  1. IC: (J'con, Icha) Icha awoke to the biting of cold, sharp air on his face, and the throbbing feeling one gets when all the blood rushes to their head. Nearly jumping out of his skin, the Sanctum Guard commander realized why these feelings had occurred: he, and two Matoran privates to each side, were suspended upside-down by chain, hundreds of feet above an icy death too foggy to see. He tried to move his arms, but they, too, were chained beyond escape. He was stripped of his weapons and mask, effectively helpless to free himself, and the Matoran at his side were in similar condition. Fighting panic, Icha twisted to look at what he was suspended from, and in horror realizing he and his compatriots were hanging from the rock outcroppings of an abandoned watch-tower, several feet from safe land. The watch-tower itself was incredibly hard to reach- impregnable, some would say -due to its separation from the normal ground of the Village. One's only hope- if it can accurately be called "hope" -of reaching the tower was to cross an old rope bridge, and subsequently fight an uphill battle against snow and ice to reach the tower and rescue the guards. Stowed away inside the tower was J'con Donrie, servant of Makuta and oddly overprepared megalomaniac. He had two barrels of Stralix powder, twenty photothermic grenades, a crossbow and twenty bolts, and a Volo Lutu launcher. Surely, however, the saviors of Ko-Koro's bravest could overcome this? After all, a Sanctum Guard private was now running through the streets of the village shouting of the terrors in the abandoned watch-tower, and anyone with any sense of honor was likely taking up arms immediately. J'con was ready for them. OOC: Anyone and everyone invited! Be prepared to get creative, though; I'm not going easy on any of y'all.
  2. IC: (Komisk) The Matoran clipped his crossbow back to his belt. The Vortixx was correct- nothing could be done about Torvoth. It was time to proceed. "We've thpent enough time here," he said, loud enough for everyone to hear, "once any latht medical problemth are dealt with, we need to keep moving." He once again picked up the massively oversized Rahkshi staff, Onu-Matoran strength and years of military training allowing him to carry it like a Kohlii stick. It would come in handy dealing with tall opponents. "You," he said to Stralix, "I need to thpeak with you."
  3. OOC: Flynn, that is very much not okay. Antidermis is a staff-controlled plot device, not a deus ex machina to bail your character out of dumb decisions. IC: (Sucogu) "Yes, we shall," the Toa agreed. With a whistle, his Gukko had returned to the location, prepared to take the heroes, their honor restored, back to Sucogu's estate. "Once this criminal is detained, I welcome you to my home for a drink." The Toa turned to see Flynn vomitting, likely due to his nigh-childlike level of overexertion. His idiocy fell on deaf ears however- Tyrus had defeated him, and he was going to jail.
  4. IC: (Komisk) The Onu-Matoran, short and stout, lisp on his tongue, one eye missing, stood tall above Torvoth and looked down upon him intimidatingly. "No. You are by far the most idiotic moron I have ever had to lead- you almost got us killed by Rahkshi," he spat at the Vortixx, angered to such a degree that it covered his lisp for a moment , "To think one of uth would bother to carry you is pure imagination. If we can't repair you, we abandon you, or put you down." He placed his crossbow to the Vortixx's head to show how serious he was.
  5. IC: (Sucogu) "Stand your ground, soldier. Things are about to get rough." Slipping the mask into his coat, he scooped the unconscious Ko-Matoran gingerly into his arms and retreated to the upper deck. As he arrived topside of the sinking boat, he mentally reached out, focused an extreme of amount of concentration on the task at hand, and shoved the boat onto the shore. Below deck, water stopped flowing in, and above deck, the mast doubled over from the sheer pressure. Tyrus, heeding Sucogu's warning, was likely ready for this and did not let Flynn glean any advantage from it.
  6. IC: (Sucogu) As soon as Flynn's mask hit the ground, a telekinetic hand reached out and grabbed it, flinging it into Sucogu's hand. He briefly considered smashing it to pieces, but sided against it. It would make a great wall decoration in commemoration of the defeat of the most obnoxious moron he'd ever met.
  7. IC: (Komisk) "Everyone, hold back," he called to his group, even as he effortlessly picked up a Rahkshi staff twice his size. "Thomething is quite wrong, I fear. Thee, those Rahkthi were wild, animal-like, crazier than a Ko-Koroan in a mathk forge. And yet," he motioned to the corpses with the staff, "not only did they dithplay a frightening level of comradery...they retreated." Some of the group didn't seem to understand why this was unusual. "Allow me to clarify. Rahkshi do not retreat. Tho why the heIl did they run from uth?" He made his way over to Torvoth, who was terribly injured and likely in much pain. "Doeth anyone have medical training?" he said loudly. Then, quieter, just to Torvoth, "if we can't help you, we can't afford to lose another member of the group by assisting you back to the village, we'll have to leave you here or put you out of your mithery. Your choice."
  8. As one of the people who organized a quest group, I can back Tyler up on this- he was all inclusive and specifically left no one out, all this purely out of generosity.
  9. I'm not quite sure you know what you're talking about, Flynn. Toa of plasma can't change anything this wish into plasma, at least not in this game. I think we've already talked about that?
  10. My only tip would be to take it easy on the Kualsi. Teleporting behind/through things is difficult, especially in the heat of combat. Otherwise you haven't broken any rules as fsr as I can see.
  11. IC: (Sucogu) Wow. A lot of what had just happened seemed illogical and improbable to physics. Strange. Sucogu narrowed his eyes at the injured Tyrus, willing him to continue fighting. Therr was no pride in surrender, especially when the fate of justice depended on it.
  12. IC: (Sucogu) Sucogu backed to the side of the boat, weapon sheathed and arms crossed. On his honor, he would not interfere with the combatants. Should Flynn attempt any dishonorable tactics however... Well at that point it came down to duty. And who was he to disregard the most prominent of the three virtues?
  13. IC: (Iiasmir) "This just isn't my type of party..." The Skakdi turned from his seat in the stands to leave the Reveler's little arena. In moments he had left the area. A thousand thoughts hit him at once. Le-Koro was never known for its calm nature, but today it seemed especially bustling. The hulkig mass of metal and fury felt quite out of place, and in all honesty felt less like the predator and more like the prey. After all, this wasn' Ta-Koro, where he could simply retreat into the comfortablr, welcoming shadows when confronted. He was on his own, and that kind of set him off-balance. Now, walking through the streets of Le-Koro, one might never find a situation as coincidental as this- a store robbery, and a 'hero' to stop it. The robber seemed genuinely angry, and the hero seemed as thougg he was unsure of what was going on. Thoughts like these made him curious as to how the situation would play out, and so he stuck around, waiting outside as the events in the store occurred.
  14. IC: (Sucogu) The Toa of Lightning whistled sharply, and the bird dove, nearly throwing its riders fron its hide. Air whizzed past like water flowing through rocks, catching on their masks and then returning to its course. The three hunters held tight to the given straps as their avian steed dropped, and for a moment they wondered if Sucogu was mad flying them straight into the rapids of the river. On the contrary, he swiftly displayed his prowess, pulling up just in time to avoid colliding with the water. Just like that, they were soaring just above the water, racing at the hijacked aquacraft. As the Gukko barreled up the river behind the boat, water spat out behind his wings from displaced air alone. Sucogu flew them onto the deck, where they took a hard landing, claws digging into the wood. Flynn was just awaking from a trance, likely from whatever drugs had caused him to behave so ridiculously in the first place. "Stand down," he commanded as all three men slid off the bird, metal hitting wood as they boarded the boat. Behind them, Sucogu's Gukko took off, gaining an aerial position. In one motion, his hand moved to his sword hilt and slid the blade from its scabbard, directing the point at the recently-conscious Flynn. "I defer to your authority, sir..." he said to Tyrus.
  15. I don't see why it would be so exhausting- it's simply moving water around. The question here is whether or not it would be possible.
  16. IC: (Sucogu) "Welcome to my niche of society," Sucogu greeted as the trio entered a cast iron gate, leading into a courtyard slightly bigger than the quarter size of a Kohlii, surrounded by stone walls, the most notable feature being a large fountain, but plants dotting the entire landscape. A veritable floragerie, the plants ranged from fruit trees to herbs to vegetable gardens. The group, however, discarded the view and hurried to the small stable at the left corner, which housed but two animals- Sucogu's Gukko, Hatter, and his Ussal, Blitzmann. Though the group noticed a blue and yellow Matoran hustling about, evidently a caretaker, they were too busy to acknowledge him and moved directly to the stable. "We must waste no time," said the martial artist as the swung open the door to the Gukko's living space. The bird was a sight to behold, a rather sizable specimen of his kind. Where Sucogu's compatriots may have worried about the three of them fitting on the Gukko, they recognized this as a non-issue. With a whistle, the avian beast snapped to attention, prepared to fly. It was now that they noticed a cord hanging from the ceiling, which, as Sucogu yanked it, caused a trapdoor in the ceiling to open, allowing them to take off directly into the sky. "The assailant took to the river...he is likely headed downstream to Ko-Koro. I suggest this be where we begin our search." "Most honorable sirs," the Toa opened, "we shall lay waste to this thorn in our side. By the end of this cycle, our criminal will be rotting in a prison cell...or rotting in the ground, his blood staining the snow. Most honorable sirs, we now prepare to fly in his pursuit. May Mata Nui have mercy on his soul. OOC: Group to Ko-Koro.
  17. 1. That was a run-on sentence. 2. Why do they need to show up?
  18. IC: (Sucogu) "No sir, my estate is located fairly near here. We must hurry, however- the assailant is likely traveling further as we speak." OOC: timeskip to the estate?
  19. IC: (Sucogu) "Indeed, I can do this, however I have a Gukko at my estate," he offered, "we can take to the skies in pursuit of our target."
  20. You can't? You are going to leave because of this? A pity. You will be sorely missed.
  21. IC: (Leah) Leah had rarely spoken with rich folks in more words than 'give me your wallet before I shoot you' and the idea of going to a party full of them gave her a headache. "I want Khalid as my date," she said bluntly, "that way if we run out of things to talk about he can entertain me with his winning sense of humor and excitement."
  22. Or using a Kualsi to make things explode.
  23. IC: (Sucogu) "You have my word, sir, that I will not leave your side until he is brought to justice."
  24. If our hypothetical Mask of Healing user used his abilities to heal the broken parts in such a way that one's individual body parts were functioning correctly, this would be healing. Now, if these body parts were misarranged so that, together, they would form an entirely new (and significantly more painful to mend) injury, then that would make perfect sense.
