...A clock? TIME? THE MASK OF TIME IS REAL!!! Of course! This means we have to find the real-life Mask of Time easter egg.
-
This thread is evidence that Bionicle fans are really good at over-analyzing everything. I mean, it's a clock.

Which robot? The small one as big as Africa, or the big one? Either way I'm still right.

You fools! Don't you realize!.... It's a countdown to the end of the world! I have an ark to build.

Toa Mata Promo Animations - Putting On Mask
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to Pohaturon's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
If I had a mask that could make you run super fast, or super strong, I'd wear it all the time. So no wonder the Toa Mata did too. -
Toa Mata Promo Animations - Putting On Mask
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to Pohaturon's topic in Bionicle Storyline & Theories
Those animations were done at an early point in the story where the masks were tools, not vital necessities. -

Bionicle G2 and The Amazing Spider-Man movies are alike
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Not at all. Then again, I haven't seen it since I was a child. Terrible movie at the end of the day. Even Sam Raimi is ashamed of it. It fluctuates between pretty good and pretty bad so quickly! But I still like it for what it is.- 9 replies

Bionicle G2 and The Amazing Spider-Man movies are alike
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to Lenny7092's topic in Bionicle Discussion
They both were mediocre/ terrible reboots of once-great franchises! Am I the only one who likes Spider-Man 3, by the way?- 9 replies

As others have said - fantastic work! Shadowblazer's music was great, albeit could have been better edited to fit the picture. The sound design as a whole left quite a bit to be desired. But the animation was fluid, the story great, and overall is quite clearly a labor of love! Nice job to both you guys. I love how you nailed the classic Templar style.

Not a reboot -a new direction inspired by G1
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to BryceDuyvewaardt's topic in Fan Created Media
When I think of "Bionicle in its early stages", I think of Bionicle in 2001. The photographs evoke that early Bionicle feeling (nice job with those!), but the website looks way too modern for 2001 Bionicle. -
A Bionicle Story Group - by fans
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to Matt5327's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Why do you think past attempts didn't work out? Were they too ambitious? If so, how? Did they lack the technology to effectively collaborate? If so, what was the technology lacking? This important in determining whether or not this is comparable. No one could agree on anything, there were too many cooks in the kitchen, people were unreliable, and in some cases management was poor and inefficient. -
A Bionicle Story Group - by fans
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to Matt5327's topic in Bionicle Discussion
It won't work. People are going to be upset that THEIR ideas aren't being used, and that THEIR storylines are better than yours anyway! Plus it leaves some feeling left out. Also, you've been here six years, and only twenty posts? Come on, man! -

I don't think book sales were strong enough by that point to warrant Invasion. I think the events of the book still happened in-universe; the book just wasn't released. Greg has bad luck when it comes to computers. He doesn't have the original English for The Crossing anymore either. We don't have a forum archive anymore.

Wait, didn't Bionicles technically not have hands at all? I thought they magnetically grabbed onto items or something. Which logically of course doesn't work very well if you're grabbing something non-magnetic, but I thought that was an explanation. I think you can even see that in effect when Takua grabs his Koli stick in Onu-Wahi in Mask of Light.

More Ideas Projects Hitting Goal
TheSkeletonMan939 replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
Wow, successful Ideas projects that aren't based off of licensed properties! Will wonders never cease? If anything, one should be upset that Valentina Tereshkova isn't in this set! I know she's not NASA, but still... first woman in space and all... -
I'm still scratching my head about that. Was Templar really in such a time crunch that they couldn't create any sound, or proofread any of the text (Nokama proclaims that they are going to "Metra" Nui if I remember correctly)?

Yeah... maybe it's a blessing in disguise that so many players were never able to get out of the Wahi in the Kanoka Club version! They had no chance of being disappointed!
