Since it's become apparent that I can't exactly do multiple topics on artwork I've decided to submit any new pieces of Bionicle (or other) art here. And to start it off I give you the introduction to the gallery: Adata, Matoran of Lightning Little Adata is a silver-tongued sweet-talker who runs Heva Nui's local entertainment club. Her business extends from onstage performances of incredible talent to keep patrons happy during their stay. She is very observant and has a firm belief in "striking like lighting" when the opportunity comes, making her a perceptive, clever, and resourceful little matoran who clearly doesn't mind bossing people twice her size around. Despite her status as a matoran, she is a businesswoman; she does her job like a professional. She serves as the Toa Heva's source of under-the-table information via Tsujii, who frequents her little club. She carries a specially-carved walking stick which she proudly struts round with as a showing of her rank among the population. She is usually seen with her Po-Matorn bodyguard Yori. A tall, beefy looking matoran whose lungs have been transformed by the ashes of the city's smelt mines, causing him to cough occassionally. He uses a respirator to help him breath in front of his visor-like mask which obscures his kanohi. Her snark knows no bounds, be it tactful or blatant, she is the kind of matoran you could never win an argument with. Faybos Posted February 3, 2014 Author Share Posted February 3, 2014 UPDATE: Stingray, the villain of Revolution is now available for viewing!Age: ??Nationalty: ??Occupation: Prime Minister of Canada, Leader of the SRS aka StingRay Syndicate Specialty: Negotiations, Combat, Control, any range of pistols and knives, Strategy and Tech.Background: A man with no past to go back to and only the future to take control of. The day Stingray mysteriously appeared during the 2012 elections marked one of the biggest disasters in the Great White North. Government Candidates disappeared one by one as the days past, eventually leaving him as the only man left standing in the running for Prime Minister. Despite people's suspicions no one could find any sort of hard evidence pointing to him as the bodies of said candidates scattered in various parts of the city of Toronto began to surface. Once he was inaugurated, he immediately sent his militia known as The Elite: heavily armoured mercenaries, hitmen and professional criminals using advanced weapons and gear to wipe out country's police force, starting deep within the heart of the city. He puts the entire country under curfew and all who resisted were publicly executed on live television. His appointed Militia became the law enforcement and it wasn't long before the city twisted into turmoil. He also introduced his own Cabinet known as the Right Hand. But why is he doing this? Not much is known about his true motives towards taking over the country; it isn't long before small branches of rebels begin to appear and make their moves on foiling whatever plan he has up his sleeve. However, he seems to be a step ahead of them in every sense of the term. Jeff's father, Jack, seems to have some sort of connection to the man but it isn't known why.Personality: Mild-mannered with a chilling tone in his voice, he appears to be a very civil man who is quite tranquil. However, within lies a sadistic individual who revels in the terror he inflicts upon the people in his nation. He could talk to anyone and have them believe almost with how he weaves his words; a master of manipulation. He has no tolerance for any sort of failure from his men, torturing and mutilating any who disobey to set an example as he feels death isn't severe enough for a punishment. Most of his emotions are anything but feeling, he is cold, calculating and arrogant in ensuring his wrath upon the world. He is a social man despite his cold demeanor, emanating a twisted sense of charm and etiquette among a crowd of people, be it during an event he is hosting or an execution. There are times where he prefers to be in silence with his own thoughts, feeling that most people are a waste of his time if they have nothing useful to him and choosing to speak to someone or anyone is viewed as a high honor to his militia. Weapon of choice: Modified Baretta with silencer and long magazine. It can fire in single or short bursts and is engraved with the Syndicate symbol. ---------------------- This is probably the best Stingray I've ever drawn. It's always interesting to see all the different versions for Helryx. You Revolution series looks pretty good aswell and I can see you've put quite a lot thought into it. It kind of reminds me of G.I.Joe where things got a bit more out of hand. I'm really looking forward to what you're going bring out of these. I remember that design of Helryx you created from long ago and I'm still marveled by the flow and power your work. Hopefully I can throw in a few good action scenes of my own in due time.Ancient (Canon) Helryx is something I've been meaning to take a crack at. Revolution is a series I've been working on for years. The characters still remain faithful but are developing as time passes and the further I delve into writing its story. Haha, that's the first I've heard of my stuff being anything like G.I.Joe, but I take it as a compliment, I was (and probably still am) a big fan of joes as a kid. The story will have it's crazy turns, make no mistake, it's anything but normal. XD A comic? We'll see. That depends with how things turn out. Glad to see I'm doing something right at the very least, hope you enjoy the future submissions (and I'll be keeping an eye out for your works too.). My good friend Shadow-Lockheed has been having a crummy week.Figured I'd cheer her p by creating a new rendition of her Bionicle fanfic protagonist, Pyroa. And what a challenge she was. Looking back past drawings of her I could never quite get the wings right. After much trial and error I finally managed to nail it. Hope you all feel the same way. Yes, I did sneak some HF elements in there, if anything it looks much better than the standard Nuva legs I always draw her with. I'm especially happy with how her pose came out, especially that coy smirk she has on her mask. As you can see I've been trying to make masks of several characters have some cosmetic differences so it would be easier to identify them. Pyroa belongs to Shadow-Lockheed, here's a link to her work. Hewkii and Macku were always #1 in my book. hope you all like them. ^^ This one's a little more rough but I still like how these two turned out. It's not every day I draw Hafu and Kotu. I always felt they could really play off eachother well.
