  1. IC: "I don't suppose I've ever been known to refuse summons from mysterious strangers, so--" Lekua jumped in surprise at a tap on his shoulder, and he turned to see Cyclone's head pushed through the open window. The bird's black eyes watched him expectantly. Lekua shook his head and scratched the bird's feathers with a soft chuckle. He turned back to the visitor. "I don't know about faith, but you've got me curious, and I don't expect you're going to give me any straight answers unless I show up to your party." He shrugged. "I'll be there."
  2. IC: "I've gotta say, in that ... hypothetical scenario, I might find that hard to believe." He turned, now facing the stranger directly. "What exactly are you getting at, friend?"
  3. Logged on today and found by complete coincidence that August 6 was the day I had joined BZPower back in 2010. Thought that was interesting. Then I looked at my last blog entry and realized that I unknowingly made that one on the sixth of August as well, two years ago. Weird. Of course as I write this it's now past midnight were I live.
  4. IC: There was a time when Lekua would have answered the question without hesitation, but now-- He was unsure of the stranger's intentions. How do I "feel"? Is this some kind of psychology test? An interview? He had no interest in either, and besides, the feelings that this Matoran claimed interest in were not so straightforward as they had once been. Thoughts Lekua had not pondered in months swam through his mind as he crossed the hall to the window where the Matoran stood. The city bustled below. "Duty, that was always Stannis's big thing. I don't know if you've met him, but..." With a faint smile he glanced at the stranger, but he couldn't gauge his companion's reaction. "Hm. Unity was pretty convenient, until it wasn't. Destiny--" He shrugged. "It's pretty meaningless, I guess. Me and Stannis were on the same path, we thought, and now I'm here and he's, you know, Stannis." A pause. "Lepidran too, and, well..." He was still having trouble getting a read on this guy. There was more he could say, but - "I'm sorry, I still don't know who you are."
  5. Time to put on a show ... action!

Thanks; it's good to be back.

  6. IC: Lekua's curiosity overcame his misgivings. He followed. "Stannis is important, yes," he said carefully, "but I'm far from it. So - who are you, exactly? What do you know about Stannis's companions?"
  7. IC: Lekua frowned, almost imperceptibly. Of all the places he may have anticipated a conversation with a stranger beginning, his travels with the Wanderer were not among them. "I don't have anywhere to be at the moment," he said. "Did you have somewhere in mind?"

    DANGIT

what the cee it's 2017 already
  9. What even is this website

  10. IC: Lekua paused briefly, his brow contracting as he attempted to identify the Matoran who had spoken to him. Not anyone he knew, he decided. He blinked. "Of course." OOC: """""briefly"""""
  11. You can only be a true fan if you've beaten the CD-i games.
  12. Junebug is pretty good, but it's not good enough for me to blow credits on since I've gotten both Junker and B.Va as random drops. My battletag is baltarc#1148 by the way, if anyone wants to add me.
  13. @Shockwave: PC, if you're on PC also and want to add me I'll look up my Bnet ID later. @Tarn: Keep at it man, this is the only skin I've gotten so far. The McCree skin is pretty dope, easily tied with this one for second best summer skin @Ehks: The D.Va skin is nice but it's not as good as her Junker skin imo
  14. Got this on my eleventh summer box. I actually wanted the Champion skin (ie the white version of this), but I'll take it if it means I don't have to spend the rest of the month grinding levels for loot boxes Game is Overwatch for those unaware.
  15. I was at my computer when Skype chat ring "Bionicle is kill" "no"
  16. I feel like Junkrat should be able to clean out a setup like that fairly quickly, especially with a Reinhardt to cover him. Alternatively, if your team focuses down the turret and kills it quickly, you could probably send a Winston in to clear Symmetra's microwave without much trouble. Zarya could do it easily if someone else ran in and she put a barrier on them - that's a free 50% energy - and then she can kill the turret under her own barrier and clear the teleporter and Sym turrets with her alt fire. End-of-season rewards for all players have been confirmed, and I'm like 90% sure you keep your purple money between seasons, so you should be able to get your golden weapons eventually even if it does take a while. If they were easy to get, that would kind of defeat the point, haha. Competitive does kinda suck though, and I've mostly just been sticking to Quick Play. Worst part for me is when somebody on the other team ragequits and then you get next to no MMR when you win. I'd offer to queue with you but it looks like you're on console and I'm on PC, unfortunately.
  17. A friend and I have been doing a randomized playthrough of Pokemon Fire Red and a couple days ago I came across this guy: Less than a day later, this: BUT I can't use either of them since it's a Nuzlocke run. AND I can't transfer them because it's on an emulator. THANKS NINTENDO
  18. The other benefit of an Exo-Force movie would be Exo-Force not being dead.
  19. Note that if you're auctioning something off, you have to explicitly specify that you're doing so as per the B/S/T rules.
  20. A Piraka shirt would be sick.
  21. This is pretty cool and $25 seems reasonable. I'm definitely interested.
  22. IC: Vaíl, Ga-Koro, unidentified bar/inn Vaíl downed what remained of her drink as she waited for her dinner to arrive. Behind her, the antagonistic pair was already talking about kissing and making up. She vaguely wondered what kind of person draws a sword in public space just to drop their beef moments later. She heard one of the Toa - the black one - indicate that his mask was the source of their conflict. Oh yeah, that weird gold thing. She cast a half-glance back at it. Didn't look familiar. The ruki had arrived, immediately drawing back her attention. To her disappointment, but not really her surprise, it was in fact a touch below mediocre.
  23. IC: Vaíl, Ga-Koro, unidentified bar/inn Vaíl raised the drink to her lips and turned toward the combatants with mild interest. "You usually let your patrons swing their swords all over this place?" she asked the bartender, eyes still on the two Toa. At that moment the Ta-Toa had the brilliant idea of tossing a fireball at his opponent. She turned, raising an eyebrow. "Or do that?" The bartender winced. "We're ... between bouncers at the moment." Vaíl sighed. "Hey idiot, do your best not to burn this place down, all right?" she called out. "Trying to eat here." She turned back toward the bartender. "Speaking of which, any recommendations?" "The fried ruki's a touch above mediocre." "Sure."
  24. IC: Vaíl, Ga-Koro, unidentified bar/inn Vaíl smirked. "Glad you're being so civil about it. Please, don't let me get in your way." She glanced at the Toa's drawn blade as she sidestepped him. "Looks pretty sharp; don't hurt yourself." She didn't bother watching for a reaction but seated herself at the bar, signalling the barkeep for a glass of whiskey.
  25. IC: Vaíl, Ga-Koro Vaíl wandered through Ga-Koro in search of an eating/drinking/sleeping establishment that possessed some combination of the "nearby," "still open this time of night," and "not 100% shady" characteristics, roughly in that order of importance. It wasn't exactly an easy pursuit, but she managed to find a place that met her quickly-lowering standards before too long. A lantern burned outside the establishment's door, but the additional light did little to make the worn sign more legible. She stepped inside. "--eat those words, for I'm prepared to make you!" welp She quickly sized up the speaker. Weird-looking gold mask, everything else black, sword. Toa. Uncertain element - earth, maybe? Standing. Clearly unhappy. His words seemed to be directed at a seated figure: Huna, armored in red and black, also sword, also Toa, probably fire. She assessed this information within a single brief moment. Vaíl wasn't looking for any excitement this evening, but then again, she was also seriously hungry by this point and didn't want to hunt for another place to eat. Neither of the pair looked particularly dangerous, so she simply let the door close silently and headed toward the bar, hopefully unnoticed.
