Whever terror the thing you were building has it's been lost with the details you lose when making something out of lego. With no knowledge of what you're trying to build I would say that lego red and blue are too bright to work on a creepy model. Still it does have tentacles and claws which are menacing, I'll give it that. But that creature seems to be the type that needs to be built on a much bigger scale to be effective.
