Hapori Tohu Posted April 26, 2020 Share Posted April 26, 2020 Earlier today The LEGO Group announced a partnership with Universal Music Group, one of the three main record labels that's still around these days. Per the press release, "The partnership is based around the development of a new suite of LEGO products launching in 2021, created to encourage and inspire the next generation of musicians, creatives and fans." It's hard to say exactly what this means, if it's going to be sets based on some of the many, many artists that UMG represents, more generic music-inspired sets, or something new and interactive like the upcoming Super Mario sets. Whatever the case, it certainly seems like something worth keeping an eye on. Though we were just talking about Skull Spiders kidnapping Linkin Park, so that could be a thing for future children to enjoy...
