Kit MartelloDon't let her cute face and perky attitude mislead you — Kit is a skilled rabbit warrior, as adept at fighting unarmed as she is brandishing her giant hammer.Front - Side - Back - 3/4Battle-ready - Rabbit kick - Sitting pretty - Kicking back - Hammer detailFlickr gallery My entry for BBCC64. 93 pieces total. She was originally a MOC I made shortly after arriving at college this semester, as an experiment in making a female Hero Factory figure that is well-armored on all sides. Furno's helmet was used due to its unique look and cute, feminine expression when used in reverse. After the contest was announced I added the tail to reinforce the animal motifs of the helmet. I considered a squirrel tail (since bunny girls are unbelievably cliché), but I had a hard enough time creating a connection point that could support a tail this small.Feel free to share any thoughts, comments, or criticisms.

Hey all, I'm doing some concept art from my upcoming webcomic Gamebreak and figured I'd post it here. I won't be the one doing the final illustrations as I'm simply too busy, but I'm helping design the characters. (If you're interested in doing actual illustrations, PM me. No seriously, there's money involved.)The comic is about six friends who are stuck in this big video game called MUlate and there's crazy time travel and alternate time-line stuff blah blah blah. Whatever. Here's a character, Dario Roland. His online name is Aristocrack. He belongs in the Tank class, which is sort of a defender class, and has the power of strength. Even though his class doesn't actually matter for the story. He's a top tier player of his faction, which is RED FACTION. In real life, his parents are very quite wealthy, but there is some disconnect there. He's best friends with the "main" character Aden, and their relationship plays a huge part in the story we're slating. Yes I know his hammer is different in two different photos, we're still trying to decide on a design. The style is minimalistic, and typically lineless. Anybody who is familiar with Homestuck (or maybe even BZPstuck which btw is amazing) will be familiar with said style; at least for the "action" sequences in those comics. Anyways, just thought I'd put this up here, see what people thought about the character. Personally, I love his mask, and the fact that he wears a nice suit yet has those shoes instead of dress ones.

Alright, so last night I had an urge to use the Pohatu Protosteel boots for something creative, and I came up with this. I think it's probably the most advanced and creative weapon I've made so far, and uses several unique connection points as you can probably see. I haven't built a character yet for it, and I'm not sure when I'll get around to that.EDIT: Updated model based off ideas. Added more silver and armor to the handle, added a piece on the back end to balance it more, as well as some spikes up towards the top end to make it blend in with the other end more.Front: http://www.brickshel...ammer_front.jpgTop: http://www.brickshel...rhammer_top.jpgBottom: http://www.brickshel...mmer_bottom.jpgFront Closeup: http://www.brickshel...hammer_side.jpgBreakdown: http://www.brickshel...r_breakdown.jpg

I haven't done a melee weapon MOC in years, and it just so happens it's another hammer. I always wanted to make this using propeller turbine things.Gallery
