  1. Am I the only one who was expecting the Miro to win? Usually the good guys win after the whole enemy plot has been exposed.
  2. You've got a full plate and I definitely understand. With the quality of your work it's only fair. Glad to have some idea of what's coming next, and glad that prequel will shed light on what happened to the Miro.
  3. Don't worry, Nick...I'm sure he's joking. In the event he's not I'm going to assume he was corrupted like the Miro. So this is the last chapter for a while, huh? Well, it was certainly worth the wait here. It was the most epic chapter you've ever written, despite its tragic end. The battle was intense and never at any point seemed to drag. Ahkmou's stand against the Miro all by himself using Calor's mask was incredible. The Kaita being named, and the names and titles you gave them, were all great. And yet there's still so much you've given us to look forward to. I doubt my writing skills will ever get close to yours. They're seriously good enough that you could do this for a living if you got some widespread attention.
  4. I somehow didn't see the lawyers declaring their clients guilty coming. I was taken by surprise and it was hilarious. This one was pretty good too. Didn't think Mal was the sort to do that though.
  5. Oh the flawless irony. That was hilarious.
  6. Hmm. So they're kind of on a timer to win this and get their masks off...and the stage is indeed set, for quite a chaotic battle. Five Toa against six, and a Mask of Incomprehension is in effect. ...Oh, and it can't be the Shelek. Shelek is another mask, the Mask of Silence.
  7. It was a good chapter. Getting to see the first fight between the Novus and Miro was good. The Novus are in for a tough fight when the numbers get more even though. I like seeing Calor become a stronger character, but I feel bad for him because of how much the process hurts him. His fight against the Mechanicles was cool. Unda is just...childish. Illogical. I do see where he's coming from but I think it's a stupid place to be coming from and I don't like him at all. Ungrateful little a-hole. The final scene, by the way, I kinda pictured with this music instead. Having listened to the one you linked, I do think this one fits better. But you can tell me what you think of it yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0D7T348GYo
  8. Maybe a cliched shot, but it's beautiful artwork. The drawings are getting noticeably better.
  9. Piras has two masks now, and can switch between them like the Toa Mata could back in the day. Also... Plasma is basically a gas superheated and transformed into a fourth state, at which point it stops being a gas. I just figured that... when Sein projects it from his body or summons it, they must be a split second, some intermediate period where it hasn't actually become plasma yet, so that Sein doesn't scorch or blow himself up as he did here when Piras heated the gas and forced it to become plasma early, when it had barely even left Sein's body. Does that make sense, or does it not work? I think that's the only way that makes sense. Otherwise he'd get internal burns every time he used the move and that just wouldn't work out for him. I kind of assumed that while reading, actually, so I think you're good here.
  10. What the... Insane chapter. In a good way for the readers. Not so much for the characters. I did like seeing a maskless Toa, and it looks like Ahkmou will get a new mask. I like that since the Rau isn't exactly one of my favorites. The big shocker of this chapter was really crazy though. Excellently done. We all knew he was evil, but...still. You managed to make it shocking. Sein is also now one of my favorite characters. He seems to be the only Miro who fully stayed...sane. Pun absolutely intended.
  11. That was an excellent chapter. Piras's mask was unexpected but makes so much sense, and the conversation between Vesta and Calor was priceless. Glad to see there's more to Vesta than a scumbag. The ending was ominous. That picture you made of Sein certainly did demonstrate his character in comparison to the other Miro very well.
  12. Fish ones? You mean sets that were set in The Pit? It was a joke about him spelling "pieces" as "pisces." That being said, it was also partially serious because both Nocturn and Takadox had parts that would glow under a blacklight.
  13. Happy Birthday, Shadow. I find it funny how my dance pose is a semi awkward fist pump. Fits real life actually, where I have no skill whatsoever in dancing.
  14. It may have just been mainly talk, but it was still interesting. I like seeing the character interactions here. They seem very real, which can be a hard thing to do when writing. That picture does make me wonder if we'll ever see the true full appearance of the Kaita though. That's something I'd certainly like.
  15. There's no elemental overlap whatsoever with Toa powers. Just as Water is exclusively liquid water and Ice is exclusively frozen water, just as Earth is exclusively dirt and Stone is exclusively rock, Plasma has no power over typical fire, lightning, stars, or anything of the like. It's basically the stuff fired from your typical sci-fi Plasma Cannon/Rifle/Pistol/Blaster. Just that, and nothing else.
  16. I don't remember fuel cells, but I do remember utterly despising Akilini. You're definitely not alone there, I can't figure out how to score and defend consistently enough to win.
  17. Hmm. They all look evil, but they don't act like it. They act more...disturbed. The stuff with Ahkmou being given that dummy mask and having his mask shipped away is really suspicious though. Almost like the Miro are being forced to do some bad things against their will by some outside force.
  18. That has to be a dead giveaway. That being said, I don't mind whether Soran catches on or not. Whichever suits the comedy better.
  19. You'd think the picture wouldn't be as shocking if you didn't know what he looked like before in great detail... Instead it's twice as shocking because of how completely alien he looks. The other Miro looked like different people. He looks like a different species.
  20. Heheh. He does kinda fit in with them. Never saw that before.
  21. Whoa. That is a bulky Toa. If not for being informed before, I would never have guessed she was female. She certainly looks like she's on a hair trigger.
  22. That was the most perfect ending you could have done. A long wait, but a long comic, and funny the whole way through. It's funny how much stronger Nektann is than any of the other Piraka.
  23. Kanohi Force, a-- (cuts to credits)
