Hapori Tohu
Earlier today, The LEGO Group revealed 75308 R2-D2, a new adult-oriented set joining droid builds like BB-8 and the Probe Droid. The foot-high set releases May 1st, contains 2314 pieces, and will retail for $200 in the US. The model captures the look of the iconic robot from the film and is packed with features like an extendable third leg, rotating dome, hidden lightsaber, and more! The model is also a part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Lucasfilm, the production company founded in 1971 that brought us the likes of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Labyrinth, and even The Land Before Time. I'm excited to get my hands on the set and looking forward to see how the functions are designed and incorporated. Let us know if you're planning on picking it up in the Talkback!View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
Bambi
Oooh, I like this. $200 is a bit much for me, but if I can ever find it at a reduced price I'll probably pick it up. Quote [my blog] [custom emotes]
