Smitty Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 (edited) I saw Toa Genris's MOC of Movie Optimus and thought I'd see if I could pull off a FH Optimus.After I did that I thought what the ###### I'll give Megatron a shot...I went with the Rhino head because when I got Stormer 3.0 my wife said his head looked like Megatron, and I can kind of see it... What I would like to see would be a whole new model of these characters while using the bone parts. Nice idea.I went with Breeze head gear because of the "ears" Evo was a consideration too but in the end ears won over the mouth thing...For hero versions of Optimus and Megatron, they are very good.Good that is just what I was going for. Your first Prime is the best of the two, Breez's headgear is perfect for him, and combined with the coloration, it really sells it for me. Evo's would be okay, but I think his is too wide and the "ears" just aren't pointy enough.Now, your second Megatron is absolutely awesome. The red hero head really stands out against the white Rhino helmet and the larger cannon is great. To be honest, I hadn't even seen the cannon on the first one. And the purple hero core is a good stand-in for a decepticon symbol.Overall, a completely amazing pair. The weapon improvements on Megatron is fantastic, and it looks like you're really getting a feel for what you want. Because that's what you have on him. Balance the purple with some more silver, grey, or gunmetal and I think you may have a winner.
