  1. It was, somewhere in the middle of series 7. Anyway, as for the insults, to me they've always come across as sort of the Doctor's way of reasserting the whole "I am not your boyfriend, Clara" thing. He overcompensates in that regard to ensure that there is no doubt. That's how I see it, anyway.
  2. I'm not against characterization of Clara, and it agree that the whole "men fight over Clara..." thing wouldn't be good. The only reason I'm bothered is that they are overdoing it, causing a new doctor to have little development when he needs it most.
  3. Yes, quite a bit. That would be great, but they have done it at the expense of the Doctor. Now it seems like he has become the background character instead of the main one.
  4. If this season keeps going the way it has been, they're going to have to rename the show Clara.

  6. Wow, I should have entered this. So few entries. Anyway, 3 gets my vote for being slightly more impressive than the others.
  7. Not sure about Bionicle sets, since I never really got a chance to buy any when they were being made. As for Hero Factory, I hugely regret not getting Meltdown, despite once considering it at the Lego store.
  8. Ehksistential, yet so accessible.

  9. I totally agree. Like someone on MOCpages said, just compare the Orient Expedition Scorpion Palace with any similarly sized NInjago or CHima set, and you'll see how much it has gone downhill.
  10. Personally, I think it looks more life a torch than a spaceship. Still, looks good!
  11. I really don't see how this couldn't be Bionicle. After all, not just any old theme would be considered "Huge news" and "very exciting".
  12. The LEGO Group was vehemently anti-war in their subject matter. The original Castle set was yellow specifically because Godtfred Kirk Christiansen was worried that if you gave kids grey bricks they would use them to make tanks. Honestly, some of their more recent themes HAVE come very close to including war-related content, specifically in the Indiana Jones theme and some other licensed themes. But the LEGO Group has never made a modern, real-world war the focus of a set or theme, just its context. If Lego is vehemently anti-war, why did they produce 2 models of the Sopwith camel, a WWI war plane? Additionally, if that was okay, why would they have a problem with WWII?
  13. Yeah, Hide was immensely disappointing. Setting us up for something creepy and cool, and then... that? Anyway, I thought the Robin Hood episode was surprisingly good. Cheesy, but to the extent that you expect it enough for it not to be bad.
  14. It was pretty cool, a good, close game. I'm not an NC State fan, so I cheered for Old Dominion anyway. The only problem was some idiot behind us who yelled loudly after literally every play. My ears were still ringing when we got home.
  15. Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking when I made it a Toa of stone. Tan is standard, gold is similar to tan and brown, and silver is just armor. The black is used as a base, so the only color that really wouldn't fit for a stone Toa is the red, which I added to make it interesting. Anyway, thanks, and thanks to everyone who commented.
  16. There are quite a few leaked pictures on other sites. That said, this topic probably falls under the rule against discussing leaked images.
  17. why do people always mob me when i get put on suspect lists? Seriously, i'm going to set a record for most consecutive lynchings when on the list. Anyway. I vote Kaiser.
  18. 1: Hedorah, also known as The Smog Monster, is a kaiju, best known for fighting Godzilla in the 1971 Japanese film Godzilla Vs. Hedorah. Formed from pollution, Hedorah is also capable of feeding on pollution. He is considered one of Godzilla's most formidable enemies. He is seen in the background of the picture below: 2: Smooth jazz, is a kind of music that evolved in the late 20th century. Is is characterized by a general predictability, a smoothness and mellowness not found in normal jazz. Many argue that it should not be called "jazz" at all, as true jazz contains elaborate rhythms and harmonic structure not found in it's "smooth" counterpart. Some hate it with a passion, and others call it "elevator music". Smooth jazz has largely fallen out of favor in commercial radio stations. Despite this, smooth jazz is loved by many. It's also just a pretty cool type of music, hence why my username is based on it. Well-known smooth jazz artists include Kenny G, Dave Koz, and many others. 3: This is the profile of Lady Kopaka. In fact, she is the reason I have this blog in the first place .She hosted a raffle for premier membership, and I won. She isn't very acitve on the forums, but when she posts, she seems to post meaningfully. According to her profile, she enjoys Lego, nature, music, and many other things. She is member #36075, and has been on BZPower since Oct 28, 2005.
  19. My entry to the September BZPower flickr contest. This is, without a doubt, the most ambitious color scheme I have ever used on a MOC. I actually think I was able to pull it off fairly well. As always, comments and criticism appreciated.
