  1. IC: Celite This is bad, VERY bad."We shall not surrender to the likes of you!" the now-slightly unbalanced Turaga shouted.to their adversary. She had no intention of spending the rest of her life in a cell if she could help it. She had no chance in combat, and Surina was now unarmed. Tivanu was their only chance, and even then it was slim. "Let us pass and we shall have no reason to harm you or anyone else." Her threat was completely empty, naturally. What could she use as leverage? nothing at all. The situation was becoming utterly hopeless, and Celite began to feel her knees shaking as fear began to course through her normally-composed body.
  2. OOC: Hm. This could go either way. Why am I now expecting to spend the rest of this character's life in jail? :PIC: CeliteCelite came to an abrupt stop in front of the other two when the figure stepped in front of her group. Her eyes widened when their identities were presumed correctly. Before responding, she let out a stuggled grunt."Grah...Even with our 'party' this is a bad situation..." She said to nobody in particular. Right now she did not wish to confirm nor deny who they were. Besides, what difference would it make? There were probably very few if any other Turaga of Lightning that had Celite's distinctive build, never mind others that would possibly be travelling with a Ga-Matoran wearing a Miru. Celite raised her staff above the ground and held it in both hands in a offensive pose, despite the fact that she clearly knew nothing would come of such a foolish attack.
  3. IC: Celite"If we don't have a tunnel of any kind to navigate, then we'll have to use back alleys and somehow sneak out. There must be some other way to leave this place..."Curse it all. Celite screamed in her mind, I knew if caught this place could easily become a trap but I never anticipated being found so soon...This doesn't look good...The Vo-Turaga made no hesitation to begin walking towards the exit of the bar, and then gestured her aged hand to Surina. "I'm slower than Matoran, so we should make haste now! Tivanu, we need you as well!"
  4. OOC: Why did all the fun happen while I was away!IC: Celite The Vo-Turaga just stood there, utterly stunned at all that had just happened before her. it took a moment, but she came back to her senses with the shake of a head, but was still amazed that such a fight was able to occur between matoran and Skakdi. When she spoke, her voice trembled slightly."Y-Yes, I'm f-fine." She took several breaths before taking glimpses around the bar, at the trouble that had been caused. Combined with the fact that they'd been found by Viima, it seemed only likely that the Sanctum would soon be on their way."We should leave now. If we stick around here they'll just capture us. What's our best route of escape? Force our way through the entrance guards, or shall we take refuge somewhere local?!"
  5. IC: Celite The blue-and-white Turaga gave a small laugh. A Mercenary? Of course, how could it have been anything less? Just look at him!"I see. A Skakdi Mercenarynamed Tivanu. Very well then. I might be able to use your services at some point." Her expression was kind yet her eyes looked afraid. She knew how mercenaries could be if you promised work and defaulted on payment - she'd fried several who did that to her back in the olden days. "Surina, what should we do at this point?" Celite said, quickly changing the subject to try and avoid introducing herself for now, and ignoring that she shouldn't say a co-conspiritor's name out so callously. "My remaining money was back in Ga-Wahi, and I doubt I can travel too much farther without supplies."
  6. IC: Celite "oh." Celite sighed disappointed. She then came to realise she had not asked the name of this Skakdi."What is your name?" She said coldly.
  7. IC: CeliteThe Vo_Turaga was surprised that the Skakdi had come down to her level, but it seemed to make her feel somewhat appreciated, if only slightly. Cruelly, she asked; "and what have you done to put yourself in danger, then?"
  8. IC: Celite Her conversation with the Skakdi she was not yet introduced to fully was cut off by Surina's sudden approach. Needless to say, the Turaga was about as shocked to see her co-conspiritor in the same place as her."This was the only safe place someone like me could get to. I'm not taking my chances in the villages of earth, fire or air. So I climbed the mountain." She said bluntly, forgetting to keep her voice down in front of Tivanu. "Although frankly the guards around here have put me on edge. If word gets out of Ga-Koro..."
  9. IC: Celite "Well, I can assure you I am not dead yet. I still have life in me...though as to how long it will be worth living, I cannot ascertain." Celite gave a particularly grim look as she finished her sentence. She paused, then looked at the Skakdi again. He looked a bit strange, like his colours were somehow wrong. This intrigued the former-tinkering-Turaga to no end.
  10. IC: Celite"Lost?" Celite said inquisitively. She then asserted that she must stick to her story as much as possible. "Oh, yes indeed. Why do you ask, Skakdi?"
  11. IC: Celite Finally, the Vo-Turaga had made it to the gatehouse of Ko-Koro. Fortunately, itner-koro relations did not seem to be so bad that the gates were empty, nor had word of her fleeing seemed to have reached this area yet. She walked through the manned gatehouse, falsifying a reason for arrival and where she'd come from when a random guard enquired as to the purpose she had here. "I'm a travelling translator, looking for work. I got lost in the wastelands and seek refuge." Once bid inside, she made her way to the shopping areas of the village. Interestingly, Celite felt something pleasant around her as she paced through; electricity, more present than where she had come from. She had an extremely limited control of it, but being in the presence of any electricity made the Turaga feel more comfortable.Don't forget. the voice of her reservations made her remember, if they ever track you down, you're doomed.Trying not to think of it too much, Celite realised she would quickly be in need of money, considering her widgets were back in the hut of Ga-Koro. She gazed at the passers by, wondering if she could be of any help to them."If only I had a sign or something..."OOC: open to interaction
  12. Would Ko-Koro's gates currently be closed, or would I be able to enter without too much hassle at this time?
  13. I must vote Gali as a Toa Mata favourite. Level-headed, wise, and of course, coping without hands.
  14. IC: Celite from Ga-Wahi (on the Easternmost region of Ko-Wahi) I hate climbing... The Turaa of Lightning groaned as she forced herself up and over another ice-covered climb. There was no turning back, nor turning north nor south. Forward was the only safety she could rely on for the time being. The frozen wastes of Ko-Wahi were extremely harsh, and after a while Celite found herself walking through the beginning of a blizzard."Must...not...stop" she chanted to herself as she took each three-tipped step through the mountainous area. She'd be lucky if she made it out alive at this rate, but it was still better than risking a return trip to Ga-Koro. Not much was lost by leaving; she kept her freedom on the most part, and had lost only the money invested in her hut and what few belongings had been in there. Even so, in her age the Vo-Turaga felt like each subzero breeze was cutting straight through her. After a long period of time, the glacier fortress of Ko-Koro began to come into sight. At this point, the Turaga was forced to stop and regain her breath. Sadly, she was beginning to feel weak and she had no means of replenishing energy. To compound the matter, the fortress-like nature of the impending village made her uneasy."This could be my salvation or my prison depending on how competent those Ga-Koro guards are..." she said, her voice dissipating in the blizzard winds before she continued on, making her way to the Village of Ice.
  15. Not much, just a failed Akiri assassination in Ga-Wahi. The plotters were a Vo-Turaga and Ga-Matoran, using a drugged Le-Matoran. Their plan didn't account for guards and they weren't able to silence the Le-Matoran either. To compound the matter our fleeing of Ga-Koro has also raised suspicion and we will likely be arrested the moment we come near the village of water. Hopefully (but I doubt it), those likeness poster things won't go too far out of Ga-Wahi. But if they do, I may as well take up residence in the Dark Walk.
  16. Naturally, I don't mean right away. but there's always a calm after the storm.
  17. Oh yeah, I definitely want Celite to try again. Though perhaps she needs someone with brawn and who isn't intoxicated to help. I know just the person, once they've met.
  18. IC: Celite Even with all that, there are still guards. No chance of throttling her myself then. I should definitely take my leave now while I still have a chance! I may not be culpible for Surina's attack but I'll be implicated by that blasted Le-Matoran anyway...Perhaps I should visit the icy wastelands...yes...With that, the Turaga waited for the appropriate moment to leave her hiding place and make her way to the Ga-Koro gates. Fortunately, the guards had not yet made it this far out. Taking no chances, she made her way to the bay, running towards the mountainous area before her. Ta-Koro was too close for the turaga to hide at, and she had heard it had a fierce millitary. Thus, she put all her hopes in fleeing across the mountains, something which would take time and energy, but ultimately may free her from later persecution.OOC: Celite to Ko-Wahi
  19. Well, it was a poor assassination plot in all areas, and I knew it wouldn't work anyway...but it's been fun, that's for sure. Now to try and escape without implication or capture. That's the hard part, especially considering Celite has already been suspicious today. From the moment it started going wrong I've been enjoying this intensely! Like when you get giggle-fits. And made for some good story, too.But even so, where on earth could she go to save herself. Eep. That's hard.
  20. IC: Celite Watching everything unfold before her, Celite began to truly panic for the first time in quite a while. Thankfully the arrow that she saw cross the way and strike the unfortunate guard - who seemed unphased by the attack - would at least save her own hide from implication, but now the situation had become far more grave. She made her way to the nearest hiding spot she could find and crouched near it, trying to glimpse the rest of everything from a safe enough distance. "I take it all back," she said to herself, "This truly is the worst day I've ever experienced."
  21. OOC: woops, sorry. IC: What in the name of Makuta can we do...unless...no...Celite was hit with a thought she found quite distasteful; if enough of a distraction could be made, the Matoran might still be able to get in. But what could she do to distract all the guards...An intoxicated Matoran near the Akiri hut is a very highly-risked thing, What could possibly trump that."Mata Nui, where's some form of terrorist when you need one..." She cursed beneath her breath. Quickly looking around, she could see nothing that might help the situation. Either he must be silenced now or I should skip the Wahi soon... The latter thought was far more unappealing than the former given the circumstances.
  22. IC: Celite Watching from across the way, the 'strolling' Turaga could not help but feel her heart sink as she watched the Le-Matoran be faced with a Bo-Matoran as well as other armed Guards. Quickly, she knew she had to act. But what could she do to stop this? If the Matoran was taken away now, then not only would the plan have been for nothing but when he recovered from the drink he would no doubt spill the beans on who he had last been with. She was running out of ideas, and feared Surina may not be able to do anything either. I could interfere and bring him back...but that doesn't deal with the guards...what will I do!?She walked in the direction of the hut and tried to stay out of site, desperately trying to think of a way out.
  23. IC: Celite The Turaga of lightning gave a sigh filled with tension now that the plan was coming close to its climax and obliged to step out of the hut. Once a sufficient distance, she stood and waited.I hope this goes well... She thought to herself, the possibility of anything going wrong being particularly threatening to her safety was a serious concern. But even so, there was no point in holding back when they had come so far. It was now, or never. All she has to do is guide the disoriented Le-Matoran to the right place and hastily leave when the task was done. It shouldn't be hard.
  24. IC: Celite Nodding, Celite looked outside for a moment."Very well. That said, I'm not sure I can afford to be seen right now either. I should best keep my identity covered while leading him there. Do you have a cloak or anything?" Thinking of the other potential danger, she ten rose another point, "and what will we do if someone else is already there? It will cause trouble if this Matoran with a drug-addled brain were to see two enemies."
  25. OOC: @Toatapio Why does that make me give a hysterical giggle?IC: Celite The lack of a true mouthpiece on her kanohi acts as a great benefit for Celite, as it allowd her to mask her cruel, twisted smile that began to form as Viima took more of the drink into his body. She noticed that the Le-Matoran was intentionally avoiding her gaze, though that would not matter for very long. She took her own, untainted drink to her mouth again, the journey indeed having made her thirsty once more. It was surprising that she would be sharing drinks with the same person not once but twice in the same hut, but she did not mind. Agenda or no, a free drink was just that.
