      It's a meme.

      As to what...

Your guess is a good as mine. =P

  2. I love seeing someone on BZP in a completely unrelated youtube comments section: Kopekemaster2 years ago For some reason, I doubt it will.

      Kopekemaster

What video was that on? (I rarely comment, so you got pretty lucky.)

I was rewatching WV: Ascend after just watching it in my attempt to read through all of homestuck sequentially.

      Link to the specific video:

Ah, that's one of my favorite animations and songs from Homestuck. I honestly have no idea what I meant in the comment though haha.

  3. For Shakespeare, I'll have a few quotes, which I'll put in the comments of this.

“Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once.”

      -Julius Caesar, Julius Caesar.

      Basically don't be a coward.

“Men at some time are masters of their fates:

The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,

But in ourselves, that we are underlings.”

      -Cassius, Julius Caesar

Ah, yes, the quote John Green used. Basically, you have control of your own destiny.

"Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon ’em.”

-Malvolio, reading a letter from Maria, Twelfth Night

Somewhat similar to the quote above, but it still makes my top 5 inspirational quotes from Shakespeare.

  4. *having not got into All-State Band intensifies*

  5. And back in the US and still too lazy to summarize the other days.

  6. Error: application RG.exe has stopped responding. Please restart your day.

  7. Day 4: Pisa, lots of derping, lots of playing BS and dare or dare.

Also forgot this quote from earlier, the question for 42 is how many meanings "Prego" had in Italian.

    2. Millennium

      Millennium

      Sometimes it startles even myself

  8. Day 3: Wednesday: first performance, we encountered some interesting students there, and also got to see the Vatican.

    1. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

One student only knew cursewords in English, which was... interesting.

    2. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

Another a trombonist said grazie to for no real reason, and he responded with an exuberant "Bellisimo!" And asked his name, and he responded in Italian, which apparently most tourists can't do.

    3. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

That was to a different student.

Also, I should learn to always have my flash off, especially when the photo I took and found that I had it on was of a tapestry.

  9. Day 2: Extreme tiredness, going into Italy, I don't remember much of this day from lack of sleep other than entering the airport and hotel, then exploring and dinner in the evening.

    1. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

And we got to see "lollipopes," lollipops with the poll's face on them.

    2. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

Also, "my forn of sustenance is dank memes." -another trombone.

  10. Day 1: Going to Atlanta on a bus that won't stop until we're there for anything, then Amsterdam, where I will give a few quotes on the Netherlands.

    1. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

"Welcome to the Netherlands, where time is dead and meaning has no meaning." -a flute

    2. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

"Sorry, knowing what you're doing is illegal here." -me And if these offend you, then no offense is meant.

  11. So, while I have both a decent amount of time and wifi, I'll summarize the last few days in statii.

  12. Yay, my band is leaving to go to Italy on Monday.

    1. Daler99

      Daler99

      Wow! Have fun!

  13. I love the smell of getting straight ones in the evening MPA went well, as you would guess from those scores. Plus we got a talk on band and music in General from the person in charge of sight reading.

  14. I will say; Pit Orchestra is extremely taxing; with rehearsal ending at 11.

  15. *gives you a duplicate Mettaton* here you go, though that may not end well. =P

  16. The fact that your avatar is Undyne seems rather fitting. =P

    1. Xaeraz

      Xaeraz

well, considering i was Undyne the Undying for a month in there...

    2. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

...how did I never notice that? =P

  17. I'm just going to take this time to say Frank Ticheli is a great composer, and happy birthday to him.

    1. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

I'll also mention some things by him I like in no particular order: Blue Shades, Angels in the Architecture, Symphony #2, Shenandoah, An American Elegy, and Playing with Fire.

  18. So as I watched the Force Awakens earlier, I'll say two non spoiling things about it. A. I liked it. B. The score has gotten past the Planets copying. =D

    1. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

Of course so did the prequel trilogy for the score too. =P

  19. logbase2.750208628(hype)=day in the sequence of iBrow's oblivion teasers.

      Rahkshi Guurahk

That number has that many significant figures for a reason...Also note he started on 3.

  20. I will say, having (the TV show) Sherlock in the Victorian era like the books is great.

    1. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

It's almost as if Sir Arthur Conan Doyle intended that or something. =P

    2. Rahkshi Guurahk

      Rahkshi Guurahk

This feels like it's turning into Inception.

  21. For better or for worse, you've now been called the John Mackey of BZP. =P

    1. Sumiki

      Sumiki

I once met a guy who was once confused for the son of John Mackey

      does that count

    2. Rahkshi Guurahk
  22. So the band concert went well, and I won tickets to the local symphony's concerts in an auction there also.

  23. One does not simply understand Sumiki.

  24. Yay, community band concert is tomorrow. I'm playing Bass Clarinet.

We're playing: Esprit de Corps by Robert Jager, Liturgical Dances by David Holsinger, Shenandoah by Frank Ticheli, Them Basses by Getty H. Huffine, we're premiering [REDACTED] by [REDACTED] (yes they're our own composer,) a medley of several Star Wars things, Xerxes by John Mackey, and we have two encores in Armed Forces Salute either arranged or written by Bob Lowden, and an arrangement of Nightmare Before Christmas.

      Pretty fun program. =D
