  1. Actually, a blank circle would equal an "O", but I do get what you are saying...maybe replace the matoran symbol for O with a circle with a hollow dot in the center, that would be a good replacement...or make the space some new symbol, like a plus sign in the middle of the circle, or something unambiguous like that. Well the first option won't work because that's the symbol for zero. And a plus symbol looks a lot like a 4. Maybe you colour in the whole circle? That'd be pretty tedious to do for every space, though. Oh i've been writing the numbers wrong...I've been writing zero as a solid dot, with 6 being a hollow dot with a dot in the center. darnit. And I suppose you are right with the 4... It would just have to be something that is very obviously not some other character. Dot on both the left and the right. Line across the bottom. A spiral. Eh. I may come up with something practical, see if something works. I do like the idea of just printing out a page of circles, though...that would make this significantly more practical. If you do make a page of circles for writing the alphabet, wouldn't it limit the amount of letters per line? How would you do spaces?
  2. Yes, they are all certainly superhuman. Even without mask powers, their natural physical attributes are far beyond that of a human. Mask powers are extremely superhuman- the Kakama allowed Pohatu to move at supersonic speeds and phase through objects, the Pakari vastly increases Onua's already impressive natural strength which allowed him to headlock a Makuta. Bionicle characters are very strong and durable compared to normal humans. I believe it has been said before that the average Toa can lift a ton.
  3. If he was a Toa of Ice in a prison of ice while still conscious, then he could have easily absorbed the ice. Nice MOC though. I like the legs.
  4. How/why do you pronounce the letter X like chi... and the same goes for pronouncing it like cross although that makes a bit more sense. Still, that's like naming the game "Kingdom Hearts U" and pronouncing the U like "horseshoe"
  5. I wonder who is the strongest character Snart Farfle could beat in any form of competition.
  6. Why are these cool? Those Warrior sets seem fairly good for bootlegs.
  7. The Toa Nuva take this easily. While Aang has control over lots of things, the Toa Nuva have far better durability, offensive output and abilities. With the exception of fire, Aang needs the elements to be present to control them. All of the Toa Nuva have the possibility to easily counter him like this, but in character they would most likely work as a team to accomplish this goal. Their mask powers give them yet another edge over Aang. The Toa Nuva have fought enemies willing to kill them before, such as the Piraka, but Aang lacks the OP powers that let the Piraka win. Toa Nuva have vastly different anatomies than humans, which would ruin any anatomy based powers like bloodbending and possibly energybending. Metalbending could pose a threat, but I doubt Aang will be able to use it on all the Toa at once. The Nuva take this almost easily. They have the numbers, strength, toughness and abilities. Aang might kill one or two (Possibly Kopaka or Gali.) but he can't possibly defeat all of them unless its a bloodlusted ambush.
  8. From what I've seen it has a lot of potential to be an excellent system but its got a bunch of hardware flaws that keep it down. (Dead pixels, backwards wrist straps, charger port is on the bottom, the dock is trash.) Hopefully they'll be fixed in due time.
  9. Well, I'm just now starting to think about all the effects Mata Nui would have landing on a planet that's already inhabited. Imagine how terrifying that would be, a robot that reaches into space landing on your world and turning into an island, claiming to be there for "exploration" and peaceful means.
  10. No squid, but amazing anyways. I thought it couldn't get any better until I saw that sweet mouth function. I really like how the whole model has both form and function. The annotations add to the appeal, also.
  11. As a former Toa Nuva, only two of us have pillows so you're not wrong.
  12. Dang... that's actually amazing. I'm totally fine with the height, it looks really cool, and although the MOC version of him is much shorter and squatter, this is perfect anyways. I love the background and the proportions, and you did great on the color scheme. Your artstyle just works so well with all of these characters, especially Rekansi. I've got no gripes except that the face looks too much like a face on top of the mask instead of under it.
  13. While this is much, much bulkier than the version from the show, I actually like this one better. It feels more believable here that it can be a dangerous, transforming weapon that won't snap its blade or handle from a single swing. The color scheme is good, and it's a quite faithful rendition in my opinion, especially regarding the folding up. I like that you included the missile launcher as the gun.
  14. Well, good luck with all of it! I'd love to get back to it all, but I'm super busy with life right now... and probably will be for a while.
  15. I can confirm most of this, except the last part. To put me in a half-nelson, you'll have to find me first. And then not get rolled. But I'm guessing you have long enough arms to hold everyone in place, so it might be hard to roll you from a half-nelson. Not quite sure if this was the noob-est thing you've ever done, I'm sure you've done noobier. I just can't remember...
  16. So, what's happened in the time I've been gone for the last few years? Can anyone give a breakdown of all the major events?
  17. Sure, you can use my works as inspiration for your own. That's why I post them. =) What's wrong with his feet??? The ankles are really tiny and the feet look like a duck's feet with a bit less webbing. It's nothing wrong, it just looks a bit goofy and doesn't quite go with the rest of the MOC, which uses primarily blue and white with some orange accents.
  18. I'm making a request as well! One character for me- a Matoran named Rekansi. His color scheme is medium azure and keetongorange. His armor on top is keetongorange, with the underlying areas being medium azure. He wears a brown Kakama and wields one of Gorast's wings as a sword. (Of course, it's more of a sword in this instance, it just uses Gorast's wing as the piece.) He's not really a fighter though, more of an explorer. I'd like the background to just be anything natural, just nothing urban or mechanical. This comic never disappoints, and it's always worth the wait. Keep up the good work!
  19. Looks like that picture at the bottom of SCP-001.
  20. Do you mind if I copy the base design for the hands? They are really amazing! I just can't put into words how much I love them. The body is really cool and I like the jets on the back, too. However... it has duck feet. That's my only gripe. Great work here, I hope you can try to make some other stuff from that concept art in the future!
  21. It's everything I never knew I wanted. But now I do. Do you think you could post instructions? This is seriously amazing, and I want to make my own!
  22. That shading is so nice! Whenever I draw Kanohi (or anything really) I'm pretty good at drawing the actual shape, but it always ends up looking flat, and when I try to shade, it ends up... just bad. How did you do it? What are your tips on improving shading in particular?
  23. Beat me to it... I guess I'll take the Mask of Conjuration.
