  1. IC: Nisaduf (Engineering Sector) The Fe-Matoran hadn't seen it coming. Or heard it, for that matter. At Riss's greeting, the Nynrah Ghost jumped, gasped, and turned all at once, almost instinctively summoning the Illusion to her control. Upon seeing that it wasn't just anyone, no, it was Riss, Nisa didn't have any words to speak. Her lime eyes were just frozen in shock and indecision, with her mouth hanging partly open. In that instant, Nisaduf just wanted to curl up in a dark corner and cry again. Oh, nononono. This was the absolute worst thing. Here she was, at her worst, with shaky nerves and tears staining her mask. And Riss had seen her. There was no using the Illusion to cover up her pains this time. There was nowhere to hide, nowhere to run. She eventually found the ability to speak once more and did so, casting her eyes downwards and rubbing an arm in a sort of uncomfortable sadness. "...hi, Ri-Sunburst."
  2. they call me zakaro or zak or my actual display name but mainly zakaro
  3. everything is a red herring i would use that to determine my vote but i fear my tactics are already being accounted for we must dig deeper fishers fell, the spooky voice said, ffffishers, ffffell what sound does that make, and what does that mean? yes you're right fell is like rivenfell which is a fantasy name, much like a Vale of Dreams a vale and a dale Valendale is the only correct choice for mafia it seems to be easier, a continual theme of V? but you would be mistaken vox may be a red herring that is a type of fish while that would normally point towards fishers, she is dead therefore... wait no it is written in the stars the list is as follows: Voxumo, Null #5, Blade, Unit, and Rider why would the null not be at the end? xae doesn't want us to figure out the code Voxumo, Blade, Unit, Rider, Null5 remove the red herring Blade, Unit, Rider, Nulll5 BURN gentlemen i have found a mafioso, just not the one who committed the crime. moreso, perhaps voxumo is not a red herring perhaps he is the outlier, the one that is different the one who did this crime VV, Vox and Val, they have my votes.
  4. IC: Nisaduf (Engineering Sector) "...I don't think I'd be comfortable with that," the little Matoran eventually says. "It's like... taking a dead man's home. Or vehicle. Just..." The Fe-Matoran sighs and clambers up onto the shoulder of The B Side of the Moon, starting to check the armoring there for anything she could re-bolt or fix with what little supplies she had on hand. She didn't even notice Riss's arrival, caught in her deliberations as she was. "..it's not right. Graverobbing, I guess."
  5. Name: Nisaduf Species: Fe-Matoran Power/Weapon 1 & 2: The Illusion of Greatness: A nanobot-swarm that resides within the hollows of Nisaduf's armor and has the basic ability to fly, grab onto things, create illusions, and connect to one another to form into a dagger. Using this, Nisaduf can roughly replicate a majority of elemental powers that are either mere illusion or a combination of such and nanobot help. (Ex. To emulate a Pakari, they can help Nisaduf lift or hit stronger, though the effect is certainly lesser and can be noticed by an experienced fighter.) Along with this, it allows Nisaduf to make an illusion over herself to make her appear as another fighter. After Landfall, the Illusion has degraded somewhat, bring only able to create basic shapes such as cones, shields, or spheres. Sharp edges are nearly impossible to create anymore, although points are still very pointy. Power/Weapon 3: A nondescript dagger about the size of Nisaduf's forearm. She was handed it one day after looking around for something to do, she has little idea of whether it originates from another deceased fighter or a Cultist that was shot down. Appearance: When not cloaked in a nanobot illusion, Nisaduf seems to be a fairly average Matoran. The lime green eyes behind a powerless Kakama are tinged with madness, cold logic, and sometimes almost adoration, but she's smaller than a normal Matoran. Her armor is mainly a dull iron with burnt orange highlighting her lips, fingertips, and other place of note while grey skin makes it certain that she is indeed a Fe-Matoran. Having been a Nynrah Ghost, her armor isn't her original armor, but is improved and hollow in many places, allowing it not only to give under powerful blows but house her creation, The Illusion of Greatness. Bio: Nisaduf hails from a universe very aware of the interdimensional broadcasting platforms. Well, at the least, Nynrah is. She never really paid attention to anything other than what was happening in the latest broadcast anyway. Sure, she enjoyed inventing, but Nisaduf's true passion was following the Bionifight, seeing the great Starburst perform at her latest venue, and the like. She was a fangirl, in the truest meaning of the term, and her idols unsurprisingly didn't even know she existed. Also unsurprising was when she first began to invent machines to give her the powers that her idols had, using them to make her feel like them. Like many Nynrah Ghosts before, after, and across the multiverse, she fell victim to the idea that she was the best. But why work hard to become one of the best when you can just take one of the best's spots? The Illusion of Greatness was born, and the name of the weapon was completely and totally ironic, even to Nisaduf herself. But the beings on those broadcasts, they were her heroes; Nisaduf has always wanted to be likethem. And now she can, on the glorious Friday night beat-'em-up extravaganza primetime event itself, Bionifight. Maybe she'll even get to participate in the hidden camera spin-off 'Out of the Arena'! With her experiences thus far in the Arena and with Landfall, Nisaduf has lost some of her energy. She has worked herself into a state of near-constant tears, and just wants to help out. Her dreams of becoming one of her heroes has been dropped for the time. Personality/Other: At heart, even though she's rapidly become an insane fangirl who wants to literally become her heroes, Nisaduf's still a fangirl, and that's the outward appearance she emits. Though her eyes- and thoughts, considering the physics in the tournament- often reveal her true thoughts, her small stature actually helps in that few beings bother to get down on her level enough to truly recognize the slightly crazed look in her eyes for what it is. Her main topics of conversation are usually the heroes she idolizes, and when faced with a situation the reaction is usually to ponder 'What would [Hero] do? Landfall has toned Nisaduf down, bringing her more into a depression. She's started to actually consider what would happen if she took down and replaced one of her heroes, and that has begun to cause inner conflict with herself. Changes are underlined. Name: Nisadeff (Preferes to be called 'Nisa', real name is Nisaduf. Changed her name upon induction into the Cult.) Species: Heavily modified Fe-Matoran Faction: Vapautti Sielu, Worshipper of Kuolema, Deity of Death Power/Weapon 1: Great Mahiki, Mask of Illusions. "Allows its user to change their appearance to a limited degree or to cast optical illusions. The user can change the way others see them and imitate voices, but cannot copy any powers the original has." -BS01 Power/Weapon 2: Dual Dueling Sickles. Why are they for dueling? Because Nisa said so. They're a half-moon of razor-sharp edges, at least on the inside. The outside is duller, but can still draw blood. Don't forget the point of it all, however, that's the sharpest part. Nisa has made comments about using them to hang on people and thus ride them. And slitting their throats. Great fun, really! Power/Weapon 3: Fluid Death. Due to the various experiments conducted on her body, Nisadeff now excretes a silvery acid in place of blood or any other normal liquids, including sweat and saliva. It's powerful enough to burn through most armoring within a few minutes, and is devastating on any exposed skin. She can use it in many ways, though the most potent would be to kiss someone or directly allow a large open wound to bleed onto a person. Appearance: Nisadeff is unsurprisingly very similar to her counterpart, with a petite stature even for a female Matoran, Kakama-shaped mask and burnt orange highlights complementing her grey skin. However, her Ghost-improved armor is more silvery and flowing, as if to emulate the liquid she now creates. Her mask is not powerless, being a Mahiki, though the most drastic difference is her shining, silver eyes. No hint of lime exists in these, just a silver sheen. If one was to look very closely, they could notice the faint silver lines of her blood vessels tracing her body. Bio: For a majority of her lifespan, Nisadeff was Nisaduf. It was all alike, really. She watched and obsessed over Bionifight and those broadcasts, her idols forming just like they had before. It was mostly the same, up until the idea of the Illusion of Greatness. In this universe, she went to the community of Nynrah Ghosts for help, asking to be able to use a Great Mask. They agreed to alter her to do that, as long as they could try a few things on the side. All in the name of science, of course. So she got acid blood out of the deal too. Nisadeff wasn't too annoyed, or even angry. No, she was happy, of course! Why else would she kiss every single scientist in the facility? Kissing is a happy thing! And one day the Cult came to find her all alone, smiling, surrounded by her fellow Ghosts who for some strange reason had burnt off their lips. And teeth. Actually, it just looked like they tried to wear acid lipstick. How silly of them! Nisadeff was promptly inducted into the Cult, and it only took a little convincing for her to accept a new truth. Becoming her heroes was silly! Oh no, Nisadeff would become a new type of hero, that which would save her heroes by the teachings and blessings of Koulema! She could not allow them to face a terrible fate, she would have to save them from themselves and from this poor world around them. Personality/Other: Nisadeff is female, happy, bubbly, totally devoted to her deity Koulema, and totally not psychotic at all! Oh no, all she wants to do is save her heroes. Becoming them is so pre-Koulema, after all. Koulema is love. Koulema is life. And death. Mainly death. Yay!
  6. IC: Nisaduf (Engineering Sector) Someone was calling. Was it to her? She didn't know. With a sigh, the Matoran turned her tear-stained mask around, scanning to see if anyone was watching her. Yes, someone was. A Vortixx, by the looks of it. She followed his eyes down to the small silver mech, and frowned. It wasn't one she recognized at a glance, which was odd. Perhaps it was a backup one from before the whole Landfall thing. "I doubt it," her voice eventually came. "Mechs are locked to their owners, as far as I know."
  7. IC: Nisaduf (Engineering Sector) She would be honest, she hadn't been much help. Too small to help lift. Too sad to help cheer. Too scared to help protect. Nisaduf was all too aware of things now. She wasn't sure what to do. Tears had made themselves a near-permanent fixture on her face, the tracks of which were steadily carving themselves into her mask. For the first week, all she could do was hide in a corner and mutter to herself, "It's not just a game. It's not just a game. It's not just a game anymore." Recovery hadn't been swift. The Nynrah Ghost was, now, at least doing what she could do, and do well: electronics. To be precise, for the moment she had been drafted onto Dreisen's team of workers to help fix and upkeep the mechs. The Fe-Matoran had insisted. She didn't want to be useless, not now. The only reprieve from her worries was that at the least, few people had seen her, and nobody who she really knew had. What would someone like Ten or Vagust say if they saw her being this self-pitying? It would probably be a scolding, that wasn't how heroes acted. Blinking away the latest round of tears, Nisaduf sniffled and got back to securing and checking over the B Side of the Moon's wiring. Riss had been putting it through its paces lately. That Toa was a real hero, not like Nisaduf.
  8. IC: Astaer (Engineering Sector) Home? Astaer wasn't sure whether home would be a good thing or a bad thing. This place, however, was only bad. Evil practically emanated from the land, and it disturbed her greatly. Home, at least, was familiar. She would not trust this being. However, for now, she would work with him. The transparent Korumine stalked forward and stood nearby, watching Kale, waiting to meet his eyes. Once they did, all she would do was nod and then back away, just watching him and the others. OOC: Interacting with Kale.
  9. IC: Zakaro (Wailing Cliffs) An Onu-Toa stood alone, gazing into the distant horizon with a gaze of steel. Cold, harsh, and inflexible. The War Games seemed a distant memory now, with nary a thought devoted to it anymore. The events that had happened directly after? Those were burned into his mind. Gone, for now, perhaps forever, was the Toa who laughed in the face of life-threatening danger. Life was more precious than anything else now. He understood that. In the first few days after, where his Strength was needed to help push the facility into a reasonably working order, or at least a livable one, he understood it. As the days past and he was needed only for lesser tasks, such as creating fertile soil or just making barricades, he understood. And now, as he stood and watched absolutely nothing, face set in a grim line, he understood. This was no quest, this was survival. An Onu-Toa stood alone, gazing at nothing and everything at once.
  10. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) "Look at that, I made a joke of myself. Who needs logic when you have inconsistent tunnels!"
  11. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) "Weelllll, if this place follows any sort of logical rules-which I highly doubt-then the next thing to do is probably this!" As she spoke, the Le-Toa made her way towards the group gathered around Langmuir, the gem, and the pedestal, and accented her last word by shoving the pedestal. Whether it moved or not was debatable, and therefore whether Aji ended up looking like a fool was as debatable as that first issue and in fact directly tied to that.
  12. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) "Might-be recommend-ed," Aji cut in, trilling the words slightly. "After all, for all we know about these things, you could be turning his insides into a furnace. Or coal. Or frying his brain, siphoning his powers, sapping his will, or maybe something positive, but I think we can all assume that positive affects are only for the holders so it's probably bad." IC: Zakaro (Arma Virique, Strike B, Cove Tunnels, fighting Dajik and Feli) The Onu-Toa rose to his feet, coughing once more, before glancing at Feli and Zangah. Taking the chance and glancing to the side to ensure Owethed hadn't been overtaken by the Smoke Toa, Zakaro created a dirt padding over the ceiling before releasing his grip on it, sending a rain of dusty earth over the Wraithknight's faceplate.
  13. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Quest) "Ah, there's the furnace. Good good, now we've visited the AC and the furnace, plus the spooky sword room. Where next, the water supply? I could use a swim." IC: Zakaro (Arma Virique, Strike Team B, Tunnels vs. Dajik and Feli) There was something. Was there something? There was. Owethed and the opponent- at least, the first one- had disappeared into the smoke and a constant train of vibrations that Zakaro couldn't make any difference between one or the other, forcing him to try to step back, breathe lightly, and prepare another attack. And then, something larger. Seismic thuds, a rhythm of walking, something larger than yet encountered. "Karzit, down!" the Onu-Toa yelled, dropping to the ground and rolling to a side as plasma screamed over his head, burning a shoulderpad which began to drip hot liquid onto Zakaro's mask, drawing a hiss of pain before his roll brought it under his head rather than over. With a grunt of attack, he slapped the ground, earthen powers awakening and rolling through the substance. And with that, a loud cracking rung through the corner, and the ground in front of Zakaro- thus facing Feli or at least the general direction of the shot- suddenly tilted, the floor falling in front of Zak but rising a few meters later into an edge. If the sudden change didn't cause the Wraithknight to crash itself between the tunnel ceiling and floor with the abrupt lack of space, at the least the movement of the ground would buy Zakaro a few moments to recover and truly engage.
  14. told ya we should'a lynched null #7 jason got away this time i swear that he will not the next
  15. IC: Zakaro (Arma Virique, Strike Team B, Cove Tunnels) It was quiet. Too quiet. Things were always quiet, however, so the fact that they were too quiet at this particular moment had little bearing on Zakaro's level of caution. That level being very high. Left hand on the wall, right hand grasping his sword, Zakaro led his three-man Strike Team through the winding tunnels of the Cove, gradually going upwards. It was a good five or six minutes after they entered the tunnels that Zakaro stopped, raising his hand in a fist to indicate his companions do the same. There was someone, or perhaps something, just a curve or two down the tunnel, and they had been shifting on their feet, perhaps even pacing, and had just stopped. It was more the stoppage of that movement that alerted Zakaro than anything else. Perhaps they could get the drop on this fighter, perhaps not. The raised hand morphed into a countdown. Three fingers. Zakaro crouched and focused, preparing his elemental abilities to react instantly as soon as he saw the being. Two fingers. His left hand departed from the wall and grabbed at his sword, grasping the hilt lightly. One finger. An earthen orb formed in his right palm, and his Pakari activated. "Go!" Zakaro whisper-shouted, darting around the corner to hug the right wall and throwing the orb full-Pakari-powered-force at the being. OOC: Strike Team B encountering and engaging any of the Fist fighters within the Cave system. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) She had been dubious of that platform but followed anyway, and had just stepped on when the ground dropped out from under her. Shouting with surprise, and not really enthusiastic about being trapped in that small space with all of the other volatile beings on this quest, Ajiseni simply and easily engaged her jets, climbing- or rather slowing her fall- above the rest rapidly. As the drop continued, she just allowed herself into a controlled fall, descending more slowly but not so much as to lose sight of the rest, though perhaps the shaft was too short for that to ever happen.
  16. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) "Oh boy, we got a one-way ticket to the top of the Mt. Ihu Air Conditioned Cave Facilities! I'll assume we're meant to keep our hands and feet to ourselves and not touch all the nice shiny and sparkly things?"
  17. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Quest) You may ask, inquire, wonder why Ajiseni, a Toa who had shown little restraint in threatening others before hadn't seemed to react to any of the fight between Praggos, Glaive, and the Enforcer. While the blatant answer is simply that the spooky force of myself wasn't around to control her important actions, for an in-universe reason one could chalk it up to the fact that sheer relief of being returned to her own, not super thin and tall body and the celebration of that event occupied most of that time. The rest was spent returning to the back of the group and carefully staying out of things. Why would she do that and not get involved? Again the answer is more meta than realistic, but in this case the simple concept of sheer shock, exasperation, and incomprehension that a being couldn't listen to simple logic drew more sighs than punches. As the group entered the colder tunnels, her totally sincere and not sarcastic tones rung out. "Guess we found the air conditioning."
  18. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) "...well then. I'm not sure how to respond to this," 'Langmuir' said, and promptly tripped over her own, suddenly longer, legs. "...Mata-Nui help us, because right now we're Karz'd. Fantastically Karz'd, if I do say so myself, wonderfully, fantastically, amazingly Karz'd!" As she spoke, 'Langmuir' threw up her arms in expression, the limbs flailing quite ungracefully as the body said more than she had since waking up in this entire tournament. It was an odd disconnect from the shy Toa that had occupied that body up to that point.
  19. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) "Because this whole chamber thing can't keep its things in line and is somehow mixing up names, souls, and bodies, how else?"
  20. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) For once, Aji didn't have a snarky comment to make. Rather, she didn't have any sort of annoyed, or sarcastic, or grumpy, or really any comment to make at all. It wasn't that she didn't want to make one, but rather that she just couldn't find the right words. After unsuccessfully trying to articulate her problems for a few seconds, the Le-Toa just sighed and planted her chin in her hand, blankly watching the continuing shenanigans.
  21. IC: Zakaro (Arma Virique, Strike Team B, Cove Tunnels) "I think we're good," Zakaro said. It had been a few seconds since the Strike Team had made it into the caves, and with his breath caught Zak was ready to rumble. "I'll take point unless either of you want it. Should be able to feel some of the vibrations in the stone, even though it's stone. Seismic stuff is kinda my thing. I can tell if something big is coming, at the least. Let's be off." The Onu-Toa placed his left hand on the side of the tunnel and paused for a moment, making sure the way forward was clear enough. Motioning for the other to follow, he began to slide forward, trying to make as little sound as possible for the moment, and keeping all of his senses as alert as possible. Smell, any sign of light other than from behind, any odd sounds, they were all things he was watching for. Figuratively. Onu-Toa Zak may be, but his night vision was only a bit better than the normal.
  22. the answer is easy guys the list is as follows: KLJSN what does this mean? also simple KiLlJaSoN we must kill jason who is jason? that is the real question, my friends the answer may surprise you it may shock you what does jason sound like, just a little? seven. it's null #7. There is no other answer. I VOTE FOR NULL #7!
  23. IC: Ajiseni (Enforcer Fun) "Less strange in general would be nice," Aji muttered, before crying out and promptly punching three or four Invatusus (Invati?)- or at least attempted to punch them, more than likely being able to due to the extremely close quarters. "Mata-Nui! Do you have any concept of personal space!" IC: Nisaduf (Royal Blindside) She just took things in for a while, frowning while Thaera ranted and people freaked out around her. Perhaps freaking out was too strong a word, but certainly nobody was all that calm. "Apparently so," she replied absently, gazing off to nowhere in particular. It was one of those odd times where she felt oddly disconnected, like it was all just being viewed on a screen. She yawned. Ah, that was why. The Pyramid was at a comfortable temperature, and Nisa hadn't really slept. Not enough coffee, she decided. Or adrenaline. That would wake her up quite well. IC: Sevyn (Royal Blindside) Sevyn frowned. That didn't sound good! Guess it was time to make some Healing Draughts. He began to do so. This Bionifight thing didn't seem too hard so far, though it hadn't really been interesting either. Such is the life of a chef. IC: Zakaro (Arma Virique, Strike Team B) "I'll assume that's a yes, then!" Zakaro decided, the choice becoming absurdly easy as soon as something impacted his wall with a dense thud of sand of earth, and grains of both substances rained down over Zakaro's head. Shooting a grin at Zangah and Owethed- at least Zakaro thought that's what his name was- the Onu-Toa sprinted across the field, raising a light wall just for cover until he slipped into the relative safety of the cave. "Alright! This is okay! Anyone object to rolling through these caves? If ya do, feel free to have fun with the snipers outside!"
  24. IC: Zakaro (Arma Virique, Strike Team B, Cove) Something seared across Zakaro's shoulderpad and he reacted instantly, halting his charge for the second and pausing to glance at the top of the cliff, trying to locate at least the being who had just shot at him. That was halted by the sound of a gunshot and corresponding impact as this one smacked the Toa in the other shoulderpad, swinging him around and sending him tumbling to the ground. "Karzit!" he swore, and flipped himself over to throw up a semi-circular earthen wall, a head or so over his height, to protect him for a few seconds, expanding it to be a good forearm's length thick a second later. It would hold against whatever they threw at him for a few shots, at least, and that was good enough for now. "Well, this isn't going fantastic! All in favor of heading for that tunnel?" IC: Astaer (Arma Virique, Strike Team A) The transparent Korumine was currently just clinging to the back of Sudrec's mech, having found herself a suitable point to wedge a foot and hand without getting trapped in any moving parts and hanging on from there. The assault on the dome was impressive, to be sure, but it did make her wary. Yes, nearly anything and everything made her wary, but this show of power was something to be noted if she was ever turned upon. Most of the current counterattacks did nothing to do except cause her to duck down and stop watching, hiding herself entirely behind the mech. It could take the hits for her, thank you very much. IC: Nisaduf, Sevyn (Royal Blindside) Whistling, Sevyn finished up and slipped the Flaming Hot Peppers into a smaller pocket that also had the Stupor Shots stored there for easy access, and left the food on the table, only bothering to shove the grill back into his apron. Don't think about how that works. It just does. Nisaduf took Thaera's hand and followed the crowd once more, speaking as she did. "Seems to be so." And she didn't speak again as things began to spiral downwards.
