-tooth gears that should be on the blue pin-axles) Shells - More shells - Gear System - Alternate Eyes Some - More - Pictures Gallery Roodaka is a master of manipulation. She is cunning, cruel, and deceptive. She prefers to use lies and tricks to defeat her foes, rather than brute strength. She is the mastermind behind many evil plots, and is always using others to carry out her plans, as she pulls the strings in the background. She craves power and wishes to become the ruler of Okoto. She has a fascination with spiders, and keeps a Skull Spider as a "pet". She carries a sharp-edged weapon called the Catcher Claws, as well as a powerful weapon she calls the "Rhotuka Blaster", which is as able to fire a strange substance that can mutate its victim. She has a strange shard she wears on her chest, which for some reason resembles a protodermis cage, which is strange, since the only known protodermis cage in the Okotoverse is where Zigben was defeated and encased... Functions: Roodaka features a gear function with friction, and her Catcher Claws work just like the original's. The Rhotuka Blaster fires studs just like any of the Protector weapons. Part count: 185 pieces. feet: 26 - legs: 28 - arms/hands: 28 head: 17 - torso: 13 - gear system: 31 Total (minus weapons): 143 pieces Catcher Claws: 21 - Rhotuka Blaster: 15 (not counting ammo) - Ammo: 6 In comparison, the original had 233 pieces and cost $20. Mask Maker Vs. Skull grinder has 171 pieces, and it costs $30. So I think I succeeded in making this a titan-sized set. Height: The model stands taller than any of the new 2015 Toa, and Tahu's head is just under the "Makuta Stone". The moment I read the hint at what the prizes would be for the 69th BBC Contest, I knew I had to enter. I wondered what I was going to build. I looked around and saw my 2015 Tahu. I built a cute little Jaller revamp with the golden mask. But it was too small, and you could have entry, so I started looking around at my parts. I found lots of black, silver, & gunmetal. And then the idea came to me. I started with the torso, because I knew I had to get that to look right. After that turned out well, I began work on the head, which also had to look right as well. The next struggle was the high-heels, which I wanted to preserve from the original model. Roodaka is actually quite stable with those shoes, and I think they turned out well. I'm not entirely satisfied with the lower back-armor, but the skirt-cape fixes that for me. I wanted to keep the original's Catcher Claws, and since they used the same gears as the new Toa's gear functions, that wasn't too hard. Lacking a Rhotuka launcher, I had to substitute one of the Protector stud launchers for it, and I think the result turned out looking pretty good. I wanted to make Roodaka sleek and slim, and the CCBS made that easy. I managed to use only a total of4 parts from the original Bionicle building system, so I think I succeeded at building this in the style of the new sets. The "alternate eyes" were actually going to be the finalized eyes, until I discovered that Angry Kitty from Emmet's Construct-o-Mech has given me 2 drills/horns I could use as eyes instead. I hope you liked my Roodaka revamp! Comments & (preferably constructive) criticism are welcome!
3. Here is my entry to the competition. Let me know what you think! http://imgur.com/a/GCwfQ Sorry bout the potato quality btw, my other camera is kaput. Good luck to everybody entering.
4. Hi all! I'm a fairly old member here on BZPower, but not one that actively makes posts I was just curious as to what people think of my entry to LEGO's 'Battle for the Golden Mask' competition! The wait is long to here who made it through, and some feedback would be amazing A link to pictures and other goodies here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/401572 Thank you in advance! Also, I'm more than happy to give my opinion on some of your mocs if that tickles your fancy
5. Well, hello there. My name is en_1gma, and this is my entry for the Battle for the Gold Mask. I made this thread for two reasons - to acquire feedback for my entry, and to not have my entry post be a page long. Anyways, my entry's name is Saviant. Gallery: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=550084 I'll start off with his story. Saviant is an enigmatic (pun intended) being that was created from (2015) Makuta's Mask of Ultimate Power. After being launched, the MOUP took a hard fall somewhere in Okoto, and that hard fall left a crack in the MOUP. The mask was very unstable, very powerful, and contained all elements - so, from the crack, it began to leak out raw, golden power. The raw power took weeks to form Saviant - a gigantic being, and was formed from those same elements. However, before the power completed Saviant, his head - his mind as well - was made. Saviant now had a mind of his own, and he left in search of land to conquer, but he left before the power could complete him. Having his mind composed of Shadow, he had a desire for destruction among the land. A few days before the Lord of Skull Spiders found the Mask of Ultimate Power, the mask - having a mind itself, similar to the Ignika - started to heal the crack in itself. The Toa must be ready to face Saviant; for he is a deadly force to be reckoned with. He has a strong resistance to each element, except for the Legendary Elements - Time, Life, and Creation. Saviant's weak spot is in his chest, as his chest is the most incomplete of all of his body. Alright, that's the end of his story. I feel like I had more to type, but oh well. On to his model! Left shoulder - Ice - Color(s): White I started here. I had to later make heavy upgrades to it because I had thought it was too small. Left forearm - Sonics - Color(s): Black, Gray I continued on Sonics with the intent of it looking like a stereo - after all, Sonics is sound. Left hand - Psionics - Color(s): Dark Blue, Gold I figured I'd make Psionics the hand because Psionics is basically psychokinesis, so Saviant can have psychic powers. Right shoulder - Stone - Colors(s): Brown I'm pretty proud of the Stone part. I did way better on it than I expected I would. Right forearm - Plasma - Colors(s): Orange, White I had to scrap what I had when I started on Plasma, as I thought it was too... bland. Right hand - Iron - Colors(s): Burnt Orange, Black I didn't really know what color would be Burnt Orange, so I just used Bright Light Orange. Left thigh - Water - Colors(s): Blue SO MANY MASKS! Left shin - Magnetism - Color(s): Black, Light Gray I tried to make it look like a big hunk of metal stuck to a magnet. I think I did pretty good. Left foot - The Green/Jungle - Colors(s): Green, Blue I didn't have many Dark Blue liftarms, so I mixed some black in there. I thought three colors would look weird, but it looks pretty good. Right thigh - Earth - Color(s): Black I added some pieces of Stronius to give Earth a rocky feel. Worked, huh? Right shin - Gravity - Color(s): Black, Purple I decided to compose Gravity completely out of liftarms only - to represent how Gravity is always straight. It is never unstable, only in space, but they're inside a giant robot, on an even more giant planet. I only have a few purple Bionicle pieces, so this was slightly a challenge. Right foot - Electricity/Lightning - Color(s): Blue, White Not much to say here, except that I'm happy with the result. Left torso side - Air - Color(s): Green or Dark Green I didn't have any Dark Green liftarms (besides from Nidhiki, but there are not many in him), so I decided to use Dark Bluish Gray liftarms, because Dark Bluish Gray is in almost every Air set. Look at Kongu. Now look at Kongu Mahri. Now, look at Lewa Phantoka. Right torso side - Fire - Color(s): Red Not much to say here as well. Head - Shadow - Color(s): Black, Dark Red Very happy with the end result! I added the black Hero Factory Brain to indicate rarity. Also, I kind of think he looks like Shadow the Hedgehog. Didn't made it like that, but it came out like it. Done! I don't want to be judged upon my rank. I don't want to lose or be overlooked because I'm not a premier member, or I just joined, or I don't have a signature. I want to be judged upon my build. I've known about BZP for a long time. I am a true fan, I have a big collection, I have a vast knowledge of the story, and I put as much effort as I could into this. I worked about 20 days straight on this. My determination is strong, or at least I think so. Honestly? I don't care if I win that golden mask or not. When I first started on this project, which I entitled Project Saviant, I had told myself that I will win. But, while I was working on it, I began to think that who cares if I don't win it? That would mean that some other big fan and amazing MOCist would get that awesome mask. And I would be happy for them. So, that was what really drove me to build this. I was also applauded by my family for my incredible attitude. I apologize that my hand is in the way of the Ice shoulder, I didn't realize I had my hand there when the picture was taken. An uncovered picture of the Ice shoulder is in the gallery. I also apologize that I didn't provide a solid color background, it was far too big to have one. I just would like to say thank you to my friends of Instagram for helping/supporting me through this long journey. Those people would be - hail_acheron, bionicle_mech, samdoesmocs, ihoffbro, toa_kratz, and bionicleretold I highly suggest you go follow them! Sorry if this defies the rules of staying on topic, but these people are true friends to me and they helped me through this. I thought I'd mention them in thanks for their support. FAQ: Q: It looks incomplete. Why is that? A: It looks incomplete not because it is incomplete, but because it was made to look incomplete. If you are wondering why it was made to look like that, please read the story. Q: Why did you have to hold it? A: Pretty self-explanatory. It was far too heavy to hold itself up. I also did have a time constraint, so I was not able to add functioning pistons to hold him up. Q: Did you create him yourself? A: Yes, of course I did. I would not be posting him if not. Q: Hey! The cloth on his head is not LEGO! A: Yes, it is. It comes with the Vezon & Fenrakk set. Q: Why are some parts detailed and some parts not? A: That is because Saviant is both physically and mentally unstable. For example, he is very indecisive about what he wants to do. Q: I noticed that the left side of Saviant are the colors of Wairuha, and the right side of Akamai. Did you do this purposely? A: Actually, I did not. I had only realized that I had done so when I was close to finishing. If you really, really know a lot about Bionicle, you'll also notice that the forearms and shins are the elements of their respective Bohrok-Kal. The feet apply for the torso. Q: You must of planned for the torso to have the colors of the Kaita masks. Tell me, did you? A: Again, I did not! I promise. I was very indecisive about the elements of the torso, and after I decided, I realized that. Thank you for actually reading this. I wish the best of luck to all the other participants. Feedback, both negative and positive, is highly appreciated! :]
6. It's been a while, BZPower, since I was a regular visitor. Even longer since I last even tried to enter a building contest around here. Didn't come out on top then, I doubt I will now, but for the sake of the grand return of the toyline we know and love, if not giving it my best shot anyways, I present to the general public of this subforum the entry that I've made. Among the many legends of the BIONICLE is an obscure tale of a golden-armored titan like no other. Standing tall, yet hunched over, this being known as "Novezemak" is alledged to be the hunter of sacred Golden Masks. It is not known why, as he has never been seen wearing them, nor has he ever been found gathering them in any physical collection. All that is known is that he appears to have the potential to manifest almost anywhere at any time, wherever a Golden Mask may be found, fight and conquer anyone who stands in his way, and then vanish with his golden prize. No one knows where he comes from, though legends speak that he may've once been a weak madman who was granted incredible power. All that is certain that whoever may wear a Golden Mask with pride, be they the bravest Toa or strongest guardian, they must always be on guard, and beware the threat of Novezemak. Full image gallery This is more based off the contest name/theme than anything else, having a character that actually looks like something related to golden Kanohi. Heh, maybe that will give me some leeway during judgement. Probably not the best MoC around, and I do certainly doubt my chances, but hey, you never know until you try. Just glad at the very least to have a chance to share this model with everyone and be able to celebrate in the return of BIONICLE. Feel free to critique though.
7. So... I figured I'd have my own go at this contest thing. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Daronus/Other-Artwork/bzpower_art_contest_entry.png I know, I can't make excessively long links shorter, but this'll have to do. I was going for a style that welcomes the New era of Bionicle, yet hearkens back to the original series. I think i may have made it a tad too complex, but I'll see what you think. Enjoy!
8. ^Link!^ This is my entry for the Ninjas in Space contest! Comments and Criticism are always appreciated! -Rez
9. Whadduuuuup...? I joined the strike up the band "contest" and I'm goin to put my entries right here. It's only one so far, but there'll probably be more. So far: 1. Morchanic 2. Borganisms So, like it? Constructive critism always welcome, of course. tnx
10. Alright, just in the nick of time I've finished my entry for the contest! I give you... Mighty Morphin'! Part 1Part 2 Just barely got it done, I hope you all enjoy and can help me make it all the way!
11. So, I decided to try my hand at this and whipped this in a few minutes. Link. C&C appreciated.

There are certain barriers that cannot be destroyed and passed. Such barriers are the boundaries. The artistic style of the game would be 3D. The story -Intro When Hapori Dume lost his last battle against the Toa, he was in outrage. He started planning and plotting for his final attempt at ultimate domination. He experimented with the various Rahi, native and not-native, of BZ-Koro; making them larger, stronger, and deadlier. If this plan failed, he decided that he would reduce all of BZ-Koro to rubble with a nova blast. Hapori Dume then unleashed his creations upon BZ-Koro, creating massive chaos and destruction. The six original Toa had perished in the first battle, overwhelmed by the sheer strength of Hapori Dume’s new weapons. But hope was not lost, the Great Spirit Hapori Tohu had found six unique Matoran in BZ-Koro. Matoran who would not back down from a fight, Matoran with free spirits who would never give into defeat. Hapori Tohu then turned these six Matoran into noble and wise Toa, who would fight until the end. -Chapter 1: The beginning A Toa finds him/herself inside of a burning building and escapes while rescuing the Matoran that occupied it; he/she then becomes the target for one of the monsters on the loose in the city. The monster then attacks the Toa, but kills the Matoran instead. The Toa, in outrage, then advances upon the monster, using his/her weapons to bring it down. Once the monster had been successfully killed, the Toa explores the area which he/she is in, finding various masks and weapons. He/she then reaches the destination that he/she had sought for: the now half-destroyed temple of Hapori Tohu. The Toa discovers that he/she is not alone, but 5 others also are present. Hapori Tohu, or at least an image of him, appears in the middle of the room and tells the Toa their mission: to defeat Hapori Dume and his monsters. The Toa then organize where each of them will go. Just as they are departing, a monster’s head, followed by its arms and legs, bursts through the wall, the Toa then engage it and subdue it. -Chapter 2: Sub city of Air You find yourself walking into a city dominated by cables and machinery, looking for a piece of the weapon required to win the battle. Many monsters are running about and you must subdue them. Once you’ve subdued the monsters, you find what you were looking for, a component to the weapon that you need. But the quest is not over yet, what looks like a simple table is actually the head of a giant worm monster! You fight hardly and eventually win the battle by stabbing in through its eyes and claim the piece. -Chapters 3-7 are basically the same as Chapter 2, but with different bosses and level layouts. -EpilogueAfter a long battle that was well fought, the Toa eventually triumphed. But every triumph comes at a cost. In order to use the weapon, one must sacrifice him/herself. Before Hapori Dume unleashed his nova blast, the Toa of Fire from your team plunges the weapon into his chest, where his body absorbs it. He then grapples with Hapori Dume and blows himself up from within, taking Hapori Dume with him. But such a sacrifice was not so horrible; the bomb which brought the end of Hapori Dume and the Toa of Fire contained a chemical which would spread across the city and restore it. -Miscellaneous things that don't go anywhere else The game would have a multiplayer mode. You can play free play levels. You could design your character. The masks and weapons consist of canon weapons and masks.
13. I couldn't think of a good title. _____________________________________________________________________________ I had just woken up; it seemed like a regular day. At least up until noon. Then I noticed the giant, hulking, beast in the distance. Like a regular person, I ran outside to see what was going on. I watched it rip my office building in half and hurl it across the city. It picked up a cell phone tower and hurled it in the worst direction; right at me. I dove to the ground and watched it fly overhead. It roared in triumph as it watched the gas station a few miles away from me exploded from the impact of the tower. In half an hour, tanks and soldiers were everywhere, but nothing we did could harm it. After we lost all of the tanks, an order for evacuation was issued for those who were still alive. I made my way out of the city intact, only to find myself signing up to go back in. Only this time, I’d have a mech suit. After a week of training, I finally got to see my suit, the Alpha Sierra. 2,500 tons of awesome were standing right in front of me. A smile spread across my face as I got into the cockpit. After my system checks were done, I was deployed outside of the city. I spotted the beast as it was destroying a good portion of houses. Fortunately, it stopped when I spotted it. Unfortunately, it spotted me. It roared in anger and charged towards me, barring in fangs with hate in its eyes. We locked arms and fought with each other for some time, every so often we would exchange blows, but then it decided to finish the fight when it ripped my right arm off and beat me with it. I staggered backward from the shock I was in. The beast kept jabbing me and biting me until I couldn’t take it anymore. I fell backwards in defeat and blacked out; with the final sound I heard being the monster’s roar of conquest. I woke up in a hospital bed; my right arm had been amputated, I could see that clearly. But what happened after I had been knocked out? I got up and looked out the window; the sight was not a pleasant one. The entire city had been destroyed, with the only remains being some rubble. I turned on the TV and checked the news channel, again, not a pleasant discovery. “All attempts by the military to subdue the beast have failed.” Was all I heard from the news feed. Not yet. I thought as I ran through the door and out of the building. One of the officers had been walking towards the hospital, in front of one of my friends on a gurney. “Where do you think you’re going?” He said. “The city is off limits, nobody’s allowed to go in.” “Over my dead body.” I replied bitterly as I made my way to where the giant robot suits were dumped once they had been damaged beyond repair. I got into the cockpit of the Alpha Sierra and tested the controls. It was still functioning. A grin spread across my face as I felt the giant metal suit stand up and stabilize itself. “Alright monster, game on.” I said as I sprinted towards the city. When I got back to the city, the monster was on the move. It had no interest in destroying something that was already destroyed. “Hey!” I yelled as it was approaching a small town. It looked at me quizzically as if it were thinking didn’t I already eat you? “Pick on someone your own size.” I finished. It obviously recognized that as a threat and charged towards me. This time I wouldn’t lose. I sidestepped as the beast charged past me, then I punched it in the back and watched it fall. As it was getting up, I stomped on its back and kicked it in the side. It reached back and threw me off of its back and onto my face; I rolled out of the way of one of its claws and punched it in the face. By now, blood was everywhere. I decided that it was time to finish this. I strode up to the monster, which was extremely weak now. I took its head in both my hands and I twisted in two different directions. There was a loud crack that could be heard for miles. I had snapped the beast’s neck. It fell to the ground, lifeless. For good measure, to make sure that it was dead, I grabbed a thick, long, sharp piece of metal and jabbed it into the back of the monster. I staggered backwards, exhausted, fell to the ground, and blacked out again. I woke up in a hospital bed again, only this time, I could rest for a while, knowing that the threat was gone. I turned on the TV and sat back, but what I heard was not pleasant; “Numerous cities across the world are saying that many more monsters have arrived and are wreaking havoc.” I got up and walked out the door. Time to suit up.
14. Hi guys, this is my contest entry, the Obsidian Flame. ^Click the pic!^ My brother helped me find the parts and place them in the right areas because he's better at building than me. I thought of the design and the name.
15. I finished this MOC literally five minutes before I found out about the contest, and knew that this woulde be the perfect time to showcase him. So now, without further ado, presenting: FUSION MACH 5 (Working name Mega Ultra Chicken.) Front Pic Back Pic Side Pic Size Comparision Pic (With bonus elbow) In case you're wondering about the story, I'll fill you in. So during the giant struggle for control of BZ Koro, five Monsters knew that alone, they would quickly be overwhelmed by the much larger Titans. The Monsters, (whom I have named Blade Strider, ComBat, Skull Dragon, Punch Dummy and Slash Dummy) decided to fuse together into one massive beast, which I call the Fusion Mach 5! This powerful beast has dental hygiene so amazing that it's teeth glow in the dark, it shoots eye lasers, and has the ability to launch energy balls from it's right wrist. On top of that, it has almost impenetrable armor, huge strength, and very sharp blades. Seriously, do not hug this thing. Or maybe do. Natrual Selection and all that. OOC Trivia: Yes, this thing IS actually made of five separate MOCs, each originally designed as standalone creations. I then got the fabulous idea to make something huge by slapping them all together. Throw in a couple of hours and a few extra pieces, and you get the largest, most time consuming thing I've ever made. All in all, it probably took about a week for me to make this entire thing. I also have to give credit to my mother for the Mach 5 part of the name. I just came up with the Fusion part. Originally, I didn't even HAVE a real name for it, so I just called it 'Mega Ultra Chicken.' (20 Brownie Points for whoever gets that reference.) Sorry about the grainy pictures, by the way. I lost my camera and so had to take pictures with my iPod, which is [sarcasm]always a lot of fun[/sarcasm]. I also had nowhere else to take these pictures but my bathroom, so just ignore the stuff in the background.
16. Hi guys, here's my entry for BBCC 65! Click! Please C&C! Edit: Oops, I'm a bit late here, but please try to keep embedded images in BBC to 640x640 pixels and 100 kB in file size! Image linked~ -Wind-
17. Here's my entry! That's my latest MOC trying to grasp what this bird is. (Click the picture to view the set of photos!) The title literally means waterbird, too. If you didn't know.
18. Seabed below Voya Nui – Two days before the arrival of the Toa Inika. Kyrehx sat on a rock a few bio from her home, the underwater city of Mahri Nui. She and a Po-Matoran friend were tasked with observing the surrounding waters, just in case any possible danger could approach the once-great city. “Tired yet?” asked the Po-Matoran with a slight smile as he walked through the sea floor. “Yeah, tired of you, old friend.” Kyrehx replied, smiling back. A mighty earthquake shook the seabed, the Ga-Matoran was knocked off the rock and was left staring at the heavens. The Po-Matoran was barely moved by the earthquake.“What's the matter Kyrehx? It was just a bioquake.” the Po-Matoran said while laughing. Kyrehx gave the Po-Matoran a look, and extended her hand to him.“Just help me up you silly Kohlii-head,” Kyrehx said. “And let's move it before another quake hits!” Just as the Po-Matoran helped his friend up to her feet, the pair heard a massive growl coming from the darkness of the ocean. A growl that both of the Matoran couldn't recognize. “What was that?” asked Kyrehx. “Uh, I'd like to believe that that bioquake was just the tip of the statue, sister,” the Po-Matoran muttered. “We better move quick and return to the city before--”Before the Matoran could finish that sentence, out of the darkness a Giant Squid had appeared and started attacking the pair with its tentacles.“A Giant Squid so close to the city? Sister, we have to warn the council!” the Po-Matoran yelled as he ducked under a tentacle. Before Kyrehx could start running, the Giant Squid whipped one of its tentacles at the Ga-Matoran's direction. Before the tentacle could hit her, the Po-Matoran jumped and took the hit, protecting his friend.Kyrehx walked to the fallen Matoran, as he helped him to his feet, she noticed his Kanohi mask was shattered to pieces. She gasped, and ducked to evade another tentacle.“Brother, your mask... It's shattered!” the Ga-Matoran said. “I know, I know,” the Po-Matoran replied. “Ugh. But I'm still active. Let's hurry back to the city.” The two Matoran started running through the seabed back to their city. On the way, the two Matoran managed to distract the Giant Squid by going through a field of Airweed and concealing themselves from the beast. They were close to the entrance of Mahri Nui, only having five bio to run. The Po-Matoran grabbed his chest in pain, he had spent too much time without a Kanohi mask."Are you okay?" asked the Ga-Matoran. The Po-Matoran nodded and ran to the entrance. As soon as Kyrehx stepped through the entrance, the Giant Squid attacked with its tentacles and caught the Po-Matoran's leg and started pulling the Matoran back to the ocean. Kyrehx quickly tried to free the Po-Matoran, but she was too weak.“Sister... I don't think I'll make it through.” the Po-Matoran said with his last strength.“Shut up, shut up! I won't let you go, brother!” Kyrehx replied while holding the Po-Matoran's hand. The Giant Squid started growling and pulled with more strength. Kyrehx's hold on the Matoran wouldn't last much longer.“It's okay,” the Po-Matoran muttered. “Just let me go, Kyrehx. I'll be okay. You know I don't go down that easily.”Kyrehx's hand started to lose its grip on her friend's hand. Seeing his upcoming doom, the Po-Matoran muttered his last words.“I'll see you soon, sister.” As soon as the Po-Matoran finished that sentence, his chest light stopped shining and the Giant Squid whipped Kyrehx's hand, dragging her friend back to the depths of the ocean. Kyrehx couldn't help but stare how the ocean had claimed his life-long friend without any explanation why. Kyrehx returned to the seabed where his friend met his demise. There, she found the shattered Kanohi Miru that he was wearing. While sobbing, she recovered all the shards of the Kanohi and left them inside a backpack. She stared to the depths, and wished that someday, the ocean would give her another chance to be with her friend.

The head design, I was going for Chro's Deadlock Locust. Hope he wins. The masks and rahkshi heads are all kills that he made. The trans-green eye crystal symbolizes that person as a king.
20. Shattered Past Deep within the mind of a Toa, is the fragmentation of his forgotten past. Time rewinds, visions move away and there’s the unknown part of the mind known as the Dreamscape. This Toa is called Flaredrick, and he is in the laboratory of a Great Being. He came here to find out what truly happened to him in his past. 100,000 years ago in the city of Centurion lived a good hard working citizen. Then again everyone is hard working, but this matoran was special. He was always honest in and outside of work. He was wise, humble and forgiving. That Matoran’s name is Flaredrick, a lava harvester in the Fire district. There he made his living cleaning the pools of lava coming from a nearby volcano. He made sure no volcanic rocks were in the lava, for if there were, it would clog the pipes leading to the furnaces. Dusk falls in and now he heads in to fill his shift. He goes into the locker room to get his tools, when a co-worker calls him. “Flaredrick, good to see you’re still working as a harvester.” “Good to see you too Bazlth.” Flaredrick replies. Bazlth is Flaredricks’ best friend. They both work in the same department, but off work there’re a dynamic duo in disk throwing. They have won two championships in the games, and are still going strong as the best team in Centurion. Though unlike Flaredrick Bazlth can be a bit over confidante at times. He wears the standard Metru class armor like everyone, and wears a red Kanohi Kakama. “You still wear that same old red Hau.” Bazlth says in a deep tone. “Yes I still am. I mean there’re no dents, scars, or impracticalities with it.” “Yeah, there’s nothing wrong with it, but at least clean it once in a while.” Flaredrick looks in the mirror of his locker. He laughs a bit at the sight of his dirty Hau. He then begins wiping some of the dirt off, only realizing that it just made his mask dirtier. “If you don’t wash that mask, it’s going to break. Why don’t you just go get a new one?” “I would but I don’t have enough widgets.” Flaredrick says sarcastically. “Well you better go to your post or else you’re going to get fired. See you at the games Flaredrick.” He says leaving the locker room with his bag. Just as he is about to close his locker, he looks at a picture that he kept. He holds it in his hand, looking at it as if he had never seen it. It shows him, Bazlth, and 2 Ga-Matoran known as Seria and Keri. In it, they stand behind a school which reveals beautiful water scenery. He smiles, puts it back in his locker and locks it. Its night fall and Iron Wolves are howling in night. Flaredrick works his way across the lava pool, when he sees a large piece of volcanic rock in the middle of the pool. He stares at it, wondering how he didn’t see it earlier. He pulls out an extension cord to scoop up the large rock. Though as he tries to scoop up the rock, it will not go into the net. After several tries to pick up the rock, the pool starts to rumble. Suddenly more large rocks come up to the surface, the rumbling becomes more violent. Then a giant lava eel comes rocketing up, sending molten lava to fly in air. The eel lets out a loud roar which can be heard throughout the entire city. The eel stood over 40 feet tall, with a slimy skin covered in volcanic rock. Flaredrick wasn’t able to get away in time, for when the eel erupted from the pool it sent scorching lava at him. The mask was left pieces as it hit the floor, his armor melting into his tissue. He screams in agonizing pain, as he falls to the floor. Soon the guard arrives, firing every piece of weaponry at the monster. Medics arrive at the scene to take the injured out of the area. The scene begins to blur, his eyes begin to close. The sound of medical machinery can be heard. Soon the turaga, Zalxias, can be heard speaking with the medics. “His injuries are too severe for us to fix. The armor has melted some of the tissue, and there is a slim chance for him to survive his ordeals.” “There is only one person who can fix a matoran this badly wounded, see to it that he gets there.” Zalxias commands the medics. “It shall be done sir.” The medics quickly mount him on a terrain vehicle, and send him to the beings way. As the turaga sees his transport leaves, he looks at the shattered pieces of what is left of his Kanohi in his hands.
21. It's been quite a while since I've posted anything on BZPower at all, so I feel the new BBCC is a perfect time to rejuvenate my post count. This here's Beelzebub. He's a pretty quick build made off of a WIP I made using Big Chill's wings from the Ben 10 line. I just wanted to utilize those pieces as torso armor. I might not be the first one to do it, but I've always loved how it flows into the body. The design and coloration is based off of the Calliphora vomitoria, better known as the blue bottle fly. An early name for him was the Sapphire Trumpeter, because I imagine the annoying buzzing sound flies make would either sound like a war trumpet or small jet engine when enlarged to human size. C&C are welcomed.
22. Dang. Couldn't make it to the contest.I swear if I had about one more day...Anyway, this is basically what I was going to enter into the Comics Contest #1.It is based in Metru-Nui, and has nothing to do with my main comic series, V.3.I worked too hard on this comic to let it go to waste, so, even though I missedthe deadline mid-way of wrapping some panels up, I decided to just finish it anyway.Because at the point it didn't seem to matter as much at the time, the speech bubbles probably won't look too fantastic. The comic may seem oddly paced in the beginning due to thetime frame I tried getting this comic done in.---The Comic---Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6Part 7Part 8Part 9Part 10Part 11---Epilogue--- This comic took me pretty much the entire month given to plan out a story, put together the sprites needed, plan ahead as to how the comics going to look in the end, edit lighting, edit this and that, custom sprite some things myself...And at the last minute, add the actual dialogue n stuff. The comic turned out to be 12 parts total,so I'll be posting them daily.Hope you guys enjoy it.-V-

25. As his mind faded from reality to darkness, and back again, the Matoran lost track of the world, though it hardly mattered to him anyways. When faced with slipping beyond the veil, one's mind tends to be overcome with drowsiness, as if you were to take a rest. However, there were things his mind couldn't let go of. They stuck as if permanently branded into his skull by a hot iron. These were the images of the events leading up to this, his final demise. -------------------------------------------- For the Matoran, it began as just any other day in the Archives. He was, as always, assigned to take inventory. However boring this might sound, it is vital to the safety of the workers in the Archives, as some of the Rahi and other creatures stored there are extremely dangerous, and if one were to break loose, the results would be disastrous. Whilst taking the inventory, he passed by a quite large crack in the wall. Though cracks like this would normally be easily dismissed, the Matoran felt that he should take a closer look, as one can never be too careful in the Archives. As he examined it, he was surprised to find light coming from the crack. As he was underground, this was quite interesting, and he tried prying it open further. To his surprise, the crack swung open, being in reality part of a door that had been covered in rock. He opened the door to reveal a rather small closet, of which the only contents were a mask, a slab, and a lightstone. Upon further inspection, he found the slab to have writing on it, the like of which he had never seen. Taking the objects he had found, he showed them to the other Matoran working in the Archives, but none of them knew anything about the objects, or that the closet had even existed. He took the slab all around Metru Nui, trying to find someone who could translate it, but not even the Scholars in Ko-Metru or the Teachers in Ga-Metru could manage the feat. Discouraged, the Matoran returned to his home in Onu-Metru. There, he found that the writing was similar to the writing on tablets that had recently been discovered in the Archives. Working tirelessly, he stayed up day and night, translating it into something understandable. This affected his work, making him so tired during the day that he would occasionally fall asleep on the job, and with no support from anyone else, he was stretched to the limit between duties. Still, day after day, week after week, he translated, never showing a single doubt (though he had many) that his work was important. After many run-ins with the Vahki for being late, and countless sleepless nights, he finally finished the project. He began reading what he had uncovered, his excitement growing with every word. He had inadvertently uncovered one of the most important things in Matoran history. He had found blueprints to the universe. -------------------------------------------- Of course, amazing as this was, having the all of the universes secrets in his possession, he had no plans to act on this. He simply planned to turn it over to the Archives, in the process becoming one of the most famous beings to have ever existed. He dreamt of seeing large crowds gathering, just to see him, Matoran saying ‘That’s him! That’s the one who discovered the amazing tablet! We should never have laughed at him and his diligence!” And so, the next morning, he rushed as fast as he could to the Archives, eager to begin his life of fame and fortune. However, as soon as he had showed it to the Chief Archivist, the Chief had just laughed, saying that he had obviously come upon some very well played hoax. The Matoran protested, but the Chief wouldn’t listen, and said to get back to work. That night, in his dwelling, the embittered Matoran decided to show that his work had not been in vain. He began to really study what the tablet was saying. Eventually, he came across instructions on how to make a power source that was large enough to run the universe. In fact, you could say that it was the way towards Absolute Power. He made up his mind. If he could make the power source successfully, he would prove once and for all that he was right. It took quite a few widgets to get everything he needed, so he was forced to live on very small amounts of money. It was worth it, though. Soon, he had all the ingredients he needed, even the Energized Protodermis, which was something of a difficulty to get. He had discovered that the lightstone and the mysterious mask he had found were actually extremely essential to the power source, though why they were the only specific ingredients found with the tablet was not clear. He put everything together in the Energized Protodermis containment units, as nothing else would be able to hold it. After a while of thoroughly dispersing everything else in, he was ready to put in the mask. Deciding to try it on before he dissolved it in the mixture, he took off his current mask and replaced it with this one. It felt strange, as some kind of energy unlike anything he had ever felt flowed through his body. He reached up to pull the mask off, but he lost his balance, dropping him off of the ladder he had been standing on, and into the murky vat. ----------------------------------------- Opening his eyes, he was surprised to find himself alive, though his body ached all over. However, noticing the more pressing matter of not being able to breathe, he tried to swim up and break the surface of the liquid. However, he ended of hitting his head on a wall of some sort. He tried swimming the opposite direction, but found another barrier, blocking him from precious air. Desperate, he rammed against it with a strength he did not know he had, exerting so much force that the vat simply disintegrated against the pressure. Drying himself off, he noticed that he had started glowing after his unpleasant dip in the vat. He felt raw energy coursing through his body, greatly enhancing his physical attributes, as he discovered. He decided that he would rest for the night, and that tomorrow he would prove that old fool who was the better Archivist around the Metru. ----------------------------- On his way to the Archives, he decided to take the long way, figuring that with all this power, not even those pesky Vahki could push him around. As he was walking down an alleyway, three thugs jumped out of nowhere.“Okay, buddy, we’re going to make this simple. You give us all of your money, and anything else you happen to be carrying, and we let you go real easy. You refuse, and we have a problem. Got it?”“But I don’t have any money left!” The Matoran protested. It was true. He had spent it all on his research.“Well, then it looks like we have a problem. Get ‘im, boys!” The Matoran panicked. Then he remembered his power. He could handle them easily, like taking berries from a cub Ash Bear. He closed his eyes and lashed out with a punch. He heard screaming and running. He opened his eyes, expecting to find all three of the thugs running like scared Rahi. Instead, only two were managing to get away. The other one was laying on the ground, with a fist-sized hole straight through his heartlight. He stared at the thug. He couldn’t have done this. He just couldn’t. But no matter how many times he tried to deny it in his mind, he knew he was the perpetrator of this terrible act. -------------------------------- After just standing there for a moment, he noticed that the sick feeling in the pit of the stomach wasn’t just coming from emotion. It was physical, and beginning to turn into a blinding pain. He stumbled around, leaning on a building for support, and suddenly realized what was happening. Power like this, so absolute in its infinite energy, had never been meant for the likes of any physical being. It was too powerful for his frail Matoran body to contain, and was slowly destroying him from the inside out. He thought it ironic that the power that had saved his life earlier was now going to take it from him. He fell over, his mind beginning to fade away… ---------------------------- The Matoran woke up laying on his bed in his dwelling. Looking around, he discerned that he was still alive. He got up, searching his dwelling for any signs of his experiments. Finding none, he dismissed the memories in his mind as just a bad dream. As he was preparing to go to the Archives for another day of work, he spotted a glimmer under his bed. Reaching under, he felt around until he felt something. He pulled it out, and saw something that sent chills up his spine. It was a small, closet shaped package, similar to the Archival closet he had stumbled upon in his dreams. He opened the package. Inside was the Lightstone, the Mask, and the Tablet.
