  1. Precisely what I was thinking when Bonesii mentioned that. It seems that Takutanuva, or in the very least another similarly-strong being, would be needed to open that gate. Although, this begs the question of what and how exactly Teridax planned to return the Matoran to Metru Nui had everything on Mata Nui gone as planned. I highly doubt he has the energy to teleport all the Matoran to the other side, so would he have created some new Rahi to do the trick?
  2. Well as I recall the Matoran who make the Kanoka can't predict the powers since that is down to the properties and purity of the Protodermis they use, or if they could predict ti then it wouldn't be too accurate. And then considering that Great and Noble Kanohi would be fairly unneeded since Toa and Turaga don't make habits of breaking their masks, the energy thing seems like a moot point. I don't think extra power is needed to produce a powerless mask. Indeed, do you even need specific disks to produce powerless kanohi?
  3. That would be a bit ambitious to interpret based on its description, wouldn't it? Better to start off with a simple one like healing, or making inorganic Inika masks. But I suppose either way we'd all be happy to have our own masks available. One downside I can think of would be the potential for some unscrupulous rahi to use them to counterfeit the grey plastic krana-kal prototypes.
  4. I think the 'ejection' of Voya Nui and the damage it caused to Karda Nui also played a bit of a major role in his death. Metru Nui caused severe damage but don't forget that once he fell asleep he also had an endless waterfall of seawater pouring into his heart. That can't be good for him, especially since those energy storms that were like a pulse died down as well.
  5. That does make sense. I suppose the only other question would be "are these mixed Noble Kanohi somehow better than those made only from level 7 kanoka". I'd imagine not in this case.Although, I must admit using averages to work it out is really sound reasoning.
  6. That would make sense. I suppose for obvious reasons it wouldn't be a common practise among Ta-Matoran do mix level 7 and 8 disks since if the result is noble then you just wasted a Toa-level disk.
  7. Level one to six Kanoka lose their powers when they are forged into Kanohi, and level sevens make Noble masks and level eights can make Great Kanohi. But with this in mind, what would happen if a level 8 and a level 7 Kanoka were used to make a mask? Would the result be a Noble, a Great, or perhaps an inferior Great Kanohi? Take a scenario; a Ta-Matoran is making a mask using a level 7 Reconstitute at Random and a level 8 Teleport disks. What would the resulting Kakama be? Or is this type of combination impossible?
  8. I'd love to plan something good but I'm (surprisingly) not great at coming up with ideas for it. I just seem to latch on to other people's plans as a result. I really shouldn't do that sort of thing.
  9. It used to be the Noble Komau. but now, my favourite is probably either the blue Matatu or the Shelek.
  10. Well, he did say... I believe custom species is covered by the 'whathaveyou' part.
  11. As far as body goes, perhaps. But I wouldn't see them growing huge teeth, claws and organic spines. So really the'd just look like the Inika because of how similar in design they are (setwise at least), but without organic masks or lightning powers.
  12. Perfectly understandable. I must admit, the Rahkshi were every bit as powerful...if not, moreso, than I was hoping they would be. But I guess to keep the game rolling they had to lose their connection to Makuta and be defeated. Oh well, life goes on. As for the periscope...Barraki? Or perhaps a biomechanical version of the Beatles were summoned to doom us all with their Liverpudlian accents. >_< Still, that was a great ending and I look forward to whatever the next arc will bring. Although, Makuta-aligned beings were widespread enough in their beliefs and morals as it is. One questions how badly they might get knowing their deity is no more. I suppose some would see the light so to speak. Others would become complacent knowing there is nobody to serve...Well, I guess it'll all come down to personal choices in the end.
  13. IC: Litozen (Le-Koro, with Syvra and Lepidus)Litozen was stunned. The attack had left him no time to carry out his plan and instead forced him to fend for his life. When the Rahkshi had begun fighting among themselves and were driven out, he knew something was very wrong, yet he could have done nothing to prevent their victory. But there was only one explanation for such organised Rahkshi to suddenly fall into chaos, and that was confirmed as word from the tunnel-toa spread around the island; The Makuta is gone. He felt anger far worse than even that which a Rahkshi could inflict. The one being he had faith in was no more. He wasn't perfectly sure what to think, but determined with Syvra's suggestion that perhaps it would be best not to think about it for the time being. "I agree." He said to Syvra. "We should just relax for now and think things through." He gave a genuined smile as he felt some relief wash over him. His attention was then drawn to the De-Matoran, Lepidus. He seemed to be attached to Litozen, and Litozen wasn't too sure he liked it. "I'm no hero" he said bluntly, "We all had to fight to survive. And we would have lost if not for the sudden change in Rahkshi behaviour." He drank from his mug and looked to Lepidus, "but I see no reason why you can't tag along with Syvra and I. I think for now we'll stick around here in Le-Koro. There's no sense in travelling at this point in time. But thanks, Matoran." Another warm smile came from him, no less genuine for now. His allegiences were still the same, but he was sure the De-Matoran may come in use one day. OOC: Thus ends Litozen's stuff. No point in continuing the conversation past this. IC: Thentyle, Onu-Koro During the battle, the worst had come to pass; Thentyle's kanohi had finally become completely rusted, and all thoughts of protecting Onu-Koro had been replaced with a desire to destroy it. He had kept well away from the Rahkshi while at the same time attempting the same basic objective as them...at least, until the thoughts in his head stopped. At the same time that the Rahkshi began to fight each other, Thentyle came to his senses. He couldn't understand what exactly he had been doing, but quickly rejoined the effort to drive them out, When the battle was won, He eventually dug himself a small crevice in a tunnel wall to think long and hard about what had happened. When he inspected his kanohi, he started to piece together aspects of his past with the present. There had been more to the flood back home than he liked to remember, and perhaps it had more to do with his strange behaviour during the battle of Onu-Koro. Seeing the mask was now almost powerless in every respect, he concluded that he should continue wearing it only until something new could be acquired. Whatever the case, it was not changing his thoughts like it had done while he was fighting. And he was quite happy with that.
  14. I'd assume the Suvas can hold more than six kanohi, especially since the Turaga also kept secondary masks (though I'm not sure if they kept them in a suva or not). Plus Suvas are known to hold Toa Tools. I suppose in technological terms, one could say they 'save' the items as data, which means that they can hold a lot more than what one would expect, so the exterior is probably a mere carving.
  15. IC: Litozen "I would prefer this method!" Litozen snapped, before quickly doubling back on his own words and calming down. "Uh...what I mean to say is, I prefer this method. It's not the most efficient but it also doubles as good exercise in my abilities." Not good, he thought to himself. I shouldn't snap like that...But he raises a good point about muting other sounds. I should probably do something about the De-Matoran when we near the enemy...He looked at Lepidus for a moment, deep in thought about his options, before shaking his head and returning to scanning the immediate area in a similar way to how a bat would check its environment.
  16. OOC: Indeed. To think it was only two pages ago that litozen could have chosen to work with you.IC: Litozen "Don't mention it, Matoran." He said nonchalantly. It bothered him that Lepidus effectively looked like a miniature version of him, and despite abandoning his dedication to the Matoran this feeling of bothersome would not leave him when he considered what might happen to Lepidus. "I'm using my powers to create a Sonar, but you should probably focus your hearing to the walls and see if you can hear anything...reptillian." The De-Toa followed Kehuri down to where he was digging, and then closed his eyes as he focused. As his elemental energy was converted into a stream of small sounds, he would then re-absorb the sound as it bounced back. It took extra effort to send the sound through the solid walls, but to Litozen it wasn't too much of a problem. Calmly, he spoke. "I can't sense anything nearby right now. It seems to be safe." He was telling the truth...for now.
  17. iC: Litozen "Just give me the word when you need me to check up. I'd suggest waiting until we've dug at least a small cave-like area. Otherwise All these trees above ground will interfere." The Toa of Sonics thought to himself about how carefully he would have to tread for this operation, but felt he should not panic. The plan was simple enough, after all.
  18. Also incredibly likely. I was honestly expecting less preparation time. Like...24 hours.
  19. I vote the former. It just seems more likely.
  20. Guess I'll give the first info on today's episode, the Crimson Horror. Spoilers abound! On a note about last week's episode, I'm a little worried about the possible revelation of the Doctor's name. That would kill the show, would it not? Moffat claims he knows but I severely doubt that. After all, it's not like such a detail was passed down to every writer of the show, else it would be common knowledge. I think he's just made up the name he thinks is suiting and is going to run with it. I just really hope when the Question is asked we don't hear it, just like the time at River Song's wedding where it was a trick. Edit: just a quick note in case anyone wants to correct me: In the spoiler I say "Doctor Who UNDER moffat" and not "by Moffat". He is pretty much calling the shots even when he doesn't write the script, after all.
  21. IC: Litozen His beaming turned to the falsest smile possible. Partnered with a De-Matoran. This turned the best scenario into the worst; how could he lure them the wrong way with a De-Matoran also listening in. Using Sonar drained enough energy, but he was sure something would help. He nodded at Kehuri as he headed towards the nearest ladder to where the Onu-Toa had dropped earlier. "You can leave the hearing to me, but if you insist then I raise no objections. We should hurry, the ground around here isn't made for tunnels, so we must be quick."
  22. So, am I right in assuming our should-be-inefficient tunnelling is still going ahead, based on Draezeth's post? Granted it would be difficult based on the swampiness of Le-Wahi, but wouldn't it just mean you have to be very careful where you dig?
  23. the only downside is by dropping the entire village it further cements the idea that Le-Koro is lost.
  24. I'm sure I'll figure something subtle. I might need Syvra's help though...*evil snicker* Ice Cream is indeed subtle...nobody knows it but the makers of ice cream already rule 70% of the world, and 80% of the MU
  25. Already formulating one. Throw rocks at Rahkshi with one hand, and sonic boom an ally from behind in the other. Or something.
