Sir Keksalot
As we say on the Evolve forum, this thread has been Laz'd. Do enough people play Evolve to warrant a forum? Yes; especially since it went F2P and its playerbase reached an all-time high on PC. Quote Rule #1: Always listen to Kek. Rule #2: If you break rule #1, kindly don't. Taka Nuvia
When G2 came around my first thought was "Already?"; I hadn't considered a reboot to happen that early after the end of the original.I still think a Gen3 is possible, likely even. But rather after at least 10 years or something, maybe even more, when most of the original fanbase looks back on it with fond memories, and kids can fully enjoy it too. As in, more potential customers. Maybe allowing for parents and children to explore the mystical island of Whatever-o-Nui-Koto together. Would I like to see it back? Absolutely. Apart from the nostalgia factor (I did grow up with it, took up drawing because of it, and it continues to inspire me to this day), the underlying theme of heroic biomechanicals is something that you don't see often, and something that I personally enjoy a lot. ^^ 3 Quote My art collection topic - updated! Sampa
I would LOVE to see it back. But I see two things that need to happen, and this is not intended as a stab at Lego (love you guys). But I think that a complete change in the team, mostly, would help get some new creative ideas for a story that is unique, not a rehashed telling of old content. also, as others had said earlier, look back at what made Gen 1 great, and that was the amount of media that the gen 1 team used to support their product and its story.
