  1. Nice! The color scheme is a bit haphazard, but I suppose that's hard to avoid. I really like the torso design.
  2. This is excellent! He looks much more menacing than the original. I love the teeth and the spine.
  3. These are my first Bionicle MOCs in a long time, and my first ever old/new style fusion. The fact that they are a very similar style to Nescent's MOCs is an uncanny coincidence. Anyway, they're simplistic, but I think they turned out alright. Gresh front back pose Skrall front back pose And finally, the obligatory fight. EDIT: I made an all green version. I personally don't like it quite as much as the silver, but let me know what you think.
  4. Since the stories aren't connected in any way, it seems like it would make more sense to either have a new site for next gen (BS02) or have 2 big links on the main page, one for original and one for next gen Bionicle.
  5. This is absolutely amazing! I was skeptical that the 3D would detract from the MNOG feel, but it doesn't at all. It has the same feel of the original MNOGs, and the graphics are fantastic. I can't wait for the final version!
  6. This is interesting. Some of these seem to resemble letters, and it seems like there would easily be enough unique symbol possibilities to make a complete alphabet. So while its certainly not a language now, there is at least a slight possibility that it could develop into one, and that this is either a sneak peak or a preview. I hope that's the case, because I'd really like to see another written language for Bionicle.
  7. This is amazing! I love how you made them look more like the original Toa, while still staying true to the set design.
  8. Does this mean someone will have to make a BS02?
  9. Thanks for the feedback guys! I edited my original post to include a picture I took with my camera that might look a bit better.
  10. It's Kopaka EDIT: Here is a picture that I took with my camera and then edited a bit. Let me know which one looks better, so I'll know which method to use in the future.
  11. kinda like this? or kinda like this Misty Mountains was what I was referring to. The first one was cool, but I'd prefer something with more of a distinct tune.
  12. I'd prefer something instrumental, kinda like the hobbit theme song.
  13. Thanks for the feedback and encouragement! It actually looks fuzzy because it's a really small drawing. I'll try to draw bigger in the future.
  14. This is my first contribution to BZPower in a while. Here's a random matoran for you all. Tell me what you think! link
  15. I went with MoLtoran for their awesome combination of mobility and function, but voyatoran were a close second for their creativity.
  16. My first was Breez 2.0. I never got into Hero Factory a whole lot, so I just got her for the parts. The new building style really intrigued me.
  17. I've literally had Legos since before I was born. My first sets were 2 tubs of duplos from 1998. One green and one silver.
  18. I'm one of those. I don't come on here nearly as often as I used to, and when I do, I don't post a whole lot simply because I don't have a whole lot to say. I'm kinda quiet in real life too. By the way, the fact that I'm posting in this topic strikes me as massively ironic.
  19. Roller Coaster Tycoon 1. Just as amazing as it was 15 years ago.
  20. I think with Hero Factory they're trying not to develop the plot too deeply like they did with Bionicle. This allows new fans to pick up on the story without feeling left behind. I think that is one reason Bionicle got discontinued; it got too complicated for new fans. While Hero Factory's simplistic storyline will deter older Bionicle fans, it will attract younger fans and new Lego fans. I personally don't see myself getting into the storyline, but the sets are great, with the new building system and all.
  21. In theory, I have my system pieces sorted into these boxes: 2-by-x bricks, 1-by-x bricks, plates, slopes, Technic, large pieces, 1 stud sized pieces, minifigs and accessories, vehicle pieces, and misc. It's pretty complicated, and is never fully sorted for any extended period of time. I definitely need some sort of sorting system because of my large collection, but probably a less complex one. I remember a product you could buy that sorted pieces by sifting them through multiple layers of holey boxes that organized them by size, so I might try to build a larger version of that. My Bionicle pieces aren't sored at the time being, but I might do a simple system of ball joints, the c shaped things that attach to ball joints (what are those called?), weapons, and other. EDIT: That was a revival, wasn't it? Sorry. Edit: Just in case you read this - revival is now 60 days, so your post is fine. -Wind-
  22. My favorite is the zamor launcher because it performs well, isn't too bulky, and allows for a huge magazine. Tied for second are the rhotuka launcher because it's fun and the thornax launcher because of its simplicity.
  23. I used to be very good at it. I can still read it pretty easily, but I sometimes need a cheat sheet to write it.
  24. I got Nuju Hordika for my 7th birthday. I thought he was pretty weird looking, but the spinner was pretty cool. I wasn't really into Bionicle until a few months after I got him, and even then it wasn't because of Nuju. The first set I bought for myself was Piraka Riedak, so I have more nostalgia attached to him than Nuju.
  25. "Good old Velika, never use 2 words when 127 will do." - Kazi, Legends #3: Power Play I'm sure there's others, but this one comes to mind because I use it with my little brother all the time.
