  1. This is really cool. Very unique. The one complaint I have is the color scheme. While I don't have a problem with the colors themselves, the way they're placed makes it a bit visually confusing. Maybe if you got rid of the white it would make it "flow" better. Great job overall.
  2. It's simple, but I like it. The color scheme is really nice, and the armor is well placed. I do agree with "The Invisible Noob" in that the heads look a little bit off, almost like they're floating. But overall, a job well done.
  3. This is great. Most combiners are a mess, but you managed to make it look good while making it clear that this is a combiner with the differently colored limbs. Its a little bit smaller than I was expecting, but any larger would have been really hard to work with. Good job!
  4. It doesn't really scream "Piraka" to me, but that can be forgiven because this is an amazing MOC. Really creative design throughout. This might seem random, but I like the use of the round pieces on the upper leg. It adds a cool robotic effect.
  5. This is probably the best Bionicle photography I've ever seen. Most of the time Bionicle sets look out of place outdoors, but you've managed to make them blend into their surroundings very well.
  6. I'll bring some of my favorites to college, but I'll probably leave most of them home for my brother and sister to play with.
  7. Do you think a 2015 head would work? It's silver, but it has a more robotic look to it. And if you use a silver Mahri tube to connect the backpack to the filter, a silver head might not look quite so out of place. It might still look out of place, even with the tube. I was thinking something completely custom, sort of like what Keetongu has.
  8. I found a 2002 Pohatu Nuva in a Japanese thrift store a few months ago. I also got Nuhvok, part of Lewa Mata, stars Rahkshi, Tahu Mata, Tahu Stars, and Vorahk at assorted garage sales.
  9. I might make a simple Bionicle themed game, if only to practice my programming skills.
  10. I tend to keep my sets from 2004 and before together and on display, since those were before my time, and MOC with the ones after that. I'm not much of a collector, so I don't keep them sealed.
  11. Here's a little vignette (is that the right word?) of a cabin in the woods, complete with fireplace and outhouse. I would've added a door, roof removal system, and window details, but alas and a lack (of pieces). Enjoy! General View Outhouse Interior EDIT: I have no idea how "peices" got in the title. Oops.
  12. This is really cool. I like the mechanical details. I normally don't like mixing the two reds, but I think it works in this case. The Kalmah armor looks a little out of place, but other than that, a job well done.
  13. Nice. I really like the filter apparatus. I think it might look even cooler if you made a custom head that's a little more robotic and less generic, maybe with one eye or something.
  14. What was the first Lego theme that you were a fan of? Mine was Lego Harry Potter. I've been a fan since I was 5 or so (2003). It wasn't until 2006 that I discovered Bionicle.
  15. This is cool! I like the cartoon style. You stayed true to the set while making him more dragon-ey. P.S. Perhaps you should edit the original post to include the new image link so people don't have to scroll through the page to see it.
  16. Not quite sure what you mean by wavy. I really appreciate the input though. Thanks!

    Tahu!

As a departure from my usual style, I decided to make Tahu Mata in set form. This is my first set-style drawing, so it's fairly terrible, but I might experiment with it further. Pro tip: it looks better if you stand back a couple feet. And squint. WHOOSH
  18. I made Kongu! I might make the rest of the Mahri at some point. front back pose
  19. This. I rediscovered that game recently. So much nostalgia... Exo-force was awesome too. I just wish they would have given it a decent ending.
  20. I never use stickers, because I mainly use Legos for MOCing, but I think they're a great concept because it allows you to choose. You can opt for better detail or more MOCing flexibility.
  21. These are amazing! This must have taken a lot of effort. My favorite is Tahu's.
  22. This is really nice. I like the mask choice. The trans-neon green looks great on him, even though I'm usually against that sort of thing. Overall a great depiction of what G2 Takanuva would be. The protector is... interesting. I'll admit that the head is pretty sweet, especially with the two modes.
  23. This is great! You really stayed true to Maxilos, while incorporating CCBS really well. I especially like the torso.
  24. Does anyone know what category ccbs parts are under on Bricklink? There's so many. EDIT: Looks like they're under Hero Factory. Kind of obvious in retrospect
  25. I categorize them by type, with one container each for: Technic, 2-by-x bricks, 1-by-x bricks, plates, minifigs and accessories, slopes, special shapes (hinges, etc.), accessories (chairs, flowers...), structural pieces (doors, walls), vehichle pieces, and Bionicle. It's kind of a weird system, but I'm a weird person
