    i'm American, so i don't really know how pounds work, but based on the time of release and the original price i'd say he could get around £12-15 for it.

    That is a bit high.  Maybe 9-11 GBP (14-17 USD).

     

    i'll trust your judgment on this, but i do want to add: the set came out five years ago and it's NIB. i'd think that would merit a higher starting point than the original price?

     

    They where never valued at much higher sadly.  I sold one privately recently and I got about 16 USD for it.  IDK, I will look around on some markets...

    Alright,

     

    I don't think people truly understand here why bzpower get so much hate.  There are a variety of events that still leave very bad memories within the community.  At some point, people need to talk about, and fix these.

     

    The first main even that angered people off was the censoring of all outbound links especially those pertaining to MOD.  You can't keep on shoving MOD to the sidelines and pretending it doesn't exist (surprise it does).  The fact is many of those core fans that influence the entire setting still hate bzp for that very decision.

     

    Next, if I remember correctly (forgive me if I don't) we did have a big problem with people that were not able to keep their mouth quite shut tightly on political and spiritual beliefs.  Though we do occasionally hit that topic here, in the past I seem to remember multiple heated debates between not just users, but staff, on this board (BRB, MAKING YURI SIGNATURE).

     

    Finally, there were in the past (and still are now) some members here in high places that tend to make cults of personalities around themselves, leading them to be very self centered.  I will not specify anyone here, simply out of respect, but this is the big whopper that send people out.  Watch out for it, you can see it a lot.

     

    These key things were all a long time ago.  I don't even remember my username from back then.  I think we need to somehow re-make our public image from being a tight-knight group to a more open one.

    This a genius moc idea.

    No it's not, and to that extent, it also doesn't fit the theme, of a piloted robot.

     

    I will never understand people who would rather mock a contest and the other entrants, especially people who are talented and capable of better.

     

    How does the Cereal Bowl of Death not fit the theme of a piloted robot? It's a robot in the shape of a bowl of cereal, being piloted by Nick's head.

     

     

    It's a bowl of cereal; the contest host mentions several times in the contest topic that the robot should be mostly humanoid.

    Nuju posted in Kentoku a while ago. Apparently, there's a second poem and a second Abettor (this one appears to have water-related liquification powers) on Mount Koshiki. Can't remember where it is; just search either "Abettor" or "Koshiki" in the topic.

    Ok, I am kinda out of the loop on everything here :P. So anyways, do we know anything detailed about how the Kentoku bureaucracy works?

     

    The war that's a total possibility though and might even lead to the discovery of the second Abettor: Kentoku Civil War. After the death of the Rora and once the new empress takes off for a foreign land what's really to stop the clans from turning amongst themselves and fighting over scraps and/or this little thing called vengeance? I think it'd be smashing to have a war in Kentoku. Just smashing. We might even explore all five islands that way.

    I vouch for this. But, wait. "The second abettor?" Are their two of them?

    Hey guys, so I have been plowing through posts today, trying to see what was going on, and I thought of something interesting. We pretty much have a consensus that in a fight, the residents of Mata nui have an advantage over the residents of Ketongu. I believe this is not so.

     

    Yes, this is a "caster vs mele" situation, and even considering there are many "casters" have something else that we have overlooked. Advanced technology. We have seen that the Dasaka have submarines. What else do they have? Bombs? Heavy artillery? Biological weapons? Even though we have played the Dasaka, we are being kept out of the light on most of their technological advancements.

     

    I conclude that this may be more like actual history than we thought. If the isle of Ketongu are similar to that of japan, then what is Mata Nui similar to?
