Series 6 and 7 Minifigs Revealed

Recommended Posts

Incidentally, these images come from the same sources as the non-watermarked Hero Factory and Ninjago 2012 pics. And both of these series are due for release in 2012 (even though Series 6 will probably show up early to catch Christmas shoppers). Why, then, can those sets not be discussed, but these sets get a news article? It seems like an inexplicable double-standard. It'd be nice to get a proper news article explaining the 2012 spoiler discussion policy. What decides if a 2012 set can or can't be discussed? Anyway, love these guys, just like the previous five series. Hope to pick up several.

screenshot20111018at954.png Is that a space marine from starcraft? I swear that looks just like a spec marine.

Technically not, because Lego would need permission for that, but it is obviously influenced by Starcraft/Warhammer 30k. Overall these minifigs look pretty sweet. I especially like the hippie, the nerd, and the pajama dude. -don't touch my pocket protector

Three great comedies at one low, low price....NOTHING!

Three late-middle age matoran think of something they want to do before they kick the bucket.

was i the only one who was reminded of Rocka by the Series 7 aztec warrior?

I was as well. For some reason, it intensely bothers me that the Grey has a ray gun. Don't they usually use psychic powers and ...probes?The LGMs have ray guns, not the Greys! Sheesh, LEGO, get your alien cliches straight!

Well... looks like 2012 is going to be another year spent feeling the bags. But it'll be worth it. (Neptune is my favorite. Also, is it just me, or is it ironic that a few days after Dan Wheldion died, that one of the figs revealed is a racecar driver?)

Why are orange and black such a good color Combination ? Purple is pretty, and so is blue. Pink hurts your eyes, green is quite mellowing, black is very threatning, red is cool, orange is SO awesome, yellow's hard to read... But you can't see white at all! Oh, wait. I forgot brown.

Here's my thoughts: If a person tells the truth and says, " I always lie," Is he lying? Or is he telling the truth? And what has a mouth, but no head, and a body, but no torso? Do caterpillars like to tend to supporting colum of stone's every need? Or is that name misleading by nature? Speaking of nature, why are the children of animals called offspring? don't many young beasts come alive in spring, and thus, should be called onspring? Heeeeeeyy..... I got the first post on a page for the first time. Who knows; it may happen again. What the... It did happen again... and again...

YEAH! I'M ENCOUNTERING PROTODERMIS!

Oh, until now, I never noticed that the Statue of Liberty minifigure in Series 6 has been changed so that she is sand green. The last image I saw of it was regular green. That's so cool!

All the images I've seen have been sand green, even though some people for whatever reason thought some of the leaked images looked regular green.

Really? Do you still have that leaked image anywhere, because I'd like to see it. Anyways, I think I'll have to get these, as in all of them.

Series 7 definitely beats Series 6 in my book. My favorites in series 7 are the Knight,The Space Warrior, and, of course, the computer guy.

If you think that Justin Bieber sounds like an eight-year old girl hyped up on sugar, copy and paste this into your signature.

Copy and paste this in your signature if you think Greg Farshtey should reveal The Shadowed One's real name.

99.9% of BIONICLE fans forgot about Podu. If you happen to be the 0.1% that still remember him, copy and paste this into your sig.

Guess what? My profile pic has nothing to do with My Little Pony. Get used to it. Copy and paste into your signature if your are like me.(ToaTonyia) Nvm , since I'm a brony now Dashie for president

Copy and paste this sig if you cried a little inside during the cutscenes of Halo: Reach

If they called the native american a "tribal hunter," what are they gonna call the hippie? disestablishmentarian? color-loving flower child? Tie-dye wearing man with long hair? Man intoxicated with illegal substances?

more impotantly, what's his quote, "I'm a lover not a hater." or "I like flowers."?

"Hippie" isn't all that politically incorrect, to my knowledge. I mean, if you call someone nowadays a hippie it's disrespectful because you're basically calling them a relic of a bygone era. But I don't think referring to a person in that historical context as a hippie would be disrespectful.

Given his John Lennon-style glasses, I'd laugh if his quote were "Just Imagine" (playing off of TLG's promotional tagline in the early 2000s but also off of John Lennon's "Imagine"). I really love the quotes and bios on the Minifigures website, especially the ones that reference obscure details from past and current LEGO themes. Incidentally, they're written by Daniel Lipkowitz, the author of "The LEGO Book" and designer of many BIONICLE alternate models from LEGO Magazines such as the Manutri, Protodax, and Mata Nui Cow. On BZPower he is known as Swiftone, although he hasn't been active for over a year.

Most of these are pretty awesome. I can pass on a few like the Flamenco Dancer and the Hippie (kind of dislike hippies in general), but that Scotsman is fantastic. Good to see a new costumed character in the Bunny. As it happens, Series 5 has essentially disappeared in my area, except TRU where they're $3.50... good thing I got everything I wanted early on, 'cept I want the detective now..

7. Putting all five Piraka in one tank seems like a dangerous idea. What if they start killing each other?

7) Who cares? They're creeps anyway.
