Strakk was one of my favorite Glatorians and a moc I considered entering for the contest. I ended up not entering him in and instead entering Gorast, but just seeing a Strakk entry makes me want to pick it.

Artakha was pretty amazing to me; Ancient was cool too but I dont know I just prefered Artakha.

I was really torn by Hafu and Hydraxon but ended up voting for Hydraxon!

Frost Hiver did it for me!

Shadowed One won it for me. Although that Matoro was pretty nice as well! 

I had a hard time choosing from 5,6 and 9. However Vezon is one of my favorite characters... so... Vezon it was! Amazing work VBBN!

I would've gone with Roodaka, but not enough CCBS for me. This contest to me, was about making a old G1 character in the style of G2. Something which I personally think was achieved by the Rahkshi with the CCBS pieces.

Still an awesome Roodaka though!

Personally I'd wait, but nobody can actually know if it will drop in price, or go up. If it is catching your eye that badly might as well get it while it is available if it means that much to you

 

Yeah I guess you're right. I mean I have enough funds for it, I'll probably just wait a month or so and see what happens.

Also do you guys know how these banners get to the public? I mean 2015 has had 2 months now and people are already selling the banners for the newly released sets. I would imagine it would take possibly till the summer wave to come out for there to be no need for the winter wave banners anymore.

Wow! Really cool recreation of Gorast! I also did her for my BBC #69 entry, and I really like the take you took with this one, because with this one you decided to use some of the old Gen 1 limb pieces like the Av-Matoran limbs.Thats a pretty interesting choice, I decided to opt out of using them in exchange for CCBS. Anyways, I really love the idea of that bug tail on her bottom. It really makes it looks much more insect like than the original set! Anyways good luck!

Thank you. Good luck for you as well.  I like to make more aesthetically  pleasing. I know it doesn't quite fit in with the 2015 style, but I don't have an extreme amount of lime green CCBS.

Being one of my favorite Makuta, I love this revamp. I regret not getting the original set, but if I did get it, I would trade it out for this revamp!

An awesome and very precise reimagination of the original sticking-mouth Gorast. A fluid color scheme (unlike the original), excellent poseability (unlike the original) and much, much more bug-like than the Gorast we're all used to. I appreciate that you kept her sleek, and didn't bulk her too much.

Thanks for your comment! I really enjoyed making her more poseable especially with CCBS! Its a great system and I tired to keep the Lime and Black color scheme as I think it couldve been an amazing color scheme for the original Gorast set.
