Turahk Misprint Instructions?

Recommended Posts

I was browsing through my collection of instruction manuals the other day, when I happened to come across a manual for 8592 Turahk. However, this manual had misspelt it as "Tuhrak". It is pictured below, with a regular manual (with correct spelling) for comparison:

The misspelt instructions are otherwise identical to the regular instructions. Nothing else is misprinted/misspelt or in the wrong place, and all of the copyrights are in the right place. The paper feels exactly the same as the regular instructions, so I don't think its a knockoff or anything. Did Lego send out a batch of misprinted instructions? Is this rare at all? Does anyone actually care about proper spelling of Bionicle set names anyways?? Let's hear your thoughts!

Edit:

Just realized I spelt Turahk incorrectly in the topic title *hangs head in shame*

This is very interesting, I've never seen LEGO mistakes in misspellings on instructions, how is the box name for the misspelt one spelt?

I actually purchased this set and instructions without the canister, so I can't say.

Ah ok fair enough

Bionicle: ANP aims to create narrated versions of all the Bionicle books, with voice actors for each character, and music taken from various media to enhance the story. Check here if you're interested in voicing a character, and here for the chapters that've already been released!

Thanks!

Interesting find. It almost makes me want to find the instruction booklet for my Turahk set to see if it has the same typo.

If you can find it, let me know! I'm interested to see if there are any more like this out there.
