  1. IC: Nisaduf (Comfort Sector, with Ilyin) She frowns for a second, glancing down at her hands which are being warmed nicely by her steaming mug of coffee. With a slight sigh, she transfers the handle to her left hand and separates her right, extending the limb towards Ilyin, still quite confused and tired but curious enough to indulge the stranger. IC: Sevyn (Commercial Sector, with Yuri) "Ah, that is an interesting little spice called the garlion! Tis a nifty combination of garlic and onion, mixed together in one plant for when you need a strong flavor to overcast a sour aftertaste! It's a gift from a friend, said he found it or made it or something. I don't particularly know or care, but it certainly can add an interesting zap to a meal!" IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, with Mirror) "Really now?" She turns towards Mirror inquisitively, crossing her legs and leaning forward, the aura of lady-like interest destroyed by the fact that she was still holding a piece of pizza. "Metru Nui of your land must be a better place than mine, then. My Metru Nui is the epitome of pollution, its smoke fills the air for miles around, the seas around it are tinted black with globules of oil and stained brown with flaking rust and erosion, and the very land itself is wearing itself apart in its toil for resources and greater building. It has managed to permanently tint its own suns darker, leaving it in a state where high noon is marked only by the light of a cloudy day midmorning on Zakaz. I find it a wretched place, though some call it home."
  2. IC: Nisaduf (Comfort Sector, with Ilyin) She turns in her cocoon of blanket to cock her head at the newcomer, lips parted in confusion as she blinked once and then smiled, bouncing once. "Sure, I guess!" Watching Ilyin intently, she took another sip of the coffee. Mmmm. Nice and warm. IC: Sevyn (Commercial Sector, with Yuri) "Ah, a fellow Steltian I see! Though I must say I've never seen a being quite like you, my friend Yuri! You must hail from a separate universe as mine!" His grin never waivers even as he absently pulls a cutting board from his apron and a vegetable, chopping it with one hand expertly before pulling a small Tupperware-like object from the pocket, emblazoned with the name 'PLASTAINER' for whatever reason. He swiftly shoved the diced plant into it before the whole thing was unceremoniously shoved back into the apron. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, with Mirror) She laughs lightly, forgetting her concern for a second. "Most things are better than that smoke, Mirror. I couldn't understand living in it myself, yet Metru Nui seems to deal with it fairly well." She pauses and shrugs, turning back to her pizza. "At least in my universe. One can never be sure how it is elsewhere."
  3. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, with Mirror) "I didn't think so," she replied lightly, scanning the crowd for her brother. She frowns at the lack of impassioned shouting, clashing of blades, or even just the raw sounds of a fisticuffs fight. "Well, this is odd," Bajets mutters, glancing over the crowds once more. It's very unlike Halken to not be the center of everything. IC: Sevyn (Commercial Sector, with Yuri) "Why hello there!" Sevyn boomed, turning and striding over towards the snail with a grin of greeting. "And who would you be, good snail sir? I believe you already have heard my name?" IC: Nisaduf (Her Room) The little Matoran yawned. She was enjoying the round, even though Riss hadn't fought much and so wasn't really being shown. That was okay. She needed a warm glass of drink anyway, maybe milk or something. Wiggling out of the bed, she wrapped her Chibi Kale blanket around herself and carefully put the Enforcer plushie on her bed before slipping out of the room, eyes droopy and yawning every few seconds. She shuffled over to the nearest little table with a coffee pot steaming and poured herself a mug, adding liberal amounts of cream, sugar and milk until it was more tan than black or brown. With a sigh of contentment, she sipped the mug and began to shuffle back to her room. This hit the spot.
  4. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, with Mirror) "Hm. Guess he hasn't gotten a chance to say his thing yet, then," the Lady of Zakaz replied, pausing to take another few bites of pizza before speaking again. "I don't suppose there's much you can tell me about this tunnel experience of yours?"
  5. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, with Mirror) "Odd. He normally shouts some challenge at it before going off to do that. I suppose perhaps he's learned to quell that somewhat." She takes another bite of her pizza and chews it contemplatively, before turning back to Mirror with another questioning look. "So, where and when did my brother happen to pick you up, and has he yet given you the typical 'believe in yourself, and you can do great things' speech?" IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) He nods, seemingly unaware of his position. "Yeah. It's why I was really happy to be a Toa at first, but then Turaga Nofun, well it's Nuferix but I like my name better, told me that nah, I had to stay home and not go out into the world cause stuff. Something about the rest of the world being in chaos or something. I didn't pay attention, all that mattered was that I couldn't go questing to do all that cool stuff and help people too." The Earth Toa lets out another yawn and his eyes droop ever more, his words coming slower and slower as he fades into sleep. "Always wanted to be a Toa... help people... yeah... it's not a dream quest... it's a dream to quest..." And Zakaro passed out, flat on the ground.
  6. IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) "..nah. I'd be adventuring, saving people and all the ships. I'd save the HMS Risa, the SSS Everyday, and many more who will remain unnamed because I can't think of them right now and I'm too lazy to think of it! Or too tired. Maybe I'm lazy because I'm tired. But yes, I'd sail the seas like a swashbuckling sailor of Stelt, maybe even be a pirate." It's at this point that he tries to stand, managing to stumble to his feet, and proceeds to act out his words. "Save lassies, steal treasure from the poor rich and give it to the rich poor, and maybe help nice people too. Defeat a few bosses, the typical metagame arc, ya know. Be the hero, gather friends, level up, all that stuff. It's fun. Always wanted to do that." He sighs, and collapses backwards, falling in Olari's general direction with his back to her. "Questing sounds fun." IC: Bajets (Food Court, with Mirror) Having devoured her first slice and starting on another, Bajets only noticed her brother's absence when she realized she couldn't hear his usual grunts of contented eating. Pausing for a second, the Skakdi turned her silver pools towards Mirror with a questioning glance, speaking in the same movement. "Did you see, grmph, Halken run off to go fight some monstrosity?" IC: Sevyn (Commercial Sector) "Of course I'm calm, voice in my head! This is my typical speaking voice, though you should really know that if you're a voice in my head! Are you a voice from outside my head going into my head? I do not appreciate that!" Sevyn personally thought he was taking a random voice in his head pretty well. He had no idea of the owner of the voice, Yuri, but that didn't particularly matter to him. He was the Protosteel Chef, and highest rated host on Stelt! His default was announcement volume, the Steltian hoped the voice would understand that.
  7. i'd ask to jump in but apparently i did already so that's cool
  8. IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) "Then I am a boat," the Toa declared, rolling onto his back and staring up at the ceiling. "Yes. This is a good life. I can sail the Sevyn Seas over the multiverse, and become the ultimate living boat. This is my destiny!"
  9. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, Shopkeeper's Stall, with Halken and Mirror) She chewed and swallowed, opening her eyes to glance at her brother after the question. "Just happened across it while in the middle of a mini-war that seems to happen in here every once in a while. I'll echo your sentiments about it, though. Something to see if the chefs can make when we get home." Finished with her statement, the Skakdi went back to devouring the slice.
  10. IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) His reply was to raise a fist and knock on his head, pausing after each tap to study the sound. "It don't sound tooo hollow," he said, proceeding to knock on his arm, chest, thigh, and foot, producing just the same metallic thud each time. "Nope! I'm not hollow on the inside, and you can't be hollow on the outside! Well ya can, but that's dents. Not hollowness. Though if I'm hollow on the inside, maybe knocking something hollow against more hollow stuff canceled all the hollow out!" He gasps in horror at this revelation, and focuses on Olari for a second or two, speaking a bit faster. "If I'm all hollow than maybe I'm just a shell of a guy pretending to go through life all happy and grand but doesn't have any sort of actual substance or drive to his life, just enjoying life without being motivated by anything!" "And maybe I float too!" IC: Bajets (Shopkeeper's Pizza Stall) She made no reply, not wasting the time as she quickly retrieved a slice and bit in, offering the platters to the rest of the group while the Skakdi enjoyed the bliss of the pizza. Yes. She had made a good choice in selecting this as her food of choice. IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector) Without pausing a beat, he turned on his heel and strode out the other doorway, not loosing any of the pride in his stride. Sevyn was the best Chef in his known Universe, and some silly multidimensional tournament for fighting wasn't going to change that! He burst into the Commercial Sector with an easy grin on his face and absolutely no idea where to go to do anything. "Hello! I am Sevyn, the Protosteel Chef, and I have no idea what to do or where to go!" Sometimes honesty was the best policy. It would be determined later whether this was one of those times.
  11. IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, With Mirror, Halken, and Shopkeeper) "One Large The Works and One Large Plain, please," the golden-spined Skakdi said, smiling softly and yet deviously. Steepling her fingers, she simply waited for heaven to be served up hot.
  12. All my characters (Zakaro, Nisaduf, Bajets, Sevyn, Astaer) will be participating.
  13. IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector) Nisa wasn't all sure when exactly Riss disappeared, but the Toa did nonetheless, leaving Nisaduf grasping at air. The little Matoran stopped, and just kinda stared at the area where Riss had been for a second or two, before mumbling out, "...okay. I guess it's fine to go..." Greatly subdued, she trod into the Commercial Sector, appetite and mood squashed all at once. She absently wandered among the stalls, drifting towards the merchandise section over the food section. Gradually, she began to collect items, starting with a little carving of a Pakari that the merchant claimed was a replication of a self-carving by Zakaro and passing on through a mini "TOTALLY LEGIT LEET HAXOR VINRA ACTION FIGURE HAX MULTITOOL ADDON PACK," a Make-Your-Own Toa! Kit that included parts and masks for Ten, Zakaro, Kale, Vagust, Sesdec, Terry, Langmuir, Riss, Fia, Dexund, Tirkah, Lytrel, Olari, Jorth, Yoko, Ismekne, Dayeth, Alisa, Donrioda, Kotak, Zephyr, and Xaeraz, Limited Edition (Non)Functional BladeBoots! (which were really just sneakers designed like Fia's blades), and a few various posters of some battle scene that could be determined exactly what they were at a later date. The Matoran continued on, stopping at a small stall that read "Pasud Palico's Perfect Poofy Pillows, Plushies, and Assorted Fabrics." She stepped closer, running her hand along some of the various soft things. Lifting up a blanket, Nisaduf was treated to the image of what she could recognize as Kale Ironshaper, but small and adorable. Chibi was the name for it, if she remembered her obscure Saturday morning interdimensional broadcast animes right. Shrugging, she took it. She turned to come across a display that was both extremely evident and yet hidden. It was perfectly positioned so that people walking close to the stall could see it, but those outside couldn't. It was the most amazing thing she had ever seen. It was Host, Queen, and Enforcer Plushies. The Nynrah Ghost was starstruck for half a second, just shocked with the audacity and yet genius of this, before quickly deciding. An Enforcer plushie found its way into the depths of her blanket, bundled up on one arm, while a Host and Queen plushie were both flipped over and pushed together like they were doing a double handstand, leaning on each other for support. Because why not. Nisaduf made her way back to her room and set everything down on a shelf or a desk or a chair or the floor and then stumbled into bed and turned on her personal screen, wrapping herself up in the Chibi!Kale blanket and propping herself up with some help from the Enforcer Plushie. She sighed in contentment and snuggled up, blearily watching the round. This was nice and comfortable, indeed... IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, with Halken and Mirror) "Eh-hem," Bajets lightly coughed, trying to somewhat politely draw the Shopkeeper's attention. Even highly cultured Zakazian Ladies such as herself had limits to their patience.
  14. IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector, with Donri) "Onwards, then!" he cried, and promptly turned and walked out the door going the wrong way. IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) His lips pursed, and confusion crossed over his face before he shrugged. "I guess. I just don't think about it and usually everything turns out okay!" The Earth Toa gives a crooked grin at his companion with that statement, eyes still half-lidded. "Is easier that way. Ah just don't think about anything more complex than maybe how gears and such work and that usually works out fine for me. Did ah ever tell you about this guy ah once met? He call'd himself a ra-boy, like Kane-Ra, and he 'ould rope 'em and ride 'em and tame 'em and he talk'd kinda like this, with all his words a little off and ac-centted. Ah'm not to good at it." IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, with Halken, Mirror, and Lang) "Oh look, another reunion," Bajets muttered, nearly throwing away her napkin but thinking better of it and instead carefully folding it into a small, sooty cap of sorts, which she promptly decided was worthless and thus threw it at her brother anyway. "Though I must also question about that pizza." IC: Nisaduf (Hallways, with Riss) "It's okay," Nisa said, smiling almost sedately at Riss. She was strangely moving almost slowly, but for her that meant just normal speed. "Heights aren't fun. Most things like that aren't. Like the dark. I went in a dark tunnel to-day. It wasn't all that fun. It was dark, spooky, and had some nasty things in there like fleshy weird stuff and a big skakdi-looking fellow and floors dropping out. Like some kinda half-off fear ride, almost. It was scary at the time, though it's kinda funny now~"
  15. IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector) He nods and pauses before speaking once more. "I suppose that shall be my goal to travel to this Commercial Sector and fiercely battle the people there in a competition of spice and smoking, grilling and dicing, baking and making! Will you accompany me or shall I take on this task alone?" IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) He frowned. A look of intense concentration passed over his purple mask as he thought for a while, then shrugged and spoke. "Nooo-ot really. Maaaybe long, long, long, long-long, long time ago, in that first tournament, but I think I was too concerned 'bout not totally losing to consider all that medical-miracle stuff they've got goin' on down in the medbay. One guy I met once said he theorized it was really just a big simulation, with the arena just being filled with the sim-ball thingys in the Training Sector, and I believed that for a while. Dunno now. It's plaus-plausib-b-b-b-bb, plausible, but.." He stops, thinking tiredly, before speaking again. "..I dunno." IC: Nisaduf (Hallways) "I don't doubt that!" the Matoran chirped back, smiling up at the Toa, managing to be small even compared to the below-average Riss. She yawns again and continues. "I don't think they showed many clips while I was watching, but I think I saw an attack or two. Just too bad the bubble went pop! Water's a totally different ball-game of a battlefield, slows down everything, introduces the up-down plane as a major element for everyone to use instead of just people who fly around all the time. Really throws people off, even fighters like Ten or Zakaro take a second to adjust to stuff like that. Makes Mahri Nui unique,at least!"
  16. IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector, With Donri) "Not as bright a place as Stelt then!" He replied with a grin, hands moving to accent his words. "I don't suppose you could help me orient myself better, my friend? I will freely admit that I have no experience in this arena, and what secret ingredients it may hold." IC: Nisaduf (Hallways) "Arenas are always pretty random," Nisa replied, not noticing Riss's shaking. "Though I have noticed a general trend where Mahri Nui is often chosen for team rounds, and sometimes even the first team round like it was this time. I had the data at home but that's at home and not here so it doesn't really matter though I wonder if we're allowed to keep anything from our time in the tournament.." She pauses and shrugs before continuing. "Maybe the Host finds it amusing for some random id-ehem, unsmart individual- to always pop the bubble." IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) He chuckles listlessly at the joke before listening to her continued comments and then nods. "I sup-pose, at least now. Pretty sure my motto for at least one tournament was something along the lines of 'Sanity is overrated.' I didn't get far, but it was fun. Maybe that's why they keep bringing me back, other than the fact that I actually didn't happen to mind all that much. I make the battles interesting to watch, I suppose."
  17. IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector, with Donrioda) "An impressive feat!" Sevyn boomed in reply, grinning back at the smaller Toa. "I notice you do not carry the usual tools of my trade, am I to presume that you are from one of the other places or universes that does not have the enlightenment that is Cooking as your main form of life?" IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector) "That was unpleasant. Most certainly not what I was hoping for, but I suppose I should just expect it with what happens in this sector." IC: Astaer (Knowledge Sector) She slips into the Sector, full of books and screens, and an overall soft illumination that just made one feel at peace. Astaer enjoyed the atmosphere while it lasted, but didn't bring down her guard. Illusions of the like had been used against her before, and those had been some of the closest encounters she'd had. Nonetheless, it was a relief to duck into the shelves and relax among the comforting darkness. Her form would nearly be invisible now, with the transparency and her natural armoring. It would be a good place to retreat to, since apparently the room she began in was not safe. This might be safe. The Korumine hoped that was true. If there was one thing she learned staying alive all those years on Odina, it was that having a safe place to rest was key.
  18. IC: Nisaduf (With Riss, Lower Hallways) "Partway through!" She replied, taking the Toa's hand and bouncing to her feet. Don't think about how she did that. It's a Nisa thing. "Mmmhmm, I came and and freaked out by being happy that I got chosen then talked to some strangers for a while and then lost them and ran off to try and find some pens and paper but being me I totally forgot that they were of course going to be in the Commercial Sector which was where I was watching the round and then I met you and that armored lady and that weird smart guy and you know the rest!" IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector) "But of course! Would be a shame to just let it go to waste," the Steltian Chef replied, a hand dipping into his apron to retrieve a dash of sugar which he sprinkled over the sliced fruit and then offered the dish to Donrioda. "So! From where do you hail, my friend? Your attire is unfamiliar to me!" IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector, With Mirror, Halken, and Lang) "I'll presume not," Bajets muttered, coughing into her napkin as the smoke finally began to clear. Well, perhaps clear was not the best way to put it, but it didn't seem to be actively trying to force itself into her eyes and throat like it had seemed to do before. Taking her gunbrella up in a hand, she opened it once or twice, trying to clear a small area of relatively fresh air. IC: Zakaro (His Room, with Olari) "Yes," Zakaro decided. "Perhaps it'd be a better fit for the Medbay then. Could install one at every bedside, and it'd do whatever to make sure that things went smoothly for people. But then they'd be nurses. Nurse-ina-Box. Not as catchy. I once fought a nurse..." He trailed off into a yawn, eyes drooping evermore as he continued. "..she wasn't all that nice, though. Kept trying to stab me with some needle things. Said it would be the humane way to go..." "I think I got away from her. Yeah, that was the time I made a giant car out of earth to use as a hammer. Much more fun than the round with the backstabber." He nods in what seems like a sagely way to himself, though it's probably more comical than wise to Olari. "Had a bit of a fear of fire after that round, for a while. More like a berserkin' mode, I suppose. Logic went out the figurative window for the rest of that tournament when fire was around." "Well, at least my personal logic. It's never really here generally speaking."
  19. IC: Zakaro (His Room, Comfort Sector) "That's fine," Zakaro replied, grinning back at the magnetism Toa. He yawned and stretched, attempting to get to his feet, but probably failing either due to Olari's grip or his own clumsiness. Upon recovery, he spoke again, putting a hand on the wall. "I can't guarantee that I'll be awake all that long, but feeel free to stay~ Though I'll also say that I'll probably wander off into random topics that may or may not be relevant to the last. I kinda make weird connections while I'm tired. Not like wheels or treads tired, though. Hm. If you put wheels or treads on something, does that mean that you've tired them? I could use that, actually. Maybe I'll make a mech with that. It can just roll around tiring things both ways. That'd be cool, and unorthodox. Dox sounds like docs, like doctors, but like you shortened it and added some boxes. Ha! There's a product for the Commercial Sector, Dox! The Doc-in-a-Box!" He chuckled to himself for a few seconds before trailing off. "..that wasn't as funny as it was in my head." IC: Bajets (Commercial Sector) Bajets was slightly annoyed. First some absolutely awful smelling smoke that she had suspicions originated from that Metru-Nui lady, then the Po-Matoran that made the perfect pizza had run off to see what the issue was. And now she was stuck there, irate, with a napkin over her mouth and annoyance in her eyes. She sighed. "Does this sort of thing happen often here? This is the second thing to happen in this Sector that I've seen." IC: Nisaduf (Nearby Engineering) "Sure!" the Fe-Matoran chirped, stretching and getting up from the floor. "I haven't even had anything to eat yet, there's just been sooo many people to see and things to do and fights to fight and battles to watch!" IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector) The Steltian Chef turned to come face-to-face, or rather face-to-chest, with a Toa who had asked him a question. Grinning boldly at her, he took a step back and loudly proclaimed himself. "Ah! Greetings! My name is Sevyn, but they call me.." He pauses for dramatic effect, spins in place and tosses a fruit into the air, his twin knives flying and slicing it midair. Pulling a small dish from his apron, the same place the fruit came from, he skillfully collects all of the slices and adds a small toothpick on top. Presenting it to her, Sevyn gives another grin. "The Protosteel Chef, Greatest Cook in all of Stelt!" IC: Astaer (Hallways) Faster, now. Faster. Sprinting, the Korumine sped past some melodramatic Toa (Dexund) and his companions, and kept going without a pause. Coming upon an intersection, and seeing a group of three, two Toa and some other being she didn't know (Dayeth, Turbo, and Feli), she spun to a side, pressing herself against a wall without passing into it. Astaer had once accidentally slipped into a cliffside, and it had taken days to get out. She didn't want to risk going through another one of those experiences, so going through the wall into the unknown was not advised. She just needed to stay quiet.
  20. IC: Zakaro (Going back to his room, with Olari) "Thank'ye," he mumbled, eyes drooping again. "I'll try not to just ramble on about some random thing like I did in the tunnels. That was weird, honestly, I don't usually do that, but then again I'm usually not this tired. Or drunk, since I think this is how I act when drunk. Maybe. It's been a while since I got drunk, probably only since that time I got backstabbed and slowly roasted over a fire by said traitor. I didn't like him. Never bothered to learn his name, or maybe I just drunk myself to to forget it. Come to say, I think the next round was when I slept into it. I think I did okay, too. Maybe. That was my first tournament. Yeah. That was fuun, I once fought a guy who had fire and Kanoka and some healing robe things and stuff like that. And a dancing Toa. He was pretty cool too. Heh, cool, he used ice. Puns are fun. Oh look, we're here." They had indeed arrived at Zakaro's room, Olari's magnetism making the trip much faster than it had been previously. Interesting indeed. IC: Astaer (Her room -> Comfort Sector) As both beings left the room running, she relaxed for a second, before instantly reacting as Feraz came back in wielding some thing or another. The point was, it was sharp, pointy, glowing, and just plain not something she wanted to be apart of. Without saying a word, she fled through the wall-grimacing at the uncomfortable sensation-and into another room, turning out of it and through another wall instantly only to be greeted with lots, and lots of people. Her eyes widened, she yelped again and took off, sprinting down the hallways without looking back. Just don't look back, just don't look back. They can't catch you, don't look back. She didn't pause to consider the ramifications of what her ghost-like appearance would do, and to be honest she didn't particularly care.
  21. IC: Nisaduf (Nearby Engineering with Riss) "I suppose not," she replied, as her grin threatened to split her face in half. "At least, you wouldn't be as nice as you are," Nisaduf added. She had totally decided now, no way was she going to hurt Riss! Riss was just too amazingly great to become, beyond what little ol' Nisa's abilities could ever do. Best to leave that sort of work to the real deal, and find someone who was a bit more within the range of reason to be. IC: Bajets (With Halken, Mirror, and Lang) "When you choose a destination and prey that won't risk getting yourself thrown in jail, maybe I'd go with you," she countered, smirking back at Halken as they walked along. It wasn't too long before they reached the doors of the Commercial Sector and entered, letting the typical chaos of the room assault their senses. "I know a great stall that sells this amazing dish called Pizza," Bajets offered. Her mouth was almost watering at the idea. Oh yes, that delicious flat pastry-like dish, so greasy as to be unhealthy and yet so good. It taunted her with the memory of the flavors, and Bajets had to focus to keep a cool mask on her faces as a whiff of the scent drifted across the floor. But it would be polite to wait. IC: Astaer (Her room, Comfort Sector) . Time for a second tactic, then. Swallowing her fear, Astaer allowed herself to become more physical, yet still not there. The degree of intangibility that earned her the title of Living Ghost, the state of intangibility that she normally resided in, filled her body, making her suddenly be more there than she had been a moment ago. Without pausing, she drew herself up to her full height and widened her eyes as big as they could go and let out an unholy shriek of pain, fear, and rage, trying desperately to just make them go away.
  22. IC: Zakaro (Lower Hallways, with Elittra, Olari, and Lekona) "..yeah. I could use a hand," Zakaro replied, getting to his knees and then pushing his torso up to become relatively vertical. Somehow he didn't topple over after that, but slowly began to get to his feet. So much for that gem quest. Oh well. IC: Nisaduf (Near Engineering, with Riss and Sudrec) She gasped, speaking rapidly. "Oh, really?! You'd do that for me!? Thank you, thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!" Her words tumbled over themselves and rapidly devolved into what seemed to be nothing more than a stream of thank yous as the little hyperactive fangirl mad scientist Fe-Matoran Nynrah Ghost turned and glomped onto Riss, giving the singer one heck of a hug. She held the position for a second before leaping back, blushing and stuttering. "O-oh, I'm sorry, I-i didn't mean to i-uh well-i just didn't-i-um-sorry-i didn't mean to just h-hug you l-like that and well i mean uh-" IC: Bajets (With Mirror, Halken, and Lang) "That would be acceptable," the golden-spined Skakdi replied, before adding, "Though I seriously doubt anyone could have greater adventures than yours, brother dear. It's not as if I've been nearly eaten recently." That was a lie. Too bad, Bajets was trying to wipe that from her memory. Denial was best to start with anyway. IC: Astaer (Comfort Sector, her room) As the door opened, Astaer leaped back in surprise, another yelp escaping her throat. She had been intending to peek out again, but apparently that wasn't needed. As the duo came into focus, she froze, her eyes wide. She din't move or breathe, just allowing her transparent body to be perfectly still. Maybe, juustt maybe, she could trick them into thinking that she was just decoration. That there was someone else who had left the room. Just. Don't. Move.
  23. IC: Nisaduf (Near Engineering, with Riss and Sudrec) The little Matoran recovered in time to toss in her own addition to the conversation, managing to keep her voice remarkably unaffected by both the physical contact with her idol and the events of the last round. "Ohh, I don't think I've heard that one! Probably before your whole multiverse aspect of things took off, and we didn't get much but the broadcasts where I'm from. Not lucky enough to get merch or visitors, sadly. I really really wanted some of the stuff they've shown before.." She trails off, lapsing into comfortable silence and yawns a little. Perhaps she'd take a nap before the next round, and then she could watch Riss fight. That'd be nice. Cuddle up somewhere with a blanket, maybe some food. Always a good way to rest after a tough day, and this certainly classified as a tough day. IC: Bajets (With Halken, Mirror, and Lang) "It's a pleasure," she replied, curtsying slightly. She didn't bother to do much more, he seemed to be the usual slightly-scared, but likable sidekick type that her brother had found before. Perhaps he was toughening the guy up. Turning back to Halken, she spoke again with a hint of humor. "Mother sent your Dueling Blades, brother dear. And her regards." Pausing to hand over his weapons, she smirked at Halken again and spoke. "And an.. invitation, let's say, to visit her soon. She's been wishing to see you, don't you know?" On the surface, it was a perfectly typical passing of information from sibling to sibling, yet it carried the undertones of promised retribution if he failed to comply with his mother's wishes. Added to a hint of mischievousness, it would be evident enough that Bajets would likely be the one delivering that retribution, or perhaps just getting to drag him home and watch the show. IC: Zakaro (Lower Hallways, with Elittra, Olari, and Lekona) There was no reply to Olari's question, as Zakaro instead slowly slid down the wall, feet loosing grip on the floor to result in the purple-masked Toa toppling over and crashing into the ground. This had the side effect of waking him up. "..ow." Without moving all that much, Zakaro sighed. It was another few seconds before he spoke. "..I'm in favor of abandoning this for other things. Like sleeping. I propose and highly express interest in sleeping. Unless you want GemQuest, Episode 2, Electric Boogaloo." Turns out he did have some idea of what he did while half-asleep. Impressive. IC: Sevyn (Comfort Sector) If he had been expecting a grand welcome, he was sorely surprised. It appeared he was totally unacknowledged, and that was actually pretty fine. It was great being an amazing celebrity and all, but sometimes it was also nice to be obscure! T'was simply extraordinary, to be ordinary! Grinning as usual, he meandered around the sector, just taking it all in. People of all shapes and sizes talking, it was simply amazing! He didn't even know where to start! That's just how amazing it was! Though Sevyn would bet he could make it smell better. Not that it was bad, but there was nothing better than freshly baked pastries as an aroma to just let float through an area. IC: Astaer (Comfort Sector) Astaer was scared. This was unusual. Her greatest advantage was knowing her terrain, that and being able to not be hit by things. Now she was in an unfamiliar environment, expected to fight some tournament, and interact with people. The Korumine hadn't spoken in over a year now. Lariska had lost that right long ago, and there were only a few others she trusted enough to talk to, and they had all been off Odina on a mission or perhaps dead. Nobody told her much in those veins. Best to scout things, she eventually decided, and very carefully, she poked her head through the door, her natural ghost-like state making it merely uncomfortable and not extremely tough or painful. It probably didn't help that her transparent head appeared out of the door next to the conversing Sesdec and Feraz. Giving a surprised yelp, Astaer disappeared back into the door. OOC: Astaer entering interaction with Sesdec and Feraz, Sevyn open for interaction.

  25. IC: Bajets (Lower Hallways, with Halken & Mirror) She grunted in slight disapproval, though a slim smile did make its way across her face at Halken's greeting. "Same as the rest of you," she drawled, voice dripping with sarcasm. "The Host, Queen, and Enforcer, who else? And yes, I was last on Zakaz. Though with my luck I would've had to break you out of Xia for fighting the Mountain." "..Again." IC: Nisaduf (Nearby Engineering, with Riss) Grinning happily, the Nynrah Ghost took it and looked it over, scanning it quickly enough and nodding in reply. "Looks good! Really good, honestly! It's got the bass and the guitar and the model and coloring all set out, makes it pretty easy to take and put on paper for this guy! I bet they could even make it so that you could literally play specific songs to do stuff, or attack, like you normally do! I'm guessing that's the base for the mech you want them to build then?" Ouch. She can practically hear how forced the words were. Like she's trying to be enthusiastic but it just sounds hollow, empty. Like an Illusion. Maybe dying shook her up more than she thought. Or perhaps it was talking with that organic guy, if it could be called talking. More like she was talking at him than with him.
