i used to hover between extremes modesty-wise - i went from egotistical to having very little self esteem, but i've been at a much healthier level over the past couple of months, which is cool

i'm embarrassed by my old everything, tbh

i thought i was really great at everything when i really, really wasn't (thankfully i've improved my writing, behaviour and modesty )

still, i guess it stands as a testament to one's improvement

(it's still really embarrassing though ._.)

i only wish i could get rid of some of my older stuff, i imagine it feels very liberating

i can't imagine how having spent seven years on the site must feel, having spent almost three already terrifies me xD

in fairness, from your behaviour i don't think you're at a point where you particularly need to mature

i mean, i started on this site when i was 13 and i'm now 16 (THREE YEARS OF MY LIIIIIIIIFE), my personality is obviously going to be changing and a lot of it would involve becoming more mature, and as such i feel the need to disassociate myself from my previous identities, just as a little reminder of, 'hey, so i'm not really that person anymore', y'get me?

you gotta swap it out sometimes

just to find something that fits, y'know? i feel like i change/mature enough as a person every few months or so to be like, 'right, i need a new name', so i try and find one
