  1. IC: Celite She took in the surroundings before getting down to the discussion. Nice place. I could certainly learn a thing or two about decorating from her... When the word 'revolution' came into play, Celite did not hold back a devilish chuckle. "Indeed we were, my dear Matoran...I must confess I was planning to deal with the matter at hand myself before we met. But two heads forming a plan would be far more effective, given how little I know about Ga-Koro's infrastructure due to my relatively short time living here." She let her tri-pointed staff rest, leaning on the table as she sat. She nodded in appreciation for the drink as she spoke.
  2. IC: Litozen There are matters that should probably be dealt with, now I think about it... the thought hit Litozen's mind like a Muaka charging for its target. Not wishing to be rude to his Le-Matoran acquaintance, he looked to Kohu and then to syvra. "Syvra, I believe there are things we should discuss..." He said, trying his best to avoid thinking about the sapient mask issue Syvra seemed to be facing. "I think maybe we should return to the Koro?" He then looked at Kohu. "Remember, the Koro's that way." he noted, pointing in the direction where he could hear the hustle and bustle. Beckoning the Bo-Toa, he began making his way out of the swamp, not caring about the muddy water that was currently staining his body.
  3. IC: Celite The Vo-Turaga nodded. She'd had enough of being overheard or reprimanded for today. "Very well, do lead the way." She felt somewhat glad to find someone she could get along with for a change. It surprised her a bit that her maniacal habit of electrocuting those nearby did not even try manifesting itself in her presence, though Celite thought that might be because she has over-exerted herself recently.
  4. IC: CeliteCelite nodded, though could not help but be concerned that someone could overhear them at any moment."I have long held a dream to have my own village. But it seems like such a pipe dream that if I could 'seize' the 'opportunity', I would." she emphasized the two words to act as euphemism for her intentions.
  5. IC: Celite, Ga-Koro"Oh, no reason." She said in what seemed far less convincing a lie. "Though I must admit I didn't expect to hear such talk about possible overthrowing so easily...Perhaps..." She looked away briefly, and then her eyes flicked back to look once more at Surina, "Perhaps I misjudged the opinions of the villagers here." Saying that gave her a twang of remorse for callously electrocuting those near her for sheer enjoyment, but at the same time the potential for an alliance was opening up. "After all, you made it sound as though there are quite a few who would like the position for themselves...and I could almost think you might be one of them?"
  6. OOC: So it was. My apologies. IC: Celite Celite could not possibly tell the truth to a complete stranger even if they had helped her, much less a Ga-Matoran who could easily report anything suspicious. "My leaf-purse was stolen by someone and I tripped over." She said, the half-truth coming out better than a total lie. "Still, the joke was on them - I don't keep widgets in it." She looked at the matoran for a moment, and debated asking the question. It would and certainly did sound odd when she finally came out with "...what is your opinion of following a Matoran Akiri?"
  7. OOC: Indeed she is...sort of IC: CeliteThe Vo-Turaga barely managed to lift herself up using her staff as a third leg. She felt so weak and had to reach for her Rau that lay on the very edge of the platform, though she nearly collapsed when she tried to."I...I feel so weak..." She said sorrowfully. "But...could you get it for me...?" She asked the Ga-Matoran, her free hand on her head as a response to the headache she was feeling.
  8. IC: Litozen He was stunned. It seemed almost certain that Syvra was telling the truth, meaning this illusion was telling the truth."A talking Kanohi...I've never even heard of such a concept. When did this happen, Syvra?" He seemed relatively unphased, though it was clear some kind of mental barrier was preventing him from freaking out over such an alien concept.
  9. IC: Litozen Despite knowing Syvra wore a Mahiki, the illusion did the trick; Litozen's concentration wavered and the Matatu stopped. "...Female...?" He muttered out of shock. Then, he collapsed into the mud with his hands to his abdomen, laughing. "Y-You look like a woman..." He said through the laughs. Litozen knew he shouldn't laugh like this, but he couldn't help it. Even to someone normally as cold as him, this was a laughable situation. When he recovered, he regained his composure and folded his arms. "I think that's enough...but what do you mean? Your mask...talks?"
  10. IC: Litozen He stopped for a moment, breaking away the vines on his chest as he did so. "I didn't take you to be the mad type."With that, he considered his next move. In the swamps of Le-Wahi above all other places, Syvra was a tough opponent. So much life to control and create, while the swamp waters aren't the best conductors of sound. He clapped his hands loudly and amplified the sound, sending in the direction some nearby fallen trees to tear off some large fragments. His Kanohi Matatu then glowed as he picked them up with his mind and threw them at his friend. "Try asking that 'voice' for help then!"
  11. IC: Litozen The Toa of Sonics grunted but didn't let it hold him back; his attack had been a feint, and with his free right hand he summoned a Sonicboom and aimed it directly at Syvra's head."Like what?!" He called out as he sent his attack towards the Bo-Toa ally.
  12. Hm? Something interesting must be about to happen.
  13. IC: Celite Turaga Celite wanted to resolve her issue peacefully if she could. At least, that's what her sanity was telling her. It seemed beyond her capacity that her obsessions would inevitably lead her into a state of insanity as she walked in the direction of the Akiri's home. However, she came to a stop to look around the area, paranoid that someone would interfere before she could so much as discuss anything. She was distracted for that brief moment when someone quickly bumped into her and ran off. Stunned, she tried to catch a glimpse of whoever it was that had been so insolent when... "...The dagger! It's gone!" She said, panicked. She looked in the direction of the thief but they had already gone, dispersed among the crowd. Celite's rage grew fiercer by the minute. Now she had just lost her leverage and the money used to get it had been wasted. As she turned back in the direction of the Akiri's hut she tried making backup plans. Before she could, though, her bad luck was further cemented as she tripped on a loose pebble, sending her flying and knocking her Rau two feet away, on the waters' edge. "....What made me think I could stay in this Makuta-hole..." She said, voice muffled as she was face-down in the ground. With her strength dissipating, she was now bordering on the realm of unconsciousness.
  14. IC: Litozern "A-AH! Well played, Syvra!" Litozen called out as the vines grabbed onto him. In the moments that his partner was seemingly lost in thought, he began to focus his sonic powers to weaken the structure of the vines and break free. His Toa Tool would be no good in this battle, so it was entirely down to his wits. "You seem distracted.," he began smirking, "Rule 2: Always pay attention!" He lunged forward, his left hand stretched into a claw-like pose as he was seemingly going to use it for a direct sonicboom attack.
  15. IC: Litozen "As both a traveller and Matoran you should be a great help to us, I suppose." He said flatly. "Though I'm not sure how you could assist in more specialist matters such as Toa training. On the topic of which..." He looked at Syvra once more. "Shall we? We've got...'business' to do soon so we may as well get our skills up to snuff." His euphemism of evil intentions as 'business' was not overtly convincing but it was still said in a light enough tone to at least pass as convincing. As he said that, an odd wind blew through the forest. Litozen brushed it off, but it seemed somehow familiar all the same.
  16. IC: Litozen"At first I was going to research the area. But then I found my..." Litozen paused for a moment to determine exactly how he should describe Syvra, "...team mate, I decided to greet him and hopefully train a bit." He found Kohu's story intruiging. Moved without knowing it, all the way from Po-Wahi? That seemed suspicious at best, but Litozen liked suspicion. "And yes, nothing could be worse than being stuck in this place. I experienced some traumatic things from the Rahi in this Wahi..." He shuddered for a moment when the memory of the Gukko incident replayed once more, and again when he remembered his battle with the Ash Bears that had left his armour fractured and his original Kanohi Mahiki broken. "As you Le-Matoran would say, Down-tree I've had some Dark-Times."
  17. IC: Litozen Smiling, Litozen closed his eyes to focus his hearing. It took him a moment, but he could definitely hear the exact direction in which the noise of Le-Koro was coming from. He pointed in the general direction."The Koro is that way. I came here by a straight walk so it shouldn't be too tricky...What are you doing here, anyway? You clearly dislike the mud." At that point Litozen realised he'd have to clean himself up later...but that shouldn't be a problem; he could just wait for it to dry and then weaken it with sound until it crumbles off him. No biggie. He sheathed his Toa Tool, the edge of the fork barely touching the surface of the swamp on his back.
  18. IC: Thentyle The orange and black Toa of Earth began asking local Onu-Matoran about work opportunities, or if help was needed. Unfortunately, all the work seemed to be taken by the Matoran and despite his superior strength to them it was insisted that he wasn't needed right now. "Why don't you just ask one of the shops or something?" one of the many people he'd asked responded. "I'm sure one of them might have something, but there's no work for you here.""Bother." Thentyle muttered. He'd returned to his home and found it had changed beyond recognition, but could not sieze any opportunities. Reluctantly, he leaned against a hut in the middle of the Koro, beginning to think to himself.I want to help people...But what should I do if there's nobody to help? The last thing I want is to run around Onu-Wahi and become bored or something....A thought began snaking its way into Thentyle's mind. It was completely unimaginable to him, yet had a strange appeal. Why not create a situation to save Matoran from? It was an idea, even if he didn't like it. And the more Thentyle thought about it, the more seductive and enticing it became. Maybe...just a small pitfall or something? Surely that couldn't hurt. It would be fine...right? OOC: New character arc - "Thentyle's Hero Syndrome"
  19. IC: Litozen"Lost, you say?" If he had one, Litozen would have raised an eyebrow at this point. "How could a Le-Matoran get lost in their own home turf?" While he no longer felt charitable to Matoran, Litozen did not currently have any nefarious plans schemed. So, it seemed only logical that he may as well help. Besides, he could be of use. "My name's Litozen, I'm a Toa of Sonics from far away." He slowly clambered towards the potential ally, who was almost completely submerged. "I don't think it's a good idea for a Matoran to be shoulder-deep in mud."
  20. IC: LitozenThe Toa of Sonics stopped in his tracks for a moment when he was alerted to the presence of the approaching Matoran, moments before being called to. He looked in the direction of the Le-Matoran, though even his Matatu Scope didn't help him see through the foggy area that far. Briefly dropping his greetings to Syvra, he called back; "Who's there? Friend or foe?" Just as a precaution, he drew his Tuning Fork. The voice more than definitely sounded Matoran, but in these days even a Matoran can be dangerous under the right circumstances.
  21. IC: LitozenAs the De-Toa made his way through the marshy land of Le-Wahi, he eventually came upon the Fau Swamp, and there, he smiled to see his ally. "Syvra!" He called out, making his way to the Toa of Plantlife, wading through the swamp, "I've not seen you around for about a week. What happened to our group training?"
  22. IC: LitozenA De-Toa clad in gunmetal armour and a grey-and-black Matatu was looking down from the treetops at what Le-Koro had become. He was quite impressed with how things had developed since the Rahkshi attack. "It's been a while now since we lost him." He muttered in reminiscence for the fallen Makuta that he wanted to serve. Still, there was little that could be done for now. His movements would have to be even more careful considering how hostile the villages had started becoming. Of course, Litozen enjoyed this to a small extent. After all, the distrust seemed almost perfect to take advantage of, but now was not the time to act on it. If anything, the relationships would have to deteriorate more. After several more minutes of observing the treetops from the Le-Koro decking, he stretched and went to the elevator, heading down. "I should find somewhere good to practice my powers in this Wahi."
  23. When I saw the hau mask and stuff I thought I was being tricked, then I noticed everyone was promoted and I wondered what had happened. Naturally I was curious when I returned to the Forum homepage and saw about a dozen more sections, but the only one I cared about reading was the one asking what the Karz was going on. And then the site went down. But I am glad it's back up! Everything seems just how I remember it.
  24. IC: Celite "Ah, at last..." The chunks of metal had been cut down and electrically merged, although it was a fairly shoddy job at best, but that's what adhesives are for, right? The Vo-Truaga used the metal to create a blade. Once that was done, Celite wrapped a flattened and weakened strip of metal around the tip to keep it together.. The end result was surprisingly light, though that was probably because it was, in fact, a mere dagger, and fairly shoddily-made at that.. The small size of the tool meant that it would at least be easier to conceal, buts its effectiveness would probably be fairly low."It's not great," She mumbled to herself, "But it should get the job done..." She placed the new blade inside the leaf-bag that she brought the metal into her house and set it around her waist in such a way that it merely looked like a slightly oversized purse. "I do hope it doesn't come to this."
  25. IC: Celite Something seemed odd in her return to the Koro. It was like the air had been charged up, but not with electricity. It felt more like danger. Celite dismissed it as mere paranoia and walked into the marketplace, looking around at the stalls. "Metal, metal, there must be somewhere that sells cheap metal..." She came to focus on a single stall which had what she needed. As fast as her legs could carry her, she went over and quickly asked how much for a fairly large pile of what appeared to be a mixture of broken Rahi joints and Rahkshi parts."That's too much...Fine, I'll only take this cheaper stuff. As long as I can tinker with it, it should be fine." The shopkeeper gave a new price, which was far more affordable for the Vo-Turaga. As soon as the money was exchanged, she had the metal placed in a pouch of leaves and carried it over her shoulder towards her hut. I should be able to do something useful with this, even if it's nothing more than a new outlet...When she came to her hut, she quickly slid across a large plant barrier that acted as a makeshift doorway before dumping her goods on the table in the middle. She reached for a few basic tools and began to cut apart sections, a basic plan in her mind coming to shape. Naturally, such experimentation should have been easier had she been created as a Fe-Matoran back in the day and not a Vo-Matoran, but her love of experimentation and science had taught her valuable things about basic craftsmanship even if she couldn't practice it often in the past.
