  1. Here you go. Honestly, I feel like without the proboscis the face is rather lacking. Also, I wasn't necessarily comparing it to a Nui-Kopen, merely just saying it's got a combination of the face design of both Nui Rama (The proboscis of the orange one, and the lower jaw of the green one). I did the same thing with my Tarakava, giving it a lower jaw like the green tarakava, and the upper head of the blue one.
  2. Without the proboscis the model looks rather lacking on the face. I also feel like it looks a bit like a combination of the orange and green Nui-Rama designs. I can post pictures without it, just so you guys can see what I mean.
  3. I'm back once again with my 2001 Rahi Revamps! You can check out my Nui-Rama here! But in a surprising turn of events, next up we have the Tarakava, rather than the Nui-Jaga. The reason for this is actually quite simple. Because I chose to switch to purple instead of blue for my Nui-Jaga, I am currently waiting for my yellow barraki eyes to arrive with my next bricklink order. But, I didn't want to make all you folks wait, so I decided to post my Tarakava MOC whilst you were all waiting. My Tarakava MOC is easily the one that differs most from it's original model. As I was working on it, I decided to take a different route, and rather than just throwing on some boring back legs, I thought to myself, "The original model was amphibious, so how can I make it look more aquatic in appearance?" Hence the tail. The tail actually uses a very unique articulation design, with a hose braced against the middle to keep it from tipping, but still giving it enough movement to bend in nearly any direction. Another unique feature is that it has a locking mechanism on it's back (directly below that black tail), that, when moved, can allow the entire torso to twist around backwards, transforming the model into it's aquatic mode. Tarakava vs. The Master of Water! You'll be seeing the Nui-Jaga sometime next week, followed by the Kane-Ra and Manas Revamps. Stay tuned, and please upvote and comment!
  4. I was actually thinking the same thing. It's kind of a shame that we really didn't get anymore large rahi past the two we received in 2003 (Visorak aren't large rahi). But yeah, I guess my only negative thing to say about it is the size compared to Okoto Lewa...it's not big enough compared to the master. It's still large enough to pose a threat, but I personally would've tried to scale it to the new size. And that's a very minor gripe; very nice revamp indeed! Oh, I never intended to scale it to Gen 2 Bionicle. I just threw in the pics with Gen 2 Lewa to make you guys jelly.
  5. With the new 2015 sets only days from being out (or already in some of our homes, like mine ), I've been wanting to work on a project I've thought of doing for awhile now. Images link to larger ones on Brickshelf. Please upvote and comment if you like it! Front Back Side Top Angle Top (No Stand) Bottom (No Stand) New and Old Comparison Nui Rama vs. Lewa! The Battle Continues! The Great Fly vs. The Master of Jungle! The Tarakava, Nui Jaga, and Manas Revamps are all in the works as of this topic's posting. You'll be seeing them soon!
  6. I hope to use the Mask of Light soundtrack from for the book counterpart. We're not sure about Adventures yet.
  7. Book 3 has been delayed due to time constraints. However, rest assured it will be out by early January, perhaps sooner!
  8. Fantastic work! This will come in very handy during the ANP Project EDIT: The images you have for the three movies have inconsistent titles. Only Legends of Metru Nui has the words "Original score" in its title. Not sure if you find it worth changing, but I have OCD.
  9. Kretta has been cast for the role of Hewkii, and Ayeff has been cast for the role of Kongu! Also, book 2 is complete! Stay tuned for the second Meet-the-Cast episode, and book 3!
  10. I've been talking with the rest of the cast regarding the pronounciation. Yes, I botched Le-Koro and Le-Matoran. It shouldn't have been said 'lay' because this is entirely incorrect. The Loo vs. Lee is still in debate though. This will be fixed in the downloadable version. Until we reach Adventures, I don't have any plans on using any non-Bionicle music, mainly because Templar music is so abundant. The music is intended to fit the mood, and since some chapters are back-to-back (like the Krana Lewa Chapters), it's intended for them to have the same theme playing. The same cannot be said for Adventures and Legends though, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I found out about malestrom afterwards, I plan on fixing this in the downloadable version as well. Yup! All 30 books will be narrated (If all goes well).
  11. Thanks! And I never even thought about the fact that Kopaka could've used his mask power to see down there...
  12. Thanks for all the fan support, where would we be if nobody listened to it?
  13. Lego had a general order for the books, though the serials weren't ordered because many of them were written at the same time. I'm glad you like it!
  14. Makes sense, I definitely agree with this for the years where the main story events are covered in both books and comics. But I think it would be alright to add in the comics like from 2003 - 05 that actually take place between events (for example, 05 is very messy in terms of placement). Might make it clearer for someone who wants to go through the comicbooks chronologically as well. -NotS Perhaps for the Chronological order, but I don't want it to be overwhelming for new fans to be alternating between books and comics (I know this confused me a TON when I was reading the series).
