  1. First, they don't have apparatuses. The mask of life fixed that. Second, the Mahri are under the persuasion of the golden skinned being. So they're with the skakdi right now.
  2. First off, Icarax had kind of a function with the blades in his arm. You turn the gear at the top and it connects to some more gears that spin. I was a bit glad to see that, actually. Second off, I would like to see canisters again. I like how the bags make things smaller than a canister and easier to carry than a box, but canisters always had a cool aesthetic to them that really, only BIONICLE had. (Yeah, knights kingdom had them, but they eventually went to metal ones that I feel like would rust, and hf had them for the first couple of years, but BIONICLE put them in the storyline. More than hf did at least)
  3. It was a joke not meant to be taken seriously...pretty much like the entire article. I said that because Hewkii was not exactly a sight of beauty, at least in my opinion. Also, imagine being Macku and seeing your beloved Hewkii return as a Toa with other colours, weird chains hanging around and a strange looking mask. I imagine she'd at least be shocked. -Gata So what you're saying is Hewkii came back as a tall, buff, emo guy. I can see why she ran off screeming. P.S. Nothing against emo people. I know a couple, their actually pretty cool.
  4. BIONICLE Legacy has been updated! Check it out!

  5. Hey, look, prologue for the entire BIONICLE Legacy saga. And no, it's just the prologue that has this long text paragraph with a nice background. Everything else after this is real comics. And this isn't comic 0, btw. It's still slated for the 26th.
  6. I'm probably gonna look stupid for asking this, but agori and glatorian are two different species? I thought glatorian were just really really buff agori.
  7. As much as I like the party one, personally I would like to see the bohrok one.
  8. Some Mata, some nuva, a few bohrok, and one or two mctoran in my opinion. That's my opinion. And get a boxor once you get those.
  9. All three: go up to the telescope and start cliffdiving.
  10. Dude, what even? I know what you're talking about, but, that's disgusting! First off, agori are too big for that. Second off, we're trying to get the two groups to live together peacefully. Eating one of the other doesn't help your case. At all. This is about as messed up as when I saw that Nuparu basically made the boxors out of former Matoran...
  11. Yeah, it's on biomedia project. I would link it, but my phone won't let me do that easily. But the music should be in a different section from the promo cd download (which is the po koro download). I'm pretty sure the formats for music downloads there are .mp3 and .wav.
  12. It's funny you all should mention this because I just started playing with the idea of a fanfic where there's heated discrimination against the MU originals in a fashion reminiscent to the time of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Think about it. They are largely unknown. Yes, there leader healed their planet, but armies of rahkshi and skakdi still attacked their planet. Plus the dark hunters, the barraki, and some other nasty individuals from the MU are still loose. Do you really think they are going to stay quiet? The Matoran would need political influence to keep relations relatively good between the two species.
  13. Yeah, I didn't want to blur it, but I had to to get rid of the side pixelation from where I ripped it. What kind of effects would you suggest for lightning? Because this is certainly not the last lightning this series will see. And I hadn't thought of the blue for the lighting effect, I might do that. I did want that lighting to stand out, though, so I won't darken it too much. But I think I did darken my character a bit more than I usually do, so I'll probably fix that. But thank you for critiquing, I really appreciate it. In other news, all the panels for the first comic are done (once I address any issues presented in the portion above. And if you're lucky, I may post a prologue to the entire saga next week. Comic zero will come out on the 26th as planned. Keep checking back for more updates!
  14. Ok, I just thought of something else. Do Kaukaus always have a visor eye piece? It would make sense if they did.
  15. That's true, didn't consider that. You would think the Pehkui (Norik's mask) would be common since it just uses a diminishment disk.
  16. Check out the New Dawn topic over in Comics!

  17. Depends on if you're asking about Matoran masks or Great/Noble masks. Of the latter, only the ones we saw were hidden or worn by the Toa/Turaga. But the Matoran are confirmed to have various other shapes. I guess the twelve we saw are meant to be especially popular shapes. We also directly saw three masks, which Greg later canonized as the Mask of Rebounding, Fusion, and Biomechanics worn by three Matoran celebrating Mata Nui's revival. The comic isn't clear about this, but BS01 cites them as being Matoran of Metru Nui (I'm not sure if that's actually accurate, but the background looks cityish; the text says "across the universe" though). Not sure I understand the question. Could you clarify what you're asking? Regardless of the answer to question #1, the masks they wore as Toa were the masks they wore as Turaga; had they worn different masks, they would have different masks as Toa. (Assuming the main theories as mentioned in a recent topic are correct that the Matoran shapes translate to that actual power when Great-ified.) They're optional addons included by the maskmakers. Whether they usually include them or not I'm not sure, but the Noble Akaku worn by Solek did not include one. They could also be added on, though definitely aren't standard as such, on any other mask. Nuju's Matoran and Great versions of Telekinesis had an addon (it was somehow lost in the transformation to Turaga, though). It's just style. Edit: I just realized your second question probably is about some of Vakama's group having Matoran masks in Great shape versus Noble shape. The answer is sets, of course (same reason Garan's group on Voya Nui "just happens" to all have those Great masks, etc.) But Vakama had his in Noble shape, so it's not quite true anyways. Yeah, sorry, I probably should have clarified. Yeah, I'm talking about just Matoran masks. And I'm also talking about just the Mata Nui/Metru Nui population for now. So, could there be Noble Haus, Akakus, Mirus, etc. on Metru Nui and therefore Mata Nui that are somewhat common? Same question for Great Hunas, Matatus, etc. And it would make sense for not a lot of masks (including Akakus) to be scoped on Mata Nui since the upkeep of technology outside of Onu-Koro is poor. So the Matoran who did have scoped Akakus like Matoro or Pelagia (Ga-Matoran in MNOLG II) were lucky to have scopes, right? And the Noble Mahiki's mouth design. Does that have a purpose or is it design, too? Something else that dawned on me. Defilak traded with Metru Nui at some point before being sent to Karzahni (picked up chute-speak there). Could his mask shape have been used there (Kualsi)?
