Lego Releases Annual Sales Report

Recommended Posts

It's that time again, and The Lego Group has released their annual financial report for the first half of 2012, and the stats are quite impressive. Their share in the global toy market has increased to 8%, which is roughly 1% more than the first half of last year. Growth has increased worldwide with the largest area in Asia and the smallest in Europe. Oh, and apparently Ninjago sold better than expected. You can read the full report here.View the full article

Makes me wonder if they're going to maybe squeeze a bit more of Ninjago in before it ends. Probably not, but one can hope.Good to see the successfulness. Especially of Friends. Even though I'm not a fan of it (those colors hurt my eyes), it's cool to see succsessful ideas.Kalhiki

You're Doomed, Rayman!

Boy! I just love it when my computer doesn't tell me when my battery is getting low!

(that's sarcasm, by the way)

Source: Mentos Fruit. Lol, never thought I'd see that one day. :PThese numbers are highly impressive. I hope this successful trend will continue long enough! I'm particularly glad about Ninjago's success which, while not necessarily meaning Ninjago will be carried on for longer than originally planned, will surely encourage LEGO to try extensive story themes more often. :)~Mentos Fruit
