  1. It might just refer to them as masks because of the way they go over the Toa's heads/masks. But it's also possible they are masks. Leads you to wonder what the creatures' heads look like if that's true, since they aren't represented in the sets. But it's worthwhile to keep in mind that product descriptions aren't always accurate to the story and might just be describing the parts from a design standpoint, same as how the faceplates of Nitroblast and XT4 are identified as masks despite not really having "heads" they fit over. They may actually have masks as this page from a LEGO magazine describes the Toa and Elemental Creatures as having "halves" of the Golden Unity Masks.
  2. I've stored all 2015 sets away except for the Toa. I found that while last year was a pretty solid year for sets, there was a bit of a problem I had with a lot of them; top-heaviness. It was for that reason and the fact that I had to make room for newer sets that I disassembled them and placed them all in a nice and cozy container under my bed. They look pretty delicious as a partially transparent pile of parts. I'll probably keep all of this year's sets up on my shelves because they don't have that problem due to the new torso piece having the function, and not the gearbox that juts out from their torsos.
  3. Old or new? Because either way, it's a fairly common thing. My 2015 Lewa's chest-print is way off-center. It's the same thing with my Skull Warrior.
  4. Yeah, here you go. Click on the picture with "The Forge."
  5. Uxar is a dragonfly, according to RoSS.
  6. Revenge must be sweet for Stormer. It's what I get for Mocing with Hero Factory sets. Oh well. I had a lot of fun. Anyway, I'm out.
  7. Black on the top and white on the bottom? Or vice-versa? I'd be happy to buy or hunt down any blackwhite masks Lego produces, although I don't know why they would produce one - the audience for that seems awfully limited. What we really need is a trans-purple eyestalk, and then we can MoC a Makuta, I think. Yeah, I don't think many people would go for them, as well. Transparent masks probably have a much bigger audience, which I guess could be proven by how many official masks have been co-injected lately. Also, a trans-purple eye-stalk would be nice, indeed.
  8. To be fair, though, LEGO has got good quality products... I mean, a small Transformers figure over here is the same price as a big Toa. Honestly, I think LEGO's prices are fairly good with the exception of licensed themes. And even then, those are licensed themes; so what do you expect? But that's just my opinion. It's nice to know that in the end, they were able to get out of such a tricky situation. They know what they're doing.
  9. I sure hope so! He's one of my more favorable Toa on the team, and I really like the "element" of Ice. Perhaps even with a bigger set, may come a bigger role?
