Hi, guys! You guys into dream-casting celebrities (meaning you wishing that a celebrity could play a certain character for your enjoyment)? Well, this topic would make you happy. I know that some Bionicle characters are played by TV show voice actors in their direct-to-video movies and The Journey to One show from Netflix, but we will be talking about having Bionicle characters being played by famous celebrity movie actors. These actors include ones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and The Lego Movie Cinematic Universe. Ninjago's TV show has TV actors, but the new Lego movie, coming this September, will have different actors, who are, of course, famous celebrity movie actors. So, what famous celebrity movie actor would you like to play what character (could be your favorite character)? 3. Lewa - Jackie Chan, Johnny Depp, or David Tennant

I used to want Alan Rickman as Kopaka, but that possibility's sadly gone now... Idris Elba would be pretty amazing for him too though.

Seconding David Tennant as Lewa 300%. This might be weird but I also want him to keep the Scottish accent. Lines like " Reidak, mighty defeater of doors" and "I'd almost ever-forgotten how much fun you aren't" would just be hilarious in his voice.

I like Australian Pohatu, so Hugh Jackman or Chris Hemsworth (Though I could not be mad if they cast Dwayne Johnson, for obvious reasons. And he pretty much *is* Pohatu personality-wise.)

If you're casting Patrick Stewart as Vakama then Sir Ian McKellen has got to be Turaga Matau.

Lupita Nyong'o or Cate Blanchett as Gali.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Teridax would probably work (Halfway between Khan and Smaug is probably about right)

Helen Mirren as Helryx

Felicity Jones as Hahli.

Russell Brand as Vezon (He's even got the demented Skakdi grin.)

I don't know about Dwayne Johnson. He seems to be a big guy for Pohatu, and Onua is recently depicted as bigger than Pohatu. But, alright. Dwayne seems to be a mix of cheerful and serious (G1 and G2 Pohatu's personalities) in his roles, anyway.

If Pohatu would be played by Chris Hemsworth, then Onua should be played by Mark Ruffalo (in terms of the Avengers movies. Lol).

If you put Sir Ian McKellen as Turaga Matau, then Toa Matau should be played by Michael Fassbender somehow (in terms of X-Men movies. Lol).

Anyway, I just thought of something: perhaps Lee Pace could play Nektann the Skakdi warlord.:)

I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!:)

I could actually see Chris Pratt playing Pohatu. That would be flippin' awesome. Also Ryan Reynolds as Vezon. And Stephen Fry as Dume. And Mark Ruffalo as Nuparu. And Peter Dinklage as Ahkmou.

And I did not know I wanted David Tennant to play Lewa until now. Now I very much want it. Badly.

I'll post more when I think of some.

Hmm, I think I might have a few ideas.

Kopaka- Dee Bradley Baker or James Arnold Taylor

Tahu- Manu Bennett

Gali- Felicity Jones

Lewa- David Tennant (He IS Lewa, lets be honest here)

Onua- David Ramsey (Diggle from Arrow)

Pohatu- Matt Lanter

Turaga Nokama- Helen Mirren

Toa Nuju- Peter Capaldi

Here are some I thought up last night.  Some of them aren't movie celebrities, but they still could work in my mind.

  • Dane Cook as Tahu.  Dane has such a distinctive voice that would totally work with a main hero-type character like Tahu.  Just the right amount of brashness and seriousness, with room for humor.
  • Tim Hawkins as Lewa.  Air characters, in my imagination, have high, slightly whiny voices, which Tim also has.  The fact that he's a comedian would lend itself well to Lewa's quippy personality.
  • Nathan Fillion as Pohatu.  Nathan has had a history of playing gruff characters (his roles in Firefly and the HALO games come to mind), and Pohatu is a gruff character.  Nathan also tends to drop quips, like Pohatu.
  • Will Arnett as Onua.  Will's deep, gravelly Batman voice would be perfect for Onua.
  • Donnie Yen as Kopaka.  In the films I've seen feature Donnie, I don't think I've ever heard him raise his voice when he feels angry.  In my mind, Kopaka never raises his voice either, especially when he feels angry, making him really scary.  Plus, they're both kick-butt bosses.
  • Evangeline Lilly as Gali.  Evangeline's accent from her role in The Hobbit would be a great voice for Gali.  Accents are cool.
  • Lee Tockar as Makuta.  Wouldn't change this one for the world.
  • Morgan Freeman as Turaga Vakama.  This one isn't just to shoehorn Morgan Freeman in here; I legitimately think it'd work.  Morgan has a history of playing and voicing wise, mentor-type characters, so I feel like him voicing Vakama would be a great fit.
  • Samuel L. Jackson as Ahkmou/Sidorak.  With Ahkmou, I feel like Samuel's voice would lend itself well.  He does have a deep, foreboding voice, perfect for a knowledgeable, conniving baddie like Ahkmou.  Or Sidorak.  I could see that.  It may not be the best fit, though.

More will be added as I think of them.

How about Morgan Freeman as one of the Turaga (Maybe Turaga Whenua?)?

Anyone have an idea where to place Samuel L. Jackson? I think he would make a good certain Bionicle character, but I am having a hard time picking a character (Maybe Toa Whenua?).

I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!:)

Morgan Freeman should voice Turaga Vakama.  Since Vakama is basically the Vitruvius of the BIONICLE universe... see the connection I'm trying to make here?

Samuel L. Jackson would definitely make a good BIONICLE voice, though I think he's more suited to be a baddie.  How about Ahkmou, or Sidorak?  The latter might take some getting used to, but I think it could work.

All I want is a film where Nicholas Cage voices Lessovik. I don't care if it's only 30 seconds long, he was made to play that role.

I've usually heard the characters' voices in my head over the years as various voice actor's I've heard in shows and games, so I'm not sure how many of them would qualify as "famous celebrities". That being said, of the actually famous voices:

I maintain that Jeremy Irons would be a perfect Zaktan, Chris Hemsworth as Toa Hewkii, Christopher Lee (RIP) as The Shadowed One, Ralph Fiennes as Pridak, and Gary Oldman as Lesovikk. James Earl Jones or Peter Cullen would work for Artakha, I think.

this really makes me want to see a fully funded bionicle movie lol i mean a full story in one movie and character development that we dont see in bionicle enough. i like all these actor choices, escpecially michael fastbender as kopaka

for my choice though i want to see Gali as Gal Gadot (wonder women) Tahu as Tom Hardy or Jason Stathom, Lewa played by Brad Pitt (that really all over the place and sarcastic tone from fight club lol when he gets beat up by the owner of the bar in the basement) Pohatu would have Michael Fastbender, and Kopaka would have Karl Urban. Finally Onua, someone like Vin Diesel or Ricky Rourke

cant forget about Makuta. I think someone like Bryan Cranston, or even Andy Serkis (though he could easily play Lewa as well)

for giggles it would be great to see nicolas cage play lewa, ''we will wind fly"

Dwane Johnson would play Onua. Obviously.
